I’ve waited decades to experience the pyramids, and this trip lived up to the moment! I’m sure the other guides are great but my guide, Mr. Gamal, was on another level. If you can, ask for him. Professional, learned, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Egyptian history. He really brought the attractions to life and treated me like family. I had the honor of having a private tour so it was a small group, and I got to ask all my questions. We started our journey with a visit to see ancient relics in situ then onto the magnificent Sakkarah Stepped Pyramid. His depth of knowledge (studied with the famous Egyptologist Professor Zahi Hawass) and expertise were evident as he explained the intricate details and significance of the grounds and architecture, making the experience both educational and enthralling. Next, we ventured to the iconic Giza Pyramids, where the sheer grandeur and scale left me in awe. Gamal’s storytelling and insightful commentary about the pyramids’ construction and the pharaohs who built them enriched my visit immensely. The highlight of the trip was seeing the Great Pyramid in person followed by an exhilarating camel ride, which offered breathtaking views of the pyramids and the obligatory social media photo op! Gamal and crew were attentive and accommodating, ensuring we captured perfect photographs to remember my adventure by. His friendly demeanor and enthusiasm truly made the experience special. The entire day was seamlessly coordinated, and every detail was meticulously taken care of. I went on a trip to the pyramids of Giza, and it was really a very enjoyable trip and an excellent experience. I advise you, if you want to go to the pyramids, to stay on this site because their treatment is very, very nice.

Egypt-Cario- a journey of a lifetime in one day

Our guided tour of the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis, Saqqara, including a delightful lunch and camel ride, was absolutely exceptional, thanks to our knowledgeable guide, Ahmed Elsayed. Ahmed not only enlightened us with fascinating details about each site and its historical significance but also enriched our experience with a deep dive into Egyptian history. The additional visits to a jeweler, a blown glass & oils shop, and a handmade rug factory-store were unexpected pleasures, offering us a closer look at Egyptian craftsmanship. Ahmed’s advice on interacting with locals was invaluable. He went above and beyond by capturing numerous photos of our group, making sure to air-drop them to us promptly, which was a lovely personal touch. The eight hours flew by in the company of Ahmed's engaging narrative and considerate guidance. This tour was not just a journey through Egypt’s ancient wonders, but a voyage into the heart of its rich culture and warm hospitality.

Brilliant trip with a guide who will go the extra mile (and then some!)

We were lucky enough to have the dream team of Gamal (guide) and Hani (driver). They were absolutely incredible & so helpful! Gamal was so knowledgable about all things Egypt and was kind enough to show us some off-itinerary locations away from the tourist trail. The tour was fun and action packed without being too exhausting. What was particularly impressive was Gamal’s willingness to offer ongoing support even after our tour with him had finished, for example he helped us find a private driver to get us round Cairo the next day. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

Worth it

It was a very informative tour. Sam our guide picked us up on time and showed us around the intended places . He is extremely knowledgeable and knows his stuff well. He is very passionate about his job and also very respectful to the needs of his clients. Our driver Mina was the same a master in Cairo crazy traffic. Will recommend this tour highly.

Great tour

The short version is that this tour was great. Go for it. The longer version is that we were picked up from our hotel by the guide and a driver. They were friendly and the guide was able to speak in decent English and provided explanations and history for everything. The tour is private and there were only us, the guide, and the driver. We saw everything that is in the description, although I wish we could have gotten a little closer to the sphinx. If you enjoying shopping and haggling, you'll enjoy stopping at the shops. If you're trying to save money you could probably ask to not stop at the shops. Lunch was tasty. Overall a great trip.

Exciting fun & a must do activity in Giza

A must do fun, exciting, knowledge, hassle-free, stress-free way of exploring the gems of Giza, Saqqara & Memphis. The guide Sam and driver Andrew both were very friendly and accommodating. Especially the guide Sam. He was very knowledgeable, cooperative and best part was his passion and energy. That energy and enthusiasm made the trip so exciting and fun. I strongly recommend to do this tour with this company. You can cover a lot of great places in depth and save a lot of time. The lunch was Egyptian style and really delicious.

