Amazing experience

We had an amazing experience! We were joined by a local who set our quad bikes up and was very friendly. He was so good at taking our photos and videos, Our tour guide took on the streets on the way to the pyramids and took us around the pyramids on the ATV. It was so much fun highly recommend it as the views were stunning.

Could be better but made the best of it

PLEASE CLEAN UP THE PATH TO THE DESERT!! Extremely unsanitary!!!😳😳 Once me and the guide got to the desert it was fun fun fun!! But after the fun it was back through the Extremely poor & unsanitary conditions that will create issues to tourist in the future. Don’t take my word, go inspect the area & routes…I have pics to prove it so you have been warned.

We enjoyed the ATV ride very much. Much fun, great experience. Good value for money. Good possibility to get a great view of the pyramids you wouldn't get otherwise.

NEVER EVER BOOK THIS TOUR

NEVER EVER DO THIS TOUR - THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU LITERALLY FIVE MINUTES. Our bike broke down in the middle of the desert and they didn't even apologise. after waiting half an hour for them to fix the bike, waiting in the blistering hear, they then said the tour was over and took us straight back to the start. Go with another operator, we heard so many other people have great experiences. So sad we ruined out trip by booking with these con people

Great Experience

It was a great ATV ride with amazing views. The guide was knowledgeable and he was able to get us where we needed to be in a very busy city.

Disgusting 🥴

Our time was pushed back 30 min then the driver showed up 30 min late. The drive there was…uncomfortable to say the least. We went down the streets/alleys and there were people hitting the car and trying to open the doors. The driver didn’t speak English so we couldn’t communicate. Once it was time to get on the ATVs the vibe was off because of how bad the area was getting there. We had to ride the ATVs through trash, next to horses, camels and donkey and their droppings, it smelled HORRIBLE and I’m Pretty sure there was a dead horse. When we finally made it to the dessert/dirt/sand, we rode through bones of what looked to be a horse or camel (large and a lot). We weren’t told to bring glasses or goggles and they didn’t have any for purchase so sand was in my eyes through the whole experience. The guys on the ATV did great taking us around and doing tricks but didn’t do so great taking our pics. Not for the faint at heart!

Value & Fun

Awesome to go dune bashing on these ATVs. Ride thru the streets as locals before shreding the Sahara sands with Pyramids nearby. Gr8 pix to be had!

Wow

Mahmoud and Ibrahim were amazing. Both were funny and entertaining. They were extremely patient even with a member of our group being late. The ATV ride was definitely a blast! 10/10 would do this again!

Amazing trip with mom!

I went with my mom and the guide was amazing. It started with pickup at the hotel, then we went to Pyramids and it was nice to have the car take us from one pyramid to the next because it’s a huge area. The guide was so knowledgeable and friendly very respectful. Then we went to our atv ride, the guide waited while the atv tour guide took me and my mom. Mom had the guide with her sitting because she wasn’t super confident. She had a great time! Then we did some shopping perfume, papyrus and jewelry! Then to a late lunch. After lunch they dropped us back at the hotel.

Dead horses, threats, and dangerous men

This tour was not only terrible, it was unsafe for several reasons. I will skip to the worst part first because I want to make sure no one is put in the same situation we were ever again — especially no woman. When we got to the part that involved the ATV, the tour went south very quickly. My sister and I were sent out on ATVs with two men who spoke very broken English. We drove through back streets of the area around the pyramids, which was both unsafe and likely unwelcome by those who live there. Once we got to the entrance to get into the desert, the older man got in an argument with a guard. This made it seem that this was not the usual path they took. The ride out in the desert was fine. We drove around; they tried to get us to stop at a Bedouin encampment and let us keep driving when we did not want to do that. The last part is the worst part. On our way back to the starting area, the two men took us back through the back neighborhoods. Before we reached the end, the older man stopped us in this area (right near a mound of trash that had a dead horse laying in it). He got off of the front of my ATV and said “Are you happy? Did you enjoy? You give a good tip?” I knew right away that he was trying to scare us into giving him money on the spot. There was no other reason to have us stop in this area. I said “yes, I will tip you when we are at the end. Take us back immediately.” He got back on and kept driving. We did NOT tip these men when we got off. The earlier part of the tour was also nothing to write home about - but the worst offense that man had was that he had absolutely no knowledge of the pyramids. At least he wasn’t predatory. Avoid this tour at all costs.

