My group and I had a very nice time in the trip we took from Cairo to Luxor, and the 7 day cruise from through the Nile river. Sayed Selim was our guide. He was easy to talk to, very knowledgeable of all the temples and the best part is that he helped me as the tour leader work out flexibility and last minute changes with our schedule to accommodate the needs of the group.

Safe and educational tour of Egypt

We have just completed a 12day visit to Egypt with Memphis Tours. We cannot rate them highly enough for the professionalism and care they showed to us throughout our visit. Incredible sights, excellent food, outstanding tour personnel

This was honestly the most magical trip we’ve ever experienced, thanks to Memphis Tours. We visited the full gamut of iconic historical sites, tasted a variety of outstanding foods, and met loads of friendly, helpful folk. The hotels were all top-notch as well, both facilities and staff. Not only was it incredible to be in Egypt and visit all these legendary sites, but we were extremely pleased with the way Memphis Tours made everything go so smoothly. When we landed in Cairo without our luggage we were feeling a bit lost in the airport, but then our tour manager appeared and immediately took control, sorting out the lost luggage forms and guiding us through immigration so that we didn’t have to be concerned with any of the administrative issues. This pattern repeated with every manager and guide throughout our trip: all planning concerns were handled invisibly for us so that we could relax and enjoy the vacation. We were also impressed with the way manager and guide transitions were handled, with the relevant tour representatives keeping us informed of new contacts, times, scheduled events, etc. Some of the staff suggested minor changes to the schedule, and these were always appreciated because they helped us avoid crowds or guided us to see more interesting sites than we had originally planned. We especially appreciated having so many private tours on this trip, where we could proceed at our own pace and ask questions, take photos, etc without holding anyone else up. All our tour guides were very friendly, patient, and well-informed. We were extremely appreciative of the skill and patience of all our drivers, many of whom had to navigate what seemed to us to be particularly difficult traffic situations. They always managed to transport us smoothly from place to place with no problems. The final gem in the crown of the tour was the crew of the MS Salacia, who were kind, helpful, and funny. They were always on hand to help my wife find vegan selections during dining, not to mention the special vegan Um Ali the chef created for us on our final night. To top it off, the folks at Memphis had informed them I was having a milestone birthday during the cruise, which they helped us celebrate during the open-air dinner that evening with a special cake, accompanied by music and dancing. We’ve never had another vacation that was so smooth, memorable, and informative. We will definitely be contacting Memphis Tours again when it comes time to plan our next adventure!

Trip-of-a-lifetime with Memphis Tours

We did a 8-day tour custom tour with Memphis Tours that included Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel. Marwa Samir was our tour advisor who made all the arrangements including creating the itinerary, internal flights and transportation, five-star hotels, guides at every location, meals and more. We couldn't have packed so much into our trip without his help. In Cairo, our tour manager was Ahmed who was just amazing. He went out of his way to make every arrangement for us so that our trip would be the most pleasant and enjoyable. In Aswan, our guide was Rasha who was also excellent and in Luxor, our guide was "LT" who was also amazing. Overall, it was a trip of a life-time. The kids (9 and 12) had an amazing time. The hotels were great - but the Hilton in Luxor was just outstanding. We also did extra activities like camel ride and ATV ride in Cairo. We enjoyed all the meals with traditional Egyptian food. The visits to the museums were awesome, with detailed explanations from the guides. Just couldn't have been better. Thank you Memphis Tours!!

Due to my walking disability, Memphis tours could not have accommodated me more. Virtually a private tour with a wheelchair aid, driver and tour guide. The vehicles were 1st class. Our guides were exceptional. They treated me as they would a brother. Always concerned with my welfare. I can’t praise the them enough. I consider them friends now. They helped my daughter and I create a memory we will always share together.

