Waleed was a great tour guide! The bus picked up promptly at the assigned pickup spot and we received a whatsapp message a day before to remind us. We covered all the spots mentioned on the itinerary and the guide gave us information about the context of events in the history and the significance of the spots. Also finished with a peaceful tea by the palace and ocean in Alexandria. The drive to and from Cairo was smooth and the car was cool despite being 40 celsius outside.

That was an excellent trip to Aleksandria with several stops at Aleksandria‘s key historical highlights. Our tour guide Mohamed displayed profound knowledge on Egypt‘s history and was excellent in bringing the past to life with his friendliness, energy, enthusiasm and exiting story telling. Mohamed‘s command of English is perfect he was flexible to react to special request. Overall, we have enjoyed our trip to Alexandria very much. Big thank to our driver as well who managed to navigate us savely through the challenging and partially chaotic traffic situations from Cairo to Aleksandria 🙏

Our guide Mohammed was amazing. Funny and very knowledgable. This tour was very informative. All the places we visited were nice but the one I was most amazed by was the Catacombs. This tour is a must do if you’re short on time in Egypt. If you are staying in Cairo, be prepared that Cairo is 3 hrs from Alexandria and the traffic in spots in bad.

Alexandria Day Tour

Took a trip out here with some friends and we had a great time with our guide Mohammed. Got to see the oldest coptic church on the continent, the Catacombs, an ancient Roman city/amphitheater, the Turkish Gardens and some other things. This is a great way to see some of the sights in Alexandria. Mohammed was extremely knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. If you have the time and want to see Alexandria I would recommend taking this tour. Thanks again Mohammed!

Took a day trip to Alexandria from Giza, and had an amazing time. The Coptic Church was beautiful, and the Roman catacombs were stunning and worth the trip alone.

Alexandria Tour

Guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the city, however could have done without the gift shop at the end. Overall very good experience if you are interested in the history of the city.

Alexandria is a must see

This was only a day trip, but it was packed full of history. The Catacombs of Kom El-Shokafa, Pompey's Pillar, Citadel of Qaitbay, and finally the Alexandria Library. Either one made it worth the trip. Our guide Amr Aswany was the consummate history teacher. He's pretty handy when it comes to choosing the right pictures to take, as well.The day was topped off with a lunch of some of Alexandria's fresh seafood. Book this tour and be sure to mention Amr Aswany. You will not be disappointed!

Day Trip to Alexandria from Cairo

Let me start with the Driver. His name is Abdallah. He arrived on time. He did not speak much English but used Google Translation. He is the funniest driver I have ever met. He kept us entertained all the way and back. He had us in stitches. Would recommend. Clean car. Safe driver. Turning now to Waleed our guide. He met us in Alexandria. He was with us all day. Fluent English. He was very informative, knowledgeable and did answer all our questions. He was not rushed. Showed us everything with patience and gave us more time if needed. I would recommend him highly. When booking ask for him. He is also a great photographer so use him when needed. In summary a wonderful day where we learnt a lot about history of Alexandria thanks to Waleed.

We came to Alexandria for a family wedding but wanted to see the city. Karim was an excellent guide who showed us all the top sites in an order that allowed us to beat the heat and beat traffic.... His knowledge and love for the city is apparent as nd his jokes are one of a kind. Definately a great way to spend he day.

We had a great driver, Ahmed, who treated us like family. He drove us from Cairo to Alexandria, and to the various sites in Alexandria. We would definitely recommend him!

