I didn’t realize that I had booked a private tour. When Amir showed up at my hotel in Cairo and announced that he would be my guide for the tour. But I thought I’m here to see the Pyramids so it doesn’t matter if I go alone or with a group. Amir was super nice and knowledgeable. Just made me feel at ease. I’m so glad I went and had an amazing time.

Tour of pyramids in Giza

Hello, the tour was absolutely fantastic. Great value for money and I would recommend to anyone visiting Giza. The tour guide was great in looking after us, very knowledgeable and was entertaining throughout the entire tour. Credit to the guide for getting great photos for us!😊 We were given plenty of time to visit inside the pyramids as well.

Fantastic tour, highly recommend

We're very satisfied with tour we had this morning. Hala was a great source of knowledge and gave us a lot of information on what we saw. She didn't put pressure on us into doing anything we didn't want to and everything went at the right pace. The driver Mewafy was also great, very careful when driving in crazy Cairo! Last but not least, the restaurant choice for our lunch was superb! Everything highly recommended! If only we had planned more carefully, we would have probably chosen a full day tour rather than half day as we flew all the way from Hurghada and ended up having a spare afternoon before boarding our flight - so I would suggest taking into account one of the longer tours too

Great time at the Pyramids and Sphinx

Basant was great!! She ensured we had a wonderful time during our tour of the pyramids and Sphinx. Basant was informative, personable and professional! She explained things in detail and answered any questions we had. It was a joy to find out that she’s wanted to be a tour guide since a child. Basant took many photos to help us commemorate our time at the compound. She also helped translate when we decided to purchase some souvenirs on the way out. The tour was the best we ever had! The Guide Amir was very competent, friendly and it was a pleasure to spend the time with him. Tour in Italian with the guide Hala was great!

Beautiful experience! Hala was our guide in italian and she has been so nice and she explained us so many interesting things, the time with her went fast! She has been the best tour guide we could get. And her communication in Italian was perfect. 5 stars!

Highly recommended

Ahmed, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and so well known by everyone that we were given special treatment and quick access to attractions. He showed us an introductory presentation that helped us appreciate our visit thoroughly. The down side was that the driver, although very kind and a better driver than most, did not speak English, which made things difficult.

Amazing Giza and Sphinx tour!

Our tour was absolutely incredible! Norhan, our guide, made the entire experience incredibly smooth and enjoyable. Her knowledge of the location was outstanding, and she shared everything we could have wanted to know. There wasn't a single dull moment, and the atmosphere felt more like exploring with friends than a typical tour. On top of everything, Norhan is a fantastic photographer! Thanks to her expertise on the best spots, my Instagram is now bursting with stunning photos. This tour is a must-do, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It was absolutely worth it!

Better and more than we anticipated

Great tour. Pick up on time at our hotel. Guide had good knowledge of the Egyptian history. A camel ride to view the 9 (didn’t realise there were nine) pyramids of Giza was definitely an experience worth having. A morning (before the heat of the day) well spent. With photos on top! Would happily repeat the tour.

Pyramids Tour

the service with Sherif was excellent. He picked us up on time by bus. We offered drinks and presented ourselves in detail. We went to the pyramids, he told us a lot about it. We were a small group, which was very good. With the pyramids he gave us a lot more information. The tour was really excellent. I can absolutely recommend Sherif as a guide. Thank you

Great way to spend half a day in Cairo!

The whole tour was great - from the timely pick up in an air conditioned van, to the fantastic tour guide, Ahmed Zaki, who was very knowledgeable and made the trip the best. Highly recommend at this fantastic price.

Great time in Cairo

This was a great experience for me and I highly recommend if you have a layover in Cairo, because seeing the great Pyramids and the Sphinx was a life-time experience. The tour guide Rania was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history. She was also very good in choosing spots for pictures. At the end of the tour, she recommended a local favorite restaurant for Koshari, the National dish in Egypt, which was delicious and inexpensive. The driver Ferky was also very friendly. He knew every piece of Cairo and navigated the busy districts easily. He was also willing to provide extra service at minimum cost. Overall, I am very happy I made this decision to go on this one day trip. I received a VIP experience for a regular tour price. Will definitely go back to Egypt and bring my family next time.

