Ours, Khaled El saady Was very punctual on sending the itineraries the night before, with all the detailed information, The anticipation of what’s Ahead will help to forget that you got up at 4 o’clock in the morning. The temples are amazing. One is greater and more magnificent than the next. The month of October is very crowded because everybody loves to come after the long, hot Summer moms so expect to see a lot of people expect to have people pushing you getting in front of you to take their selfie’s and their photos. Never the less the experience is unforgettable.

Great way to see the Nile sites

This is definitely a great way to see some really amazing sights in relatively comfortable digs. It’s an action packed four days with very early wake ups but the sites are amazing. Khalid was an enthusiastic tour guide and was very entertaining. He gives an interesting context and perspective versus just reciting facts. Five stars to his guiding and to all of the staff we encountered. I would set your expectations appropriately for the ship, which is showing it’s age and is more of a western three star versus five star accom, but food was delicious and staff eager to please. The entry fees and a number of excursions aren’t included, so would budget a few hundred bucks extra for those in addition to budgeting for drinks on the ship. If you have extra time maybe consider seeing Abu simbel on your own before starting as that was a long driving day, but it’s a must see.

Amazing trip in Egypt

Khaled was an amazing tour guide through our tour in Egypt. We went to all the major sites and he gave an in depth and engaging description for each site. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Egypt to book this tour as you’ll really get the most of the history and culture.

A once in a lifetime experience!

The tour was great! We arrived on a Friday evening in Cairo and we did the pyramids on the first day and Luxor on the second day. They made sure we would see everything even though our itinerary was a bit different. It was a great experience overall and Khaled was a fantastic guide. He was very kind and knowledgeable. The Nile Cruise was great. I would recommend this tour!

Amazing guide through ancient Egypt

Visiting ancient Egypt was a once in a lifetime experience. It definitely lived up to all expectations I could have. Khaled, our guide in Luxor, made it all the best. Khaled is an enthusiast about ancient Egypt, he was eager and excited to answer our doubts. After finishing his explanations and giving us free time he even would go to show us a few extra curiosities in the temples. He would give us tips in interacting with locals and not paying for things unless we had to. He took us to a traditional restaurant, which was really nice. He would accommodate if we had any requests, for example I wanted to visit a mosque in the city and he made sure to take me and give me a tour. He was definitely the best guide we had during our trip in Egypt. We also had an amazing group in Egypt to do the tours with us. The only note I would have on the cruise is that food could be better but otherwise 10/10 recommend

Tour covered all the highlights of Egypt. Peter and his team was very helpful in organising the trip. Khalid was extremely knowledgeable. I suggest standing firm on the itinerary to ensure you cover everything but overall a wonderful experience.

Egypt cruise

We had a criuse 4 days, with khaled the tour guide, we had a lovely visits to the nubian Village, Abu Simbel also valley of the Kings and Karnak temple, The boat, food, every thing was great, wonderful times , thank you khaled

The tour goes through many of the important sites and our tour guide made sure he explained everything, and he was very enthusiastic in keeping us all engaged. He was patient with the group, since we all wanted to see different things, and gave us time when we needed it to either shop, take pictures or walk around. This tour was great!

Excellent guide, friendly service, well organised tour

Every aspect of the tour from the booking, transfers, transport and accommodation were well organised and comfortable. Everyone taking care of us was friendly, welcoming and helpful but the star was our guide Talaat Abdo who was outstanding. His breadth of knowledge on all aspects of ancient Egyptian civilization was truly impressive. He kept us engaged with each lesson at 10 different temples, made recommendations and gave us choices to do extra activities. Talaat was friendly and entertaining, we would highly recommend him as a guide. Do be warned, this tour packs a huge anount of travel and sites into a short timeframe, there isnt much breathing time so if you can, try to do the longer version (8 days) allowing some more time to relax on the ship and take in the majestic beauty of Egypt and its ancient culture.

Touching experience

Great experience. The boat is good, meals great, and the the tour guide Khaled super, very unknowledgeable, he manges our interest with the whole group! Being in the Nile is a leaving experience!

Aswan must see location

If you’re wondering wether to skip Aswan and just go to Luxor think again. Some of the best temples and sites in Egypt are down here - especially Abu Simbel. Our guide was friendly and knowledge and left ample free time to explore and get pictures. Entry fees are not included but it’s well worth visiting each site, even the optional ones.

