We were picked up by our guides Nour and George for around 9:20am instead of 9am. There was a slight delay as they could not find our hotel. Google maps would not show it so it is not their fault. The private driver was great, in 40 degree heat he made sure we were kept cool in the car and that we didn’t need too far to each location. We made our way to our first destination the Saqqara. Our guide brought us a falafel wrap, Egyptian coffee and water on the way. Please note the speed bumps in Egypt are no joke, we nearly bumped our heads off the ceiling a few times! If travelling with children I would advise your guide to take it slower. Our guide Nour was very knowledgeable about each site. It was quite hard to understand her because of her accent at times however we did understand around 80% of what she was saying. Nour took the best pictures and knew all the spots! It was also good because there are a lot of scammers at these locations. They did seem to back off because they knew Nour. I would say the negative is that we only spent around 20 minutes at every location. The interinary shown does not take into account the travel time to each location and time spent at shops. Around half way through the tour we stopped off for some shopping. We got some tea and coffee here. I did not feel pressure to buy anything however we did. Simply because Nour only took us to places that are approved by the government so no scams. It is a nice break especially when you have been in the heat all morning however I felt like we spent more time here than some of the attractions. After this in the afternoon we visited the pyramids of Giza. The tour felt rushed at this point. It was very busy and hot at this point. Nour took great pictures but again we were only here for around 10 minutes. Then we went for a camel ride. This was really enjoyable, I had fun even though initially I was scared at first. Note: the camels did have flies near them which attached to my clothes. I would bring a change of clothes just in case. After this we went for a late lunch at around 2/3. We got a mixed grill at this place which was very nice. Drinks are not included with this was was disappointing as it did not mention we did would need to pay extra for drinks. We were then dropped off home. Just want to say that Nour did help us with an extra request of finding an ATM so thanks. Overall, I think this a great tour for people to get all of the major sites in one day. It also is much safer going with a guide and you have a driver that takes you to each location. I did knock a star off for drinks. One bottle of water and Egyptian coffee is simply not enough in the Egyptian heat. I think this needs to be clearer so people be prepared or the tour guides should offer more. Also the tour felt very rushed in the afternoon and it seemed like we were not getting our moneys worth.

Incredible guide & time at the pyramids

My son and I had an incredible experience today at the pyramids and it is attributed to our wonderful knowledgeable guide, and our driver. They made our experience an exceptional one due to their vast knowledge, friendliness, flexibility, and downright southern hospitality in northern Egypt. I don’t know if I can say enough positive things about either one of them in this review because they were just incredible and made our time here a very comfortable one. Today’s experience made our trip a memorable one that we will not forget.

Best tour driver!

Our driver Desoky was on time, very friendly, generous, invited us to Egyptian coffee, showed us everywhere in Cairo and Giza. His driving skills are excellent and he made sure we were safe and good the entire time. When I come back to Egypt I want him as my driver. I highly recommend him. 5 stars!

Amazing tour guide!

Eman Hassan was our tour guide for the day and she was very friendly, kind and fun to get to know and be around. She was patient and explained a lot of Egypt history in our tour. She made sure we were ok and showed us so many wonderful places. We became friends and I will be contacting her when I come back to Egypt! Highly recommend. 5 stars!

Wonderful trip to Giza, Sakara,memphis

What can I say if you choose the trip you will have a great experience and will be in the safe hands of Eman and Hassan from start of the trip Eman the guide was so friendly and made us feel welcome she was very knowledgeable on all the sites we saw Hassan the driver was very nice and a very skilled driver who turned up on time and was very friendly we were taken for a very nice lunch choose this tour you will not be disappointed.

Amazing

A side trip you definitely don’t want to miss.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The tour guide is knowledgeable in Egyptology and easy going, pleasant. The driver was also very pleasant to work with. We especially like the camel ride and the Saqqara pyramid.

Viator failed in its job!

I am afraid to say Viator didn’t perform the services committed, so, we lost our first day in Cairo. I booked a daily tour for Cairo with a confirmed voucher in our hand, but nobody came to pick up us and even didn’t reply to our messages we sent to the tour provider. So, I had to book another one for the next day. Unfortunately, in the next day, the tour guide didn’t know how to handle that trip and spoke English with a local accent made it very difficult to understand. In addition, he explained something about the places we visited (pyramids, Saqqara, Memphis…) without any introduction or a brief history of them. So, we got lost in the irrelevant and discrete topics he told about places. One museum was in our tour to be visited for two hours, but he passed very fast from sculptures and finished the visit just in 30 minutes. Something like ignoring important steps to finish the tour faster! Also he suggested to visit a papyrus museum but when we arrived I realized it was a shop! Unfortunately it was an unpleasant memory!

