Best Day in Egypt

It was without a doubt our best tour of our time in Egypt. Our tour guide Hassan was very polite and helpful and we had a really great time . I would for sure recommend it to anyone who would like a small adventure in the desert.

Great and Unique Adventure in the Desert

This was a really fun experience. It is a bit of a drive to the park but the experience was well worth it. Along the way we passed through a town/village which was quite interesting to see how the locals truly live away from a big city like Cairo. The waterfalls were lovely and the opportunities for pictures were extraordinary. Our guide did a great job. We were picked up promptly at the hotel. The sand boarding was a new and novel experience as was riding the sand dunes and of course the camels. The lunch experience was unique and the food was quite good. This was a truly fun experience that I would highly recommend. It exposes you to areas that you don't typically see on the regular Egypt tourist haunts.

Siwa trip. The best

It was an amazing experience. From the time they pick you up until it’s finished. Amn the tour manager was always there tending to all your needs. Whatever you ask he will do. You are the boss here. The whole trip was beautiful. The old city. The museum. The salt lake. The Safari. Sleeping under the starts. The oasis. The food. Everything was perfect. The salt lake was one of the highlights of this trip. Very unique and wonderful. Its like a magical paradise. The safari what an amazing experience. Recommend this whole trip. Natural beauty and adventure in Egypt

Professional company that provided a great day tour option to get out of the city and see a more remote area of Egypt. We loved the sand-boarding on the dunes and the views from the Mountains. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and laid back. Advice for other travelers - if smoke bothers you, you may want to request a non-smoking guide as it is common in Egypt. Also, swimming was not permitted. I’m not sure if it was the time of year as other reviewers seem to have enjoyed swimming in the lake, so please inquire before booking if this is important to you.

Exhilarating day trip in Egypt

We had a wonderful time and our guides were brilliant. We were not rushed and could take our time around the pyramids and Sphinx. Rasha our guide around the pyramids was knowledgeable and very experienced - it made the trip feel unique and personal. Our guide for the desert, Amn, was incredibly professional and thoughtful, and again allowed us to go at our own pace while ensuring we got the most out of our time. He also was very knowledgeable and well connected with the sites and people there. Dune basking, rowing on the lakes, sand boarding, and the striking in beautiful “magic lake” were all an incredible and exhilarating experience. Overall, for us, having personal guides were the perfect way to see the sites, we were very well taken care of, the food was good (with delicious fresh fruits), we felt safe and supported at all times.

Ivan's Great Adventure

This was a great way to see the real side of Egypt and do things a typical tourist level tour does. We did a camel ride and experienced the culture, sites and food outside the typical tourist agenda. Ivan the guide was great and I recommend this tour adventure.

Unique Egypt Experience with camel and sand dune rides

We went today and this was a wonderful experience. I was a little concerned about safety due to the current unrest in nearby regions but it turns out that the concern was unfounded. We felt safe in Cairo and safe throughout the excursion. There was never cause for concern. Our guide Ivan was great. He picked us up promptly and we took off for Wadi El Rayyan Park. Along the way we saw the Pyramids in the distance and Ivan gave us many details about the area along the route. En route we travelled through a small town that gave us an idea of how the people there live. It was shopping day there where all the people go to shop once a week and looked like a giant farmers market. We went on and stopped before we got to the park to switch to the 4x4 Land cruiser and the competent and safe driver who accompanied it. We got to the park and viewed many sites. Ivan gave us great background and discussion about the sites along with answering all our questions. We got to go on the camel ride which was a high point for me. Our terrific driver also took us off road up and down many sand dunes. We also tried out sand boarding which was a lot of fun. We ended up at the Bedouin Camp which was a unique experience with enjoyable food. After that we headed home. The whole day took about 9 hours and introduced us to a lot of experiences that you don't get on the mainstream touristy things typically done in Egypt. I highly recommend the experience and have the utmost confidence in Ivan.

Amazing experience!

The trip surpassed my expectations! It was a great way to see more of Egypt from Cairo. All of the activities went really well and Muhammad was an excellent tour leader!