A really memorable experience

This was a really memorable tour. The sights were out of this world (abu simbel in particular). Our guide Khalid was lovely and knowlegeable, and helped us resolve a variety of issues throughout the trip. Entrance fees into temples and cruise tips are added on top so be prepared to spend about $100-200 extra-- but it's all worth it. As with all touristy things in Egypt, you will come across many aggressive vendors, so it's good to come prepped with a bit of grit and a sense of humour, and make sure you have a guide that helps you avoid falling into sales traps! Khalid helped us get bargains on amazing souvenirs. We thoroughly recommend the tour and are SO glad we didn't skip the amazing sights in and around Aswan!

Exellent experience except for the sleeper train

The train sleeper was tiring as the journey was long and the train was old and shakes a lot. I DO NOT recommend for people who look for comfort or elder person. The cruise was excellent : comfortable room, nice food, nice staff (especially in the restaurant) A comfortable limousine and knowledgeable guide were reserved for us for the historical site visits in Aswan and Luxor. Visits in Kom Ombo and Esna where with a larger group of around 25 tourists. A delegate came to meet us at cairo airport he helped us go throught all visa procedure which was helpfull (this service was a free extra as it was not included in the original program).

Great experience with Hany and SpongeBob group

We took a 4 days Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor during the Christmas holidays including New Years eve. The tour was great - all activities on time, knowledgable guide (Hany, thanks), good service and airconditioned transportation. We also booked an Abu Simbel tour on the second day which I highly recommend. You have plenty of time to do both, sightseeing and also chilling on the deck during the cruise. You see all the major memorials and get to know a lot about the ancient Egyptians. Overall great experience and highly recommended!

Amazing Trip

From the minute we arrived from the train in Aswan, we were completely taken care of. Hany was an amazing tour guide from taking personal care of all guests to engaging lectures at the sites. His interactive lectures at the sites and temples really brought the history to life. My teens were totally engaged which isn't sometimes easy to do. He gave thorough information, but also allowed for plenty of free time to never feel rushed. Included lots of extras. Would highly recommend! The food on the boat was excellent as well as the service on the boat. We didn't want for anything the whole time and enjoyed this trip so much!

If you want a big adventure

The Nile Cruise is a must do. The places are much more beautiful than Cairo. The boat we had was also five star. Our tour guide Talaat Abdo was very informative and helpful. From the moment we step on the boat until the last day when we boarded the sleeper train. Great experience.

An Fun, Informative, and Beautiful Adventure in Egypt

Talaat was an awesome tour guide! Very friendly and knowledgeable about many aspects of the sites we visited, and handled all of the questions we had to throw at him. His humor helped keep things interesting and he was very personable with each individual. He was very accomodating and made sure that we were all having a great experience at every step along the way. He also made sure that we were kept informed about the next day's itinerary, and was quick to inform us of any changes in scheduling. Ended up being a great experience, I would recommend taking this tour to anyone looking to explore the great temples and cities along the Nile.

Talaat, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing. He was friendly to work with and with every tour on our many visits, I felt completely comfortable and safe. His knowledge on Egyptian history and the sites are vast and enriched my own view on the ancient Egyptian culture. Highly recommended.

Aswan to Luxor tour

Talat has a broad knowledge about the Egyptian history. He was very helpful and even borrowed us his router for Wifi. He did a lot of extras for us.The tour was a great success and highly recommended.

Great trip, variety of experiences

First, it's important to know that the primary role of this tour operator (the people you pay the money to) is to provide guides and transfers from one transportation mode to another. It's a different guide in each place, and they were pretty good, except for the trip to Abu Simbel, where the guide didn't show up; this wasn't much of a problem. Now, for the components of the trip: - Overnight trains to Aswan and from Luxor: you wouldn't expect trains in Egypt to be like the ones in France, and they aren't, but they are adequate. And unexpected benefit is that they provide meals, and they were pretty good. One problem on the southbound trip was people smoking in the hallways; this didn't happen on the northbound trip. - The boat trip was pretty good; good food and lots of it. The cabin was great. One pleasant surprise was the Isna locks; it's a technology you learn about in school, but rarely experience. Two problems; The sun deck (the entire top floor, which includes a pool and a bar) was "smoking everywhere". A lot of the staff were "trained seals"; they have a rudimentary knowledge of English, and aren't really capable of responding to requests.