Lives up to expectations

An unqualified 5! The very first contact last December answered by Ms. Mai made me feel assured that I made the right choice in booking our trip with Memphis. Mai was understanding, reactive, constructive in advice and patient - and finalized a very nice itinerary with the best possible choices. From the time we were picked up at the airport to after 11 days beings brought back to from where we had started everything worked exactly as planned. There was not the slightest b-Mall!. Other than thanking Mai we want to mention specifically that during our 5 days in Cairo guide Shrouk and driver Magdy were a wonderful "tandem". Shrouk was one of the best guides we had in our many travels: she shared rather than explained - and provided the "big picture" rather drowning us in details.

I got a good idea about something that i was dreaming since quasi 60 years ago ( at my primary school )

It was a really good comprehensive experience balancing a lot of Ancient Egypt ( cairo luxor abu simbel aswan abydos .... and more ) with enough social( around in cairo luxor esna ) and nature ( the Nile , the country side to Dendera the desert) The interaction with the young memphis guides was an added value ! Also from a social point of view Mr Soliman that was with us in the South ...may I say outstanding ? 😉

You can’t go wrong with Memphis - an honest review after the trip

I spent less than 2 weeks in Egypt during Easter holiday. That included flights from my home town (Hong Kong) to Cairo, 4 nights at Cairo, and another 4 nights on Nile cruise (a one-way journey from Luxor to Aswan). There were dosmetic flights that brought us between Cairo and the cruise trip. As I haven’t been to this country before, I relied heavily on the travel advice from the agency as well as the tour guide before and during the trip. My vacation turned out to be a wonderful experience. Memphis did a great job in delivering us an authentic yet tourist-friendly side of ancient and modern Egypt within a somewhat tight schedule. While being professional and hospitable, the agency was highly flexible with our requests, which I considered a merit to mention. Special thanks to Mr. Amgd Fawzy, the eyes and ears of our whole trip, who gave us all the necessary tips and support whenever we needed. With Memphis, we enjoyed our trip to the fullest. Extraordinary service and incredible trip to mesmerizing Egypt.

Memphis Tours planned an amazing 10 day trip allowing us to customize it for our needs. Dependable and professional service reliably meeting at each airport, very nice transportation and amazing tour guides. Fadi in Cairo and Ahmed on the Nile were extremely knowledgeable and brought the history to life. We felt safe and well cared for and also had time to do our own thing (dirt biking in the Sahara and scuba diving in the Red Sea). Dream on the Nile

We had a big family trip from Luxor to Aswan and ending with Abu Simbel in private boat. A dream come true! The full trip was beautifully organised and our guide, Suleiman, was precise, smiling and very capable of understanding and preempting all our different needs (different age group - from 12 to 80). He was very caring and discreet! Thank you Memphis and thank you Suleiman!

Best Egyptologist in the Country

The planning was simple. Their experts laid out a fantastic itinerary. Once we connected with Mohamed Saady, our personal Egyptologist, every aspect of our trip ran perfectly. Behind the rope tours of tombs, extra time on the sights we wanted to see most, the best food and help negotiating with locals. Cannot say enough good things about Mohamed or the whole experience.

Outstanding Egypt trip

Samaa from Memphis Tours was beyond excellent and I highly reccomend that you ask for her.I took 17 people to Cairo including a 5 day cruise down the Nile River. We only had a small blimp from the tour guide on the cruise, he wanted to change our itenary and insert a side trip for his personal financial gain. This was rejected! . You don't get your money's worth.

Let me start by saying that we had great guides and drivers. But that's it. We had booked a fully private tour with Memphis. And time again had specified that we wanted it to be per our time. Didn't feel like that. Our tour manager in Cairo controlled everything. Didn't pay attention to what we were asking from him. The worst part is the ground crew and the tour planner don't communicate well. We were dropped off at the Cairo airport 5 hrs before departure and then the flight was delayed. they could have started our day a little late. There was no one to help at the airport as it was messy and chaotic entering it. We were going to spend a night in Abu simbel and had to catch a flight back from Aswan. We were told that pick up would come at 9 am. for a 3 hr drive to Aswan for a 7 pm flight. And it would be an airport drop only no other sites or stops would be done as it would cost extra. I don't understand why were not booked on an earlier flight then. They charge you big bucks and then save to airline tickets etc. Out hotel in Cairo was also changed at the last minute and I had issues with asthma due to my dust allergies. After paying $4700 per person I expected it to be an awesome trip. The tour manager in Cairo was only interested in getting big tips. Was very rude to talk to. Never ever booking with them again or referring them to my friends.