Excellent tour which I recommend when visiting Alexandria

I met up with my guide Mohammed, our driver and a couple of other tourists. We set off in the comfortable air-conditioned minibus to visit and learn about the historic, wonderful Montaza Royal Palace. Following the Palace we visited the modern Alexandria Library/planetarium complex, where Mohammed told us of the history regarding Alexander the great and the ancient library of Alexandria and it's fate. He also gave us and incite into the modern Library and the adjacent University of Alexandria. Afterwards we visited the amazing Catacombs of Kom el Shuqafa in the old city of Alexandria which was so fascinating to see and learn about it's history. Our journey continued to the Kom el Dikka archaeological site to view and learn about the history of the ancient baths, auditoria and amphitheatre. Currently there is an ongoing archaeological dig at the site which is hopefully uncovering even more history and treasures from the past. Lastly before lunch we paid a visit to the historic Church of St Mark, following which we had an amazing lunch of fresh mullet fish, potatoes and arabic salad assortment. After a very satisfying lunch we travelled firstly to the castle of Qaitbay Citadel where we heard about the ancient lighthouse that once stood there and afterwards on which the foundations of the Castle were built. Last visit of our trip was Morsi Abu alabas mosque where we learned about the fascinating history of the person it is named after. We explored inside this largest mosque (there are 3 mosques beside each other) amongst the worshippers, took photos and were inspired with the size and design of the building structure. This was a very educational and worthwhile trip thanks to the wealth of knowledge Mohammed has in Egyptian history. I both our guide and driver for this trip and recommend to everyone.

Perfect tour! The tour guide Karim was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The driver also did a very good job driving us all day. We saw a lot of different sites in a single day. We really recommend it!

Whirlwind and worthwhile tour of Alexandria

I enjoyed this tour a lot. It is a good one-day introduction to Alexandria if you are short on time. Our guide Mohammed was very good. He has an MA in hieroglyphs so he was able to read the ancient Egyptian language to us which was very cool. He also had a lot of historical knowledge. Our lunch was good and overall the day was well spent. Thank you, Mohammed!

Amazing knowledge

This was amazing!!!!! How did they know about air conditioning back in ancient times? And using sandrock to keep the place cool , so much increable knowledge. The knowledge of rocks and being able to build something that still stands it's mind bending. The guide Mohammed build excellent rapport with the group picked a very nice restaurant in Alexandria and treated everyone to a delicious ice cream. The guide Eman was a very well educated lady into the pyramids history she also built a friendly atmosphere during the trip while staying professional at all times. Amazing experience

Such an amazing tour! My guide was so intelligent and knowledgeable, the driver was speedy and friendly, and the tour took me everywhere I could possibly hope to go. With only a day in Alexandria, I feel like I saw so much of the city thanks to this tour.

Best way to enjoy Alexanderia

The tour in Alexandria was great with Mohammed, our tour guide. He was always with a bright energy and thanks to him Alexandria will be remembered such a beautiful city to me.

Not a good experience, and we would not recommend it

Our journey, to Alexandria got off to a start despite us being punctual for our pickup at the hotel as we had to wait for another couple. This delay set us back a couple of hours making the tour feel rushed from one stop to the next. During the scorching summer day we were hoping for water at the beginning of the tour. It wasn't provided until later in the day after we raised the issue. Although lunch was supposed to be included to save time we ended up waiting an hour for our meal. Furthermore on our way to Giza our driver drove recklessly. Ended up in a minor collision with another car while we were stopped at a petrol station. Adding to our troubles during drop off the driver acted inappropriately by touching my sisters butt as she was getting out of the vehicle last. Overall this day trip left much to be desired and was not a good experience and is not recommended for Ladies Group travelers due, to safety concerns.

A memorable and meaningful Tour of Alexandria

This day trip to Alexandria was amazing. The guide Mr. Kareem, ensured we made the most out of it. The story-telling and his grasp of the history is amazing which made the tour more meaningful and entertaining. Everything was planned and executed well with a lot of joke deliveries along the way. A very satisfying trip with smiles and happy memories at the end of the day.

What an absolutely fantastic day! The driver and guide were very punctual and our day started out well. We saw so many different places throughout Alexandria, and it was nice to get a flavor of what this wonderful city has to offer. Waleed, our guide, is exceptional. He provided us just the right mix of information and our time to view each place. Our driver was very responsive and a joy to be around as well! I highly recommend!

Exploring Alexandria with Mohamed

We had a fabulous two days touring around “Alex” with Mohamed. Loved having a truly local guide (lived in Alexandria his whole life). Mohamed’s knowledge of the local history is excellent, he is easy to understand and has a great sense of humor. We covered everything in our original itinerary and then some. We would highly recommend Mohamed as a guide!

Great day in the great Alexandria

Mohammed was an excellent guide. Very informative, friendly and very funny too. He took us to see all the sights around Alexandria while also giving explanations for each and more info when riding around in the Car. The driving is around 3 hours to Alexandria and back again but this is part of the journey because of the distances between the cities but the Van was very comfortable with plenty of space and AC. For the food it was good and in a very nice restaurant but if you don't want to deal with bones maybe get the chicken. Mohammed was also courteous and helpful with pictures. Would highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour of major sites.