Highly Recommended

Mohammed & Mohammed were my guides for the day and it was a wonderful day!! The lakes are truly special, and 4x4ing in the sand is great fun. The camel ride was a first to me, and the lunch in the tent was delicious. I would have appreciated more narrative but I had a very good time anyway.

Lovely escape from chaos of Cairo

Definitely a great escape away from the chaos of Cairo. The drive is about 2 hours away but comfortable. The visit takes place in Wadi el Rayan national park and is packed with activities, but never felt rushed. We were even able to depart in time to return to Cairo by 4pm to accommodate a group trying to make a flight. Lovely weather but do recommend going in cooler months. So much fun and for sure would do again.

Unforgettable Experience in Cairo

Without doubt, this trip is the best thing we have ever done in Cairo! The scenery of the Egyptian desert was magnificent and we had fun camel riding and sand-boarding during the trip. Tasty lunch at the Bedouin camp was a great way to end the tour. Our tour guide, Abdullah, was extremely good and for that he deserves a special mention. Abdullah had a great personality, honest, and accommodating to our request. All respect for Abdullah who did a great job there; a true example of an excellent tour guide! Many thanks to Abdullah and I recommend this trip to everyone!

Amazing day in the desert

Very nice experience in the desert. We had good time visiting waterfalls, riding camels and having excellent lunch at the Bedouin camp. On the top, the drive on the dunes with Sayeed, the best desert driver ever and the sandboarding session, one of the funniest experience we have done so far. Many many thanks to Ahmed, the best Egyptian guide.

Best of authentic Egypt in 8 hours.

It was just perfect. Pick up at the hotel by the driver. Trip to the place we changed to the 4-wheel drive car. Great driver of the 4WD car. A lot of fun at the lake, at the dunes, sandboarding, in the desert tour (up and down), climbing on the desert “mountains”, riding on the camels, great lunch in the camp and back to the hotel in time. Very memorable for us all. in short, fantastic.

A nice tour

It was an amazing tour. The sand boarding was definitely the highlight for the kids. The camel ride a close second. The dune bashing was exciting although it didn’t happen for too long and our tour guide Abdul was good and patient all through.

Amazing views, fun, and food

Wonderful experience! Abdalla was a great guide who spoke good English and was very kind. Seamless pickup and ride to the desert (almost 2 hours, but great views of the country, small villages, and desert). Every part of this tour came as advertised, and were even more beautiful and more fun than we'd hoped! Well worth your money for such a once in a lifetime experience with a great guide and driver.

Fun time with wonderful people

My guide Yossef arrived to pick me up from the hotel on time, his driving was impeccable regardless all the chaos on roads in Cairo, I felt as safe as one can be while commuting in Egypt. You get to see the other side of Egypt on the journey to Wadi El Rayan, the farming communities, people transporting all sorts of things on donkeys, villages with people just sitting around and socialising by the side of the road. The contract of luxury hotels and modern buildings in Cairo vs the rubbish and building materials scattered all over the place. I was overwhelmed with the sights even before we arrived at the destination. I was hoping that the tour is going to be shared with other tourists as I was travelling on my own that day, but looks like they had no other bookings on this occasion. But Yossef and the 4*4 driver Salih (I hope I memorised his name correctly) were extremely friendly and made me feel at ease. The Wadi El Rayan is beautiful and I am very glad I made the effort to see it. The Magic lake is very special (I wish I had taken my swimming gear with me), I did’t expect the water to be this clear! Dune bashing was a lot of fun (I am sooo impressed with Salish’s driving skills) as was the sand boarding experience (even though I didn’t do so well as I was worried about sustaining an injury at the beginning of my holiday). I would recommend this trip and would be even tempted to do it again if I happen to be in the area. A few things I would like to mention to people considering booking this trip: I was informed that my hotel was “was outside their area” even though it’s right next to Cairo airport (I suspect if your hotel isn’t on their list that means that you are going to be subjected to additional charges), I been charged additional 20 USD. At Bedouin camp there were a lot of flies, which made the meal time not so enjoyable (grab an insect repellent, hopefully it’s going to help), there are no changing facilities next to the magic lake, so if you want to have a swim it might be worth putting your swim gear on during the stop at the waterfalls. After that you can get changed back into dry clothes at the Bedouin camp.

