All Inclusive Full Day Tour: Chamarel Rhumrie,7-Coloured & Lunch

A nice tour with lots of sites to visit, we booked out trip for a sunday and the provider postponed it for monday as they said the Chamarel rhum is closed on sundays. Thank you Mr Sannjv

Great explanation of our guide Shiba, the rhum tasting was absolutely the best one, we got so many information about rhum making on this tour. The viewpoints were breathtaking. Will defitively visit the island again

This is not a guided tour, the driver took us to various places and gave us time to take photos. No water was provided and because we were only picked up at 9, we couldn't get to see all the items on the itinerary. The lunch was salad, curry chicken and ice-cream. It might have been a typical lunch, but I could have eaten that food at home. Restaurant was a bit dirty. The Rhumerie Chamarel was good, we tasted about 10 different types of rum. Seven coloured earth was fascinating and the colours were very clear on the clear day we were there. I advise you not to buy rum at the first place you stop, it is very overpriced. Rather wait to buy at Chamarel or get in one of the towns.

Falsely advertised, no refund given AVOID!!!

Very rushed, 10 hours in a car with no water offered. Didn't see 2 of the places advertised. AVOID!!

Itinerary is absolutely not feasible (do not recommend)

The “guide” was only a chauffeur, as his English was poor and he could understand only the basic phrases, so we got no information from him about the attractions, culture, etc. In general, the itinerary was very tight and absolutely not feasible within 7-8 hrs, as mentioned in trip info. We spent minimum time at each stop (less than dedicated time based on itinerary), therefore we had absolutely no time to enjoy the places (just rushing from place to another place). We even skipped Rochester Falls as the driver told us that it is a dangerour place and we will not go there. The driver was driving very very fast and speeding the whole time, as the itinerary was tight. Despite all the points mentioned above, the trip lasted more than 9 hrs, so the organization was very poor (taking into account we are 2 young people, not old couple or a family with kids, who would require more time). Throughtout the whole trip the AC was turned off. We think it is absolutely not worth 240$ we paid.

Super trip

I would come directly to the rhum tasting which was actually the best part of all; hehe. We tried many different flavours of rhum. We had an amazing Mauritian Lunch (chicken/fish curry). We were given all our time to enjoy.

We were warmly welcomed from our hotel reception by our driver and guide for the day, Everything was perfect even the weather was on our side it was sunny. I would rate is 100/100 I would recommend this agency.

we did a last minute booking, but the did everything they could to give us the best service. we got Ashley as our guide, he was so friendly and he even share many local knowledge with us. it is value for money. unfortunately every great things had to come to an end, will definitely recommend.

We have booked a private South West sightseeing directly with this operator. On Day D the driver Asley was on time as they said the pick up time will be 8.30am, the driver which was very friendly and of course he took a great care of us. He explain us about a festival which took place at ‘Ganga Talao’ every year and many more. Talking about the Lunch, we had a great Mauritian dish, i’ve took the chicken curry and my friend took the fish curry, it was totally amazing. Even though we had a great time at chamarel. The rhum taste so good haha’ I would totally recommend Paradise In Your Palm Tours and also a big thanks to the operator who have guide us in other activities.

Tour besser selber planen

Haben diese Tour auf deutsch gebucht, kein bisschen war was auf deutsch. Unser Fahrer war nicht gerade kommunikativ, haben nichts von der Kultur erfahren. 2 Punkte wurden überhaupt nicht angefahren.Zu trinken gab es auch nichts( obwohl inklusive) Mittagessen war gut,aber nur ein kleines Getränk inklusive. Eintritt muss man nur bei der 7 farbigen Erde und beim Rum of Chamerell,sonst alles frei .Komisch obwohl bei der Buchung überall drin steht das Eintritt Wir hätten besser ein Taxifahrer genommen für 50,- /Person hätte uns mehr erzählt so wie wir von anderen Reisenden erfuhren.