Once in a lifetime experience

Great informative tour guide, the ATVs worked very well and the entire experience was comfortable, thrilling and super fun. One of our favourite experiences in Egypt and a memory we will cherish for a lifetime. P.S. you don't need a scarf to ATV in the desert

Great way to see the pyramids

Our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable! Learned so much about the pyramids and sphinx. They took us to some local shops- a little gimmicky and not necessary. The ATV ride was very fun, the guides for that were very good too.

Simply The Best Quad bike Giza tour

Whalid was my tour guide with Emo travel #1 on Trip advisor for a reason. They arrived on time in a late model air conditioned car. I was able to see the neighborhoods of Giza up close and personal. SO MUCH FUN Walid keep my camera and got great action shots. Best part was bonding over music and discovering common ideologies. A mutually respectful tone and vibes Did I mention fun? Racing around the desert with pyramids in the background . I’ll never for it

An ATV Adventure Worth Going On

Best experience ever!

The highlight of our holiday! My 12 year old lad said this is the best thing he’s ever done in his life! Pickup was smooth, The guides at the atv make you feel at ease. The photo opp in front of the pyramids was handled so well and we’ve got some memories to treasure forever. Thank you!

Not worth it

In that 5 hours tour the part visiting the Pyramids was the most awesome part and took around 45 minutes. The tourguide knew well about the history and was very kind funny and friendly. The ATV tour itself was not so fun. It brought us via a very messy area where even a dead horse were laying on the ground and the smell even went through our masks. The ATV was not easy to handle and were in a very bad condition. Additionally the tour brought you to jewellery shop, perfume shop and papyrus shop, which were of course up to us but it were presented in a very smart way where you can’t say no. I wouldn’t book that tour again.

Lack of safety measure

The ATV's wheel came off whilst driving. It resulted in me faceplanting into the sand. I was fortunate. It only resulted in bruises and nothing serious. Other than the accident, it was a nice way to see the pyramids and enjoy the desert. I would recommend the trip, BUT first they have to make sure the ATV's are SAFE to drive! I was lucky, but it could've ended pretty badly. I managed to catch my self during the fall, and I didn't fall on any big rocks. If you are considering this company, at least make sure the ATV's looks safe. We had old ATV's and they had some damages. It was given that at any moment the accident would've taken place. I was the unlucky one this time.

ATV

This was an amazing ride. First, we took a few photos. Afterwards we rode through the sand dunes. That’s when I really felt the adrenaline rush. It was so freeing and exhilarating. I highly recommend this.

Very exciting experience. Good ATV instructors

It was a great experience. Even we went to the pyramids before, but Mohammed was telling us details which we never heard of before. The ATV is very very nice! It’s a must do if you travel to Cairo. You don’t want to miss zooming in desserts!

The ride was super fun...

The ride was super fun and went by very quick! The view was amazing and we were able to go very fast! The tour guide was very helpful and nice and took many fun pictures and videos for me! I had a great experience, definitely recommend!

Exciting Way to View the Pyramids

We recently went on this tour while in Cairo. It is a private tour. We made our way over to Giza. The driver dropped us off at the Pyramids entrance where the guide purchased our tickets and we proceeded to tour the pyramids by foot. After the tour, our driver picked up us and we headed to the perfect view point for photos. This was perfect, most people were taking camel or hoarse rides in the heat, we had an air conditioned vehicle. After the photo opt, we took a short ride to visit the Spinx and another photo opt. Then we proceed for another drive to the ATV ranch. Here we left our bags in the car and drove the ATVs in the nearby dessert. It was very dusty. I highly recommend sunscreen, a scarf to wrap around your head and mouth, and outdoor hard bottom shoes. The pyramids terrain is rocky and the ATV ride was dusty. Marwa, our guide, was very friendly and made sure we had the best photo ops. Thanks MARWA!! Overall, we had a great time and this a great tour if you are looking for a thrill while visiting the pyramids.

