I was a woman traveling alone in Egypt- this guide was great!

I spent a wonderful day outside of Cairo visiting the country area of Dahshur. Nevin took me to the Bent Pyramid which is older than the Giza pyramids! I was even able to enter the Bent Pyramid- a fabulous adventure. After that we went to a traditional country home for a delicious fresh lunch and tea to see the old ways. Fantastic, less touristy day . This is my third visit to Egypt and I take a tour or two with this group every time and they always show me wonderful new adventures.

A day in Ancient Egypt

A day packed with information and wonderful sights.

Although the operator completely forgot about our trip - we rang him and the driver turned up 45 mins late - the stand in guide was excellent and the driver was quick and efficient. All in all, a good experience.

Awesome Egyptian tour guys and aites

My guide Ibraham and driver Kareem were awesome. Abraham had so much history informant he told me. It was awesome. I will remember for the rest of my life. They made sure I was good and enjoying myself. They made me feel so comfortable that we laughed and joked. I didn't have to wait online to get to the pyramids or Sphinx. Abraham seemed to know everyone and introduced me to them, even the military and police. Hope to have them tour me again.

Excellent trip, great guide Marco

Our private trip to Giza Pyramids was excellent. We have very experienced guide Marco, egyptologist. He took us to special places in necropolis of Giza. These places were not overcrowded, we can take awesome photographs from special spots. He customised our trip according our wishes. We have great day with him, one of the best trips in our lifes. BEST TOUR EVER!!!

I’ve booked a tour to see the pyramids and end up being the most amazing time! Mohamed Fayed was my tour guide. He was a very helpful and attentive guide, a gentleman full of knowledge and a great photographer too!! I surely will be back to Egypt and try different tours with him!! Excellent guides

What can we say, honestly lost for words. Our guides were exceptional, from navingating safely through the Cairo traffic to showing us the little known viewing points and tombs. Lunch was sumptuous and water was available too which was handy with the warm weather. Bear in mind to carry small notes with you for the people you encounter on the way. We are already planning our next trip with the same group!

Please believe me when I say this was one of the absolute BEST Tours in my life, especially since it was my birthday. The sites are magical, people are warm and love the American Tourist and do anything to please you. Our guide, Ebrahim and our driver were SUPERB. They made our private tour amazing. We had a great time. Guide picked us up on time at our hotel and did an awesome job getting us to the sites and showing us all the important parts so we didn't get lost wasting time searching around. Would highly recommend for anyone.

Personalised tour that sees all the important pyramids!

A really amazing day tour that went to all the key pyramid sites in Cairo. Started at Sakkara with the step pyramid and the amazing tombs with hieroglyphs, then to Dahshur to see the Red and Bent pyramids, and then to Giza to see the Great pyramid and Sphinx. Zanaty was very knowledgeable so accommodating. He tailored the experience to what I was wanting from the day. If you are looking for a tour that does all the pyramids, and really focusses on seeing the sites without the touristy add-ons, this is the one for you!

Excellent day tour with guide

We had a great day with Ebrahim and the driver. The day went to schedule and was very well-organized. We spent the right amount of time at every site. The camel ride was very enjoyable. Great day in Giza and Sakkara

Great daytrip with our guide Ibrahim. Good english, very friendly and great history knowledge. Kept a good pace, but yet flexible given the wide age range of our group (from 3 to 73 years old). Would absolutely recommend.

Overall a very FANTASTIC day! one to remember couldn’t of asked for a better tour guide than Ebrahim a very wholesome gentleman. He made the entire experience beautiful from start to finish. He educated us with the fascinating Egyptian history.

A safe and interesting tour of one of the greatest sites on the planet.

Our private tour was hosted by a knowledgeable and friendly guide and the car driven by a friendly and competent driver. They accommodated my frequent requests to stop to walk or/and for photographs. We started with driving around the Giza pyramids and The Sphinx, with a stop for a camel ride by the Pyramid of Menkaure. After stopping for a quick lunch, we drove down to the town of Dahshur to see the Bent and Red pyramids, then over to Saqqara to see the Stepped Pyramid of Djoser. There were few tourists at Dahshur, and I thought the Bent pyramid was fascinating to look at. You can even hike up, then down into this pyramid, although I demurred as it made me feel claustrophobic. Overall I recommend this tour which explores more than just the crowded Giza area.

Amazing tour and Ibrahim is the best

Had an amazing tour with Ibrahim. Informative, fun, comfortable. He was great at helping us avoid crowds, get great views of the pyramids, and took some amazing pics/vids all around Giza and dashour and Sakkara. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking to get a great day of sightseeing.

