Great tour guide and alot great places! The weather wasn't great unfortunately but we still had some experiences!

Wow. What an awesome tour. Thanks Jeremy, what a fantastic day!! Thoroughly enjoyed every moment and learnt so much! Jeremy is a fountain of knowledge. We were recommended by friends to go on a Cape Trib / Mossman George tour, and we are so glad we chose this one!

Crocs, Nature and more

The places we visited were really good but the guide was talking non-stop and that was a sensory overload. I had to get away from him at one spot where I should be listening to him because he was talking non-stop in the bus. LOL! Apart from that, he was a wonderful person. Hope he had given a rest to my ears while driving bus. He was also driving with one hand as he had microphone in the other which was a huge risk on plains as well as windy mountain roads. I am deducting 1 point just for that! I also bought my own lunch and I was glad as what they provided didn’t look that appealing. But will definitely recommend this tour to everyone. Maybe bring noise canceling headphone to get away from constant commentary when you want to! LoL

Would not recommend

The guide does not stop talking from the moment you get in the run down bus, has absolutely no filter. Although he's knowledgeable about the area he tells stories about personal experiences that has nothing to do with the area and scares overseas tourists with the stories of crocodiles and stingers. He often has hands off the wheel holding a microscope in one hand and pointing at things with eyes off the road at things. The lunch was adequate but other tours for same price better value for money as we found out from talking to other people at the waterhole we went to.

Great day trip

By far one of the most informative and relaxed day trips I’ve done from Cairns over the years. Jeremy is a fountain of local and environmental knowledge and a pleasure of a guide. The locations are stunning and a lot packed into a long day with plenty of time for rest on the bus. I would highly recommend this day trip.

Unforgettable trip in the tropical forest

This trip was really a Big day as promised by Jeremy thanks to his enthusiasm, passion and knowledge ond tropical forest. He did his maximum to offer us as many experiences he could regarding the weather conditions.He gave us many safe advises about plants and animals. An unforgettable memory for me.

Great tour with amazing guide

Great tour to experience the Nature around Cairns, with lots of interesting stops. Were able to spot crocodiles, spiders, butterflies and birds. Jeremy was an mazing tour guide that gave us a lot of extra information about the fauna and wildlife as well as history of the area. Definitely recommend!

Great day trip in a smaller group

Great trip into Daintree Forest. Jeremy, our tour guide was very informative and interesting, his passion and enthusiasm for the wildlife and the natural surroundings really came across. Unfortunately we could not go all the way to Cape Tribulation as there was no access because of Cyclone Jasper, but the trip was still worth it. The highlights were the river cruise and swim at Mossman Gorge. The river guide was funny and made sure that we spotted a few large and small crocs on the way. Mossman Gorge was very refreshing and welcome at the end of the trip. Ice creams were also very nice. Even though the trip was long, it did not feel like it as Jeremy ensured that we had plenty of time to explore. Overall a well worth while day trip!

Well Run, Professional & Considerate

Unfortunately, due to devastation from Cyclone Jasper, my trip was canceled. Despite all of this, Cape Trib Connections was professional and kept in constant contact with me until to last possible moment to see if the trip could be salvaged. When they were forced to cancel, I was offered the choice between a gift voucher for a future tour or a full refund. I can clearly see that the other rave reviews for Cape Trib Connections are well deserved. And while I wish the tour could have happened, high marks are still deserved for how the situation was handled. Thank you so much and I will definitely be booking with you again on my next trip to Queensland.

This day trip is a must!

We had the privilege of having Jeremy for a Tour leader plus Shuttle driver. This guy was extremely knowledgeable, funny and a great personality. We learnt a lot about the rainforest and wild life and the history of the area. We would recommend this trip to anyone young or old. A great days outing, even saw a crocodile on the Daintree river. Excellent adventure not to be missed

This tours was absolutely full of wonderful experiences it was a full day and our tour guide Jeremy was amazing and so knowledgeable and shared his stories and experiences with the group. He was funny and so helpful he explained everything. We got to see wildlife crocs, cassowaries and learn about the rainforest. Would fully recommend this tour but make sure you get a good sleep the night before because it’s a full day.

Fantastic day!

We had an absoloutly fantastic day, we are so glad we chose Cape Tribulation Connections for this trip. Jeremy was brilliant and really knew his stuff! Clearly has a wealth of knowledge and we learnt so much throughout the day. All of Jeremy’s stories were so interesting and there was a perfect amount of time at each stop. Would 1000% recommend to choose this tour for the Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation!

Fun and educational

Jeremy was passionate and knowledgeable , energetic and skillfully guided us through all the days activities. We lucked out with spotting a cassowary as well four crocs. A visit for ice cream and a refreshing swim at Mossman topped the day off!