Touring the best of Cairo in half a day

Had an amazing experience being shown around by my lovely tour guide taking me to the pyramids and making sure I got the full experience, from going inside the great pyramid to getting a camel ride, it was a wonderful time and would definitely recommend 10/10 😃

Best experience with Bossi and Mahmoud! <3

The tour with Bossi and Mahmoud was by far the best experience my boyfriend and I have ever had with a tour guide. Apart from the organizational aspect (which also went completely smoothly), we were lucky that Bossi and Mahmoud are exceptionally pleasant personalities who gave us a very nice day. Bossi is also a former archaeologist, so her knowledge is outstanding. Not only did we learn a lot about the pyramids, but we were also able to have very interesting conversations about different cultures and their history. All in all, it was a great day and our absolute highlight in Cairo. For anyone who is interested in history and generally enjoys having conversations with open and intelligent people, I can really recommend a tour with them!

Best Giza Pyramids experience

Awesome experience, our guide Moka was fantastic. He reached out on WhatsApp making it very easy to communicate. He waited for us in the lobby punctually and explained very well the whole story in a very funny and engaging way. He asked us for our interest and we asked for Camel ride, he organised accordingly. We're super happy with the whole experience and learned a lot.

Our experience with OceanAir Travels was great! Our guide, Mohammed, and driver, Eslam, were knowledgeable, personable, and courteous! We are glad we booked a tour to these sites. Without doing so, we would have been lost on how to navigate the culture and where to find the great photo sites. We will definitely book again with OpenAir Travels the next time we return!

Bossi is the best Tour guide you can get!

We had a private tour with Bossi. She is a former archaeologist and therefore her knowledge is enormous. She had an answer to every question and all the details and information she provided were amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful right from the start and it only got better the longer the tour went on and the more we got talking. We were very lucky because with such a great guide, the experience we had at the pyramids and the Sphinx was all the more memorable. I can only recommend everyone to take a tour with Bossi to have an unforgettable experience in Giza.

Enjoyable and Informative

Randa and her driver were at our hotel bang on time. We then went for a tour of the Pyramids and Sphinx. Randa provided us with the historical context for the Pyramids and walked with us two oldies to look at the smaller Pyramids. As I have mobility difficulties Randa helped me walk along and took many photos. We drove to see the Sphinx and, again, Randa gave us some historical context and took photos. Finally, as we had opted for a Felucca ride to end our tour, we were taken into the centre of Cairo and had a very relaxing Felucca ride on the Nile before being returned to our hotel. It was a very enjoyable and informative tour.

It was an excellent tour. Our guide Mervat was very knowledgeable. She explained the history of the pyramids. She also took us to stores we were interested in. No pushing. The driver also was very friendly and the car was new. It was a wonderful experience.

Best tour ever!

We would 100% recommend this half day tour. Our tour guide Mahmoud Emam could tell us everything about the history of Giza, the piramides, the sphinx and everything around there. Osama our driver picked us up at our hotel and dropped us at the piramides where our tour started. He then picked us up again and drove us to the next location. And so on. This was amazing, so we did not have to walk the entire time. We had the greatest time and even did a camel ride! Most importantly we felt very safe being in the piramide era together with a guide. Thank you guys so much for this unforgettable experience.

Amazing trip and very well organised

We did the half day tour with Ahmed zaki and Fares and the tour was AMAZING! Cant thank both of them enough- they picked us on time, in a super comfortable car and on the way to the pyramids explained the background and history of them. At the pyramids, Ahmed helped us take great pictures at various spots which did not have alot of tourists- so they make for amazing memories without having crowds in your background:) They also went and above and beyond by taking us to amazing perfumery and papyrus places where we could shop for items that are local to Egypt! Both are patient and so well versed with Egyptian history and they make every effort to ensure you have the best time while you are here!

our guide Ahmed zaki was excellent. throughout the tour he was very informative and gave us detailed explanation of the pyramids. he exhibit great knowledge of the pyramids and was also a great photographer. he also gave us falafel for lunch which was very delicious