The adventure of a lifetime

When, in October 2023, I first told my family that I was headed to Egypt in March 2024, they met my big announcement with concern about global events, about my safety as an American traveling abroad in the Middle East, and about my immersion in a very different society and culture from the one that I'm used to as an American. Ever since I came back from this trip with a grin on my face and memories to last a lifetime, my family has since changed their minds and have celebrated the wonderful time I had. I owe a large part of that to my tour provider, Memphis Tours. Egypt can be a difficult landscape to navigate for solo travelers. Cairo has a hectic traffic scene, travelers have to get a visa at the airport, there are dozens of locals looking to make a quick buck through propositioning tourists with sketchy deals, and there is so much ground to cover if you truly desire to explore the width and breadth of the country. Yet I never felt directionless or alone during my time with Memphis. From my arrival in Cairo - when I was helped through the visa process by a tour leader and driven directly to my hotel (and everywhere else important, for that matter) by a private driver - down to my navigation of stops on the tour, I was always accompanied by tour personnel who truly cared about maximizing my once-in-a-lifetime experience in their country. I can personally testify to the difference they make; I roamed Cairo by myself on the first day and was quickly overwhelmed by the challenges of being a solo traveler. Yet, upon starting my week-long Memphis tour the next day, I never again felt lost, confused, or even unsafe. In fact, I never felt more at home in a foreign country than when I was with my tour personnel. The tour leader Mustafa Noby, whom I met in Luxor, was incredibly friendly and approachable, and we quickly hit it off while talking about Egypt, travel in general, and just about every other topic. He helped recommend a carriage ride through Luxor on realizing how much I desired to explore the living, breathing culture of Egypt. It was truly sad to part ways with such an amazing tour leader, but he helped me make the most of my time in Luxor. My time on the Steigenberger Regency cruise from Luxor to Aswan was not only made comfortable and happy by the amazing crew - including my group's funny waiter Sayed - but made excellent by our tour guide, Dr. Ahmed Ameen. I chanced upon Dr. Ahmed on the sun roof before our tour even convened, and we immediately bonded due to his wealth of knowledge about Egyptology and my own curiosity. I not only found a great tour guide, but a great friend whom I continue to keep in touch with. Dr. Ahmed was protective of the three of us in his group whenever we walked past touts in marketplaces or bazaars, told the stories of Ancient Egypt with charisma, humor, and great detail, and was always approachable and in great spirits. I thank my lucky stars that I had such an out-of-this-world tour guide, whom I genuinely missed after our final huzzah at Abu Simbel. Dr. Shrouk Farouk was my last tour guide, guiding me through Cairo for two days. She made some of the most impactful and positive adjustments to my adventure, including rearranging my schedule so that I had more time at the Egyptian Museum on the first day, and even switching out a planned visit to the touristy Cairo Tower for an immersive adventure into Coptic Cairo, a spiritual experience I'll never forget. She paid close attention to every preference I (even inadvertently) hinted at, such as my love for protein-rich meals, and she made two restaurant reservations at top-notch hotel restaurants where I was able to enjoy the finest Egyptian dishes that perfectly suited my culinary desires. There are so many other people who helped make my Egypt adventure amazing, from my buggy driver in Luxor to the agent who helped me set up my trip, book my flight, and answer any other questions I had. I never felt that Memphis fell short in any regard; they gave me the trip that I signed up for, and more! As I said earlier, Egypt is not necessarily an easy atmosphere for solo tourists to adjust to, and there are plenty of challenges, from getting used to a culture of tipping to dealing with aggressive scammers and vendors. Memphis took my cares away while I was with them, especially Dr. Shrouk, who even said that she would be my "bodyguard" during my tour! I don't know that I could have enjoyed my adventure as much without the top-notch experience that Memphis provided, and without the amazing guides who brought out the best of Egypt during my week-long exploration of such a historic country. In terms of promised and delivered experiences, quality of service, and talent/care of all tour personnel, Memphis surpassed every expectation I had and made Egypt one of my favorite adventures.