Fun, Private Tour to Giza + Memphis + Saqqara

I really enjoyed my tour with Gamal and Hany to Giza + Memphis + Saqqara. Gamal is a very knowledgeable guide and we talked across a lot of Egyptian history, about how the pyramids were made, and general life in Cairo/Giza. Gamal suggested Memphis first and it was a great starting point to see the giant statue there. We went to Saqqara next and his knowledge of which tombs were the best to explore and the story of the various tomb owners was terrific… I thoroughly enjoyed it and we were able to talk in more depth about the first pyramid and how Saqqara kind of started off the pyramid building cycle. Giza was the final cherry on top after learning about the earlier history. Being able to go inside the big pyramid was a highlight despite how cramped and humid the crawl up and down is. Hany is super chill and cool. He always made sure we had cool water and something tasty to eat… Both guys are friendly and good taking photos. I’d definitely look these two up for future adventures around Egypt…

Great day

What a perfect way to spend the day in Egypt. Pyramids, the sphinx, lunch and so much more. Gamal was the best guide and host. Hasan was the perfect driver and body guard. My kids and I felt safe and welcome the entire time. I would highly recommend to anyone that comes to Egypt to spend the day with them.

It's very nice activity and view it's bigger than you think a lot of camels horses and Hantoor you should have a hate it's sunny

This was an amazing tour experience. Ahmed Elsayed was a great guide. He was very informative of ancient Egyptian history, friendly, helpful with picture taking etc. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a calm, quiet, non rushed private tour experience.

Very good tour overall… but…

Tour guide Ahmed Elsayed was excellent, had great knowledge, offered to make photos, very nice overall. Mina the driver was also super nice, offered to stop on the way back for photos by the Nile, etc. The museums and pyramids are of course a must-see and lunch was great, at a place where we had a great view of the pyramids. I feel however that the price-quality ratio is definitely not right. There were too way too many programmed shipping stops (a souvenir shop, an essential oils place, and a papyrus art shop) that were ok but super expensive, and some of them a bit too pushy. Also, two weeks in advance I reserved a tour that said hotel pick up was included, I mentioned what my hotel was since the moment I reserved, and the night before the tour they sent me a message saying that it was going to be an extra 10 dollars for pick-up because my hotel was “too far”. Honestly, considering the tour price and the timing of that message, that felt kind of like a rip-off…

Memorable experience

Visiting the Pyramids of Giza is a magical experience on many people’s bucket lists. It’s enhanced when you have a knowledgeable and warm tour guide. Wael Abdullah provided a lot of information and took us to some of the best viewing spots around the Pyramids and Sphinx. The restaurant we visited had delicious food and a fantastic view of the Pyramids. Overall, it was a memorable experience.

The best tour in Egypt Ali baba for group and solo traveller

The best experience I had in Egypt! My tour guide, Ali (Ali Baba), was amazing. He provided detailed information about each place we visited. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. He is very friendly and approachable and he cares about his client. He is not like any other tour guide out there who is just giving out information, and that's it, you can feel that you're a family to him, Also, he is a great photographer. The tour itself is exceptional from hotel pickup until the end of the tour, and I would highly recommend everyone to take their tour with them. And special appreciation to our driver, Mina, for being so kind and keeping us safe on the road during the tour.

Ahmed Elsayed was our guide for the day and he was perfect! We were very happy with how much we saw and learned today. Ahmed is very knowledgeable and got us in and out of sites efficiently and with ease. We are grateful for the amazing day we had exploring Cairo and Giza. Very good experience

We took the trip and it was amazing, we had seen so many interesting things and our guide Eman was realy super. Se explained everything and had answers to all of our questions. Driver Mina was also very nice and realy skilled in navigating through the city.

This tour covered everything and our guide Ahmed was awesome. Even better that it wasn’t an all day excursion so didn’t have to wake up super early and still had time for evening activities. Amazing experience with time optimization

Mimo was a great guide, took us around the piramids explaining the whole history behind them. We did the camel ride, we saw the Sphinx and we ha lunch, the car was always ready to take us to each point from start to finish. Great experience and highly recommended for those who don't have much time in Cairo and needs to optimise time.

The best tour guide and driver!

Absolutely fantastic day with Eman our tour guide and George (Schumacher) our driver. We had a great time and a lot of fun. The Pyramids and the Sphinx were amazing and Eman was very knowledgeable about Egyptian culture. We learned a lot in a short space of time. We were also taken to the new Egyptian museum which was a real bonus! We can’t thank them both enough for making our first tour in Cairo truly amazing. Shukran!

Excellent Tour for Anyone

My fellow female friend and I went on this tour with Sam as our guide and Mena as our driver, and we cannot say enough good things about this tour or the people. We hit all the Giza highlights as well as Saqqara and Memphis. Sam’s historic knowledge was extensive, and we learned a lot! He also knew all the good spots and took photos for us the whole time. We also appreciated how flexible they were. Sam let us take 45 minutes in the Carpet School (highly recommend if you want high quality carpets and want to see how carpet is made) and since that pushed our lunch later, they stopped and bought us snacks on their own dime. Above and beyond! We felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend for anyone.
