Amazing experience

Relaxing and beautiful sights. Such a great working crew and I will recommend anyone who comes in Budapest to come here!

Ok

The views were lovely it didn’t realise that beer and pizza meant banging music, our fault really. After getting over the music we still enjoyed the views and was lucky we didn’t have a huge amount of party goers. Should have read the reviews more closely. If u are a party goer then it wld suit. One member of staff checking us in was quite rude. If just happy to have blasting music, shoved a pizza and a few drinks it is ok. If u want to enjoy the ambience and enjoy the views I wld suggest the procession tour instead. Saying all of that the views were lovely and we were lucky to have a nice lunch if lads at our table. We shared pizza and wine

Pleasant way to spend 90 minutes

Nothing spectacular, but it's a nice way to cruise the Danube. The pizza was pretty good, and our server was exceptional. There's a recorded audio tour available, so be sure to have your phone and earbuds with you if you want to take advantage of it.

Fun night

When we turned up, I was on on the list despite booking over a month prior. Finally got in. Was given a wrist band for our unlimited beer cruise however noticed others had different colours and options (cocktails and unlimited drinks). I did not know this was an option as this booking was for beer. My husband wanted beer but I had no option to choose anything other than beer. I asked to swap and was given 3 cocktails but sacrificed unlimited beer/softdrink as well as the pizza so went without dinner. Fortunately it is reasonable size and my husband gave me some of his. Table service was ok, a bit slow. Music was good. Sights were great.

Great way to pass an hour or so and enjoy the sights.

Really enjoyed the trip, sizable pizza and none stop drinks. Great views and attentive staff. Would recommend.

Small price, even smaller quality

It attrackt especially loud brittish trashy people, which says enough about the quality. Very old uncomfortable boat. Pizza and view were good

Shirley was amazing and all the waiters too! The trip was a bit too short but we knew it before. Would be ready to pay more if it was longer (at least 2 hours I would say).

Good time!

It’s a fun tour. Pizza is good, views are good, staff is friendly and we enjoyed the Hungarian draft beer that was included. Just be aware this is very much a ‘party cruise’ with some young people (we are an older couple) seeing how much they can drink so things get pretty rowdy - but fun nonetheless if you’re in the right frame of mind!

Just get the cruise and drinks / no pizza

Cruise experience was good but wouldn't recommend getting the Pizza I would just recommend getting the drinks and eating either before or after the cruise Pizza tasted bland and cooked from frozen

Pizza and Beer with spectacular scenery

We all really enjoyed this cruise.. The views of the city as the sun was setting were stunning and the pizza was delicious. Thanks to Vincent and Christian.

Views were great pizza was not.

The night views were pretty darn awesome. The pizza was not great. If I had to do it over, I would have just booked a night cruise without the food and drinks. The downstairs was smoke free but it was enclosed and we didn't want to take pictures throw the window. The upstairs was an open space and I think just about everyone was smoking. Not the best experience.

Not worth the money

This boat trip was not what we were expecting. We thought we would be on a boat with only other people who had booked the same experience as us, but for whatever reason, there was about 15 of us who had booked that experience with about 100 others who had just booked the sightseeing trip. For what we paid I did not expect to have to sit next to people who weren’t eating - I felt like all eyes were on us when we were trying to eat our pizza - which were not cooked properly and came out 35 minutes into the 75 minute cruise. Was not unlimited beer as there were not enough staff to serve all the passengers. When my husband approached the bar to get a drink he was told it was table service only so we had to wait for someone to reappear in order to get a drink. It’s not worth the money. Views are amazing so just book the sightseeing trip and eat and drink elsewhere.

Lovely evening river cruise.

Very good service on the trip, staff were really friendly and helpful. Large pizza each and plenty of beer provided, with a choice. Would highly recommend, definitely worth the money.

The trip was one to remember, will definitely be doing it again. All the staff from the beginning to end were lovely and amazing could not fault them at all. Such a nice experience 😊.

Amazing Danube Night Cruise

Great service, good pizza & the beer kept coming. Amazing views. We really enjoyed our experience - considering it was valentine's evening, the 19:30 cruise, was well organised and everything happened in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience

We did the tour in the dark and what an experience! Seeing the city lit up in the dark was amazing. We had amazing pizza and unlimited drinks (from a limited menu but that didn't matter too much). The app which we downloaded was informative and as it tracked our location, it meant that we could see the sights and hear about the history behind them.

Lovely pizza

Amazing experience! Pizza was delicious and atmosphere great. The app to listen along was a great idea as it meant you could listen in your own language.

This beer and pizza cruise was great. Sat right near the bar and never had an empty drink. Pizza was really nice too and the views are great. Special mention to Sofia who was amazing and always made sure we had enough beer 😀

Fun way to explore the city

We had a Nice evening. Nice concept canal cruise with pizza and beer. Pizza was tasty and well filled. Recommended to do it around dusk dark.

