Emo tours ruined our experience on Egypt.

When we bought the tickets for the day tour, we received a booking confirmation that listed all the entrance fees as included. One day before the tour, I went to tripadvisor to confirm the details and the tour description was changed, all the fees that were listed as included were changed to the excluded list, and I did not received any information regarding that change. I contacted the agency to confirm that we would get the service that we brought, and the agent said that there was an error and they corrected and that we would need to pay extra. I replied that, politely saying that as a consumer I should have been informed about the change in time to make a decision or receive the service as bought. The agent then started being rude, as if I should've know that the price we paid wasn't fair, but how could I know, since i never been in Egypt before. And then, without any further discussion, he/she said that the tour was cancelled and that I should contact viator about the refund. An important detail, the tour was cancelled less than 24hrs from the tour date. 2 days before our flight back home. We were willing to pay the fees if the price was acceptable, but emo tour not even offer that, they just cancelled. To summarize, I needed to find a new tour at 9pm, we paid 5 times the price, and had a horrible experience. The only bright side of this experience, was talking with viator agent Kyle, he solved the refund problem in less than 5 min. Maybe he should give some tips on how to treat a customer to emo tours agents.

Great experience

We had an amazing day out. Our guide Yousef was brilliant, full of knowledge, very helpful and patient. The driver was professional and we felt safe and relaxed the whole time. Thank you both again for amazing day around Cairo.

Good Experience

Tour guide was ok, we didnt go to Bazaar as tired of people asking money, we went to Mohammed Ali mosque which is not good, its dirty and not being maintained. look very nice from outside west of money. Museum trip was good, tour guide went with us and explain many important stuff so must recommend to go with tour guide otherwise not good. Museum and not very well maintained very dusty and not too much information on display that's why tour guide is important to explain.

Great Pyramid and Cairo Tour!

We booked this trip the night before after we had to cancel another tour. I am so glad we did because this tour was fantastic. Our guide Mohammed was extremely knowledgeable and also knew the best photo spots (and he was a great photographer). He made our trip easy and fun. I would recommend this tour to anybody looking for tours in Cairo. Another plus, since we had extra time he took us to a great restaurant that we would have never found by ourselves.

Amazing! Highly recommend to anyone

We were picked up from our hotel by Ahmed our tour guide on time. We were escorted around Cairo in a air-conditioned and comfortable SUV. Because we had arrange a drive to Hurghada the same afternoon, our tour guide Ahmed did literally the impossible for us to show us most of Cairo and we weren’t disappointed! He is the best. I cannot highly recommend him enough. He managed to show us the Pyramids, the Cairo Museum, the Bazaar, the old Mosque in old Cairo and even a few shops like the souvenir one and the papyrus one where we saw how its created the famous back there papyrus paper. We even managed to had a quick lunch in the old Cairo that we absolutely loved. In the end we saw the real Cairo with all of his madness, craziness, colourfulness and beautiful people, culture and food. Thank you Ahmed, we are in love with Cairo.

The pyramids and much more...

Our tour guide was Manar Nabil & our driver was Mohamed Fawzy. Firstly they were both amazing. Manar was so knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions, even though she has been doing this for years she made our two days feel like it was a joy. If you are planning to come to Cairo and use EMO tours ask for Manar she is brilliant. Mohamed our driver invited us to meet his family for a picnic. It was a truly humbling experience to meet his family and share their food. The Home made bread was wow.

In depth Egyptian culture experience

My friend and I had a great time with Ali Galal, he picked us up from the hotel from Giza and we had a day tour to the pyramids, khan alkhalili bazaar and the Egyptian museum. He is professional, flexible and very welcoming. I recommend wmo tours for anyone who is travelling to Cairo for the first time!