Brilliant private tours in ancient Egypt

We booked a series of private tours across 5 days, to all the main sites in and around Cairo. We were lucky to have the best guide to all things ancient Egypt - Kyrllos Eskandar - who is a certified egyptologist and really knows his stuff. His passion is infectious and the way he explained the history of all the sites really brought to life ancient Egypt for us and helped us understand the ancient Egyptians much better than before. My 6-year old now wants to become an egyptologist too. :) Kyrllos and our driver from Giza (Mr. Abdallah, I believe) were also very well organized as well as accommodating to my family's needs and requests, so that we had a great experience across the board with them, throughout each day that we spent together. I highly recommend Deluxe Tours and our guide Kyrllos if you want to have a hassle-free and exciting experience diving into the history and treasures of ancient Egypt - whether it be at the pyramids in Giza/Sakkara/Dahshur, or at the Egyptian Museum or NMEC, or whatever you want to visit in Cairo.

Abrahim went out of his way to give me and my sister a magical day . He was kind and thoughtful with me ( I had a health problem ) and we spent the day at my slightly slower pace . He was funny and really made an effort with us , even taking time to get us photos of our amazing day. He really was incredibly knowledgeable about Egyptian history and all it’s artifacts . Our day with Nevin was excellent. She kept us updated on her arrival before picking us up at our hotel. She brought us to all the best sites in the order she knew would work best with the foggy weather and crowds. We had the bent pyramid all to ourselves and highly enjoyed the experience inside. She’s a pro at getting great photos for you or your group, and will tip the guards so you can go certain places away from the crowds, we have some amazing pics from our day thanks for her! She got us fresh, local fruit from street vendors and we had the most amazing falafel pitas for lunch at her favourite spot! She will ask you what you prefer to do in terms of visiting some of the local shops. We passed on the carpet making but elected to go into the perfume shop so we could have a coffee and use their washroom - of course this is where they take all tourists and try to sell to you. It is totally up to you if you want to do these things, so don’t be shy to tell her no if it’s not your scene. (We had a terrible experience in Luxor at the alabaster factory which we weren’t given the option to decline. The shop owner was insanely pushy and wouldn’t let us leave until we bought something). Nevin will allow you to make the choice, which we thought was very respectful. All in all, what a wonderful day with such a knowledgeable and friendly guide! excellent experience. The driver is nice and the buffet is super nice. The music player is god and I enjoyed super nice belly dancing girl performance.

Nevine was our guide and made it a wonderful day. We had the Dahshur pyramids almost to ourselves in the morning. She gave us a lot of insight into many cultural aspects of modern Egypt as well as bringing ancient Egypt to life. Thank you!

A Great Private Tour with Morsy and Mohammed

Deluxe Tours provided excellent service and I highly recommend this individual tour. My guide, Morsy, tailored the tour to my individual interests and needs. He was knowledgeable, patient, and very passionate about the Ancient Egyptians. I felt that even though he had seen these sights many times, he still was in awe of the marvels of these ancient times. In addition to Morsy, I also had an excellent driver named Mohammed. For anyone who has been to Egypt, driving can be quite dangerous for someone who isn't experienced with Egyptian traffic. Awesome Day !

We did this tour with Aly Elsheemy and Ahmed (driver) and I can’t say enough how patient they were with our family. Ahmed was very considerate and made sure the journey was safe for us. Aly just made our day … he gave us the information we needed to understand each sights, keeping in mind we had young children, he made it interesting for them and kept them engaged . He knew the best spots and locations which weren’t crowded and we got some great pictures. He also acts as the perfect photographer. He wasn’t hesitant at all and very patient in taking some quality pictures. His sense of humour was so good we laughed and enjoyed the whole day. What a fantastic day! The guide Aly and driver Ayman were very friendly and helpful. Aly tailored the tour to my interests and allowed extra time at sites off the beaten track, as well as covering the main sites at Giza. Aly was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited, making the tour an informative and enjoyable experience.

Giza Pyramids and Cairo Tour

Our tour guide, Nevin, was absolutely fabulous and she made our visit to Cairo hassle free, fascinating and fun. Nevin went the extra mile to make sure we went to the less crowded areas, got the best views, experienced the souks without hassle and tasted the local food and drink. She is an extremely knowledgable Egyptologist, speaks excellent English, is full of energy and always has a smile for everyone, making her well liked and well respected everywhere we went. Fascinating, Fun and Friendly!

