Good day trip to Sakkara, Dahshur and Memphis where we visited the Step, Bent and Red Pyramids and Memphis Museum. Very good places to visit. Driver Bishoo was helpful and engaging.

Good trip to Sakkara and Dashue where we get to visit the Step, Red, Bent Pyramids. We also visited Memphis Museum which has a gigantic statue of Ramses II. Driver Bishoo was helpful, engaging and friendly.

Thorough and with lots of time and flexibility at each pyramid stop. I elected to go into each pyramid and very much enjoyed the experience. Our guide, Ahmed Salah, was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. This is a wonderful destination to visit during peak seasons as it is not as popular and well-known as Giza and the Sphinx. I you truly wish to get away from the crowds, this is a great choice, and honestly; likely more interesting.

Perfect Experience

My friend and I had an amazing experience going to the Sakkara pyramids. We both have degrees in history so we didn't need a guide and could wander around as we pleased. Tamer was amazingly patient and the perfect driver for us. He never commented when we didn't stick to the schedule and let us stay at each site as long as we wanted. The only time he called us is after we had been at the step pyramid for over two hours and he was concerned that something bad had happened. He called to make sure we were safe and not lost or something. Our exuberance meant we stayed hours longer than most of these tours take, we were basically kicked out of Sakkara at closing, and he didn't say anything about it or pressure for a tip. Tamer was just the driver we need for me and my friend to make the most of our trip and we had the most amazing experience.

Enjoyed my time at Saqqara

Driver was extremely friendly, took us to a great restaurant, and the pyramids were easy to see. The tour operator and sriver are extremely responsive through WhatsApp. Cannot reccomend enough.

Lovely day in Saqqara

It was a lovely tour with a very friendly guide and chauffeur. Good explanations of things we pass by in good English. We were given enough time to experience the sites. What I also liked is that there were options for the starting time, since we stayed at a place far away from the pick up spots so we had to travel a little beforehand. Our female guide Adlaah was very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. She is the best guide until now. Thanks for a very fine day.

Worst Day in Egipty

I had a very bad experience, wish I would have never booked this tour.. The guide didn’t guide, just let me alone walking without information. I asked for water they gave me an open half full Bottle. When buyed entrances the guide kept the change for himself. He joined sellers to charge me abusive prices as 8 dolars for a redbull and 40 dollars to take a pic with a camel - I end up negotiating for 5 dollars myself the camel pics. When I asked about the pyramids he desencoraje me “nothing to see inside” always! I looked at the others groups and wanted to cry, my dream travel became a nightmare. I wish I had my money and my time back, worst day in Egypt.

Great time for small family group seeing Dashur pyramids and Saqqara

We (myself, wife and teenage son) had a great outing with Ibrahim as our guide to Dashur and Saqqara. Good communication on day of pickup so made it easy to meet up. Ibrahim and Tamer (driver) were very friendly and happy to chat on Egyptian history as well as modern Egyptian culture. Both spoke excellent English as well. The guide made sure we saw the best of the of each site and had lots of interesting history and stories to tell. The team was flexible on the order we did the main sites as well as the side excursions like the carpet weaving school (which was actually pretty interesting). Definitely focused on being good hosts and enthusiastic about Egypt. Just be aware to not expect anything too fancy for transportation, but it will be air conditioned and will get the job done. In regards to the sites, Dashur is definitely worth a visit. Much less crowded than Giza or even Saqqara so it makes it a more interesting experience! These are very old structures and each different from what you get at Giza. Interior of the red pyramid was really cool. Saqqara also great, with the highlight for us being the tomb wall paintings.

Sakkara Step Pyramids, Memphis Old City & Dashur Red Bent pyramid

Tour started from the hotel and driver Islam came to pick up from the hotel lobby. Vehicle was in good condition and water was provide for refreshment. First we went to red pyramid and after that we saw bent pyramid. Then we visited memphis old city finally to sakkara step Pyramids. Our guide was Ehab who explained very well about the history of Egypt from ancient times. Tour was very good and recommendable. Ehab helped us to take good photographs having nice views and background drop. Finally they dropped us back and we enjoyed a lot.

Great day trip to escape the crowds in Cairo!

Great day trip with Ahmed (tour guide) and Ahmed (driver) to see Memphis and some of the quieter pyramids with less tourists. Just what we were looking for! Highlight was seeing the ‘bent’ pyramid and learning from Ahmed about the history and evolution of pyramids in Egypt. Thankyou to the team who were very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

A Dream Visit to Dahshhur and Sakkara!

My flight from Luxor to Cairo the morning of the tour was delayed, but Ehab went out of his way to try to connect with me and accommodate a new pick-up point! Ehab delivered an outstanding experience for me, in terms of historical perspective, suggested activities, helpful tips and a wonderful friendliness overall. He made certain to find out my goals for the tour and was able to exceed every one! As a consequence, I had the experience of a lifetime!!! I climbed into both the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid, in order to see the corbelled ceiling and the sacred space where the pharaoh was entombed. I got to see the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, the serdab of King Djoser and the Separeum of the Apis Bulls. In short, I had a unique experience that I would not have had any other way than through Viator. I am immensely grateful to Ehab for fulfilling me dream!

A good trip to intent yourself to touring the antiquities of Egypt.

This trip provides a good balance between seeing some wonderful ancient Egyptian tombs and artifacts — and seeing a slice of the life of modern Egyptians. Amazing to see that the Great pyramid us in the center if a bustling city. Sakkara is a fascinating site and the Tombs of Unas and Ibut are small but very interesting. Great wall carvings. We also went to a very good carpet making school and shop. Definitely worth seeing. Memphis has some wonderful sculptures including a huge limestone sculpture if Rameses Ii.

Everything was perfect....

Everything was perfect. Would recommend. Convenient way to see these historical sites without having to worry about how to get from one place to the other.

The perfect half day trip from Cairo

Alba (guide) and Assem (driver) were so incredibly kind! From the pick up to the drop off I leaned so much! I was given plenty of time to climb through pyramids or wander around the grounds. We stopped for snack part of the way though. We went for no pressure shopping to learn about carpet weaving and papyrus art. Both Alba and Assem are more than kind making sure I was comfortable temperature wise and engaging me in conversation between stops. I can not recommend them more!

Red and Bent pyramids were both super cool. Wasn't so interested in the Step pyramid and didn't like being bombarded with requests for tips at every turn there. The Memphis museum just felt like a tourist trap. My driver was very friendly and a nice guy, just wish the sights had been a little more substantive.