Worth to try :)

The tour was great.. we discovered a lot about the Egyptian history with our knowledgeable guide Wael who was helpful and patient and got us ao many beautiful photo shots. We had a good ride too with our driver for the day Islam who was so nice and friendly and also helpful with telling us about the streets a places we asked about. All in all we had a great day. Thanks!

Pyramids and much more!

Nour was a great guide and the driver Bose was very calm while driving which is very nice cause usually it's quite the opposite in Egypt. Awesome time with really profesional guide and driver :)!

Incredible and memorable!

I went with my boyfriend on the this tour with guide Mary and Amir. Mary was the most incredible tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She took amazing pictures of us. She also gave really good advice as to what was worth seeing or not and made sure we did not waste money. We ate a delicious lunch at an authentic Egyptian place. The timing of everything was great. The camel ride was also very fun and was at the end with a great back drop of the pyramids of Giza.

Our tour guide was great....

Our tour guide was great. We had a wonderful tour. Only issue I had was the local company charge me an extra $50 for the hotel pick up and clearly that should’ve been included in the price that I already paid.

Best day trip ever!

This was the most amazing experience we had in Egypt and the best day tour I've ever been on. I'm so glad we booked the private tour instead of a group tour as our tour guide Bebo was really knowledgeable and helped us not only with the pyramids but about how to navigate being in Egypt, from tipping to where to shop and what to wear and even to spot those cheeky people trying to charge you to go to the loo lol. He was also a great photographer 📸 would recommend Bebo 10000000%! 🙌

A fast look at all the sights

We had our tour with Ahmed Elsayedand he was a great tour guide! We learned a lot about the history of the pyramids and the various kingdoms of ancient Egypt. He was a great photographer as well and took lots of pics for us. Overall, a GREAT tour and would recommend it for everyone!

Amazing sights, average guide

The sights were the most memorable. The guide (Mohammad known as Mimo) had a great knowledge. Just felt he wanted to be somewhere else. Sent driver with car to pick us up & joined us along the way. Went to Saqqara, Papyrus factory, Giza pyramids and then onto lunch, weren't interested in the camel ride at Giza. Pickup was 8am and returned by 2pm. Guide left us at lunch & driver returned us to the hotel. Saw what we wanted but not a great day.

Wonderful Ancient Egypt

It was all great. The great pyramid was a highlight. The guide was kind and knowledgeable, the driver was courteous and professional. Very satisfied overall.

Average tour, would not recommend

The tour started very in time and our guide was very friendly. The car was beautiful and the temperature inside was perfect. Unfortunately though, we were not impressed by the tour. Our guide didn’t really explain much about the Egyptian history, and he took us to 3 shops that he advertised as “cotton, papyrus, and perfume factories”. In reality, they were just normal shops where we could buy things. Lunch was extremely good, although we felt a bit rushed throughout the whole day, having only 10 minutes per “attraction”. At the end of the day, when we gave him and the driver a tip (100 Egyptian pounds each), he told us that they were not enough. We’d like to remind our guide that tips are voluntary, and asking for more money just made us feel uneasy. Last, we would like to apologise to our guide for speaking Italian over lunch time, even though he was at the table with us. In hindsight, this is very rude and we hope he wasn’t upset by this. We would like to point out that he was a really nice guy and always kept an eye on us, he explained a bit about the current situation in Egypt and answered a lot of our questions.

Amazing Ahmed

Our guide was outstanding!! Ahmed’s command of Egyptian history, facts , and context is amazing. Getting my wife and I around effortlessly and positioned to see and experience everything was incredible. I could not more strongly recommend him to others

Personalized tour at its finest

Nora & George were excellent! Very nice and made the tour enjoyable. I enjoyed the personalized experience. I visited the Giza pyramids the Sphinx, had a camel ride in front of the pyramids, and so much more. We went to lunch and had traditional Egyptian cuisine on a rooftop overlooking the city, and could see the pyramids. Much care was taken to ensure a great time was had.

Highly recommended

Gamel and George were phenomenal. I would highly recommend this tour. Communication was excellent as was all interactions with both the driver and tour guide.

Best tour for our short stay

Best tour for our very short stay in Cairo. We decided to take a private tour and we had the best time and company with Bassem (tour Driver) & Muhammad (Tour guide). Bassem will drive safely and had great conversation about architecture, city remodeling and culture. Muhammad made sure we were satisfied with all the information he provided us and made sure we were ok with suggestions on what to eat and places to go in between visits. We had great quality of time with tons of laughter 😊. Totally recommend these guys.

Disappointed

We liked the visit to Memphis where the guide explained things in detail. But later on, the guide became our photographer than a Egyptologist. We have really expected lot more knowledge knowledge sharing pyramids of Giza and sphinx. For example at sphinx, the guide told us to pose at locations with out explaining much about it.

Wonderful introduction to the last standing Wonder of the Ancient World!