Amazing

Great experience and definitely more valuable than just visiting the pyramids, which was great, but the ATV ride is an unforgettable way to see the views of desert & Cairo. Guide was fantastic and took excellent photos

Budget list checked

First time in Cairo and definitely won’t be out last. Our guide & driver where both excellent. A couple of times my ATV shut off but that’s what’s made the experience any more enjoyable. I’m sure someone is probably reading it either laughing or saying “ how did you enjoy having issues with you’re vehicle”. This experience taught me patient. Once the tour guide knew I wasn’t right behind within minutes he had left the rest of my family and came to my rescue. Excellent joy and service.

Great Experience!

Mohamed Anwer was our tour guide and he was so helpful and even went out of his way to get us to a shop to buy gear to cover our faces. The atv guide showed us the best spots for pictures and the best hills to ride on.

AMAZING private quad riding desert experience

It was really fun and it’s recommended as they take their time, also really good service and friendly guide as we rode the quads with sunrise and didn’t have time for breakfast, they bought us Egyptian sandwiches which showed their hospitality. Also took us jumping on some hills and took a lot of pictures. It was a great experience! Thanks guys!!

Wonderful!

Was freaking awesome! Nader and Shobra were amazing. Super kind and made the experience very joyful. My wife was nervous on the ATV but they jumped in and helped . I did have a dog chase me but the ATVs were quick enough to avoid.

Fun and exciting tour

Exciting ride on the dunes near the Giza pyramids. Included some great views and photo opps. Our guide, Omar, was very accommodating, and made sure me and my wife were comfortable handling the ATVs as first time riders.

Out of body experience in the desert!

Mohammed Anwar was so amazing, informational, and kind! We really enjoyed the ATV’s the view is breathtaking can’t even put it all into words. The Most fun activity to do while in Cairo

My experience with Emo Tours Egypt started off with my family wanting to do more than just the usual ride a camel/horse at the pyramids. So after two days of searching up companies with reasonable pricing, I came across Emo Tours Egypt. Their website displayed a variety of tours across the entire country of Egypt including a one hour ATV ride at the pyramids. I booked on their website itself for my family of 7 and was so excited. The website was very straightforward in which you pick the day you want to go, how many tickets per person, and whether you want to be picked up from your hotel by their offered bus service or to meet them at their location if you live locally. The next day we met up at their location and they immediately had all 7 ATV’s ready for us. They also offered us some kuffiyehs/scarves as well in many beautiful colors which I do recommend getting because while riding you will feel a lot of sand in your face. The ATV’s were in great condition and the 3 tour guides with us did an amazing job accommodating us throughout the trip. They took us to amazing spots next to the pyramids and shot some great photos and videos of my family and I on our ATV’s. It was such a great experience and will definitely be booking with them again. I recommend everyone not just tourists to try out the one hour ATV ride offered by Emo Tours Egypt as it’s a great way to appreciate the best wonder of the world, the Great Pyramids of Egypt.!! 10/10 with Emo Tours Egypt

The most fun you will have in Egypt

Hazem was my tour guide. I unfortunately forgot my drivers name. Both were kind but Hazem went above and beyond. He took over 100 photos and videos of my family from the back of another ATV and even resent them once I got back home. This experience was by far the most fun my family experienced in Egypt. Amazing experience 10/10

Started with the light tour and added on the Giza tour and ATV tour. I had both Mohamed hamed and Abul for my trips. I can’t tell you how smart Mohamed Hamed was when giving me the tour. He’s well respected and has trained other tour guides around Giza. I got lucky with the best of the best, try and get him for any of your tours! He also takes amazing pictures if you’re alone. Must have been a photographer prior to this. Was alone during my trip and felt extremely safe the entire time with him.

Riding the ATVs was a great experience. Booked the morning of and was called an hour before my scheduled pick up time to confirm all my information. Our tour guide Amr was super helpful and knowledgeable. He pointed out important buildings and interesting facts as we were traveling from our hotel to the pyramids. We were offered juice, water, and snacks right before we started (which was needed to manage the heat). The ATVs were safe and fast. Super awesome experience. Was wayyyyyy more fun than I expected!!! Definitely recommend
