Excellent view of all riverside sights from Danube. At dusk, illumination of sights stunning. Good value. Recommend sitting up on deck for best view.

Just the right length to see all the lit up buildings. Upper deck seating was preferred so you get the best pics

Underwhelming

You sail in silence, look at a map on a table and then try to figure out which of the pictures on the map is the structure on the hill. In a word… “underwhelming”.

Friendly staff

Good value for money, unfortunately it was full and we got a bad sitting place where we couldn’t see much of the city. But arrive early to avoid this, I would say 30/40 min before tour starts to ensure good place to sit

Dangerous conditions

Probably the most badly organised trip I have ever been on in my life. Basically about 400 people crammed into a narrow passage between a road and the river waiting to board. People were pushing and shoving, I got trampled on and my friend groped. The two staff on duty clearly had no idea of how to control the crowd and were more interested in upselling drinks packages than getting people on board. Once onboard there was not enough space to sit, so couldn’t really see the sights and it was difficult to get a drink.

Great trip at a very reasonable cost. Great photo opportunities. You will see all you need to see, lit up beautifully.

Get there early

I advise getting there early, the queue was massive and we couldn’t get upstairs or near the window downstairs, so had to keep getting up if we wanted photos. The sights light up were really good to see and for £12 it wasn’t breaking the bank

Sunset or night lights

It was a reasonably price boat ride. As other reviews described, it is noisy, you need to get there early if you hope to sit on top deck. You need to remember to download audio guide. For April when booking, decide if you want to see sunset behind castle or Parliament lights later. Then, book accordingly.

Crowded and noisy

The cruise was ok but I wouldn’t recommend it. The boat was crowded and very noisy. The first half felt rushed and then we had to slow down significantly to not return early.

It was okay

Its was too crowded and u need to go 1 hour before to get good seat. Even more, people used to get up and you could not take decent pics. We started lated not as 9pm as scheduled but it was okay.

Budapest downtime

If you’re tour is done and awaiting dinner, this is a good option to spend your downtime. No voice annotation while cruising so enjoy the view and picture taking

Budapest is beautiful especially at night!

The tour was very unorganized. I downloaded the app but it had all kinds of issues with each posting. I liked the idea of a tour but wouldn’t go on this cruise.ine again. There are other ones.

An amazing boat trip in budapest

The cruise was amazing. The route we took was very nice cause we did not only had the opportunity to admire budapests stunning architecture we also got the chance to see the other side of the city which is more deluxe and modern . We also got to know the stuff and we met the amazing kitty ! I highly recommend it !!!

Stops not marked clearly

Too expensive Should have no river cruise option as I already did the cruise the night before Couldn’t find the stop at Keteli I asked several people and no one knew. It was not clearly marked and I had to walk to Astoria to catch thentour

Romantic cruise

Everything was perfect! We totally recommend to cupples and friends. There are some cheap option on the menu on board and you need to be there 30 minutes earlier

A great experience

Having recently taken the night-time Budapest sight-seeing cruise, I can highly recommend it. The views were spectacular (this has to be experienced when it's dark), the onboard drink prices weren't too excessive (which surprised me, given we were a captive audience), and the Silverline staff were great. Special mentions go to Kitti and Tamas, who were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. A 'must do' activity when in Budapest.

Helpful Staff & nice cruise.

Staff was very considerate. We were with an infant so allowed us to sit inside in waiting room, helped us with stroller to carry inside. Instructions were clear and tour was meeting expectation. Highly recommended to see the city at night from a river. Do come early as the queue gets long.

Picturesque

We turned up 20 mins early and there already was a queue of about 100 people so we were worried we were going to get bad seats… which we didn’t. Had a great view of all of Budapests lit buildings at night & the staff member with the beard was very informative, explaining what some of the buildings were and their history. Would highly recommend.

awful

Silverline not allowing sightseeing guests to enter warm waiting room, although they order their guests to come half an hour earlier. When asked why we were informed to come earlier, since its freezing outside, we were told that they have a lot of guest so it's their policy. Long story short, you are obliged to come earlier for Silverline Cruises bussiness optimisation and you are not allowed to their warm waiting room cause your health doesn't metter.

