Best tour ever

My guide Ali was everything. He took me to all the places listed, no waiting around. Lunch was delicious and I never felt rushed. Ali is the best. If you're considering doing this tour..go ahead and book it!!

A great day out

Our guide Muhammed and our driver were superb. A day to remember. One very small criticism was the stopping at obviously ‘connected’ sellers like ‘head scarves, Papyrus and a bazaar selling jewellery. However the quad bike and camel rides were great too and in such a world famous location. The Sphinx was a bit ‘left out’ as a cursory ‘there is the Sphinx’ but Muhammed and the driver looked after us well.

Every stop on the tour was timed perfectly. The lunch was great. Everyone was very hospitable.

Our Tour Guide Nour was AMAZING. She was so sweet to my daughter. Very encouraging and knowledgeable. We had a great time.

Great Day

Tour guide Mustafa and driver Mohammed were great. Since we had went to the sphinx and the pyramids the day before, we substituted that tour with the civilization museum which was awesome. We did the atv ride around the pyramids and the atv guides took numerous pics of us on the atvs. This was a surprise part of the adventure. I would not hesitate to book another tour with viator.

We had a great time with this tour and can highly recommend it. Gamal was an excellent guide and kept things very interesting. The only thing that I wish would have been different was to have better communication before the time of the tour. I tried to email several times and got no response. I didn't know if our tour guide was going to show up at the right motel or the right time but they were there on time and everything went great from there.

Five star Tour Guide and driver Very Poor lunch at a street place with low cost food and no bazar visit but small sale stores. The quads were completely run down, foot brake disable and front brake not working properly. Guide told me he asked the best quad for me …. Somewhere the communication did not work properly

The best tour yet!

Let me first say we have never been to Egypt and when we arrived at the airport I wasn't so sure this was the best idea but our hotel is great.... but my tour guide Mimo and driver Saeed are better than the best. Book "Let's Explore Egypt" and you will not regret it. We started at the Pyramids and the Sphinx and got beautiful photo ops. The camel ride was amazing my hubbys favorite part. He then toke us to the Papyrus Institue and I was in awe. I think I went over budget but who cares. We had a fabulous lunch the service and the staff were great. He even took us to his job to meet his boss. Egypt really loves to serve their guest! It is customary they offer you a beverage! O but the favorite part of the day was the ATV ride at the Pyramids. I will not come back to Egypt without using Mimo, Saeed and "Lets Explore Egypt". We will be back with our friends! BJ and Lockie

Awesome private tour combing history and activities

We spent a wonderful and packed full day on our private tour. Mimo, our tour guide was excellent and hugely knowldgable. It was great seeing the pyramids, riding camels and quadbikes and learning how papyrus is being made. A fantastic day. Would definitly recommend. We made memories for life.

Perfect Day with Amir

Perfect perfect perfect!!!! I can’t say enough great things about this tour! Our operator Amir was the funniest and most knowledgeable guide I’ve had on a trip. We only had a few days in Cairo so we wanted to make sure we made the most of it and booking this tour ensured that we did! He picked us up right on time from our hotel lobby and sat and chatted with us for a minute. We were pleasantly surprised that we would be the only guests on the tour!!!!! Because of COVID there aren’t many tourists in the country so there weren’t any other bookings for the tour so it’s the perfect time to travel and book this experience. He picked us up and got us any drinks we asked for. Then headed straight to the pyramids and Sphinx which was actually directly across from our hotel. He’s been doing tours for over 11 years so he knew exactly where to stop and take pictures and he took a bunch! He gave us all the information we needed to know about the history of all of the items and even stuff on the road while we travelled to other places. We then headed to smell different Essences and the papyrus shop, we did choose to skip the cotton shop. Before heading in he let us know we are under no obligation to purchase anything which was a great feeling for me. We look like obvious toursists so we were singled out everywhere we went to buy things. So hearing Amir directly say that we didn’t have to buy anything was a really refreshing change. But we did actually buy stuff because everything was so beautiful haha. I can go on and on about our experience but the best thing for me to say is to book it! I know with COVID people have their reservations about traveling, but if you choose to visit, PLEASEEE book this tour with Amir. He’s so wonderful! He’s not a tour guide, he’s a new friend for you to make in Egypt!