Magnificent

It was a long day, but thoroughly enjoyable. Jeremy's knowledge of history, nature and events was informative and entertaining. The scenery and walks were beautiful as was Cape Tribulation. The Daintree River boat ride was great although we didn't spot a croc. Nothing disappointed. Magnificent scenery. Jeremy went out of his way to help people and answer questions - even stopping for ice cream and to see one last time if we could spot a croc (unfortunately, not). Lunch was generous. Small group.

Tropical forests are beautiful

Our driver/ tour guide Jeremy was great. He had a lot of knowledge that he shared with the group during our trip. Always taking a head count to make we were all on board the bus. A great day out. We got to see 2 Cassowaries as well. Do remember to take and use body bug spray!

An informative, enjoyable and memorable day.

Jeremy is an experienced tour guide with an intimate knowledge of the Daintree - its flora, fauna, history, geology - a wealth of knowledge and passion generously shared. The included Daintree River cruise was also a highlight. The Daintree is a unique and special destination as evidenced by its UNESCO listing. To understand this even a little is to revere it. We came away with a greaty enhanced knowledge of the area. A memorable and enjoyable day.

Awesome day!

This was a fantastic experience. Our guide Jeremy is obviously a very intelligent person who has a wealth of knowledge. There was nothing that we missed out on. The beautiful scenery of beaches, lookouts, flora and the must-do swim in the gorge was a must do for any visitor to Far North Queensland!

It was a long and very nice day where our guide Jermine us much told about the country and our surroundings! And also gave us enough time to wander around on our stops.

Very good day

I wanted to thank Jeremy who shared his knowledge with us throughout the excursion. He has a lot of things to tell and we left with a lot of discoveries! I recommend 100% this tour which is done in a very small group.

Fantastic day tour!

This was an incredible experience and I have never been more in awe of a place I have visited before! I considered renting my own car for the day and visiting Daintree alone but I am so glad I chose to book this tour instead as Jeremy had extensive knowledge of the area and spent a lot of time on the trip informing us of the history of the rainforest and all about the various plants and wildlife. His personal touch was really what made the trip. Jeremy went above and beyond. The tour is exactly like described and is a very long day but definitely the best way to see as much of the park as possible if you’ve got just 1 day. I will definitely be recommending this tour to any of my friends and family who visit the area.

Highly recommend this day tour. Jeremy is the owner/operator of Cape Trib Connections. He has a passion for and knowledge of the Daintree which are both astonishing and intoxicating. We were in awe of his knowledge of local history, flora and fauna and the need for conservation of this unique and precious area. Jeremy effectively communicated all this through stories and anecdotes. We appreciated the care he took to make us all comfortable and the special extra touches he brought to the day. Above all, while he encouraged us to engage with the Daintree experience, our personal safety was upper most in his mind. We were renewed by the experience. An Unforgettable Day

11 put pf 10 for this trip! Jeremy was the owner / operator / driver of this trip and has 30 years' experience in guiding in this area. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge with you,and that is infectious in the best way. He made many unscheduled stops along the route, which you would never get with the larger operators. We made impromptu stops to view a giant osprey nest on top of a power pole, to follow a cassowary chick and to collect some giant seed pods. So much variety - walking in the rainforest with Jeremy explaining countless features, walking along the beach, swimming in the Mossman gorge,stunning views - highlights all day long. So much packed in and yet somehow it was all quite relaxing. Oh, and if you think crocodiles and snakes are the only dangers in Australia, just wait until you hear about the venemous rainforest plants,and the jellyfish! An unforgettable day - thank you Jeremy!

Lots of fun and lots of learning!

A very well balanced, informative tour even though the conditions were terrible (bucketing rain. And at the end of the day Jeremy was an extremely friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who has great taste in music.

Fantastic tour, more time at each of the places tan

Fantastic tour. We picked this particular tour as it gave us more time at each of the places rather than rushing around, for example, it seemed we were at Mossman Gorge much longer than the other tours. Teen boys loved it too. It is a long day, but it was fun!

The best Cape Mossman Gorge and Cap Tribulation Day Tour in Cairns

Did the Cape Tribulation Day Tour in end Jan 2023 and enjoyed very minute of it. It's the closest that you can come to a personalized tour in a group structure. Jeremy, our guide and driver, was very friendly and knowledgeable, meticulous in his organization and his capacity to point out finer details made the tour that more interesting. Pity though the Crocs were in hiding when we were there on the river cruise but blame that on the time of the year! Highly recommended and great value for money.

The real Australia

Great tour! A full day of action seeing lots of what North Queensland has to offer. The crocodile river cruise is great fun, cape tribulation stunning, the stop for gelato was a surprise winner, but most impressively Jeremy our host was hilarious and incredibly knowledgable of the areas ecosystem and long history. 100% recommend.

Great day overall.

Jeremy was an excellent host and was very knowledgeable which really enhanced the day. I would have liked a bit more of walking through the rainforest (although I appreciate we had the weather to deal with), we just did two little walks amongst the driving and view point stops and when reading the activities ahead I thought it was going to be longer/more like mini hikes. We did go for a swim in a natural swimming area which was great.