Poor street personnel and overcrowded boats. Too long to wait for first group boat to board while second boat was empty

Having to wait out in the cold windy night with 27 F degrees a long line when they could have let us on the boat earlier. Stagger start times for night cruise with dinner and the just night cruise sight seers so the second group doesn’t have to wait on the first group to finally show up and be completely boarded first before boarding the second boat. Very inefficient and inconvenient. IE., use staggered start times for the two groups.

It’s fine

It was fine, but you need to come really early to take a good seats to have a good view from cruise. There is a lot of people waiting in line. We came 35 minutes earlier and there was a big line.

super must to do activity

perfect view, mood changer, good memories... be one of the first ones to enter to take nice photos/videos otherwise you need to move side to side :)

Cold!

Not enough seating inside in the warm! Frozen solid. Views were spectacular though. When I did eventually get a seat downstairs nowhere near a window, most people didn't get a seat downstairs and you couldn't actually see through the windows for the reflections..

Wonderful night life viewing and a free drink and worth it 😊.Worth a trip not to be missed definately

Reommended Trip

Good experience and very nice to see Budapest in the night. It was a very good detail de glass of good wine and other drinks.

Night cruise

Lovely night trip down river. Had previously done the day trip with another boat,but this one went way past Liberty bridge and we got to see the National theatre & Ludwig Museum.

Budapest night time cruise is a must for everyone.

Excellent one hour trip...short and sweet...very memorable from start to finish. Will never thr forget the beautiful night time view of Budapest from the Danube river cruise.

Views from boat magnificent but no audio hence you did not know what you were looking at. Was told company is looking into an audio commentary ???

Seeing the buildings lit...

Seeing the buildings lit up at night was beautiful. It would have been a more enjoyable experience, if you were able to board prior to sailing time. We weren't able to board until 7 pm, which is when the cruise was to start. There was also no real line and people were able to save spots for large groups with no penalty.

Worth the views

Worth the views, great atmosphere. Best at dawn and night. City transforms at night time to a different city.

Nighttime Danube Cruise

I did this tour around sunset so I can see the red sky but unfortunately the boot has a roof so I couldn't see much of the sky. Also the boat was a bit crowded with limited seating. When we reached the important spot (the parliament) people were standing and covering the view. At least I managed to see the parliament lights. I don't really recommend this cruise tour.

Filled a couple of hours

Good value for money but no commentary do didn’t know what we were looking at and luckily we got a seat in upstairs deck - lots of people had to stand or sit downstairs

Waste of money and time

Would not recommend. Packed boat and allowed standing on top deck without any control, so anyone seated couldnt see anything. No commentary and second part of tour beyond Chain Bridge was pointless. No commentary and no interaction with visitors. Worst experience in Budapest

Urban

Few seats offer good view and photo opurtiunity. We was also spreadout and could not sit together.

It is an amazing feeling of looking at the city in a night view, the boat ride is nice and comfortable

Bad seating

Had a very long like to enter, and we didn’t get seats outside. Drinks were super expensive, but the views are so worth it

Great tour!

The cruise was just the perfect length and great value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpfull both on the boat and on the shore at check in. Enjoyable cruise with great views of this lovely city. Budapest is wonderfull. It was very good experience. Highly recommend.

Nice cruise with friends. Pretty lights. Pretty city. Pretty bridges. Too many people on boat. No life vests visible.

A wonderful memory

The bridges and Parliament building were spectacular. We had seen them in photos but in person was outstanding. As the boat reverses course people on both sides got a chance to take photos. Arrive early for a good seat

Surprise and a bit disappointed

Hello i thought i booked a cruise with somebody or else explaining the buildings on each side of the danube with a glass of procesco. We did not have any explanation but music and have to pay a deink. So i will not recommend this cruise even though the landscape is beautiful and staff members nice. Best regards

Budapest 2023

It would have been nice to have a speaker guide through the cruise. The upper deck and taking the 9:00pm cruise was a great choice to see the lights turned on, on the buildings.

Poor Experience

Poor experience far too many people on board. And there was no audio given Re the sites we where passing.

Great staff no audio

No audio I had believed there would be an audio description of the sites. There was nothing. No music. No explanation. However, the staff were amazing. Kind. Welcoming. The boat was clean. A basic experience. I rated it lower because of the lack of audio.