Giza Pyramids and Sphinx Tour

Our half day tour with Hussein was perfect. We had only a small amount of time and wanted to experience the Pyramid complex and learn about the history. Hussein was very knowledgeable and provided information about all of the sites and answered all of our questions. He is also a great photographer and provided us with some great memories of the day. The tour was a great experience and I would recommend for anyone who wants to tour the complex and learn about its history.

Guide Ibrahiem Rashad

We booked via booking.com good price and were contacted the day before to arrange hotel pickup. The guide Ibrahiem was punctual and friendly, knowledgeable and polite. Both himself and the driver were a pleasant company. The tour matched the description and proved an extraordinary dive into egyptian history. We decided not go inside the big pyramids as this is not an easy experience for my wife but had a great walkaround and camel ride incuding a delicious takeaway lunch from a local shawoarma place in Giza. We were then taken to a papyrus manufacture and an essences shop, good quality but a bit expensive and although you hear alot “no pressure to buy” you kinda feel compelled a little. All in all a very good experince. Be prepared for tipping, these people live out of tips so the value of tipping is a little different than what I was used to as you may end up paying in tips a significant percentage on top of your tour fare.

Solo Business Traveller

Amazing hospitality and top notch professionalism would define my first travel experience in Egypt. I stayed in Cairo for 2 days to attend a business conference and I was told to experience Egypt historical places even for half a day. I booked it through Let's Explore Egypt though I was a bit hesitant to go out of the hotel as I am a solo traveller. From the time Mustafa (tour guide) picked me up from Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel till we reached Giza, I felt like I am home as they have been very warm and a true gentleman. Day visit

I had a fabulous tour with guide Wael Kammouna His knowledge on the history of all the places we visited was incredible. His manners politeness courtesy and patient was so refreshing The camel ride taken by the young guide was out of this world and the visits to the art shop and the aromathropy outlet was another highlight. I have to say being a solo traveler you can get nervous with private tours but Jimmy made me feel at ease! First he is funny and made me feel comfortable! Second he an amazing guide full of so much information! He took his time with me, explained history of the Pyramids and the Sphinx and took me to some amazing shops! I got to see how they use to make paper and went to an amazing essence store full of aroma therapy of the highest quality! Even the lunch he suggested and took me too was great! Unforgettable Experience

Me and my best friend had several of the best moments of our life during this tour. Our wonderful guide Noni was so knowledgable and helpful. She answered all our questions and went into great detail about the history of the pyramids. She showed us pictures and illustrations as well along the way. She also provided tips of which places to go, and took us to the best places for souvenirs of our experience. Our driver Hany is amazing as well, so courteous and always there ready to go when we were done with each activity. Tour guide Noni is VERY well informed, nice and professional. She answered every question and even had visual aids for Egyptian history. Driver Hany was extremely courteous and incredibly nice. I recommend this tour over any other.

Amazing trip to Pyramids and Camel Ride with Mohamed Sadek!

Our Tour Guide, Mohamed Sadek, was fantastic. He was on time to pick us up, was very friendly, open about what to expect, and show a true passion of a key part of Egyptian History. While at the Pyramids, he told us the history of them of the ruler and how they were built. In addition, he allowed us the freedom to take pictures and helped us find the best angles for the best pictures as well as informing us to take the Camel Ride that showed all 9 Pyramids. He also kept us away from vendors/exhibits that were not worth our time and money. With respect to the shops portion of the trip, the papyrus shop has some amazing items, but they are expensive and the sales reps are a little pushy. The Oils shop was a nice stop. Great quality and several options, even if it might be slightly above price compared to others in Cairo (but you don't have to risk trying to find them!). Overall, fantastic experience and that is mostly contributed to Mohamed!

Great tour

I was asked repeatedly to provide a review, so here I am. While I enjoyed the tour for the most part, there are some improvements I felt could be made. I made the trip to the pyramids to absorb the history. However, I felt rushed to take pictures and leave. As someone who doesn’t speak Arabic, I just followed my guide around and did what he told me to do. At one point, as I’m against riding animals at tourist spots, I declined riding the camel. He handed me over to this guy to take pictures (that he very well could’ve taken on his own) and told me to tip him. 🧐 clearly just trying to take money off of me. The pictures I took myself ended up better than the photos he took. The driver Mohammed and tour guide Mehmet were great and I felt safe, but in general, this is not the tour experience I was hoping to get. It all seems like they were trying to lead me to buy souvenirs like oils, perfumes, Egyptian cotton, and paintings.