Such a wonderful introduction to the last standing Wonder of the Ancient World! Michelle was our guide, and we would 10/10 recommend him! He coordinated with us the night before and picked us up on time. He taught us many interesting historical facts, and he knew all the places to take photos (and even some spots that aren’t on other people’s radars!). He even rewarded us with little treats when he had us guess the answers to fun facts along the trip. We had 3 interim stops between Saqqara and the pyramids where we were offered handmade rugs, perfumes, and papyrus to buy, which were time-fillers that were fine. Lunch was buffet-style at a pretty good restaurant that had Egyptian food as well as pizza. At the pyramids, we paid the extra EGP440 per person to go enter the Great Pyramid. It was worth it, but the passage requires ascending a narrow corridor in a squatting position, and the tomb area was like a sauna. Overall this was a great tour, and it also prepped us well for what to look for in the Egyptian Museum. Would definitely look into doing another tour with Michelle!

An amazing ride with Yasser, Moaz, and Islam

The driver was so skilled. Moaz was very nice and chill. He mostly drives for you, but don’t worry as he has done it his whole life. I wanted to do it all day. Tips are appreciated but not necessary.

Wonderful day spent at Cairo

My sister and I had an amazing experience with Mary and our driver, Amir. It was a great day tour at the pyramids, market, and museum. They also took us to other places that were interesting to us (we got to go to a Papyrus institute and bought art there). Mary was super knowledgeable about Egyptian history and she had a great energetic and friendly personality, which was awesome! She also gave us tips throughout the day on how to navigate through Cairo. Overall, Amir and Mary were super flexible throughout the day and we could not be happier with our experience in Cairo with them! We highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Egypt.

Cairo experience

Perfect day with Yasser from let’s explore Egypt, I had nothing to worry about thru my day except enjoying myself. I had my son worh me and Yasser kept him super engaged thru out the day.

Touring with Yasser and Huny!

Our time with Yasser was the best part of our tour! We went to the pyramids, sphynx, rode camels and four wheelers! Yasser is full of energy and an amazing photographer. He brought us to a local place for falafel and Huny made the ride smooth and quick to each destination. Would absolutely book again

Solid Experience

Bebo and Emil were great your guides and Peter was an awesome driver with getting around Cairo and Alexandria. Let’s Explore Egypt could have been a lot better with communication when we switched from Bebo to Emil on the third day to Alexandria. That morning we didn’t know when we were going to get picked up until I called Let’s Explore Egypt over 20 times. Other than this issue, the locations were phenomenal, the local food they chose was incredible, and they took care of us like family. Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing!!!

Could not have asked for a better full day tour! Our guide (Mohamed el Wazir) was exceptional. He went above and beyond to get us everything we wanted out of the day. He stopped for breakfast for us and paid for it, paid my small fee to use the restroom when I didn’t have any small enough change to use, and was so knowledgable about the history of everything we saw. We were absolutely stress free all day thanks to having him as our tour guide. So friendly and kind, and so polite. Always opening our doors for us and making sure the various vendors at the various stops we made were taking good care of us. We also made multiple stops at various Egyptian shops that were not included in the original itinerary, and we loved them all! Mohamed also made sure to take plenty of pictures of me and my husband together, which is great when you are on a two person trip with no one else to take photos of you together. Again could not recommend this tour and this guide more!

Happy Birthday to me!!!

We did this trip for my birthday, and I have very high expectations when I travel. I have to say, our guide (Mohamed el Wazir) was fantastic! He was very kind, patient, and full of information. The day did not start well for me, as I woke up hangry and ready to get the day over with. He was able to instantly change the mood and found a way to accommodate our immediate needs. My favorite portion was the pyramids since he was kind enough to instruct us on how to keep the hawkers and scammers away as well as ward them off too. He managed my fussy little group well and kept the good vibe going from start to finish. I will be back and I hope to get him again, he was a calming presence amongst the sea of excitement that is Cairo.

Pyramids Tour

It was a really nice experience to see all nice places around the pyramids and the pyramids as its self from near. Big praise for our tourguide Bisho, he has told us really interesting things about the pyramids etc. during the whole activity. We didnt know about the stops in the stores. It was really interesting to get this additional informations. However, we weren't willing to spend a lot of money, so we had to leave the shops 1/2 times with disappointed employees because we did not spend as much money as they wished.

Two days in Cairo

We spent two very interesting days with our guide Tifa and driver Mahmoud. We did a city tour to see the Khalili market, visited a giant and beautiful mosque and also the Egyptian Museum which currently houses King Tut’s artifacts. Tifa was like an encyclopedia of knowledge and is also very warm and friendly. We really enjoyed our tours.

