BUYER BEWARE! I booked my reservation 3 months in advance and they cancelled my cruise booking 5 days before it left. The reason I was given was that they found a private group willing to pay more. Bad business practices. I have non refundable flights and hotels. They have ruined my vacation.

Brilliant trip with lovely local guides

We had a lovely experience - despite the scorching weather in August, both our tours in Aswan and Luxor were well-tended. Mustafa is very kind to take care of us although we had a different journey from the rest of the group and Mido is the most knowledgeable tour guide ever and has told us so much about the history and interesting facts of Luxor. Really recommend this trip!

A great and comfortable way to visit the Ancient Egypt.

We had a fantastic time crusing on the MEDEA on the Nile. The staff, the boat, the food was really great! Hani our guide shared with us his knowledge of the Ancient time. A very nice experience, I highly recoomend!

Wonderful Time with Imperial Egypt 3D/2N to Aswan and Luxor

We just returned from an excellent tour with Imperial Egypt. From the get go, the tour coordinator Hany was incredibly responsive and helpful. I feel like I asked a million questions, but he was always patient and prompt in responding. There was some slight confusion in the middle of our tour, but working with Hany we were able to get things cleared up quickly and easily. He even upgraded our rooms free of charge - it was a wonderful surprise! There's so many wonderful things to be said about our tour guide Mostafa Molattam - he was incredibly knowledgeable (we had loads of questions throughout the duration of the tour, but he was always quick and detailed in answering), warm and truly a joy to be around. It felt much more like hanging out with an incredibly informed friend than a tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him over the three days. He really went above and beyond to make sure we saw and did everything we wanted to, even though the tour is pretty packed already. We hope our paths cross again! Overall a wonderful company to book with. If you are a planner like me, these are your people. They are prompt, organized and really try hard to make sure you can see as much as possible in a short amount of time. We hope to return without having to rush in the future, but very grateful for our time spent with Imperial Egypt.

My amazing cruise experience in Luxor & Aswan

I booked our 4 days cruise through the company and they were very helpful in answering all our questions and give all the help we needed during the cruise. Our guide: Abdulhadi was amazing guide, shared lots of info with us, very useful hints and tips, he was very caring and friendly. Also Mr, Hani our main focal contact foe the whole trip. I strongly recommend them if you are planning any trip to Egypt, especially Luxor & Aswan as we enjoyed all the activities they arranged for us, especially the hot air ballon.

An amazing tour packed ful lof sights

We had a wonderful 3 night, 4 days cruise with private tours around the temples and sights from Aswan to Luxor, and Abu Simbel. It was non-stop sightseeing -Abu Simbel, Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Luxor, Valley of the Kings (Hatshepsut's site & more. The highlight was our tour guide Mostafa Molattam who was with us for the entire trip, from picking us up at the airport in Aswan, to drop off at Luxor. ​He was passionate, kind, friendly, and extremely accommodating. He is very knowledgeable and his English is very good. We learned so much during our 4 day tour and he was open to many questions. He was available 24/7 for any of our needs. It was lovely to have him stay on the ship for the duration and are therefore ready to initiate each day trip before breakfast. We could not have been given better service. The cruise organised by the company, Imperial Egypt, was very comfortable. The ship, Jaz - Crown Jubilee was in good condition and the services of the staff, facilities and rooms were clean and excellent. The food on the cruise was very good, rooms were clean, beautiful view from the top of the ship which had a pool and bar. Also, beautiful view from the room windows. The staff was very attentive and very friendly. Hany the tour operator is also very professional and kept in touch with us by WhatsApp. Mostafa is a trained Egyptologist, and the passion he has for his job is apparent, whether describing the battle scenes depicted on the outside wall of the temples, or when deciphering the hieroglyphics to tell the stories of Kings, Pharaohs and Gods. An awesome experience to hear the history from someone like him. In addition, Mostafa attended to our every need effortlessly and proactively. Transportation was very comfortable and always there waiting. Mostafa was accommodating, and is very caring that is above and beyond his job requirements, whether recommending local food, arranging PCR tests, arranging to load my phone with mobile data, exchanging currency, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this tour option and requesting Mostafa as the guide! We felt like we had a friend who could help us with all we needed and not just our tour guide. The Nile River cruise exceeded our expectations. Loved it! All in all, the experience with Imperial Egypt was excellent!

