A perfect night in Cairo!

Mohamed is absolutely wonderful. He took us to all of the most authentic Cairo spots for food, dessert, and coffee. (I have lived in Cairo before so I know the difference.) He went out of his way to show us a really great time, he was so kind and funny, and told us great stories. It felt like we were old friends by the end of the night! My 18 yo son also had an amazing time on the tour and already wants to come back to Cairo again. My only complaint is that the evening went by way too fast. I highly recommend this tour with Mohamed - he is the best! If I could give more than five stars I would. Enjoy the memories!

10/10 Downtown Cairo Experience

My mum and I were looking for a city experience for our last night in Cairo and we totally got it with Mohamed! The view from the Cairo tower was amazing, Mohamed’s company was very warm and friendly & he even took us to try hookah at a local spot with zero other tourists. Our dinner was great too, we’d already tried koshary the day before so he took us to an amazing restaurant where we tried green soup & pigeon, which was on our list of foods to try in Egypt. He was honestly great and one of the top experiences we’ve had during our stay. Can’t recommend this experience enough. Thank you!!

Amr was excellent with the night tour

If you're in Cairo, make sure you pick EMO for all of your tours. We had Amr our tour guide. He was patient, and knowledgeable about every where he took us. He made sure we were safe and enjoyed every aspect Night Cairo. We had dinner with locals, hung out after Iftar and had a really good time. Ahr is gifted with the iPhone, and he doesn't mind taking all of the pictures for you. He was very professional and kind while they gave us a local perspective of Cairo. Excellent service and very professional yet personable enough to make the tour very fun. Request him if you can, he does an excellent tour.

The Evening didn’t happen!

My booking was confirmed by Viator and my payment taken. On arrival at the meeting point I got hotel to ring the guide who said as it was Ramadan the tour was not going and asked me if infact it had been confirmed. Yes it had… and my money taken Spoilt a precious night in Cairo

Awesome mini food adventure

We wanted to avoid playing it safe in the hotel restaurant for our first night in Cairo. So we booked this night tour as a way to kickstart our Egypt adventure. Amr was a wonderful guide - respectful, enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable and honestly wanted to show us a good time. The sunset felucca ride was beautiful and the local food was amazing! Amr's colleague Mohammed joined us for Turkish tea and coffee at a local laneway cafe at the end of the tour and we all chatted and laughed like old friends. Highly recommend this tour if you want a friendly, down to earth, local experience. You won't regret it!

Germanen in Cairo

We did the Gizeh Pyramids Tour with Mohamed. We met at a certain location point which He sent us in a message on whatsapp. Then we started Our Tour across the Pyramids property. Mohamed gave us really interesting and important Information about the history and everything you need to know about the pyramids. He was such a friendly, nice and open minded person who is really into his guiding profession. Later on that day we spontaniously arranged another beautiful boat Trip on the nile with him and enjoyed the nice sunset with some more helpful information(s) about cairo. We would definately recommend Mohamed as a brilliant Tour guide to every tourist.

Spontaneous, infectious fun!

Our last two nights in Egypt were in Cairo, and looking for some fun and adventure we booked this night tour with Mohammed. It turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip. The value of this tour was lots of spontaneous activity and discovering things we would not have found on our own. We enjoyed excellent koshary at a legendary restaurant followed by coffee and hookah at a lovely yet bustling courtyard setting. Off script, we continued our evening attending an wonderfully entertaining tanoura music/dance at the amazing Wekalet El Ghoury. This was high a high-quality and much appreciated performance! Mohammed is fun, gracious, spontaneous, and he takes great care of all his guests. Be open to any adjustments/recommendations he makes. Highly recommended!

Best Ever

My husband and I have traveled to a lot of places around the world. Amr hands down is the best guide we ever had. He was respectful, intelligent, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed how personable he was. If you can request someone by name, ask for him. We started as strangers and left as friends.

Egyptian perfume store scam.