Brilliant tour

I had a brilliant day seeing Saqqar, Memphis and Giza pyramids. Amr Mannaa was extremely knowledgable and gave a brilliant tour with the history of ancient Egypt. Ayman our driver was also fantastic. Thank you for a great day.

Sphinx Pyramids

Camel ride was well worth it going through the pyramid was good. Very narrow if your claustrophobic I wouldn’t recommend. Best experience ever. Also had the pleasure of meet Bebo our tour guide very knowledgeable and friendly.

Great fun visiting cairo with Mohamed el Wazir

It was an unforgettable experience. We will never forget this day where we visited the pyramids of gisa, the great museum and the kahlili market. Mohamed el Wazir is an excellent tour guide. He knows a lot about the Egyptian culture is flexible, respectful and fun. He explains everything in an easy way the understand. Although I knew some things I was amazed by all the facts he knows. Mohamed also helped with the locals, told us how much would be enough to tip and his presence was enough to keep annoying people away. He is also a good photographer. We decided to book him for another tour the next day. The driver Amir is also flexible fun and drives carefully.

Wonderful tour with the best guide and driver thanks to Mary and George

I was in Cairo for business and had only one day off, and this tour made my short stay unforgettable!! Mary is the best tour guide, super friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive to my wishes and the driver George just wonderful, I had a lot of fun with them besides being mesmerized by the visit to pyramids, sphinx museum of ancient civilization and the market. Highly recommend the tour and if you can do it with Mary and George even better!

Amazing day tour in Giza

Great experience in Giza. The guide, Salama, is an arqueologist who had a unique way of providing the information about the pyramids and other sites: lots of unique facts with a bried summary of the history. He knew that tourists will remember more about unique facts rather than ages and dimension, which you can always Google. He gave us a briefing of what to expect before arriving so we did not get scam, which was of great help. He had a lot of energy and was very entusiasthic. The trip was so interesting and everything flew smoothly. I highly recommend booking with him and this operator.

BEST PYRAMID TOUR

If you are looking for a pyramid tour, please take my word and do not look any further. This tour was by far more than my wife and I could have asked for. My wife and I came to Egypt for our honeymoon, and we wanted to make sure we had a tour booked for the pyramids in order to ensure we were able to see everything and understand the culture and history behind it. We decided to go with this private tour, and let me tell you, there is nothing but great things to say. Our tour guide, Ahmed Elsayed, was extremely knowledgeable in all the history behind Egypt itself and the pyramids. Ahmed and his driver, Andrew, arrived on time and greeted us with such warm hospitality. I had made some requests to stop for sunscreen and hats before our tour started and he was very accommodating, no questions asked. Being new to the country, he informed us of everything we were to expect, and what to do and not to do at all our stops. As the tour began, we were easily able to tell how passionate and knowledgeable he was about everything. The details he went through, the questions he answered, all made this tour more memorable than we could have imagined. His photography skills were on point as well, with some great action shots along with pictures throughout the entire day. My wife and I have learned so much on this tour and it was truly thanks to Ahmed. He made us feel extremely safe throughout the entire day and never left our side. We were so happy we did not do a group tour as we would not have had the same experience. We hit all the stops on the tour that were mentioned and had an amazing time. Even when buying souvenirs, he went out of his way to make sure we were getting a good deal. We were truly blessed to have Ahmed as our guide. Anyone looking for a tour, this private tour is the one.

Solid experience overall

Overall a solid experience. Pyramids at Saqqara were amazing and Memphis was also excellent - no complaints and amazing views! Probably the best part of the tour. Rug shop was an obvious tourist trap but interesting enough in process/product that I was okay with being led there. Giza pyramids was slightly disappointing in that by the description I'd presumed all-inclusive meant all the pyramids however seeing the insides is extra. I settled on the smaller pyramid which was cheaper but still very cool. Camel ride was very nice if a bit short at 20 mins Vs 30 mins advertised on site and 1 hour in person. Camel handler was also very greedy despite being offered a generous tip. Perfume and papyrus shops are 100% tourist traps they are incrntivised to go to for a return on the purchases however once I expressed no interest in the perfume shop we skipped the papyrus which was appreciated. Felucca ride was incredible and definitely recommend - if again a bit less than the 1h advertised. Lunch was good, if a little late as it was right near the end (3:00pm). It was annoying to pay for water/cola given it was all-inclusive. Both guide and driver were very nice and made an effort to make conversation/getting to know each other in between sites and was very knowledgeable. Overall a very good day!

Great experience with private guide

My experience with my guide was incredible. It made exploring Cairo so much easier and made it so we could do everything I wanted. My guide Mr. Ahmed Elsayed was perfect. He was very personable and genuinely seemed like he enjoyed what he was doing which is rare to find with these kinds of tours (and I have done A LOT). When I come back to Egypt, I hope that I can once again be with Ahmed I would fully recommend this tour