Cairo tour with Hala

Hala is the best tour guide ever! She pickup me up (with a private driver) from Cairo airport early in the morning and she was with me the whole day. She is very friendly and polite and, overall, a really nice person. She is extremely knowledgeable and she taught me a lot of history and interesting facts about Cairo, pyramids and all the other places we went to. I was also transported back to the airport when it was time for my flight back to Hurghada. I highly recommend this tour of Cairo which was an amazing experience for me and many thanks to my tour guide Hala for making it the most memorable trip in my life so far!

<p>I took the tour in October, my quide was Samara. I can only recommend, the tour was nice, specially I really appreciate the local places she took me the papyrus handmaking workshop and the producer of the aromatic oils, which are distributed around the whole world and produced the most famous brand parfumes. It was really authentic tour with a lot of interesting information. Highly recommended!!!</p>

<p>We booked our tour to the Giza Pyramids with Viator, which was Fantastic, the tour was done by a gentleman called Mr Marwan Mohamed and he was Phenomenal, I would INSIST on him as a tour guide, it was the most unbelievable experience, with so much insight, stories of great happenings and teachings, he really went out of his way to make us feel a part of Egypt as a hole. Cairo W/ Osama-- THE BEST!

I absolutely loved this tour! Why? Well, the tour guide was excellent, the time spent was sufficient, transportation was a breeze and the weather was great. Osoma (best tour guide EVER), picked me and my family of three up from the airport with a name sign so there was no confusion. He instantly became our favorite person in Egypt. My mom who was also on the trip, felt like he was her nephew because he resembled my cousin. We became instant family from that moment and we enjoyed our time with him all the way up to the end when he dropped us back off at the airport. I was on a transit visa b/c I had a long layover. I'm beyond happy that I booked this tour for the time I had. It's better to have a tour guide in Egypt at the moment. Saves you from all the street taxi drivers,vendors and general haggling. Our driver Ashraf was quiet (b/c he didn't speak much English and my Arabic is mediocre) but sweet. We communicated via hand gestures and understood each other, somehow. He smiled most of the time and waited for us by the van to take us from one location to the other. If you want to visit Cairo on a day tour, this is your best bet. Everything is planned for and you have your own personal expert on hand. All you have to go is smile and pose for pics.

Other places were charging so much so I was a bit skeptical to book this. I took my chances and can not believe what exceptional service that we received.</p> <p>We first went to the pyramids, which was awesome! We took photos and had a chance to ride camels. The person in charge of the camels took photos of all of us. Then we went to the sphinx. Rasha took photos of us there. We went shopping and then to lunch. Lunch was followed by the museum. Rasha is very knowledgable on Egyptian history. We learned so much at the museum that we would not have if we went alone. Again, Thank you! This is an experience that we will never forget. Be sure to book this tour and ask for Rasha.</p>

<p>We got to see the pyramids, the sphinx, a papyrus-making worship, the Egyptian museum, and a bazaar downtown. It was such a full day and we were so well provided for! Abrahim was our guide and he was amazing! We said we were interested in riding camels and he threw that in, free of charge! He stopped for us to get coffee and he was overall extremely accommodating and kind. He knew so much about Egyptian history and culture which benefitted us greatly. We LOVED this tour, and for the cost it is amazing. We talked to other tour groups who thought it was crazy that we would get lunch, water, snacks, and admittance to the great pyramid area and the museum included, so definitely worth it.</p>

Mala coordinación

El día del tour no fueron por mi al hotel, me quedé esperando y solo logré comunicarme hasta la tarde con el responsable del servicio, me ofrecieron cumplir con el servicio al día siguiente, lo cual afectó mis planes de viaje y causó un gasto inesperado por los contratiempos. Acepté que me dieran el tour al día siguiente y por fin llegaron por mi al hotel. Debo reconocer que el servicio fue muy bueno: el coche cómodo, la guía muy profesional, el lunch y la comida de buena calidad, y sobre todo muy amables conmigo. Algo que no me gustó fue que entre la visita de una a otras pirámides te llevan a tiendas para que compres cosas como si fuera parte del tour, y como en todo Egipto, los vendedores son una cosa muy molesta.