Amazing and well planned experience

From start to finish our trip with Imperial Egypt had 0 issues. We booked directly through the Imperial Egypt site, and Hany was extremely prompt with his emails and follow-up. We had questions answered and the booking completed within 2 days. We made it a point to book directly with operators since we know how much the country has been impacted by the loss of tourism dollars, and wanted to make sure they received every cent. We had a great guide for our entire trip. Hady is knowledgable and funny! He made our trip very enjoyable. He explained all things about Egyptology to us, and has a thorough background of information since he went to school for it. And he was always on time! We definitely recommend that you ask for him as a guide! Our driver was also fantastic. We felt safe with him navigating us through our sites. We were driven from Aswan to Luxor, which gave us an opportunity to really see the local areas. This was a great trip, and we recommend Hady and Imperial Egypt for you!

Great Visit to Aswan and Luxor

My wife and I took a 3 days/2 nights trip with Imperial Egypt Tours. The arrangements during the whole trip was beyond our expectations. The prompt response from Hany for every question to the most valuable and knowledgeable guides: Moataz in Aswan and Mohammad Musa in Aswan were extremely patient with us throughout our stay. The driver Mukhtar was a safe and ever smiling at the customers. The history and topography in these two ancient cities are remarkable to see, inspire yourself and see the contrast between the ancient and the current world. The price for the trip was very reasonable and the tour company arranged very good hotels, lunch and entree fees to the monuments, all transportation were included in the price. I strongly recommend everyone to enjoy the services, hospitality and the care provided by Imperial Egypt.

A great journey, not all that intriguing

My tour guide Hady... he made everything perfect. His knowledge was amazing, attentiveness so easy and rich, and overall attended to our every need effortlessly and proactively. If you go, go with him for everything, as he will make the difference, plus he knows everyone and the shortcuts. As for the ship, 2+ stars, in Port way too much and virtually nothing to do, entertainer was a belly dancer...woop woop. August is so hot, who knew lol

Amazing experience

We had an amazing time. Our tour guide Mostafa Molattam of Imperial Egypt, did a great job! We absolutely recommend him. If we had to say something “negative” would be the false advertising of the boat. Says 5 starts but it’s more like 3. Very outdated. Still clean. The service was really good and the food so tasty!!

Stellar tour guide

The trip is highly recommended since you can utilize your time to the best it covers a lot of sightseeing and since it’s like a private tour you can avoid all waiting in lines and being in a crowd and just enjoy the time now if you’re fortunate enough and end up with Mostafa Molattam, our tour guide, it’ll be even better he has a master degree in ancient Egyptian language and is very caring that is above and beyond his job requirements make sure to go for all his recommendations from local eateries to sightseeing it’ll not disappoint and will be worth your time at the end we had a friend who could help us with all we needed and not just our tour guide

Nile cruise

We did the 3 day mile cruise w private tour. Ahmed Aziz was our tour guide and he was fantastic. Very accommodating knowledgeable and nice.

Good value tour but lack of communication

Overall the tour was an eye opener. We learnt a lot during this trip. The tour guide (Ahmed) was ok but all the drivers were fantastic especially Hethem. Ahmed need to work on ways to make people more comfortable. Here’s a few pointer to improve the program. Positives Tour guide very knowledgeable Easy to understand Negatives Tour guide not very caring Tour guide not very involved ( explaining and leaving us with free time was not good enough. You should spend more time with us rather than at the cafe) Wasn’t happy with extra stop, perfume shop ( be careful not to buy, the one I bought was scent diluted in oil. Not the real stuff like staff let us sample) Poorly organised (our three day tour itinerary wasn’t given to us. We basically getting the information as we go a long. We didn’t know what flight to catch or what hotel we will be at)

Wonderful experience!