Memphis Tours made a dream come true!

As seniors we wanted to fulfill a life long dream to visit Egypt but needed a Tour Company that would individualize (a Cairo, Nile Cruse, Luxor, Aswan tour and several day tours) for just myself and my husband. In addition tours that would accommodate a wheelchair (supplied by Memphis Tours) when needed and my rollator and flexibility for each tour. After much research I found Abdo Younis of Memphis Tours, he did an excellent job in coordinating and “individualizing” our itinerary. We had a private Guide, a Driver and at times a person to push my wheelchair on uneven, difficult terrain. The Memphis Handicapped/Disability made our tour and goal of Egypt possible. Thank you Memphis. Our Tour Guide Ahmed Helal, (both times in Cairo) was very knowledgeable, caring, had a sense of Humor, “nothing was too much trouble” and enjoyable. Each of our tours: Pyramids of Giza, Museums, Citadel/Mohamed Ali Mosque, Coptic Church, Memphis and Saqqara were made special by Ahmed...you can tell he loved his job. His driver Abu Hariara was skillful and a very caring person. Since a step stool was not available he was very creative in finding a 'rock' for me to step on to get in and out of the Van. Abdelaah Wannan was a most knowledgeable and very experienced guide sharing facts of Luxor, Karnak, Edfu, Aswan and Nubian Village .​​ My wheelchair assistant, Rifay was a strong, caring and accomplished young man. SafariAbusimbel was our caring guide in Abu Simbel and eager to share the Glory of the spectacular RamsesII Temple. Our River Cruise boat Acamar II was lovely, had very clean handicapped rooms and the managers, staff, food and service were very good. Mohamed Fathi our tour coordinator kept in constant contact with us. He was professional, very flexible in advising & accommodating, tailoring our “extra” day tours and was there for the very early/late night Cairo Airport transports. Memphis Tours is Excellent

Memphis Tours is so reliable and efficient. Eleven of us flew to Cairo and then on to Luxor where we boarded the M.S. Salacia for a 5-day Nile River cruise, followed by Abu Simbel and then three nights in Cairo. Marwa, our contact at Memphis Tours worked really hard to make this a great trip for us. We were met at the airport in Cairo by Kero and he got us to the hotel and arranged an optional tour for us during a free day. Memphis Tours takes care of so many details that it makes the trip stress-free and incredibly enjoyable. I would never go to Egypt without the help of Memphis Tours.

A very beautiful tour from Cairo to Abu Simbel

Our tour from Cairo to Abu Simbel was very nice and very well organized. All the guides who accompanied us in the tour were very very good! Especially Thanks to Maha Mohamed who followed us during the online reservation process, to Mahmoud Essa who collect us to the airport and took to the hotels in Cairo, to Gianni Who guides us to discover Cairo and Cairo egyptian museum, Milad who explained us every details of temples and egyptian culture! Everything was very good! All the guides were very nice, friendly gentle, speak a very good italian, and were very well prepared. We suggest you to choose Viaggio in Egitto and Memphis tour!

Magnificent trip to Egypt with Memphis Tours.