Great trip, very well coordinated

This was a great trip and really the best way to see the sights of Aswan and Luxor. Our guides--Magdi (Big Mac) in Aswan, Mohammed in Kom Ombo, Khaled in Luxor, and (I didn't get his name) in Edfu--were fantastic and very informative. In all but Edfu, my friend and I were the only ones on the tour, so it was essentially a private tour. All our drivers were very courteous and friendly, and it's so nice to be driven from site to site in an air-conditioned car. The sleeper train was nicer than I expected based on other reviews, with clean bathrooms and comfortable enough beds. Our ship was the MS Hapi V, and I was also pleasantly surprised by the cabin, as large as a hotel room, and the food was good. I'd definitely recommend this tour and this company!

Very good and informative guide

Talaat, the guide met us much before our tour started, briefed about the entire 4 days of the itinerary for us to be prepared and have an idea of the entire plan. He was really very informative and was really kind and patient to answer us if we had any repetitive questions. He was there ready for us much before time . Very pleasant and smiling person and I really recommend him to everyone . We had a great stay and tour with him :)

Very good guide!

Talaat was very knowledgeable Egyptologist! Very clear and thorough in explanations. Additional tours were over priced compared to others serviced by a different vendor in the same tour. I’d encourage some transparency in pricing to avoid surprises and improve customer experience.

Tour guide is great & worked very hard to have the best tour experience while selection of cruise lines could be better

Egypt Best Holiday tour group guide is very customer focused. Especially when the issue arises, they were working very hard to resolve the issue. For example, while our return sleeper ticket needs to be on an early train when the original ticket was for later train for us to catch our flights, Tour guide worked very hard to change the ticket to an earlier train so it gives us ample time for our flights. Tour Guide should get a 5 star -rating while selection of cruise line deserves a 4 star rating as comparing with other cruise lines based on the service like Wi-Fi and quality of cruise facilities.

AWESOME ASWAN TO LUXOR NILE CRUISE

I have traveled multiple times on an ocean liner, but this was my first 'RIVER' cruise, and it was everything I expected. Unlike ocean liners, which are basically floating cities, this Nile boat was laid back and relaxing. My cabin was on the first floor - which I initially did not like because half my cabin was below water level, but the view was gorgeous. The suite had a big panoramic window which was only inches above water level, offering a fantastic view ACROSS the water. I found it most delightful and grew to appreciate being on the 1st level. Definitely 5 stars for the staff who where all friendly, helpful and called you by your name (very impressive). Meals were buffet style and each dinner offered a different international theme. Accommodations were comfortable and exceeded expectations. My ONLY complaint was that coffee was complimentary at breakfast, but cost money if you had coffee at different times of the day. I am an avid coffee drinker, drinking 4-6 cups of coffee a day, so it was bothersome to have to pay for it after breakfast. Excursions were plentiful and well planned. OVERALL, it was an excellent experience and I enjoyed the entire trip.

Excellent, well-guided tour

I am, by nature, an independent traveller. I am also not a cruise ship person. However, when I decided to visit Egypt, after much research and assessing prices of various components, I decided to go with this tour. I was 100% satisfied with it and felt I got excellent value for money. The package included pick up/drop off in Cairo, trains from Giza to Aswan and Luxor to Cairo in a sleeper cabin (all to myself), 4 days/3 nights on a quality river boat, a guide (Talaat) who was with us at all times, all transport components to and from the boat and train stations. What it did not include was drinks, tickets to sites, and the ever present tips along the way (I will add, I grew to be increasingly comfortable with this as life can be challenging in Egypt, and working in the tourism industry is a decent job, and all of these guides help support a large community). Let my start by saying the operator (Peter) was very professional and responsive to manage my expectations. Next, Talaat was a rock star and did an exceptional job - juggling our group’s diverse trip plans, ensuring we got to all the sites and keeping us on time, understanding that we were independent travellers and avoiding the typical stops at artisans, guiding us through each site to ensure we got the best possible experience, and most importantly, was a wealth of knowledge and provided valuable context to why each site was important. I really can’t thank him enough for working with me and making this trip special. The ship was comfortable and the food was of decent quality (there is good food here in Egypt, but it isn’t quite the culinary destination),and I was able to easily work around my no wheat/sugar/deep fried restrictions and eat quite well. The cruise was also a great way to witness the land as we headed down the river. And their unique docking protocol and going through the lock in Esna added to the experience. Overall, I got to visit 9 significant sites, of which 6 were UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Highly recommend.