Okay

Good views but if you get pizza you have to sit at a table which is only in the middle of the boat not by the windows so you don’t get the best view. Also the cruise is only 70 minutes so realistically you can only drink a few beers in that time and the staff stop taking orders 30 minutes before the end. Overall would say it’s not worth the money and to just get the one drink option.

Nothing above average, could be better.

The pizza should definitely be improved. Everything else was average. I wish the boat had an outside area to take pictures. Most of our pictures turned out bad due to the reflection of light on the glass.

A freezing experience!

Don't get me wrong! The experience of cruising on the Danube River was fascinating. The pizza was also very tasty, along with our drinks. However, the fact that the ferry was full, and we had to sit in the open area with a temperature of -2 degrees Celsius, was not that enjoyable. The covered area of the ferry was occupied by other passengers, and the only option was to share a table with other guests, leading to separation from my friends. Even the blankets provided were not sufficient for everyone on board. Therefore, if you plan to go, make sure to dress warmly or arrive as early as possible to reserve a table. In my opinion, seating should have been pre-assigned to avoid these kinds of issues. The service from the male waiter was excellent; he was a very pleasant person. However, the lady waitress could be more courteous :)

100% must do

This was a highlight during our trip to Budapest. We did the 7pm tour as the night time view of the city lit up was incredible. Pizza was yummy and beer was lovely. Great value for money, you will not regret booking this attraction.

We had fun but it’s not the best boat cruise

It was fun but tables were mostly set up for 2s and as it’s a free for all on seats as a group of 4 we found it awkward to get a decent seat. We sat together but the table could only just get the pizzas on but drinks had to be put on the floor or held. We were also close to the bar and in the centre so views were limited. So the tip is to get there early to get a decent seat! Pizzas were ok, our order of specific pizzas as given at time of booking was ignored so just expect Hungarian pizza.

Great value; pizza and beer what’s not to like!

Brilliant experience. Booked this in the evening and the views were amazing. Drinks menu had 3 different beers and also soft drinks, first order was taken as soon as we sat down and cup was never left empty! Pizza arrived at our table not long after we began sailing and was very nice, didn’t finish so they boxed the rest up for me! Yes there is loud music playing we enjoyed this despite it not being much of a ‘party’ boat. Very good value for the money!!

OK in October

The boat and the beer was good but the pizza mediocre and not too many people on the cruise. Perhaps it was the time of year and an open boat would be more popular in the summertime. Maybe an Oktoberfest theme would make it work a little better.

Beer and pizza what’s not to like

Having read previous reviews we knew what to expect and knew there would be no commentary as we sailed. Beer was plentiful and pizza tasted great. Only marked down a star as the music was very loud and was difficult to talk to each other

Mediocre

The views were stunning… the crew however, did not impress… we had pizza and Beer experience, First order was forgotten, when ordered again bought wrong drinks, ordered again and got wrong beer.. gave up!..pizza was nice

was a lovely trip, staff were friendly food and drinks were brilliant, the views were stunning and all for such an affordable price! felt like luxury! i would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting budapest! 🫶🏻

Great company who try to help tourists

My review is more for the company. My husband and I jumped on the wrong bus and ended up late and missing our 8 pm trip. We were offered 10pm or a 9 am just cruise with beer. We chose the 9 am. It was our fault we were late, however, they went out of their way to assist us. They were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our cruise and took lots of photos.

Good experience

The pizza was very good, and the beer also, but the girl that served our table was very busy and we had to call her every time we need to refil our glasses.

Fantastic atmosphere with great friendly staff. Pizza was nice and the beer plentiful. Highly recommended. Evening cruise is the best time for pictures.

Overall a great experience!

Great quality, great tasting pizza, served very quickly. There appeared to be people on different tiers drink wise (unlimited/token based), the token based tier seemed at least to be served more often, some people being offered their 4th & 5th drinks while we were on our 2nd. That being said, the beer was good, the views were incredible and the staff were lovely, regardless of organisation. We were reassured at the end of the trip that we could finish our drinks off even after the official end time which was a nice touch also. Overall a very nice experience!

A waste of money

This is absolutely not what is advertised. The food was barely cooked pizza. A second round of beer would not even come until you are in your way back. The crew did not want to be there. Don’t waste your money.

definitely worth it

It was a spontaneous idea, but definitely worth it. The pizza was absolutely delicious and fresh. Good and kind services. The view was amazing not to mention the atmosphere. It is much better way to discover the sights of the city than cruising on a bus.

It was okay

The pizza was good. The beer was good. The only thing we were a little disappointed in was the course of the boat (which they probably can't do much about). The boat starts out towards parliament, then it turns around and you're in front of Buda Castle district. This is about 25% of the trip. The rest of the trip you're just on the water not really looking at much. I wish they were able to spend more time in the parliament and Buda castle area, but that's probably not realistic.