Was very pleased with tour. Our tour guide, Wally, was funny and engaging, keeping us laughing about the donkey throughout the tour and adding local stories throughout. Our lunch was exceptional. Do not schedule anything on this day besides the tour! It’s a long drive to Alexandria and subject to unexpected delays for long lines, late arrivals and busy kitchen. Also, make sure to bring Egyptian pounds for incidental expenses such as water, tips, and the cart ride to the tea house, which is definitely worth seeing.

Great service and quality

It was excellent - the transport, the guide Waleed and quality of his historical narrative. Although it took as 2.5 hour from Cairo to Alexandria, it was straight highway and the driver Kaleed was experienced. While in Alexandria Waleed was following without rush the progrpam sport and was explaining everything clearly, without heavy accent. He was engaging and patient, making sure we follow. At the end we asked for water and he did buy a bottle. Very high quality service!

One day trio to Alexandria

The views and history was very enriching. Our guide Waleed was extremely knowledgeable and took his time explaining each and every detail. Did not feel like a rushed day at all even though we covered a lot of sights. As a solo female traveller this trip was very comfortable, our guide was especially kinda taking pictures for me whenever I wanted them which is a plus for me.

Whirlwind tour of Alexandria

We were able to fit a lot in during our short time in Alexandria. Be aware you’ll spend more time traveling to and from Cairo than you will in Alexandria, but in my opinion, it was worth it. We hit all the highlights and with our small group had plenty of time to take all the photos we wanted. (If you want to go into the library, this isn’t the tour for you). As a solo female traveler, I was a little wary about a private tour and so I was happy to be part of a small group. If you opt for the included seafood lunch, be advised you’ll be served a whole fish (head and everything). Our tour guide Mohammed was high energy and shared a ton of good info. Make sure you pack enough water tho, the tour doesn’t include it and you definitely will find yourself needing it if you run out!

A great guide can make the difference

Today’s tour was awesome We had a great time with our fantastic guide Mohamed. We met him in Alexandria. Our tour departed from Cairo, a nice van with AC with our professional driver who drove us during the whole tour and brought us back to Cairo. Mohamed’s knowledge impressed us a great deal. He was very nice to us all the time and we learned from him. He is knowledgeable in history and his English is perfect. Mohamed was so nice that he even bought ice cream for us. He shows pasión for his work. Thanks to him our trip to Alexandria was a total success.

I am so happy to have booked this excursion last minute. Waleed, our guide, was super knowledgeable, hilarious, accommodating, and made sure each of us had a great time. Alexandria in 1 day wasn't enough time and I wish we could have spent more time there, but even with the limited time we had, it was absolutely phenomenal!

Mohammed was a wonderful tour guide. He toll us a lot of interesting facts abut the City. We liked the Catacombs the best they where really beautiful! The drive is quite long from cairo because of the traffiv, but the driver made sure we were alright the whole time.

Alexandria trip- Amazing

The tour pricing was reasonable and the guide was incredible, friendly and knowledgeable. Though it was a small group we made good memories out of it.

Good if you only have 1 day

The tour guide was very attentive and knowledgeable, he provided detailed explanation on all the sites we walked by. We felt we just did a superficial trip though, no entry to Alexandria library, nor Qaitbay citadel. St Mark's church was closed for Easter and we only found out on the spot. So we paid a guided tour with the entrance included, but the only paid things we actually entered were the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the Roman Amphitheater and the gardens of Montazah Palace. We just had one day, so we're happy we took his tour as we would not be able to visit all these sites on our own, but it's good that you manage your expectations before you go.

Guide Mohammed was very nice and he detailed about the history of Alexandria. Great experience by me. Alexandria was best known for the Lighthouse of Alexandria (Pharos), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World; its Great Library, the largest in the ancient world; and the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.

He even gave me answers regarding questions I had of the Egyptian culture andMohammed was one of the best 𓈖 𓄿 𓋴 𓂋🦹🏻‍♂️ Tour Guide 🦹🏻‍♂️‘s in Egypt that I worked with.