Great day out

We had a very good time 4x4ing in the desert with our guide Joseph and driver. Sand boarding was good fun and seeing all the desert had to offer. The waterfalls were also a added bonus.

Best Trip in Kairo !

I was fortunate to take a trip to the fascinating desert of Fayoum, and my experience was simply breathtaking. This journey was not just a visual delight for the senses, but also an exploration of Egypt's history and nature. What made this experience particularly unforgettable was our exceptional guide, Ibrahim. Our journey began early in the morning. We were picked up directly from the hotel, and during the drive, Ibrahim provided us with a wealth of information about Egypt and the desert. Ibrahim was a true gem; he always took breaks when we needed them, bought us water and snacks, and we were thoroughly satisfied. Initially, we drove to the waterfalls, explored them, and received all the necessary information. Then, we enjoyed a delightful camel ride. Later, we drove through the sand dunes by car. At every dune, there were shouts of "Yallah" :D. We made a stop at a large dune to try sandboarding. Since we were the only guests, Ibrahim gave us as much time as possible, allowing me to slide down the dune multiple times (the climb was very exhausting for me, but they patiently waited for me). The best part of this trip was being in a very small group and having endless time to take photos – Ibrahim also acted as our photographer :). Afterward, we went to the oasis, where we had the opportunity to ride horses and enjoy a delicious meal. I wholeheartedly recommend this excursion, as you experience many attractions in a single day, and Ibrahim, our guide, fulfilled all our wishes. His passion for the desert and its secrets was contagious. With every step, he told us about the hidden oases, the fascinating rock formations, and the traces of ancient civilizations that once flourished here. If you ever have the opportunity to explore this amazing desert, I strongly urge you to do so with such a dedicated and knowledgeable guide like Ibrahim. It will be a journey you will carry in your heart forever.

Amazing Experience with Amazing People

The experience is amazing. From the desert oasis and waterfalls to the dunes and rock formations - this is natural beauty that you don't get to see every day, and often wouldn't expect in a desert like this. You get to see and do so much in a single day it's well worth the price of admission. But the thing that made it truly special was our tour guide Aimn. He was absolutely incredible. He made us feel at home in a country we hadn't been able to see in 15 years. We learned so much and saw so many things during this trip. He's a knowledgeable, kind, and very fun person to be around. And our 4x4 driver Ali was awesome to hang out with as well! Thank you again for the incredible day :)

Fun day trip from Cairo

We had so much fun on our day trip to Wadi Elrayon and would recommend everyone to book this tour if you have a spare day in Cairo. Our tour guide and driver were very kind and made us feel very looked after. We have so many beautiful photos and memories from this trip. It was our first time sand boarding which was our highlight along with our lunch at the bedouin camp. They can cater for vegetarians also.

Safe, Fun, and Adventurous Trip Through the Desert

My family and I went on this tour and had an amazing time! Our tour guide, Ibrahim, was a huge highlight. He was very friendly, kind, and made us feel safe the entire trip. His English was very good and he taught us a lot about living in Cairo and local customs. We were picked up from our hotel in a nice sized car that had AC and fit all three of us in the back. We then drove about two hours to the national park. Along the way, you will encounter stops by the police to check license and registration. It is normal to be pulled aside to ask further questions. The police dealt with our tour guide and did not speak to us, but they also seemed very friendly. Our guide picked up water and snacks for us as well! You do a driver and car switch in a nearby town, which is normal. You need to switch to a car that can withstand driving in the sand! Both drivers were extremely friendly, even though they did not speak much English. They showed us their music and were very happy and nice. The first stop is the waterfall and small town, where you can take pictures and enjoy the sights. There you can also take a camel ride along the water and there is an option to take a boat ride if you want to get out on the water. All of the locals were very kind to us. Then, we went off roading in our car, which was very fun and exhilarating driving over the large sand dunes. You will make several stops to see different lakes and viewpoints. You can even swim in one body of water, which had crystal blue water. You make a stop for sand boarding, on smooth sand with music blasting. It’s a very fun time and actually not too hard to do (my 56 year old mom did it)! The final stop is for lunch at a desert campsite. Again, the locals were super nice and the food was tasty (chicken, rice, veggies, tea). You then drive home which takes around 2 hours and you get back around 6-7pm. There were lots of opportunities to tip the locals, children, and those serving you along the way, so I would recommend bringing a variety of Egyptian Pounds in cash to have ready to spend! I don’t think tipping is always necessary, as they often tried to refuse our tip, but if you insist they will eventually accept and it is a very nice thing to do!

