Day travel Cairo to Alexandria

We had a comfortable travel from our hotel in Cairo to Alexandria hotel in a private coach!! Had wonderful time and fun enroute!! Driver was very friendly!!

Great trip to Alexandria!

This was a really fun trip with beautiful sights. The guide and driver were both very flexible. We were not rushed. The drive to and from Alexandria was comfortable and we had a short break halfway. We decided to do an optional restaurant stop on the coast which was nice. We highly recommend this tour and both our driver Mohammed and our guide Ahmed.

A jam-packed wholesome day with two amazing tour operators who you'd be very lucky to be accompanied with- Taher and Susan. They took very good care of us and ensured we got the best views and pictures during the day. Big shout out to the duo for taking extreme aid with my sister who got a nasty bite from a mosquito and left her hand completely swollen- Taher and Susan took us to a pharmacy to ensure she was treated right and she is currently feeling much better with minor swelling. You are in safe hands with Susan and Taher and I'm happy to call them very good friends of mine after an amazing day trip to Alexandria with them!

Alexandria - enjoy the Greco Roman influence and the beauty of the Mediterranean

Alexandria was amazing - very different history and architecture compared to Cairo, Giza etc. Tamer, our driver, was excellent - great company. Dr Susan (PhD) was much more than we expected - here knowledge of Egyptian history, the sites, the political history etc was fabulous and she is so well connected to the people on the entire circuit. Tamer and Dr Susan were fantastic company. This tour added a new and different perspective to our Egypt trip.

Very pleasurable and rewarding experience to Alexandria

An excellent journey from Cairo to Alexandria on a superb motorway through the agricultural countryside. Mohammed, our guide, was very knowledgeable about all the question we asked as well as his running commentary on all of the sites we saw. Although the traffic was very hectic we felt very safe with our superb and safe driver. I can easily recommend this tour, our guide and driver. 10 out of 10 for the day

Texans go to Alexandria

Hussine was a fantastic driver and Ehab was an extremely knowledgeable and personable tour guide. He accommodated out every request and endeavored to make sure we had as enjoyable and stress free of an experience as possible. He helped our claustrophobic member get through the catacombs and narrow corridors of the Qaitbay citadel. We also got to see rare Egyptian rain which I’m going to directly attribute to Ehab & Hussine. The library was extremely cool and I highly recommend spending extra time going through the museum portion instead of the library. Ehab also took many pictures of our group and sent them to me. Loved our time with these guys!

Alexandria Day Trip

Relaxing trip away from the day to day hustle of Cairo. Hats off to our driver Tamer who was very educational in his explanation of our journey. Accurate on his arrival time to our hotel to Alexandria and back to the hotel down to the minute. Incredible person and has made our stay in Cairo successful from the moment he picked us up at the airport and made wonderfully suggestion. Very highly trusted and careful driver. Never felt uncomfortable with his driving experience!

Enjoyable trip with Tamer, Ahmed & Hesham Egypt

We have an enjoyable time in Alexandria, made possible by Tamer, Ahmed and Hesham Egypt. Our driver, Tamer was a very good, skilful & safe driver. He’s very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Always opening door for me and providing help and information eagerly. To and fro Alexandria, he had a rest stop for toilet break and a short rest. We made good time in reaching Alexandria. Our tour guide, Ahmed was very informative and helpful. On the way to Alexandria, he gave us a brief introduction of the Egyptian history and its timeline. He was always pointing out to the various landmarks on the way. He led us through the insides of every sites and accompanying us throughout even though that day was terribly hot, while providing us information about the site. Always willing to help us take pictures too. As we visited Alexandria on Friday, on which Alexandria Library was closed, I made a request to replace the library with a trip to the Roman Theatre. The company Hesham was very kind to accommodate our request, even gave us free tickets to the theatre. I could easily communicate with Hesham through phone call. Due to the long journey to and fro Alexandria, we only had about three hours to visit the four sites. With Ahmed experience and help in monitoring the timing, amazingly we managed to complete visiting the four sites comfortably. However, the queue at the Fish Market restaurant was long and required an hour wait. So, as we have a long trip back to Cairo, we decided to lunch at another restaurant just below, which has a nice view of the Mediterranean Sea and the citadel too, as well as good food. Overall, we have a fruitful and enjoyable trip. Thank you Tamer, Ahmed and Hesham Egypt. 👍🏼

Excellent day trip in Alexandria

We originally called this company just to arrange transport from Alexandria to Cairo and had planned a self directed tour of the major sites. We asked last minute if the transport company did toura and they obliged. Ahmed picked us up at our hotel and he knew we had a timeline. We saw 4 sites in 4 hours despite the chaos and bad roads in Alexandria. Ahmed gave us one of the best concise summaries of the history of Egypt. We enjoyed his company and his pace. Well done!