When visiting Cairo/Giza..the tour operator often takes you to their pre-settled joint to buy things. Apparently they have an agreement with these stores for commission on total businesses they bring in. One such store is Sultan's Flower Extracts.Palace in Giza on Main Road not far from the pyramids. AVOID at all costs. They are s total scam. Our tour guide stopped at this unscheduled place without our knowledge and insisted my wife to check out the place. The owner and his team surrounded her and gave a long lecture about their perfumes from flower extracts etc. and insisted her to buy something as if its her lifetime opportunity. Although the prices were pretty hefty for such small quantities,...a bit scared in a foreign country surrounded by five Arabian speaking men and not understanding a word of their language she felt forced to buy something unwillingly just to get out of there. They wrapped up the perfume and colorful glass decanter that they claimed is made of stained glass and would never loose its lustre. Returning home she opened up the bubble wrap.to find out...stained glass decanter? My foot. Its a cheap painted flat glass decanter whereby the paint was peeling off as being unwrapped. An absolute scam. Be careful and tell your guide upfront not to stop or bring you to place that you don't ask for.

Great adventure

It was really nice to be able to explore Cairo with a trusted tour guide. My tour guide was Amr and he was excellent. He was very accommodating and very knowledgeable.

Started tour early and without me

20 minutes before the tour's scheduled start time, Mohamed wrote to me that he had already begun - early, and without me. When I asked why, he wrote, "I'm ok but you can't get the sunset time". That is a direct quote, and I have no idea what it means either. Mohamed started his tour 20 minutes early, left without me, and spoilt my first evening in Cairo.

A Wonderful Night to Remember

My husband and I discovered the Cairo Night Tour and decided it would be the perfect way to spend our last evening in Cairo. The tour was even better than we could have imagined. We had the best time with Mohamed and we learned more about the Egyptian way of life than we had the entire time we’d spent in Egypt. Mohamed is such a funny, charismatic and energetic tour guide. He treats you like one of his local friends and goes out of his way to immerse you in Egyptian culture. We loved everything about our evening, but we especially enjoyed our stops where we were the only tourists surrounded by locals. We highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to Mohamed for making our last evening in Egypt a special night we will always remember.

Good experience

Peaceful boat ride on Nile river followed by good Local dinner Kushary at Abu Tarek!! Didn’t get a chance to visit Cairo Tower as it was closed for a week. Local coffee shop was also a good short stop.

Thanks to Mohamed we have been able to discover the main sights of Cairo in such a beautiful way of storytelling. We booked Mohamed for two days: the first one was to do the Islamic tour and during the second one we visit the Pyramids, and the great Sphinx of Giza. He was very punctual, super nice and very friendly. What we have appreciated especially about Mohamed is the fact that he genuinely gives you recommendations you will appreciate and enjoy not touristy places that are expensive for nothing or not even worth it. We had so much fun discovering Cairo with Mohamed and we were very happy with our choice. Great plus? Night in Cairo

Mohamed is full of life and knowledge! He made sure I had a great time and had alternatives ready. No wind = no felucca but he found a motorized boat for the Nile instead. Crossing busy streets is a bit intimidating but he made sure we were safe the entire time. I enjoyed the night and his charismatic energy! Highly recommend this experience!

Two toors with Mohamed - Food Tour and the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar

What a wonderful day with Mohamed! We organized two tours with Mohamed and both were fantastic!! The first one was a food tour - amazing little spots, street food, authentic restaurants and all at a great value for money. 'Egyptians are food lovers...' :) is what he said, when we couldn't take a single piece of bread anymore. The second tour, right after the first one was the Khan el-Khalili Bazar tour. You could easily think that Mohamed knows everything about this area and everyone there... Very intense experience with millions of locals. You always felt secure and fine with Mohamed and: He's a great and funny guy!!

Night in Cairo

We experienced the evening in old Cairo and it was amazing! All the environment was fantastic (the shops, the music, the mosques...). Mo told us everything about it, which was super interesting, and he took us to nice (and cheap) shops and to a unique café.

Bazzar tour

Positive things to highlight from our bazzar tour. Mohamed agreed to change our tour time that was more suitable for us. Showed inexpensive shops to buy souvenirs and of course all the pretty stalls. Suggested a great place for a tea and escorted us to the hotel. I would recommend to book Mohamed for the bazzar tour.

Above and Beyond!

Mohamad is an incredible tour guide and I would recommend him to anyone traveling in Egypt! My friends and I did two tours with him while in Cairo. An exceptional guide, he explained everything very clearly. We started with a boat ride on the Nile watching the sunset, then we went to the Cairo Tower, took a night walk through the city and took us to dinner Khoshsary, typical dish, very good! And finally took us to take a tea in front of the Nile. A unique experience. Highly recommended!

Great time!

