We started the day with the nicest tow guys in Eygpt, we took off and i can’t tell what amazing trip it was and he took us everywhere. And also more importantly the adventures it was spectacular. Our tour is only 4 hours but he gave us 2 extra with out any extra fees. Thank you guys and until next time.

Best Pyramids tour

Our trip to Cairo was magnificent due to Mustafa’s guiding and Ahmed great skills driving us everywhere. They made our dream come true finally after many years . Mustafa is a very knowledgeable guide and excellent Photographer too , helped us catch the best memories in Egypt next to Pyramids. Highly recommended!! 10 out of 10!!

The trip I dreamt of!!

I've always wanted to come to Egypt, só I decides finally with my friend to make my deram come true. And it was the best decision i've ever made! Day Trip - CGT Tours

Mustafa and Ahmed were brilliant! A truly amazing day and experience. I managed to fit everything In that I wanted to I.e. Saqqara, Memphis, The Pyramids and The Sphinx, whilst having the pleasure of visiting local businesses and learning more about the local culture. We visited a carpet making school, a local fragrance making business, an art gallery as well as a jewellery store. All of these shops invite you in, offer you complimentary drinks and show you the process of their own individual crafts. Mustafa, is really educational, friendly, extremely helpful throughout the whole day and he is skilled on the camera, taking photos/videos plus assisted with all questions throughout the tour, whether it be historical or current themes, plus we had a good laugh together :)! Highly recommend!

Great tour guide

We had a delightful Egyptian tour with our guide Mustafa. He is very cheerful and helpful. Besides being someone you can make friends with in Cairo, he also provides great recommendations and guidance. Highly recommended!

Driver and guide were very good.... Really enjoyable day trip. Hastless . Give the papyrus and carpet shop a skip though! Camel ride is good fun.

Enjoyable day tour to see the sights

Friendly, guide and driver...enjoyable experience and definitely recommended...i would skip the carpet school though. Its a sales pitch but interesting seeing the rugs being handmade. The camel ride is good fun but hold on tight 😅

On our bucket list

Kairo and the pyramids were our ticking bucket list moment. We have waiting this moment quite long to see one of wonders of the world. The pyramids were way bigger than we imagined and even harder to try to understand how they were built so long ago. There was the option to ride camels. We really enjoyed the whole day! Thank you the stunnung experiences! A private guide is key to a comfortable and informative experience.

Amazing day in Cairo

Truly a dream

I had a great day with Mustafa as my guide and Ahmed driving us safely around. I felt well taken care of and attended to. Mustafa shared his knowledge with me throughout the day and the passion for what he does really shined through. The day really was a dream!

A great day tour for Cairo Pyramids

Mustafa did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable. The tour was well planned out, covering 3 different sites. Each stop was the right amount of time.

Wonderful experience at the Great Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza!

We had such a lovely experience with our tour guide Mustafa and the driver Mohamed. They made us feel welcomed and at ease. Mustafa spoke English very well and was quite knowledgeable about the sites. The views on the trip were amazing and we have such wonderful pictures!

Great guide and a great experience

Mustafa who was our guide is great, I have used him for about 5 day trips and today and yesterday was 2 of those days. This is my second Egypt trip and the first thing I organised was his time for these 2 days. He will take the time to make sure you have a good time. Fluent in english and is highly recommend.

Cairo in Three Days

We had an interesting 3 day tour of Cairo, covered a lot of the major sites, pyramids, sphinxes, a carpet factory, essential oils place, parchment demo and manufacturing. Mustafa and our driver got us around this crazy city relatively effortlessly, I can’t imagine doing a Cairo tour without both a tour guide and a driver because there’s NO place to park so definitely make that a choice for your tour. Mustafa took us to 2 very local, tiny restaurants for lunches and they were great. A favorite part of the tour was seeing several great mosques but 4 was one too many. They are beautiful, you can go all the way in and Mustafa added a lot of the religious context to the visits.

Best 3 days in Cairo

This was my first time visiting the Middle East (by myself) and I wanted to make sure that I saw everything that I could without having to go in a group of strangers and waiting around as you do in big groups. I only had three days and wanted to make the most of it. CGT made booking a private driver and personal guide SUPER EASY, answered all of my questions prior to arrival, asked me what I wanted to see and not push me into typical tourist spots. I was at ease about traveling with Mohammed (driver) and guide (Mustafa). The airport pick up was easy and CGT was ALWAYS in communication. I felt safe, my belongings were secure while I explored and the things that I did were well worth the money as we went on TONS of adventures. I also love that we stopped at some local favorites. My favorite was the papyrus store. I am not usually one to beinterested in weaving or learning about essences BUT I learned so much about these trades that I highly recommend you making those part of your itinerary. I enjoyed some local cuisine, Mustafa is an excellent photographer (as a content creator this was very important) and seeing the city through his eyes was quite the best class you could have. He is patient, funny and just all around the best guide so dont bother booking any other company! I can't wait to come back with my daughter!!

We spent an amazing day with Mustafa (guide) and Mohammed (driver). They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They even took us to a couple of other shops that were of interest. Having them as our guide and driver made it exrremely enjoyable and at our speed. We (late 20s, male and female American couple) felt safe and taken care of the whole time. I highly recommend them!

The best way to see Cairo!

An absolutely fantastic experience! Mustafa is the best guide and Mohammed is a very skilled driver! If you were only in Cairo for 1 day, this is the tour to do!