Nile River Cruise

Sleeper train - not much of a sleeper train, very cramped, loud and noisy. Instead of taking the train the last day we booked a flight from Luxor to Cairo we did not like the train! Nile Cruise - the customer service was great, bedrooms were very nice, unfortunately our room was near the engines and was extremely loud while the boat was moving, we couldn't be moved because the boat was full. I highly suggest asking to move if you can! Food was mediocre but enough to get by. The pool on top deck was small but just want you needed. Tours - Most of the entrance fees are extra so be prepared to spend a bit more than what is listed on the price plus tipping. Lots of tipping, everywhere you go they ask for a tip. Try to carry small bills for that reason. The tours are mostly In the early mornings 5-6am and they try to get you back before the boat leaves again around 8-9am. Sometimes you felt a bit rushed due to this factor. All tour guides spoke very good English and very knowledgeable. Overall, It was a great way to see the country and sailing on the Nile was beautiful. I wish the whole price included the entrance fees, so maybe tack on an extra $200 per person for that maybe even more.

Amazing tour

This was an amazing tour with Hany Yassen. He did a great job explaining all of the sites we visited and took perfect pictures. He was funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. This was my first time in Luxor and I learned so much. He greeted me with a smile and kept smiling all day. Amazing man and amazing tour. Thank you Hany Yassen for making this trip memorable!!!

Overall it was a good tour

Our tour guide was knowledgeable enough to provide a lot of information. Our tour group was multinational and I enjoyed talking with them.The room was decent and clean though it was a bit old and a hairdryer in the room didn't work properly. The Nile river view from the room and on the deck was spectacular. We had buffet meals with different types of cuisine. In addition to the tour cost, you need to expect additional expenses: admission fees to the sites, fees for additional activities; water and beverages; tips for your tour guide, drivers and roomkeepers.

Adventure and luxury.

Some of the astounding treasures of Egypt were nicely explored with this fine tour. The Watania night sleeper train really does start the trip on a note of high adventure. River boat Radamis 1 was nicely appointed, very comfortable and well provisioned - well suited for a cruise down the Nile. The staff on board was also very professional and eager to please. At each stop - Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor there was a modern private car with driver and a personal tour guide. All of the guides were knowledgeable and professional with Michael in Aswan and Hani in Luxor going above and beyond in providing an excellent experience. Just a couple of minor issues detracted from the trip including not knowing who the tour guide was going to be on advance and the compulsory shopping stops. I compliment Peter in constructing an affordable, highly informative and safe individualized adventure without the need for being on a large group tour.

We booked the cruise through Egypt Best Holidays. The crew on the cruise were friendly and helpful, great variety of food but drinks are not free. WiFi is not complimentary too, 10 usd per day. The room is clean, decent space for 2. Hair dryer is old, takes really long to dry the hair. Our guide has been accommodating. Overall experience was nice. If you would like to take excursion trips from them do consider twice. We booked excursion trip before arrival, upon arrival the guide was asking other guests in our group to join offering less than half of the price we paid. That’s ridiculous but we had to pay cause it’s being agreed earlier.

Highly Recommended

Everything was great!! The river-boat, the rooms, the food, and the crew were excellent. We had an amazing time in the deck with music and dancing. Moreover, the cruise allowed us to see the most important ancient Egyptian sightseeings. Our tour guide Hany was very friendly, kind, funny and has great knowledge about the ancient Egyptian civilization. I would recommend this cruise to anyone interested to explore this wonderful country.

Excellent experience from Aswan to Luxor!

With friends, I joined this tour from Aswan Railway station. Hany, our tour guide warmly welcomed us and other participants. He was a very organized, experienced, fun tour guide. He was always smiling and took care of us very thoroughly. The cruise ship was big, clean and well maintained. All the staffs were extremely kind and helpful. Wasim, the manager of the cruise ship took care of me by always asking me if everything is alright. Food was also tasty, and the upper terrace had a big fresh swimming pool. I often spent my time there to enjoy sunshine and relax. Although this was my first time experience in such a trip, I really enjoyed my stay in this cruise ship. In the activities, Hany was really professional and made sure everything went smoothly. He also explained us all the histories in the all the sites we visited. I will not forget Abu Simbel Temple and the Valley of the King. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who want to visit Aswan, Luxor and other Nile cities :) Thank you again for this wonderful experience!

An unforgettable experience

The cruise we undertook allowed us to see many magnificent ancient Egyptian sites in four days in the very capable hands of our tour guide Hany, a great guy who was very passionate and knowledgeable about the subject and was always willing to help out whenever necessary.