This trip to Egypt was magnificent! We saw one amazing site after another, and had a very special time cruising on the Nile. Rania Hassan organised our tour and was always available to answer questions and accommodate our wishes. We greatly appreciated the flexibility of the organisation. Mohamed Attia Ibrahim was our tour leader. He greeted us at the airport in Cairo when we arrived. He accompanied us through passport security, waited (2 h!) with us for the luggage and took us to the hotel. The the day after he picked us up and took us back to the airport for our flight to Luxor. He also took us to the airport on the last day, and re-organised our visit in Cairo when we asked for a couple of extra sites to be added. He was always very cheerful and helpful! Our guide in Luxor and Aswan was Abdalla Hashem. He was terrific! Not only did he tell us about the history of the sites we visited in great details, he also had a huge number of stories and anecdotes about all the pharaohs and Gods that he would deliver in style. He's very skillful at delivering stories and captivating his audience, and his sense of humour was also very appreciated. In addition, he was always very attentionate, making sure everybody in our group always had what they needed. He made our trip to Egypt unforgettable. In Cairo, our guide was Amro. He also was great, and arranged our day at the pyramids in a perfect way. We saw Dahshur early in the morning, when the site was empty, and the light beautiful. Amro took us to two very nice restaurants, and made sure we had the best of Egyptian food. Altogether, our trip to Egypt was smooth and a fantastic experience. Memphis Tours is a major company which is very well run, and everybody who works for this company is very professional and pleasant. The cruise on the boat was the most enjoyable experience.

Amazing Cairo and the Nile

We did a 8 day 7 night tour that included a 4 day Nile cruise. Amira our contact in Egypt put together the tour for us at a very reasonable price. We were met by a representative at the Cairo airport and escorted to the hotel next had a driver and guide Maha for 4 of us. The we flew to Luxor where again met by a representative and boarded our ricer boat. We met our guide Ashraf Alsheme who stayed with us for our entire cruise. He was amazing. Again we had a private tour of Egypt for 4 people with exceptional guides for a very reasonable price and would recommend Memphis Tours to anyone. 5 startour.

Egyptian wonderland

The personalized Memphis tour was a private 12 day trip with 8 day’s sailing the Nile in a small Dahabiya. We toured numerous temples, pyramids, museums and tombs. It was a trip of a lifetime! Our tour guide was awesome, educated, organized and very friendly. We couldn’t have been in better hands. We are 2 senior sisters traveling alone and felt completely safe and comfortable throughout this adventure. Kudos to Memphis for seeing to all the details for us!

Awesome experience.

Visiting Egypt was a long time dream come true. All of the sites we visited, from the pyramids, our Nile River cruise, Luxor, Karnak, Abu Simbel, the Cairo Museum were breathtaking and the attention and care of the Memphis Tours Staff was excellent. Ali, Rami, Moustafa, Juan. We were driven to all the sites in comfort, our egyptologists were all professional and gave us a wide picture and many historical, cultural details. Magical 8 day in Egypt..

Mohammad Maher your first choice for private tour guide.

This is a must see part of Egypt and Memphis tours schedule was excellent. The most important part of any tour of Egypt is having the right tour guide. Mohammad Maher made our trip unforgettable. Not only was he organised and fun, but an Egyptologist as well, so he helped de-mystify Ancient Egyptian history for us in the most concise and interesting way. He went beyond expectations (including stopping for morning tea when not scheduled), and showing us extra sights in his own time. Mohammad will remain a friend and in our memories for ever. A mention also to Hany from Safari Abu Simbel for his wonderful humour and interesting facts. He obviously knows this area very well and his suggestions for time spent wisely were much appreciated. He also explained that the flight from Aswan to Abu Simbel will re-schedule so that the passengers all get sufficient time to see the sights.

I chose Memphis Tours because they specialize in tours for people who use wheelchairs. I was very pleased with the services provided on my tour. I was able to see many of the major sites in Egypt and Jordan with the assistance of the knowledgeable and expert Memphis Tours guides and operatives. Egypt- Cairo, Abu simbel, Nile cruise and Alexandria

Initially I gave two stars due a bad guide, but Memphis tours spoke to me and ensured that they will address the issue for the future trips.I and now giving five stars to my long-awaited Egypt trip. It began positively with a professional tour manager and an exceptional guide, Rami, in Cairo. However, in Aswan for the Nile cruise, we encountered issues with another guide, Sultan, whose behavior was highly inappropriate. We had to let him go, continuing with just one guide(Saadi) for our large group. Fortunately, the next guide (Saadi) restored our experience with his respectful and pleasant demeanor. While recommending Memphis tours, be cautious of choosing Sultan as a guide and be aware of the early 4 AM and 5 AM tour start times, which can be quite exhausting, especially foR children

