Our tour of the pyramids in Giza, Memphis, and Saqqara was led by Mo, an Egyptologist who grew up in Giza. His expertise, and passion for Egyptian history made our trip extra special. And because he grew up frequenting these sites, he was able to both efficiently navigate us through main tourist path and also explore hidden gems that are off the beaten track. The tour was thoughtfully organized, ensuring we could experience the history and splendor of these ancient sites without the burden of excessive walking, which our older bones appreciated. Lunch at the BBQ place was also a real treat. Not only was the food and service great but the restaurant was also beautiful. Driver Haitham added to our comfort and enjoyment of this tour with his clean car and smooth driving across all locations. I typically get car sick but felt perfectly OK all day in Haitham's car. I highly recommend you book this comprehensive tour if you're looking to visit these locations. And if you do, ask specifically for Mo and Haitham.

Exactly the tour we hoped for 👏

My partner and I were looking for a perfect day tour to highlight the history and locations of Cairo during our first stay in Egypt. After much research we gave Royal Egyptian Tours the go and were very glad we did. We were picked up on time by the A-team … Boogie (our guide) & Haitham (our driver) on time and made it to all the spots on our tour and lunch without feeling at all rushed. Boogie delivered rich historical details and knowledge of our destinations throughout the day with a attentive attitude and friendly smile. This also included great advice to maximise the best value activities and checking with us about optional experiences without being pushy. The lunch was delicious and ride was pleasant in a nice clean car. Our favourite place on the tour was Saqqara including a few hidden gems there of Boogie’s favourites. Overall a great experience for us and definitely recommend for anyone visiting Egypt for the first time or wanting to make the most of ancient Egypt in Cairo for a day.

Entertaining, educational tour of Egypt

Sugar Queen gave us a really memorable day. Most definitely knowledgeable within the realms of Egyptology and didn’t rush us. We were taken by private car (which was really nice) to various locations and also explained the history and thoughts behind the stories of Egyptian Pharaoh’s and Kings. Would definitely recommend her to anyone for an educational and entertaining day x

Collect them all in one day

Experience all pyramids in one day, in a cozy. We got a thorough explanation of ancient egyptian history chronologically. We had time at every pyramid to go in if we wanted to. The lunch was absolutely amazing.

Amira was my tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and absolutely amazing. She made my experience all the more memorable and also gave me great advice on which options I should take while deciding whether to enter the pyramids or take a camel ride, what to look out for while bartering with locals with curios and general advice while exploring Cairo. We had extra time in between sites and was able to visit the Papyrus shop (highly recommend) This was the first time back to Cairo in 25 years and I could not have had a better time while on tour. Pyramids Tour

The day trip to see the pyramids in Giza and Saqqara is worth doing. Our guide for the Camel ride was a joyful man. You won't get bored, he's funny. This trip also included a visit to Memphis where we saw the gigantic statue of King Remesses II. As always, Mr Boogie (Muhammad) from Royal Egypt Tours was always with us guiding us all the way and giving us a lot of information about the pyramids. Royal Egypt Tours is highly recommended .

A no brainer, trust them.

We booked the tour last minute and everything was well organized through WhatsApp. We asked to get Sugar Queen as our guide as she has so many good reviews and I understand why. She is dynamic, funny and passionate. She knows when go give information and when to give us time to explore and take pictures. We also book the camel ride which was amazing, it's a great experience to camel ride so close to the pyramids and we have amazing pictures. Our driver was also very polite and knew how to properly drive in Cairo chaos. We will definitely recommend Egypt royal tour and book again with them if we come back.

Was very imformative tour, Hala aka sugarqueen is very knowledgeable and took us to Saggara, Giza pyramids, camel/ horse carriage ride, and sphinx. If you would like to tour the Giza extra $20 US dollars, its well worth the experience. Lunch included was really worth your time.

Great experience! Was traveling alone and Hala (aka the sugar queen) provided great service and strong insights into what the background and historical story of the pryamids. Highly recommend and suggest you use her for other tours, such as Cairo city tour and the port City of Alexandria!

archaeologist guide

the garden was very good. very funny to have a guide who has studied archeology to then become a guide. he showed a lot about the various things and could read hieroglyphs on the walls and statues we visited.

We were lucky enough to have two full days with the Sugar Queen (Hala). Day one was the Giza plateau, Sakkara and Memphis. The information flow just kept on coming, it was amazing. The trip would have been nothing like as interesting without Hala's input. Would recommend without hesitation.

Ancient Sites around Cairo, Greatest Hits

This was a great way to see some of the greatest hits of the ancient sites around Cairo (Giza pyramids, Sakkara, Memphis). Muhamad was a friendly, knowledgeable guide, giving us all the explanations around sites, he was flexible and accommodating with any requests we had. He also helped us out with photos. The highlight was the horse carriage ride around the pyramids, Sakkara and Memphis were awesome too. Visits to the Papyrus/Perfume places depends on your interest, lunch was adequate. We did do a second tour with Muhamad the next day as well!

Fantastic and a fun tour guide

When we went to Egypt in November 2019 (not 2920), a couple of months before the whole world went COVID-crazy, we organised most of the travelling between Giza and Aswan, and then back to Luxor and Cairo. We booked everything in advance: the international and internal flights, the train journey on the sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan, the 4-day cruise on the Nile from Aswan to Luxor, and we booked quite a few trips to see some of the wonders of Egypt. What we hadn't planned for though, was a chance to see the pyramids at Memphis and Saqqara. We are SO pleased that we went. The step pyramid was, unfortunately, still closed at this point, but they had opened the bent pyramid just a few months before, and it was great that we were able to go in it. The whole day tour was well worth the money. First of all, it wouldn't have been as good as it was without Hala Ahmed being our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, extremely friendly with us and other people she met on the trip, and she was a bundle of fun. She has a wonderful personality and a good nature, and if you get Hala on your trip, you have dropped lucky.

Amazing experience in Cairo

Amazing experience, our guide Abdo was excellent, he told us all about the stories of the pyramids and the history about Egypt and the ancient gods. Lunch was at a very nice restaurant and we still had time to see how papyrus is made. I recommend it to everyone!