Our day in Cairo

We had a fabulous day in Cairo touring with CGT and our guide Mustafa. From beginning to end we couldn't have asked for anything more. We had great communications with CGT and Mustafa letting us know all of the details of our private tour with them. They communicated via email and then our guide Mustafa contacted me on Whatsapp to let me know our meeting point and times. When we arrived at our meeting point he and our driver for the day were anxiously awaiting us. This was our first visit to Cairo and we weren't sure what to expect but we had great hopes for the day and we weren't let down. We first went to the Great Pyramids where we were told a lot of great history about them. Next it was off to ride a camel! Before we went to a nice lunch we visited the Sphinx. Our lunch spot was amazing with great food and views of the pyramids. Next on the list for us was a trip to Memphis and Sakkara. At the conclusion of this part of the day we were taken back to our hotel for a few hours before the last portion of our day started with a night time visit to the Khan El Kalili Bazaar. It started raining just before we arrived but we didn't let that ruin our visit. Mustafa continued to explain the different areas of the market. Our visit was during Ramadan so during the day some places were closed, but it didn't effect the tourist areas. We specifically requested the market visit at night after "breaking the fast" because we heard it was a magical time in the city and it was for sure. We couldn't have asked for anything more from our fabulous guide Mustafa and CGT. I would not hesitate to book them again for future visits or to send my clients to them.

Mustafa and driver Mustafa both are the greatest . Mustafa the Egyptologist is an excellent guide, with amazing knowledge of all the sights we visited.He is humble and will answer all your questions.

Wonderful!

The trip is extraordinary, including: Sakkara, Memphis, several shops (carpets, papyrus, perfumes) and the Giza complex. The guide, Mustafa, was very acknowledgeable and friendly. Pick-up and drop-off are flexible, depending on the request. If possible, a longer stay at Giza should be requested. It really is a nice place to visit, relax and take photos.

Highly recommend

Our trip to Giza, Sakkara and Memphis was great! We booked through viator and we got so much more than expected for that price! As we were a party of 4, we got a van, a driver and a guide- Mustafa. We truly enjoyed the trip, Mustafa was very knowledgeable, telling storries and myths about everything. We even filled the missing parts as the day earlier we visited Egyptian museum on our own. Mustafa was also funny and made us laught lots of times, he completelly adjusted to us stopping by in a local shop to take snacks, taking photos of us. Yes, on this tour we also ended in 3 factories- carpet, papirus and perfume. Lets face it to have a whole day tour for 15$? But we loved their presentations and noone forced us to buy anything there. We also got a free water included in this tour. Mustafa arranged a camel ride for us for a reasonable price. If you are considering this tour- this is definitelly yes as it will save you money, energy, noone will cheat on you( as we had this experience here too) and you will see and learn a lot.

Memorable tour to Cairo

On our day trip to Cairo, we arrived early in the morning in the airport, where we met our guide, Mostafa, and our driver. Because there was still time until the Egyptian Museum was open, we stopped in a few other important places in Cairo. Then we visited the museum and the Giza Plateau. Throughout the tour, Mostafa presented consistent information in a very good English, at the same time being very attentive, friendly and patient with us. He was also our photographer. Advice for improvement: when welcoming clients in the airport, a sign with their names will help things run smoother.

5 star tour

Mustafa, our guide was excellent, he was very attentive and catered to all our needs. The tour at the Egyptian museum was very informative and we were not rushed through the experience of visiting the pyramids and the sphynx. Muhammed our driver was also very attentive and was there when we needed. I recommend and would definitely do it again.

Made our trip in Cairo

Honestly it was an incredible experience, our guide Mostafa was extremely knowledgeable, super friendly and our driver was very accommodating. Would highly recommend this group, guide and driver.

Mostafa Nabil Is an amazing guide

We booked a day trip to the Pyramids and we’re lucky to have Mostafa Nabil as our guide. From the moment he picked us up, everything ran smooth. Mostafa was an amazing guide, knowledgeable and entertaining. We spent most of the day laughing like we were old friends. He took our interests into consideration and even allowed us some freedom to decide where we’d like to spend more time. It was a great day and we left feeling like we had made a new friend.

Amazing tours!!

An exceptional tour. Mustafa and Mohamed were really good and patient with us. They took us to the Pyramids then on a camel ride after which we saw the Sphinx and a tour of the shops. To end on a high note we went for a quad ride. They also took lots of beautiful photos to better remember this experience. Super recommended tour, a must do!

Beste gids ooit!! Cairo.....

Gezocht en gevonden…. Wij hebben CGT Egypt via Tripadvisor gevonden en hebben besloten met deze firma in zee te gaan omdat ze hele goede recensies hadden. Het contact verliep vanaf de eerste E-Mail heel soepel en kregen snel antwoord op alle vragen en uit deze mail wisseling kregen we al meteen een heel goed gevoel. Mustafa is echt te vertrouwen en heel behulpzaam geweest op alle fronten! Vanaf het eerste moment bij de ontmoeting in de lobby van het hotel hadden we meteen een klik. Mustafa en zijn chauffeur waren altijd op tijd. Deze jongeman/gids heeft een prettige manier van vertellen en spreekt heel goed engels, heeft humor en veel kennis van Egypte die van onschatbare waarde is en weet zijn enthousiasme ook over te brengen op zijn klanten, dus ook op ons 😊 Wij hebben 3 geweldige dagen gehad met hem en zijn chauffeur en de volgende Hot Spots met hem bezocht: de Pyramides in Gizeh, Sakkara, is een prachtige tempel en de eerste Pyramides ooit gebouwd en een echte aanrader! Memphis, het oude Museum, de citadel en de bazaar. Alle sites waren zeer de moeite waard maar Sakkara vonden wij het meest indrukwekkend en is echt een must see! Kortom, zoek niet verder maar boek bij Mustafa / CGT Egypt en wij weten zeker dat ook jullie een geweldige ervaring beleven en goed geïnformeerd worden.