Great desert experience

Thank you Ibra for a perfect desert experience. It was a rather last minute call to join but easily arranged. Super pick up from the hotel with an AC van. Had a great time on the waterfalls and bashing the dunes with the 4x4. Everyone went out of his way to make it enjoyable. Stopped for a great Bedouin lunch along the way. And got dropped of safely back at the hotel. Excellent way to spend the day if you have seen the sights in Caïro.

Wonderful Experience with Amazing Guide

We had an amazing time with Ibrahem! He was great communicating our plan for the day and made sure we were hydrated throughout the day. He was very accommodating to our needs and even took great pictures of us. The sand boarding was so much fun and he helped us when needed! The lunch was a great experience as well and the food was delicious! Ibrahem made us feel like we were just having a fun day with a friend. He made my birthday incredibly special! Safari was really nice...

Safari was really nice but it was a very long journey from Cairo/Giza to the desert and back. I was disappointed by the fact that we paid for the camel ride but when we arrived it was uncertain whether there will be any camels on the side. Food was nice but we were rushing to eat so that we could leave on time.

It was truly and amazing experience. Everything was so smooth and delightful, views and drive through the dunes was breathtaking. Special thanks to our wonderful tour guide Ahmed, without him it wouldn't have been possible to have that much fun and amazing time... Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants desert safari experience. We were little worried with 3 year and 6 year old kids but it was so smooth and easy and the kids enjoyed the dine drive sandboarding so much it was well worth it. First part of the journey was in a very comfortable 4x4 and then 2md part through the desert was by proper land cruiser with desert tyres and all these tough terrain was like nothing for this 4x4... Amazing wonderful 👍👍👍👍 can't thank you guys (specially Ahmed and 4x4 driver) enough ....

Fantastic Fun in the desert

Ahmed was a great guide, he was fun and informative. He explained a lot about the desert and the lakes he took us to. We had a great Lunch at a camp. Fun packed day!

Our tour with Amr was a perfect day. Prompt pick up, a comfortable ride, and overall fun day trying new things. We loved sand boarding, although hiking up the hill is hard they were happy to allow us to try until we were sick of walking back up. The camel ride was a cool way to see the Oasis and the waterfall was definitely a unique site in a desert. Our bedouin guide’s 4x4 dunes ride was exhilarating and took us to beautiful spot to see the magic lake and then down for a swim and delicious lunch. 10/10 recommend this tour, do it you won’t regret it!

The guides were AMAZING!!! They literally made an already incredible adventure better than could have ever been expected!! Abdalla was such an accommodating and respectful guide and the 4x4 driver was hilarious which altogether made a memory for us that will last a lifetime!

This tour was the best tour we had in our whole stay in Egypt. They treat you so well and take good care of you. My sister and I got to see the beautiful hidden gems of Egypt. Don’t even let me get started on how fun our tour guide Ahmed was. We had a blastt.

Amazing time

Agmed was are guide he had a very good energy and personality, so did a great job taking my photos as I was solo for this excursion. It was 2hr drive from Cairo so if you don’t like long drives I wouldn’t recommend however it’s definitely a great experience, beautiful place 😎

It was an all about landscapes tour. Safari wasn't as exciting as others we had, the safari car was about to break down and some of the places we stopped at weren't that unique. Neder, the tour guide was very nice and patient with strong sense of humour and all the knowledge we needed. After all, we had a good time but if I had to do it again I wouldn't pay that much.