It was amazing

Everything was great. Hosni zahran is the best to do it. He made sure we had the best of the best it was very informative. He was so friendly him and the driver and he treated us like family. From start to finish. I loved it and will recommend you do this. And make sure you ask for him. You won’t be disappointed.

Camels!

Very enjoyable morning tour. We took a short drive from the hotel to the first spot which saw the two larger pyramids up close. Then we went to the second location which saw all three pyramids in a row and were able to ride camels, which was a highlight of my life, and get A LOT of pictures taken of and by ourselves. Then we went to the Sphinx which was also nice, but not as cool as the pyramids. Through all of this, our awesome tour guide, Wael Kamouna, gave a lot of great dialogue and historical facts and details about what we were visiting. After the tour, we were given a choice of type of food which was included in the tour charge and we chose Shawarma. We were taken to a restaurant called Felfela and it was also awesome. Lived up to the Avengers post credit scene hype.

Best guided tour of my life!

I have traveled to ~25 countries in my life and this was BY FAR the best guided tour I have been on. It was all thanks to our tour guide, Mimo, and our driver, Karim. They treated us like family and were extremely personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing Egyptian history with us. We flew to Cairo the day after British Airways and Lufthansa cancelled all of their flights to the Egyptian capital so we were a bit nervous in the beginning but once we met with Mimo and Karim, all uncertainty went away and we knew we were in good hands and safe with them. The tour of the pyramids and Sphinx is unforgettable and if you are able to request Mimo and Karim, you absolutely should! Great people that made the trip worth every penny!

Cairo Giza pyramids and Sphinx trip

Very good trip which was not only interesting but very fun at the same time. Going inside the pyramids was surreal, accompanied with the Sphinx tour, made for an insane day out. Our tour guide (Heba) was amazing, taking an abundance of amazing photos whilst also having a vast knowledge of the history of ancient Egypt. I would highly recommend to anyone contemplating using a tour, to go ahead and book this. It simply makes the trip far more enjoyable and the knowledge you obtain will leave you with no regrets.

The tour for people who ‘don’t do tours’!

We booked this tour with slight trepidation as we usually prefer to go it alone! The reviews were great and now I can see why. Our wonderful guide Heba sent a text the day before and this was reassuring to make contact in advance. We were met by Heba in our hotel reception and we knew immediately we were with a true professional with the kindest nature. The air conditioned mini bus was a Godsend throughout the morning. After each visit to the pyramids, camel ride, Sphinx and lunch; Heba calls ahead to the driver who meets you.....believe me, the relief of hopping straight into a/c with complimentary bottled water is such a privilege! I had read reviews that Heba takes great photos and this was our first holiday where every moment was caught! She knows all the best places and I am so grateful to have these treasured memories! Heba’s knowledge of Egypt’s history is phenomenal but the personal touch is something you either have or not and it’s those insights that really made our day. The camel ride is fun and for me, the animal welfare is paramount. I would say, on the whole, it was good. After the visit to the Sphinx, we were more than ready for lunch and Heba gives you several options for restaurants based on the food on offer. We chose the traditional Egyptian meal (which I can’t remember the name of but consists of macaroni, rice and a fresh tomato sauce). Absolutely delicious!! On the way back to our hotel, Heba air dropped all the photos she had taken and we left feeling we had made a friend. The tour is around 4.5 hours door to door and we know we could never have had such a stress free experience trying to arrange taxis, entrance tickets, dealing with street sellers etc by ourselves. We are tour converts!!!

The absolute best!

The least we can say is that our tour guide Noni and our driver Abanob were incredible is an understatement! From the second they picked us up from the hotel, they were making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment and site we're visiting. Noni is extremely intelligent and speaks fluent English & Arabic. She customized our tour from minute 1 till the end of the day, making sure we do not skip anything we wanted to experience. Abanob was phenomenal. I can go on and on about the professionalism and courtesy he showed but it would take me all night! I truly made great acquaintances in Egypt by meeting these 2 hospitable people: Thank you Noni & Abanob! Looking forward to experience more of Egypt with both of them!

