Absolutely an amazing tour

By far the best tour we have ever taken. Nelson had a wealth of knowledge of the history of the area and apparitions. You get the understanding of how the children lived. This tour was a true gem. Amazing tour, 10/10 recommend!

We had an incredible tour with Nelson. It was my mom’s birthday and since we were in the area it was a perfect tour for my parents and I. Nelson’s attention to detail, professional and kind demeanor made it a very memorable day. His wealth of knowledge made us feel like we were in a time capsule. Outstanding Tour of Fatima

Nelson was an OUTSTANDING guide. He arrived early and his van was very clean and comfortable. He is extremely knowledgeable about Fatima and the entire story of Our Lady of the Rosary. His attention to detail of the entire narrative was fantastic. He took us first to Fatima to see the shepherd children’s homes and explained in great detail the living conditions in 1916/17. We saw the two spots the Angle of Peace appeared and one of the spots where the apparition of Mary occurred. We then traveled to the Church in Fatima (his parish) and learned important details about the church and saw the baptismal fount of the shepherd children. We then traveled to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. He explained all the details both inside and outside of the Basilica. We then discussed the tree the shepherd children used to wait for Mary to appear and saw the Chapel of the Apparitions. Our final stop was the modern Basilica of the Trinity. Again, Nelson was very knowledgeable about the architectural designs and interesting details of the basilica. He provided us with a very complete and fact filled tour of the sites and story of Fatima. This was the best, most complete tour of the entire Fatima experience. Nelson gets our highest recommendation.

An immersion in Fatima

My wife and I spent half a day with Nelson visiting the village of the shepherd children, the way of the cross and the Fatima Sanctuary. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel we were immediately impressed with his service, professionalism and his sincere connection to Fatima. Treasured Fatima!

My husband and I had an amazing tour! Nelson presented the story of Fatima along with architectural and artistic history. He painted the story in a way that we could place ourselves in the space and time 1916 and 1917. Seeing the grave sites in the Basilica was so powerful for me in addition to meeting Maria Dos Anjos (Lucia’s niece). Our tour covered all the sites and was very complete. I highly recommend Nelson and the Fatima Experience!

A mix of The Magnetism of Fatima & Batalha Monastery Tour in a day

Did a private tour with Nelson for a day of Fatima & Batalha Monastery. It was an enjoyable and one that my husband and I will not forget for a long while. Nelson is very engaging and informative, patient in explaining the history of Fatima and summarises the religion in a way that was easy to understand. Would recommend this tour for anyone who loves to go slow in this beautiful town, and explore in depth into its history and culture.

Very Professional and Informative!

The overall experience was great for the whole family. We had 2 senior citizens and Nelson was very patient with everything. He spoke very clear English to inform us of where we were. We can see that he was very passionate about his work and helped us understand the beauty in what makes Fatima great. This tour was one of our best highlights of our vacation!

Highlight of our Portugal Vacation!

The tour was clearly the best 4 hours of our time in Portugal. Our guide (Nelson) was a wealth of information -you could clearly tell he was passionate about the history of Fatima- By the end of the day, we were so moved by the story of the three shepherd we felt a kindred spirit with them. Afterwards, we bought a few books for additional information on Lucia's life. Thank you Nelson for sharing you time with us..We'll be forever grateful .

A wonderful tour

Nelson picked us up at the hotel and proceeded to give us a tour of the locations where the children lived and the various events occurred in Fatima. At each location he gave us a very thorough and enjoyable account of the events. Without this tour we would not have learned so much. Thanks for a wonderful time Nelson!

A great day!

We had a wonderful day with Nelson! He spent a lot of time explaining the history of Fatima and answering questions. He was very accommodating when it came to time and we never felt rushed. He even made an additional Stop at our request. We were a group of 10 aged 10-73 and everyone enjoyed the tour!

THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR VISIT TO FATIMA

This was our first visit to Fatima and much looked forward to. After searching online we decided to book 'The Magnetism of Fatima' tour with Fatima Experience. Nelson arrived at our hotel promptly at 9.00am and after introducing himself to us proceeded to take us around Fatima, all the while telling us about the Sheppard children and the events that had taken place in and around Fatima. It was such a pleasure to be in his company as he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He took us to see the houses where the children had lived and the church where they were baptised and attended. We also had the opportunity of meeting Lucia's niece who is 98 years old, we held her hand as she prayed her rosary - such a moving moment. Thank you so much Nelson for such a wonderful morning - the highlight of our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend your company Fatima Experience to anyone and everyone who will listen. Whilst ours was a small party of three, Nelson also caters for larger groups so don't hesitate, just book with Nelson, you won't be disappointed. Batalha Monastery & Fatima-Highly Recommend it!

We did the Batalha Monastery and the Magnetism of Fatima in one day with Nelson. We have 3 children 13,12,10 and we all thought it was the best day of our holidays. Nelson is a great guide, very well informed and very easy to listen to. His English is excellent. He explains everything in an easy interesting way and even though it was a long day it didn't seem to be at all. We all soaked up this new information and were left feeling really well informed and happy with our day. He was very easy to get on with and was extremely professional and genuine.