We booked a 3 day, 2 night travel package to Aswan and Luxor from Cairo, which also included a day trip to Abu Simbel from Aswan. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! Our tour guide for the majority of the trip (i.e., the 2 days we spent in Aswan and Abu Simbel), was Soha, who was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and one of the kindest people we met on our trip to Egypt (which is saying a lot, because so many of the people are friendly). She taught us so much about Egyptian history, made sure we got to try the most delicious Egyptian food, and was even able to accommodate a boat trip to a Nubian village (which was not part of the original itinerary) where we met locals, shopped, and drank hibiscus tea and held a pet crocodile in the home one of the village’s residents! Truly such a wonderful experience and we have Soha to thank for that!!

nicely packed

This is a pretty nice tour to see all the most important sights of Aswan and Luxor in 3days. We have different guides in Aswan and Luxor, both of them are very friendly and enthusiastic, speaks great English. The most impressive sight is the two temples of Abu Simbel, the carvings are just amazing, probably my favourite tourist sight in Egypt! Our tour guide Laila Hussein in Luxor is especially wonderful, she arranged the tour according to our needs and take us to some fun and joyful extra activities, deep thanks to her. I also want to thank the driver Haitham who pick us up at Cairo airport and transfer us back to hotel at the end of this tour. He gave us a very clear guided city tour with interesting and detailed facts on the way, I feel like this is the city tour we needed the first thing when we arrived at Cairo , but still very glad we have it at last before leaving the country. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Enjoyable time

I enjoyed 4 days / 3 nights Nile Cruise with sight seeing trips. The cruise is a bit old but clean and people are friendly. Food is okay. Our tour guide Hossam Rashwan was so friendly and helpful. He guided us through the temples and we enjoyed listening to all the interesting historical stories told by him. He answered all our questions and took good care of us until we left the the cruise.

Great experience

Our tour guide Hady was very informative and knowledgable. He was able to answer all our questions throughout the trip. He gave us some good local tips and went out of his way to show us around Aswan in the evening. We appreciated that he also gave us free time to explore the sites on our own.

The highlight of my trip

Our tour guide was Hady. The 3 day trip was amazing. The highlight had to be the day where it was the valley of the kings + Karnak. Something you can't forget. Hady was also a gem of the tour. His enthusiasm was amazing and def tried to get laughs for the whole group. He listened to all of our questions and even was willing to deviate from the tour a little to show us something which was great and it even saved time. He was really sympathetic to everyone around us and even the peddlers even if we didn't want anything. He was very clear and looked out for the best for us. I recommend having Hady.

"A Pleasant Experience"

If you only have limited days to stay and explore Egypt, this package is a must, to see other city aside from Cairo. You will have the chance to experience Luxor and Aswan. Abu Simble is a 6 hour drive return but the 2 hour tour is worth it. Aside from the fact that most of the entrance fees is included except this 600LE which allows you to take pictures. The tour guides and drivers are all very efficient and they will comply accordingly to what you prefer. Thanks to Hany, Ahmad, Ahmed, Wael, Well, Mohammad, Mohammed and others who I miss the name for this great experience.