Mina is the best guide . He showed us Giza pyramids and suggested for us Alexandria . We glad we did . We learn more about second biggest city in Egypt and Alexander the founder with Roman history . It was so much fun

Wonderful trip to Alexandria

Quite a wonderful experience: Just after booking my tour online, the tour manager Mr Hesham contacted me and arranged the whole things with me. Then came a very punctual, polite, knowledgeable, careful, nice and helpful tour guide (Mr. Yasser) who gave us a lot of information about Egyptian history. He was like a trustworthy friend from the first moment who provided us with every thing we had in mind and needed professionally. And of course not to forget the nice driver ( Mr. Ahmad) who drove quite well in the huge traffic jam of Alexandria. After returning from Alexandria, we went to some amazing shops and bought a lot if high quality stuff there. To be brief: these people are not only professionals, but are also quite nice and friendly, exactly what a tourist needs in such a trip. I am not an easy person to be satisfied, but I believe they deserve a 5 star rating.

A Nice Day in Alexandria

The day trip to Alexandria started off as an adventure navigating through the city's traffic, however we were able to learn much about the city's history by visiting the sites that came along with this tour. Mina was a great guide and made sure we got adequate photos especially at the Citadel which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea! After our visit at each site, Mina took us for lunch to a seafood restaurant also overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The views were amazing and so was the food! It was a great way to end the day! Mina also went out of his way to make pit stops for us to use the restroom and grab snacks for the slightly long drive to and from Alexandria!

What an amazing experience I have visiting Alexandria!!! My tour guide and driver were really good. Ehab is very respectful, knowledgeable and helpful. The driver Mohamed was very good with time and a nice person. It was a great experience. I felt safe the whole time and very please with everything.

Best tour ever

the tour exceeded my expectations, the pick up was just on time and the day at Alex was amazing. We had seen catacombs, Pompey pillar and the old mosques and the citadel. We also enjoyed the food at one of the great restaurants in the area,,,,of course will book with you guys again🌷🥰

Indiana Jones! (It is a classic movie)

It was the most unique tour during my satay in Egypt. It wasn’t so much the beautiful photos that were taken, it was the maneuvering the the hustle and bustle of Alexandria!! My tour guide Mina was masterful! His patience was remarkable. His knowledge of Alexandria was on point. His rapport with he people of Alexandria was impressive! He is a top notch tour guide I had him for three days wishing that I had him my entire stay in Egypt!!! He rates 100 in my book!!

Alexandria tour

The tour by Hesham to Alexandria with an experienced tour guide Ehab and driver Assem was a great experience. We visited the library of Alexandria which has an extensive history and is not to be missed. We could have Spent several hours there just admiring the library and museum. This visit included a visit to the Catacombs an archeological Site accidentally discovered. There is an optional excellent lunch at the Fish Market Restaurant on the Mediterranean waterfront not to be missed..

Loved the big finish!

How many opportunities do you get to see the Library Of Alexandria, the Mediterranean, and catacombs all in one day? I can tell you that we have only had one and I’m so happy that we took it. Our tour guide, Ehab Mehana, was phenomenal from pick up to drop off. He certainly knows his Egyptian history and he was always focused on the extra things like making sure we were well fed, getting us to the front of the lines and keeping plenty of water in our hands during the blistering heat. Wrapping the tour up in the spooky catacombs was definitely my favorite part of the trip. For the price we paid, I would say this was a great buy from Excursion Cairo Day Tours.

An Greek and Roman spot in Egipt

Ehab and Medo did a Great work as our guide and driver. We visited the main places in Alejandria and learned the history. We has a delicious lunch of seafood with a magnificent view of the Mediterranean sea. Highly recomended.

Unforgettable day

We had a day trip to Alexandria from cairo. The tour guide was explaining to us everything we see he was knowledge and helpful. The car was clean and comfortable. Lunch recommendby the guide was delicious.

Alexandria Tour from Cairo

It was a lovely tour starts from 6:30 Am to 9:30 PM!! when back to Cairo, with the Driver Mr. Ahmad and the Guide Ms.Abla included the most five famous tourists places at Alexandria. The driver is very professional, cute and came on times as well as the guide she is pleasant, skilful and has very rich historical knowledge and in addition to what mentioned, both guys responded kindly to extend my tour trip gour three hours freely by support from Mr. Hisham the GM who deserves a big thanks as he indeed made this tour meets the best value of money creterias.

Very nice city to visit although 3 hour driving . the guide was professional and not us on 8 am as requested . The highlist was Alexandria library and catacombs. They offer lunch in fish market and it was delicious lunch.

Excellent Experience | Stunning time

Family of Four, 2 Wdults and 2 kids. We had booked a week with Hesham, his team was very informative and organized and well presented. We took couple of photos with Camels, Pyramid (kids love that) and done motorcycles ride for few hours. We enjoyed the good weather. Every single detail was planned for starting from arriving at airport till we arrive to our hotel which booked by Hesham as well. Recommend Hesham to everyone and definitely will book with him again in the future.