Excellent organization, excellent guides, and a wonderful time

Memphis tours did an incredible job of suggesting itineraries that would suit our group of 10 people with 3 families. The attention to detail and logistics was excellent. The tour manager in Cairo (Nadeer) really took care of all the logistics starting from getting visas on arrival without any hassles. Along with that we had 2 excellent tour guides - Mohammed Saady (Aswan and Luxor), and Ahmed Farahat (Cairo). Their attention to detail, the information that they provided about the various sights and culture, their patience in answering all our questions was fantastic. It was a wonderful vacation. The hotel accommodations and the tour buses and the cruises were first class. A lot of folks have cancelled their tours due to perceived issues with the Israel war but that does not reflect the reality of our visit. There wasn't a single instance where we felt unsafe - it is a safe time to go on these tours and Memphis went out of the way to ensure that we felt safe. Go with Memphis if you want to visit Egypt - you will not regret it.

Outstanding Tour

A friend recommended Memphis Tours to us for a fabulous trip to Egypt, and we are so happy we took the advice. We told Memphis Tours our dates, and that we wanted to see a bit of Cairo and do a tour on the Nile, and our tour coordinator Mariam put together an outstanding 8-day itinerary for us. It was a perfect mix of tours, sites, relaxing, and enjoying the river cruise. We would not have changed a thing. The tour guides are fantastic, personable, and knowledgeable. We received a good mix of learning about each site, as well as free time to go around and take photos. We especially loved the personality of our guide Kadria, and will request her for all our tours in Egypt in future. Our drivers were all courteous and did a great job driving us, we never felt like we had too much time in a car. The timing of our whole trip was so well coordinated. Also, we always felt safe and like we were well looked after by Kero, our tour manager, as well as all our tour guides and drivers. All the food we ate was outstanding, in Cairo, on the riverboat, and on our day trip to Abu Simbel. The flavors, the breads, and the variety of the foods was excellent. Great holiday

It has been definitely a trip to remember , cherish and keep fond memories Memphis tours have been helpful in organizing the tours to different cities in short time Their team member Amghd Fawzy has been helpful with logistics and arrangements and tour guide Mohammad Emam has been exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging and kind during Nile cruise , visiting temples and Aswan.

Best tour guide and tour leader

We travelled with 4 other families (20 in all) and arrived over three consecutive days. Amgad, our tour leader was there to receive us on all three days and expedited our immigration at the airport. At the end of our tour with Memphis, we had added two days of Saudi trip. Even after our tour with Memphis was over, Amgad was kind enough to arrange a bus to receive us from Saudi and help us transfer to the other terminal for our final flight back home.He was very accessible and always one text away. The highlight of the tour was our tour guide Mohamed Emam!His love for history and teaching was obvious from the get go. He was energetic and excited to share his knowledge with us. He was able to distill 5000 years of rich Egyptian history for us in simple terms. I loved how he kept the kids interested by asking them questions about the art and architecture of the places we visited. Mohamed was extremely thoughtful and would forewarn us when there were hawkers/vendors and pickpockets to avoid. We always had a pre decided meeting place incase anyone wandered off. Mohamed was also very generous with his time, spending one of his free evenings on the cruise to sit down with us and answer our questions. He even gave us a run down of modern Egypt. He spoke like a scholar not a tour guide. We all thought he should be teaching Egyptian history at a university! Please look him up if you are planning to visit Egypt. Great Trip, Great time, Best Guide!