<p>Ahead of this trip, we did add another night in Luxor due to flight times. We also opted for 5-star hotels vs. 3-star. Total for both changes was less than 200 in addition to the Viator booking.</p> <p>We finished the Giza tours the day before so we were ready to venture to the Southern cities AKA, Upper Egypt. For this tour, our driver picked us up at 4:30 AM to make a 7 AM flight from Cairo to Aswan. They were on time and even walked us to the ticket counter.</p> <p>When we arrived in Aswan, our guide, Coresh, picked us up and drove us to the High Dam. It was nice scenery but skippable. Then he drove us to the mainland near the Philae Temple and charted a boat for us. He gave us a tour and explanation and then as much free time as we wanted to explore and take pictures. On the way back, we tipped our boats captain, and then he took us to a local island for a late Nubian lunch. During lunch, we realized the view was where the cover photo for our tour book was taken!</p> <p>After lunch 4 PM, we were dropped off at the Helnan Hotel where we relaxed by the pool for the rest of the day.</p> <p>The following morning, we were picked up at 4:30 AM, provided a boxed breakfast by the hotel, and hit the road to Abu Simbel. I expected to be part of the caravan I read about but that is no longer required. If I had one suggestion for improvement for this entire tour, it would be to ask for a bigger car or even a van which is what I thought was coming. Our car was a Mitsubishi Lancer and was too small for someone that is 63 for a 6 hour rountdtrip car ride with no head rests.</p> <p>Abu Simbel was well worth the trip. Both temples were impressive, inside and out. If you want to take pictures inside the temple, make sure you tell your guide to but the more expensive pass. Otherwise, no pictures and they are serious.</p> <p>On the way back, we grabbed lunch at the Floating Restaurant in Aswan, then were dropped off at the train station. Our guide actually had to goto Luxor so boarded with us. We were supposed to be in first class, Im not sure we were but it was fine and comfortable. Nothing fancy.</p> <p>When we arrived in Luxor, we stayed at the Steinberger Hotel. Great hotel! </p> <p>The next morning, we were picked up at 8 AM to head to the Valley of the Kings. We stopped at the Colossi of Memnon, then on to the Valley of the Kings. Your ticket gives you the option to tour 3 tombs. We opted to pay the additional 200 pounds per person to also see Tuts tomb. Also make sure you ask for the photo pass. We didnt do it and wish we did. The tombs have vibrant colors and would be amazing pics! Valley of the Kings was amazing, almost as good as the Giza Pyramids!</p> <p>Then we moved on to Hatshepsuts temple, lunch, Karnak, and Luxor temples. Karnak was incredible! We were back to our hotel around 5:30 PM for dinner on our own.</p> <p>The next morning we were picked up at our hotel and dropped off at the airport to fly back to Cairo. </p> <p>Overall, everything was very well planned and on time. Guides were very friendly and knowledgable and made sure we felt safe and comfortable.</p> <p>Tipping is always a question in Egypt. We tend to think in American value and gave our drivers 300 Egyptian Pounds per day and our guides around 700 Pounds per day. Even that seemed to low but was way higher than all of the recommendations we read.</p> <p>Would recommend this tour without question! Covered everything we wanted to do in one package.</p>

Worth every dime

If you're only in Egypt for a short time, this is the perfect tour for you. Hany did a superb job arranging this tour for me. At first I was a little hesitant as I was traveling with two 10 year olds but, he assured me they would enjoy. He is very professional and very hands on. He answered every single one of my emails right away. Now, let's talk about HADY, he is by far the BEST TOUR GUIDE in Egypt. Request him and only him. He was VERY professional while still making us feel like Family. That's hard to do. He was VERY protective over my entire group. He guarded us from beginning to end. He was also VERY Knowledgeable about each site we visited. Talk about Restaurants, he picked only the best for us. He is VERY passionate about his career and you can feel it from the time you arrive in Aswan. BOOK this tour and request HADY!!!!! You will have ZERO REGRETS.

#Springbreak2018 Egypt

This package guided by Hady was a great cultural experience. From the beginning of the trip, we were picked up in a timely fashion from our hotel in Cairo for our flight to Aswan. Once we reached Aswan we were created by Hady and our tour driver. Hady is one of the most professional, cultural astute, and passionate guides you will ever meet. He truly loves what he does and after being with for 3 days straight, he is now a friend. From the Temples to dinner and our visit to the Nubian Village, he was engaging, informative as well as protective when it came to be haggled. I would highly recommend this tour with Hady as your guide.

This was my first trip to Egypt and...

