Such a wonderful tour! our guide Mido was knowledgeable and took good care of us on the tour. our driver, gogo, was great as well! we even stopped for a delicious lunch after the tour. I definitely recommend this tour.

Great tour

Great host, very punctual. Goes at your own pace. Very detailed knowledge. He knows how to get the best out of the day. For example buying pyramid tickets online which saved at least a hour, as queues are very long

Our group came from California to explore the area and learn about the history of Giza pyramids, camel rídes with photos and Saqqara. Mido was fantastic making sure we saw everything we wanted to and going in detail, answering questions on all the sites. Must do tour!

Must do tour while you’re in Egypt! Book a tour to see the pyramids instead of just seeing them on your own. Mido was great and informative in explaining ancient Egyptian culture and making connections to the middle and new kingdoms as well. He was very responsive to all questions and flexible as well. His English was very easy to understand. The driver was great too (unfortunately, we don’t remember his name), but he was very friendly and always made sure we were very comfortable. This is the best way to make use of time, learn history and see both the Giza and Saqqara complexes!

I had a great time exploring one of the earliest civilizations and being photographed there. Being transported in a private vehicle and photographed at key points is a special experience. Hosts were very communicative and understanding. The final results of the photographs are unique and beautiful.”

Custom friendly knowledgeable

Absolute amazing tour. We had just a quick 24 hour layover in Cairo and this was perfect. Our guide, Mido, sent a car to our hotel to pick us up, then we went to the pyramids and sphinx. Rode camels in the desert, visited a local aromatherapy and papyrus shop and lunch. We asked to end early because of jet lag, and our guide was flexible and understanding- he suggested mellower activities to match our energy. Highly recommend!

She made time pass so quickly with her storytelling and her approach to the tour. Hajar gave me so many tips and so many places to visit and was open to any suggestions I made. She is also a very good photographer who will go above and beyond to take good pictures of you. Gogo also the driver was so nice and patient. Every Amon Ra tour has its own charm

After our first tour, we directly booked another three tours with Mido. We were especially impressed with the excellent communication before and during the tours, the comfort, the flexibility of the tour guides and the professional / historical know-how of some of the tour guides. If you are particularly interested in a subject, let them know and feel free to ask questions! We had the chance to experience Cairo and Giza with three different tour guides and each one taught us about the culture and history of Egypt in their own unique way. The tour guides made our trip a truly memorable and educational experience. Keep in mind that there are entrance fees in some places (pyramids, museums) which are not included in the tour, as stated by Mido. For this we recommend that you have cash with you.

A life experience

The pyramid and the tombs was very exciting...Our tour guys was very informative of the history regarding the Egyptians...The hike in the desert was remarkable riding the ATV's..We Visited the largest library in Alexandre and gained so much knowledge...Man back in the days, there were some power Kings & Queens...Another part of history that was not taken away from the biblical was Mary traveling 4 years across the sea on foot with a donkey just gave me goose bumps and to know that scientists is still conducting research where the water is coming from in the Christian church...EGYPT has so much history...I have a great understanding of the Oils and what they are used for...Thank You so much for the education Milow

Short trip to Cairo

Going to pyramids was a very special experience. Mido has a very good team. My trip advisor was Amany, she is such a kind person and she took me to this trip at 7:00 am in the morning because I was leaving that day at 5:00 pm to the airport. She took me to sightsee 5 different places so I can cover the whole experience in one day. She also made me visit great local shops, ate some excellent local food. She made sure that I enjoy my time and get what I want from this trip. Mido was also checking if everything going smooth. My visit to Cairo was really short but they made sure that I visit most of the attraction places. It was a great time to spend before leaving!!”

A great morning to see The Great Pyramids

We had a really great experience with our tour guide Mido, and also our driver Gugu (I hope I'm spelling that right). The pickup and drop off was very smooth and Gugu pointed out important sights along the way and was very friendly! Our tour around the pyramids was incredible, it was amazing to learn and hear some really interesting facts and stories about their history from Mido. We also got some great photo shots from Mido as we toured around the site of the pyramids. The camel ride was a major highlight! We also visited a few local shops later on in the tour, with some very friendly hosts explaining their various crafts, such as perfumes and papyrus paper. I think we did the half-day tour option, but all in all, it was a really great morning, would highly recommend you do the same!

Giza vacation

Best trip ever! I loved every aspect. The sites and the food was great. Ill definitely go back and bring more people next time. I would love more time at the sites, so i recommend spacing things out for that purpose, if you're in to the scholarship.

I had a great day with Mido. He was very accommodating and flexible throughout the day. We went to the pyramids, saw the creation of papyrus papers, and to the museum to watch mummies

Fun! Not long enough

My friends and I only got to experience Mido one day bc our time in Egypt was very short but we had a great time. We visited the Giza Pyramids and the Papyrus Musuem and the oil shop which was my favorite. I would suggest not trading your money to Egyptian pound bc all of the places he takes you to take Visa credit card. The oil shop was my favorite, I would definitely suggest keeping some space open in your luggage to bring back some good authentic Egyptian oil. Other than that Mido was great, very knowledgeable. He connected us with a photographer for the pyramids who was great as well. The next time we go to Egypt we will like to book with him again!

Pyramids and City Tour

Mido was an awesome tour guide! We started with a local homemade breakfast made in the Airbnb. The driver made things super easy to get around and we were able to see the country’s history and its lasting effects on modern day life. Mido knew all the ins and outs and planned a very efficient day, hitting a ton of sight seeing spots and hit all the main points.

Really really fun! Got to see the pyramids and the Egyptian museum and got awesome information from our guide Mido, who spoke great English and was very kind and fun. We also got to visit the shops of and learn about some of Egypt’s famous high-quality industries like cotton, papyrus, and naturally pressed oils.

Tour of the Pyramids and National museum of Egyptian civilization

We were 4 colleagues from different countries, who spent our day off, to visit the pyramids and the National museum of Egyptian civilization. We asked for a guide who could speak Italian and English, and got a very friendly and knowledgeable guide who had vast knowledge that he shared with us. He repeated everything in both languages, and was very engaged the whole time. We were picked up at our hotel, and driven to the different sites. There's some distance between the different sites within the pyramids compound, but that was no problem because the driver had access within the site, so we were able to go between the sites very efficiently. Our driver was also very friendly and funny. We had a great day.