So the tour was an overall good time. Our guide was prompt, on time and very knowledgable of the surrounding area. We got to sail the nile, we visited Cairo Tower, had an absolutely delishes dish which I won't even tey to buthcer but so worth it! Finished the night with coffee and company. We went with a larger group and it was a lot if fun to keet new people from different countries. We all took selfies and exhanged nunbers. Overall a pleasant evening, just becareful around Dec-Jan, bring a jacket atleast lol. Big thanks to our guide, had a great time, would do again 👍🏽

Authentic Cairo Tour!

If you come to Cairo and I find out you didn’t hang out with Amr, I’m going to be very upset with you. This is the real real. Sure, you’ll do the falluca you’ve been asked to do 2000 times on the street, but that is just the start. Go to the Cairo Tower for some amazing views. It’s worth the wait. Then: what I came to Cairo for comes on. Walking through the streets of Cairo, off the beaten path, eating koshary at a world famous spot you’d never have found on your own, then having coffee in an amazing and buzzing outdoor space that’s been the spot of inspiration for the who’s who of Egyptian artists, writers, poets. Amr is amazing, knows all the history and facts, but also clearly knows every corner…he’s from here, and it shows. Do this tour!

The Best Authentic Way to See Cairo

The best way to truly get to know a city is walking and eating with a local. This is a must-do in Cairo to get the real experience. Our guide/new friend was Amr. He was awesome to get to know Cairo and stuff our bellies with delicious food. Definitely recommend.

Nile and Cairo Trip

Amazing trip, we started at the Nile River riding a felluca (boat) which is really nice , elevating the Cairo Tower, the tallest building in Cairo where the view is exciting, and wll this accompanied with our tour guide Maryam Alaa, which history of places we were crossing in detail and her English are 10/10. Ask for Maryam!!

Excellent tour

I booked a tour with Mohamed to visit Citadel and the religious complex. Mohamed was friendly, kind, and, most importantly, knowledgeable. I traveled to many countries and took countless tours, and I have to say this tour exceeded my expectations. After visiting the Citadel of Saladin, which was awesome, I requested to modify the tour instead of the Religious Complex to explore one of Cairo's most unusual sights, Mokattam Mountain Cave Church of Saint Simon "The Tanner" Monastery, where seven cave churches are carved into the rock. I was so glad I went with Mohamed as we passed by a very local neighborhood called Garbage City to get the Monastery, and I wouldn't be able to do it on my own, which would have been more challenging, even though it wasn't my first time in Cairo. Mohammed wanted us to visit more sites to make the most of my time, but I opted to end the tour since I was getting tired. Getting a ride home was a challenge, but Mohammed gladly arranged it for me, for which I am grateful. Overall, it was a great tour, and I could not have asked for anything more. I was comfortable and enjoyed every moment of the tour, and Mohammed took beautiful photos of me. I highly recommend this tour, and would definitely book another tour in the future.

Friendly, insightful and interesting tour with Mohamed

I had a great evening with Mohamed. He is an enthusiastic, knowledge and friendly guide and, as a solo female traveler, I felt totally at ease with him. Our evening started in Tahrir Square, before going on a felucca ride on the Nile. This was a very peaceful experience given the noise of the city. We then headed to Cairo Tower (it is worth paying the 100 LE to skip the queue) before walking through Zamalek. Mohamed was very accomodating and took my to an amazing falafel joint. I have taken several tours during my stay in Cairo and Mohamed's was the most interesting and insightful guide; with local, historical and political knowledge. Definitely a must-do during your time in Cairo!

Knowledge Tour Guide

Mohammed was a joy to go out with. He is knowledgeable of the areas he goes to and is a great resource to seek advice. He does have a thick accent but it is understandable. I did a 2 hour tour of the Al Hazar Mosque and the Khan Khalili market tour.

The first thing that I liked about our experience with Mohamed is that he agreed to offer us a tour of our choice to Coptic Cairo. The tour itself was really nice and relaxed, we didn't feel pressured to cover the area in a certain period of time. He was really patient, explained everything we needed to know and even answered to all sorts of questions we had. He was always smiling and had lots of energy and took us really good photos. Even though I was visiting with my parents he adapted his style and pace to theirs and all three of us felt like we had such a good experience in the end. In conclusion, if you want a fun tour, full of information and if you don't want to feel rushed, make sure that you give Mohamed a sign and I'm sure he'll be more than happy to meet you.