<p>This was my first trip to Egypt and did not know what to expect from going so far from my home base in Cairo. I was amazingly astonished at how well put together this adventure turned out to be. The date booked for Abu Simbel was on the February 22nd special sunrise that happens two times per year. We toured Aswan, then at midnight the same night, My guide, Sayed made special arrangements so that we could be at ABU for the Sunrise. Viator arranged it through Imperial Egypt and they were sharp, informative and customer focused. When I am on a trip, the idea is to have a great time and Viator and Imperial both did a tremendous job. At night at the hotel, I had a balcony overlooking the Nile. I was able to sit out listening to the Drum beats from the Nubian village echo up the river and watch the fires. It put me in an almost trance like state- Magical! Luxor was jammed packed with sites- Only regret is that I didn't have more time. Food- Especially in Aswan- was delicious, ask for the Nubian Soup. Thanks again Hany and Sayed.</p>

Very good experience except for a small hiccup.

We had booked this trip online. Our experience with the Driver in Aswan Naseer was very good. He is a very experienced driver. Our 6 hours drive to Abu Simbel and back was great. Our Tour guide Amr was also very knowledgeable and helpful. The stay in CityMax hotel in Aswan and Kebabs lunch was the highlights of the trip. The train ride to Luxor was very interesting. The Driver Mohammed who picked us up from Cairo and dropped us back to our Hotel was also very good. Driver Ahmed in Luxor was a cheerful fellow and a very good Driver. In all it was an awesome trip expect out Hotel Emilio in Luxor. The sleep quality was good but it is the staff and their housekeeping which let us down. I have separately reviewed it. I would still recommend Imperial Egypt as a tour company as they are very responsive and Mr Hany Amin is a through professional. The Emullio Hotel mess up was beyond his control. He was in constant touch with us on WhatsApp. Thank you Mr Hany, Mr Amr, Mr Mohammed, Mr Naseer and Mr Ahmed to these great memories.

Does not include what they say

The cost is excessive. Flight information very limited, almost secret. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE TICKETS, the guides send you to line up at the ticket office to pay your ticket, NEVER. We stopped for breakfast, they also charged us for the food. It really ONLY includes accommodation, plane, transfers and guide. Incredible places, but be prepared to be hungry and very sleepy.

ポジティブ ・アスワン・ルクソールの観光スポットを効率よくまわれる。 ・他のツアー客と一緒になったのは旅程の一部。あとは全部プライベートツアー（一人で申し込んだからかな？）。 ・入場券は全部ガイドが手配してくれる。 ・それぞれの観光スポットで自由時間を与えてくれ、「あれをしたい」「これをしたい」（と言っても、写真撮るとか、じっくり見て回るぐらいしかできないけど）というリクエストはほぼ全部聞いてくれる。 ネガティブ ・アスワンとルクソールそれぞれに、出迎え要員、ガイド、ドライバー、アシスタントがおり、頭が混乱する。 ・「3つ星ホテル」と書いてあるけど、期待しない方が良い。

時間がない場合には弾丸ツアーが好都合

まず朝５時にカイロ発でアスワンに着いたら、午前はダムとフィラエ島に行って、「午後はなにも予定ないよ。なにかしたい？」とのこと。翌日は朝4時発のバンで片道4時間半かけて1時間のアブシンベル神殿を観光。アスワンから15時発の列車でルクソールへ。お昼ご飯食べる暇なかったから、駅弁？を用意してくれていた。3日目は8時からルクソール観光へ。16時か17時に観光も済み、「なにかしたい？」とのこと。特になかったので、空港へ。22時半発のカイロ行きだけど、2−3時間前にならないと空港内にも入れてもらえない。ガイドは帰ってしまったので、2時間寒い屋外のカフェテリアで時間を潰し、ようやく空港の中へ。 つまるところ、弾丸ツアーなんだけど、わりかし自由が効くみたい。プランはなにも考えずに行ったため、急に「なにがしたい？」と言われても困る。なきゃないで、時間が余って困る。そんな感じです。 ガイドは行く先々でバラバラなので、英語力もバラバラ。毎回露骨にバクシーシ（チップ）を要求されるのは国民性なので仕方ないとは言え、嫌になる。 まぁでも主要な観光スポットには自動的に連れて行ってくれ、昼食も好きなの選ばせてくれ、空港まで/からの送迎もちゃんとしてくれ、効率的に南エジプトは見られたかなと思う。 後は、ホテルも希望で変えられたら良かったんだけど。