I am very glad I booked this tour with Memphis tours as it was very comprehensive and in depth, as Egyptology is a personal interest of mine. I was looking for something more immersive and wanted guides who were more professional and knowledgeable. For the most part I felt like I got what I wanted and learned more and reinforced my knowledge, though most of my group otherwise were there to explore the culture for the first time. We had a very large group of 37 people, but they were able to take care of us well for the most part, and took our needs well such as food restrictions and specific timings. Most tour guides were good except for one (Sultan almost ruined our trip and is not a nice person who seemingly hates his job) as Ramy and Karim were good in Cairo as well. However the highlight was Mohammad (15) Saadi, an amazing tour guide! After a hiccup with another tour guide (our group originally had 2 guides in upper and lower Egypt due to scheduling and large size) he seamlessly took over and not only made our time great, but went above and beyond to teach us and show us the beauty of the land. He learned our group and learned what we would like and went out of his way to show us the preciousness and spectacles of ancient Egypt. Mr. Mohammad is very professional, very passionate, very funny, and incredibly learned about his craft and land. He made our trip that much better after another tour guide almost ruined it. Memphis tours did well for our size and helped accommodate us for what we needed. Definitely worth it even if you’re a small group, and ask for Mohammad 15 (Saadi). He will make your time in Egypt that much better! Thanks bro!!

AMAZING EGYPTIAN TOUR - THANK YOU Samaa and Mohammad Emam

Memphis tours (Samaa in particular) was a pleasure to work with to arrange a complete Egyptian tour for myself and 20 other friends and family. She was excellent at providing guidance and direction on what to do and how to structure our tour. Our guide from Luxor to Abu Simbel was a gentleman named Mohammad Emam who was INCREDIBLE - clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the subject matter but more importantly was able to transmit the information in a way that was logical and engaging. It was such a great pleasure to be guided by him. In addition, he made sure to involve the kids/teens in our group and accommodate the women’s request for shopping. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We had a best experience with one of Tour guide Muhammad Eman , can’t recommend enough. Very knowledgeable and well rounded. If you are going to Luxor , he should be the guide.

A Splendid Egyptian Adventure

Our 11-day Egyptian adventure with Memphis Tours (via Travel Local) was excellent. The hotel and boat accommodations were splendid and so were our guides/escorts (particularly Mahmoud in Aswan and Luxor, Maha and Bosey in Cairo) and drivers (especially Waleed in Cairo).

Yasser our guide

Me and my wife did a three day river cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Upon arriving to our ship we were treated by Yasser. Yasser would be our guide the whole journey. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the ruins and temples in Egypt. While eating lunch or dinner on the ship he’d come around and talk to everyone in his group about the plans later that day or the next day. He kept us on schedule. He’s a Luxor native and told us he swims in the Nile daily with his family. We had a blast! Yasser spoke very good English. He told us about how much tourism has been affected because of the conflict in Gaza and Israel. 97% of Americans have canceled their trips. We felt safe the whole journey though out Egypt. The only positive thing about the conflict is that all the ruins don’t have lines to get inside them. Yasser told us it usually takes an hour to get inside Abu Simbel and we walked right in. Egypt is safe for tourist . We had an absolute blast! Thanks Yasser !

Historical experience

We were glad to have Nouran Fayez arrange this bucket list trip for us. It was so smooth, from planning the trip all the way to the full experiences in Egypt and Jordan. Having a personal tour guide, personal transportation and great hotels were all appreciated. It was truly a wonderful, historical and memorable vacation that was worth recommending to other friends who have not been to Egypt. The trip was very well organized. The guides were very knowledgeable. I appreciated the security provided through out the trip.All the guides Ahmed, Nadeer, Sayed, and Ragab were good and giving great historical information. They were flexible and patient. Enjoyed the power boat ride to the remote village, Nile river cruise, and Baloon ride. Nile river cruise food was excellent. There were plenty of vegetarian options in the Nile river cruise. Enjoyed the food in cairo, too. We had a great time visiting the Pyramids and the temples. Great organization. I will definitely recommend the Memphis organization to my friends.

Pyramids at Saqqara, Djoser, Giza

It was a fantastic tour tailor made to our need to visit the mystical pyramids, right from the very first attempts from step, bent, mound to build those huge monuments of stones weighing tons a piece to a more stable ones standing the test of time! Our tour guide Tarek is as amazing as he was some 11 years back when we first met and now with a slightly bigger family…!
