I will recommend everyone to do this tour. Well knowledgeable tour guides, Saidi our driver picked us on time, we were on 30 minutes ferry ride, we were honoured to see where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years of his life.

In essence we paid a premium price to go to the front of a queue. A complete rip off. Buy direct, save money and don't worry about a 5 minute queue. The boat won't leave without you.

Everything went perfectly

Great experience. We were looking for a last minute ticket and Said (the tour guy) came through. He met us at the Nelson Mandel gateway to make sure we were set with tour. He does not go on tour with you which is fine. We loved it. When we returned to the mainland he greeted us and made sure we had a nice time.

Too much emotionally

The tour was amazing we get picked up on time the tour were very organised too emotionally because of the testimony we heard from the former inmates.

I appreciate his service, more over he took me somewhere that I wasn’t thinking of. I liked his experience when it came to touring how he described the history of Robben Island museum taking me through the prison where Nelson Mandela was locked. He also drove me around the Western Cape, exploring different corners of the Western Cape going to Table Mountain such as hiking, and testing different food.