We spent the day with our guide, Mohamed Goda and driver. He is an extremely friendly man, with a great sense of humour who is also very knowledgeable. We only had a day to spend but it was action packed and Mohamed helped us negotiate our way through the crowds. He even picked a great place to pick up lunch. The itinerary was well planned and didn't feel rushed at all. We were very happy with the tour and especially the Mohamed. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Great tour! Spanish speaking guide

Our guide Morsi, had a lot of knowledge about the Egyptian Culture, you can tell how much he likes his job when he is showing you the sites, he solved all our questions and told us very interesting facts. His spanish was really good, so it was really easy talking with him. The tour is quite complete with all the archeological sites you visit! A little bit exhausting but the driver, who was also very kind, waits for you at the bottom of the pyramids to carry you on to the next one. The lunch was also good, the food really tasty and the restaurant clean and nice. It was a really nice tour, thanks Morsi! Recomended!

Nice Experience

We went through what was advertised and the guide helped us take some nice photos. The Sakkara and Dahshur pyramids complex are definitely underrated. There were very few tourists there compared to the Giza complex, and we could enter them as well. Great experience overall. Lunch could have been a little better though.

I had a great time

WORST tour guide we’ve EVER had

I travel often, and this was hands down the worst tour guide I’ve ever had. The guide did not understand or communicate well in English at all despite being an English guide. Also, the guide took us to the red pyramid and pointed out the bent pyramid from a distance. Then started driving away without ever intending to make the 3 minute drive to the bent pyramid for us to see it. I had to remind them and they had to make a Uturn and the driver looked at his watch and looked annoyed at our very appropriate request. The guide also only stopped at the side street for us to view the sphinx and did not take us or tell us how to get to the area where everyone else was closer in front viewing the sphinx. Again I had to request and figure out how to do it myself. Also the tour guide was not knowledgeable at all. Literally only sharing one or two short simple facts at each site. The guide did not even get out with us to guide us at the vent or red pyramids and just stayed in the car. No additional information added. The tour operator was responsive but should have better selection process and quality control for the guides used. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. I would warn people that they are risking having what should be a dream visit to the pyramids turn into a nightmare.

Pyramid Perfection

We got exactly what we signed up for! Our guide, Nevin was friendly and knowledgeable. The way the tour was organized was perfection- she saves the best for last! I was skeptical about the lunch we would have but she made delicious recommendations. Wish I was able to eat more! She went above and beyond, even taking photographs of us. Just be sure to bring extra cash to tip guards along the way as you are visiting the sites.

Awesome guided tour of everything I dreamed of as a kid

I was able to accompany my daughter and her friends on a trip they planned to Jordan and Egypt. Their selection of a full day private trip to the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Dahshur Pyramids, camel rides and lunch was a perfect prelude to the Nile cruise they scheduled the next day. Our guide, Ebrahim, was well versed in the all the history of the area and a very friendly person all around. We were chauffeured through the city in a nice air conditioned van by Ismael who did an awesome job. Like many I had dreamed to visit Egypt since I was a child and after covid hit it focused my mind to make it happen. Navin was recommended to me by a friend and by god I wasn’t disappointed. Navin and her team are awesome and a treasure to Egypt. Navin is qualified Egyptologist who knows all the characters in the scene which meant getting access to areas and spending extra time at sacred sites where other tourists were ushered away. Ebrahim was a caring and knowledgeable guide. These appear to be hard to find in Egypt, would definitely recommend. Plus, he knows the best photo spots.

Nevin the Tour Queen

Nevin is the Tour Queen of Cairo!! We only had one day in Cario, solely to breathe in the Egyptian culture, visit the great pyramids and discover more about the ancient history. Nevin was our glowing Egyptian guide, friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and popular with the locals - which is super handy when finding hidden gems that tourists would find hard or near impossible to discover alone. Nevin went above and beyond from the very start. Easy to communicate with via what’s app and was happy to accommodate all our ideas for our trip (even at short notice). Nevin and her EXCELLENT driver George collected us from our hotel. I say excellent as the driving in Cairo is nothing short of insane. He was there to collect us at every stop, safely navigating us through the chaotic roads and picking us up was never an issue and he was also very knowledgable. They found us the best local on-the-go cuisines keeping us fed and hydrated during the day. We are both vegetarian and this wasn’t a problem at all, taameya is a must! We got everything we wanted and more from our day in Cairo, visiting all the sites we asked and MORE. Nevin’s English is perfect (she used to live in England). Conversation flowed all day and her in-site to the history was brilliant. Navin is clearly well liked in Cairo, her happy energy makes her well known with locals, being with her was like having a golden ticket. Local tradesman didn’t harass for business but helped us with photos and seeing more sites. After meeting Navin and George we would like to return for a longer trip as we now have more we would like to see, following our short trip and would only book with them, 100% recommend. We went to see the archeological sites and pyramids in Saqqara and Memphis and a tour through coptic Cairo. Our guide, Nevin, is extremely knowledgeable and has the contacts to make the most out of the experience. To top the experience, we had fantastic koshary from a local restaurant. The tours are worth every cent of the price
