The camel ride was amazing. Loved and the tour guide too. The problem is going round the shops for too long. The guide was amazing and the camel get a 5, the shop tour is a 2. Overall a 3

Amazing camel ride at Pyramids of Giza

Amazing camel ride with the Pyramids of Giza in the background. Highly recommend this tour. Our driver Khaled was amazing and drove us to and from the tour quickly and safely. We were back at our hotel a little over 2 hours from our pick up.

Amazing camel ride

What A wonderful life experience to ride camels up to the top of a sand dune and see the pyramids of Giza! I would recommend it to everyone!

A day of local fun- perfumery, spice market, a great lunch and so much morel

Our guide and driver were amazing. Marisol and John knew all the spots to take us and when we were ready to go on to the next they were great about conforming to our plans.

We had a wonderful time! Our driver, Bisho was fantastic and took us to our camel experience and then helped my equestrian son add on an extra horse experience which he loved! We then went shopping and Bisho took us to Abou Tarik (sp?) for koshari. What a great start to the day!!! Thank you so much!

Perfect first day in Egypt

Absolutely wonderful experience! Our driver Moaz navigated the crazy traffic like the pro he is. Our camel ride was a beautiful unique experience. We got our first views of the pyramids and our guide took great photos for us!

Had a wonderful experience with no crowded and a peaceful camel ride within 2 hrs, a tour guide even take a nice photo and video for me, they concern your trip make sure u have a pleasant experience with them!

Awesome time with great driver and guide!

Moaz was an amazing driver who took us to meet up with Ahmed who was great at his job and took us on an hour long camel ride and took a ton of great photos of us. Both guys were very accommodating and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We highly recommend them if you are looking for a camel ride with an amazing view of the pyramids. **THIS TOUR IS NOT IN THE PYRAMID GROUNDS, DID NOT FEEL SAFE**

We thought we were riding the camels in the grounds of the pyramids - but you do not. In fact the day before, there were a few red flags which became very obvious after our tour. First of all, we booked a sunrise tour - I received a message the day before saying we would be picked up at 7am instead of 5am and when I queried this, the reply was 'the police say it isn't safe' - so we took the advice and went at the agreed time - confused at this message but also disappointed at not getting to do this at sunrise as advertised and paid for. Our tour guide (lovely man) took us to a side street for the tour, no pyramids in sight, the 4 of us felt nervous. I questioned why we were at this spot and he said we would see the pyramids soon. I can't remember the name of the man who walked the camels with us , but he was very nice and he did do a good job - the problem was we never got to relax and appreciate that at the time. First stop was a 'police' hut - now the message about the police started to make sense. The 'policeman' (not dressed in a police uniform) wanted my hand bag but I refused to give it to him, which caused alot of discussion between the Egyptians. I was asked several times by our guide but there was no way I was giving over my bag so they were satisfied when I showed them inside the bag (from atop the camel). I felt very unsafe at this stage, as did the other 3 in my group. Our guide slipped the 'policeman' some cash and then we were allowed to proceed with our tour - yesterdays message was getting clearer now. We went into the desert and could see the pyramids over the fence, but still a quite far away. We never relaxed during the tour, and there were also lots of young people on horses and quad bikes around us, which felt quite intimidating. We certainly were too nervous to enjoy their company! At the end of the day, we were safe but this tour is not what is appears and I would have hated it if there was just me and my husband - thank goodness we had another couple with us. We did pay our tour guide extra to go into the grounds of the pyramids after this tour where there are heaps of camels to ride inside the grounds. The biggest issue I have with this tour is the safety aspect and the 4 of us are really outgoing, adventurous people and we were all feeling unsafe - it was a scarey experience and I would definitely not do this tour if I was going to Egypt for the first time or recommend it to anyone.

Amazing experience, thank you to our driver Ahmed. He was very knowledgeable, professional and offered so many extra experiences, that gave us an extra 2 hours, making it a highlight of our Egypt trip!

Assem was awesome!

This experience was great and much longer than the 2 hours that was advertised! Camel ride was terrific. Assem couldn't have been more accommodating. We stopped for falafel lunch at a local kiosk and he took us shopping at some interesting places. Almost canceled due to some issues that arose with our reservation that we, thankfully, were able to resolve. So glad we didn't! Thoroughly enjoyed the day!!!

I had a great time on the camels. Moaz picked us up from the hotel and dropped us home after the camel journey. Our guide had great English and took some fantastic photos

Magical sunset in the desert

This will be an event to remember! Magical, watching sunset on the background of the pyramids. The driver was very professional, he knew exactly where to stop, how to set up pictures....We stayed on a hill just outside the fenced area that is closed for the night. Watched sunset slowly going down, people riding beatiful arabian horses. The riders were an entertainment on their own.

Great experience

I came to Cairo alone & was looking to experience all I could within a few days. Today was a blast! Ahmed was the best tour guide! From transportation, to camels & local shops. He provided so much information & was so fun to talk with. I had a great first day in Egypt!

Great tie on the camel!

My first camel ride! A little scary at first but was a great time and adventure. Great views of the pyramids. Paulo our guide was fantastic!

The view of the pyramids was great and camel ride was nice and easy. Our guide and driver Asseem were friendly and took good care of us.

I had a wonderful time

The tour was well organised. I really enjoyed my camil ride and the guide took great pictures for me. The whole trip was nice and relaxed and we even had time to feed the camils which was really fun. Amazing experience!

Awesome camel ride

Great experience to ride on camels as a family together. Driver picked us up pretty much on time, dropped us at the gate to get tickets. Getting tickets took a little longer than anticipated but once we were through he lead us to the camel herder and we had a great 1 hour ride down past the pyramids and to the sphinx where we met our driver again to take us back to the hotel.

Nice sunrise in the desert

This was a really nice tour. Started at 5am because wanted to see the sunrise on the pyramids, the driver Moaz came to pick me on time and was really nice and well driving. After we have been meeting Baboss my guide who was with our two camels. We started to walk in the desert and slowly the sun was rising. It was very stunning. We stopped at a local place in the desert for a tea in front of the pyramids, really cool. I recommend.

Misleading

The tour was misleading. I booked a 2 hr camel ride around the pyramids and the driver was trying to get me to papyrus presentation. The camel was not ready for over an hour and when I arrived it was in an alley that looked suspiciously dangerous. The sun had gone down and it was hard to get good pictures on the camel behind the pyramids. All the photos were blurry. I would not recommend this tour for the price spent. Very very overpriced!!

misrepresented, mis-organized, but a couple of nice pictures

I could write a long story - but in short driver more interested in selling me papyrus than ensuring the logistics of the trip met the billing of "sunset tour" or safe driving. the camel driver was not set up on time (because the driver wanted to take me someplace to buy papyrus first)... the camel driver who came later still, stated that the camel needed to run in order to make the sunset. To an inexperienced camel rider - as i assume most tourists are- running is very uncomfortable and probably unsafe. I asked him to stop the camel run - which he obliged. we did get nice pictures. Last note, the tour says riding around the pyramids. This is not close to the pyramids or on the pyramid grouds - but rather in a sandy area near the pyramids. Technically it is "around" the pyramids, but i believe the description is misleading.

Perfect day

Everything was perfect. The driver was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. The camel ride and views of the pyramids were surreal. Awesome way to spend a day in Giza.

L'autista è venuto a prenderci al nostro hotel all'orario concordato via WhatsApp. Dopo un breve spostamento, siamo arrivati al punto di partenza dove ci aspettava il nostro nuovo amico di cui non ricordo il nome. Abbiamo fatto una bella passeggiata, risate chiacchiere e foto. Consigliatissimo.