Giza Pyramids &Camel ride

I came to Cairo on a solo trip and started off my first day with Ibrahim and Ali who both kindly picked me up from my hotel on time in the morning. They made me feel very comfortable and welcomed the entire day. I did the all tours with Ibrahim who was the egyptologist as Ali picked us up on time or waited for us at each point. Ibrahim was an awesome photographer! They both had wonderful and respectful personalities and did not just make it seem like they were my tourguides. Absolutely the perfect energy throughout the entire tour. Ibrahim also told me about the difference between fake and real souvenirs and help me negotiate with sellers ( many dont do that) so I appreciated it. He constantly asked me if I was hungry or thirsty and if I was good with everything so far. If you want a tour that is both informative, welcoming and authentic, book it with Ibrahim and Ali. I vouch for them especially being a solo woman traveler!

Private tour with Jimmy is the best!

We had a wonderful time touring the pyramids and other places as part of our private tour. Jimmy made the tour fun and educational. We got from place to place with ease thanks to our driver and our guide Jimmy. The unexpected bonus was having someone to take excellent and unique photos of us in all the best scenic spots! This was our first trip with a private tour guide and we will always go for this option from now on when available due to the very positive experience we had in Egypt with Jimmy 😊

Best Tour Ever!!

We were so lucky to have Eman as our tour guide! She was excellent and provided us with all information we needed! We arrived to Cairo from London and had booked the tour in advance. Eman was very warm and friendly as she made us feel protected throughout the tour, and always gave us a heads up about people who would ask for bahshish, lol.. The driver was also really cool- especially during a traffic jam! We had moments were words aren’t enough but should have been recorded!! We had a fantastic time!

Mostafa was very professional while also feeling like one of our friends. My friend Zach and I did the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx tour with a Camel ride and trusted shopping areas. Fun day on the Giza plateau

My son and I really enjoyed our day with our Guide, Hosni Zahran, touring the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum, the excursion also included a camel ride, which my son absolutely loved, and a good lunch as well. Hosni was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. He was fun and happy. It was a great start to our vacation.

Knowledgeable guide made this a lifetime experience!

Although Giza is easily accessible by taxi from Cairo, I'm glad we decided to take a guide. I booked this tour through Viator. Our guide Jimmy was punctual and texted me the previous day to confirm our appointment. The car he had arranged was clean and comfortable and the driver competent. The roads were very good. Jimmy spoke fluent English and was knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the pyramids and the Sphinx. He was also very helpful in giving me tips on how to lean forward and back when the camel was getting to its feet. That sure kept me from some serious backache later! He gave us plenty of time for photography, didn't rush us at any time, and even took us to one spot to get the Sphinx from an unusual angle. Thanks to Jimmy, our "pyramids" experience was as amazing as we had hoped!

We had the most divine day in Cairo . Gouda the tour guide and Mr Mohamad the driver were extremely professional and showed us all we needed to see and more . Gouda explained everything about the sights and went the extra mile to make us understand egypt . He took us to Siwa perfume factory and that was an experience to die for . Perfect relaxing day visit to Pyramids and Sphinx

Went a day early to Egypt on a business trip so that I could see some of the sights. Booked this day trip through Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. Heba made the day enjoyable and relaxing - great energy and for younger groups she would be perfect as she knows how to make every part of the day fun. Did a quick camel ride which was enough for me. This time of the year (Nov/Dec) is perfect weather wise too......

An amazing experience from start to finish.

They will pick you up from where you're staying and take you out to the Pyramids. From there you'll see the Pyramids and Sphinx. Get pictures taken and ride a camel. Then it's off to a few shops followed by lunch. All of that is included in the price and will keep you busy till afternoon.

Half Day Tour Of Pyramids and Sphinx

We had a great time on this tour. Eman Adbelazeem was our guide and she was friendly and helpful. Hamada was our driver. The car was clean and nice. They picked us up in the morning and took us to the pyramids, and in the afternoon we went shopping before lunch, but Eman lets you decide what you want to do. She also takes good photos and will hold your bag if you choose to go inside the pyramids. Lunch was also very delicious, although you pay for your own drinks. It’s smart to do a tour like this to the pyramids because it’s basically a private tour. Don’t forget to bring money to tip!