What a great day…

My wife and me did this tour on Boxing Day '22 and it was a great experience! We were lucky and saw a crocodile in the Daintree River and a Cassowary in the wild on our way to Cape Tribulation, had a nice lunch and a swim in the Mossman Gorge and that was all just great, but what made the tour special was our guide Jeremy. With his huge experience and incredible knowledge he made this tour truly unforgettable.

We had an excellent day trip with Cape Trib! Our tour guide kept a a nice schedule while still keeping it chill enough to see everything. It was a real treat to listen to Jeremy share his wealth of knowledge about Australia. See you on the other side Jeremy!

The best day trip!

This day trip has by far been one of our best experiences whilst travelling Australia for a month! Jeremy’s knowledge and passion for Cape Trib/surrounding areas is shown throughout the delivery of the tour, making the day fun, interesting and well informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, and Jeremy was able to quickly change plans when things happened out of his control that affected our original itinerary. Overall I would highly recommend this trip and would definitely go again!

Great tour guide with unbelievable knowledge

Jeremy was excellent and a wealth of knowledge in the areas, landmarks and such. And a great guide. Easily approachable. Great advise on everything along the way based on his long time of being in the areas with his commentary . His Love for this job was easy to see. Great tour great commentary. Went above and beyond to find a new swimming hole when Mossman gorge was closed for an accident. Fantastic and one of the better tours we have been on. Yes older vehicle but we’ll air conditioned and large windows made it better to see what he was explaining. Jeremy takes so much pride in his customers and that was on show when he really wanted to show us some extra stuff. Well done. Would definitely recommend if you love history,nature guided tours etc.

A wonderful trip

A really great day trip! Jeremy, our guide/owner of the tour was excellent. He is a wealth of local knowledge so you learn heaps about the areas you visit. He even went above and beyond letting us stop at a beach which wasn't on the original tour AND he found us a swimming alternative when mosman gorge was sadly closed. We had a great time!

Long-winded guide, rundown vehicle

This tour appears to do the same stops as Billy Tea but in a rundown vehicle and with an overly verbose, often stream of consciousness, repetitive, narrative from the guide. Would have enjoyed much more with 1/3 of the narration that focused on relevant points of interest, rather than personal musings. The lunch was also not great. Would not recommend.

Great value for a full day with an excellent guide

The Cape Trib Connections day tour is excellent value for the price. Jeremy is a lively, personable, and engaging guide with three decades of experience in the region and a wealth of knowledge and stories to share. He also did an excellent job of keeping us on a tight schedule while making time for the special experiences that popped up, such as the exciting moment when we spotted a cassowary in a creek and he stopped the van to spend 5-10 minutes watching it go about its business. The guided tour of the mangrove forest boardwalk, the visit to Cape Tribulation, and the stop at Mossman Gorge (bring your swimwear!) were all highlights of our day, and I really enjoyed the Daintree ferry crossing as well. The Daintree area is beautiful and unique, and this tour is an excellent introduction to the region. There are a few caveats I would offer. The day will be a long one - be prepared to spend 12 hours on the tour, with a couple of big chunks of the day in the van (although I really enjoyed the scenery and Jeremy's narration during the drives). The group size is fairly large - we were maxed out at 19 on our tour - and smaller-group/individual tours are out there, albeit significantly more expensive. And while I was more than satisfied with the picnic lunch of cold chicken legs and salads, my wife was unimpressed. If you are a picky eater, or have special dietary requirements, it may be worth your while to bring your own lunch. Overall, I am very happy I visited the Daintree with a driver and guide rather than attempting it on my own, the price point for this tour (considering the included Daintree River crocodile tour, the various entry fees and ferry fees, and lunch) is budget friendly, and Jeremy is an excellent guide who will enhance your experience. I am very glad we opted for his tour.

Daintree and Cape Tribulation, a must see.

It was a great experience to see nature at it's best. Our tour guide, Jeremy, was so well versed in all things Daintree. Favourite part of the day was a swim in the Mossman Gorge.

Perfect day

A fantastic day and a perfect glimpse into the world of the endless rainforest. Jeremy’s knowledge and love for nature is incredible and highly interesting, which makes the trip not only informative but also fun.

A fabulous day out

We had a great day out with our guide Jeremy. He was very passionate about the area, the rainforests, the wildlife and barely drew a breath in the first 7 hours of our day. I was travelling with 5 other family members with age range from 11-80! Jeremy was very accommodating to ensure that Mum (the 80 year old) was able to participate in all of the activities (except for the swimming in Mossman Gorge). It was a long day, but the variety of activities and an abundance of stops ensured that the day didn't seem as long as it was. I would recommend this tour to other travellers.

Everything we did was absolutely great! Me and my friends personally loved the tour through the rainforest the most. The tour guide Jeremy was lovely and definitely made our experience in the Daintree rainforest unforgettable :)
