A wonderful way to see the sites of Budapest.

We were picked up on time right by our boat on the Danube by Laszlo our guide and driver. Blessed with beautiful weather Laszlo proceeded to take us on a 3 hour tour of all the key locations in the beautiful city of Budapest. There were a number of stops where we got off the jeep and spent time soaking up the sights and atmosphere. We were a group of six and we all agreed it was a highlight of our cruise holiday on the Danube. Small gifts from Laszlo added to the memory of a wonderful afternoon in Budapest.

Russian Jeep Tour

Fantastic driver and guide! Very informative, people were waving everywhere we went (for the Jeep, I assume). Excellent photos, great history, and the shot of gasoline (he called it Polinka, a Hungarian Brandt) at the top of the hill. Highly recommended!!

wonderful experience

It's was a great way to explore Budapest. It's rarely you can see this kind of car in general, but having a city tour on it is a true unique experience. We visited most of the landmarks within 3 hours. Laszlo did a great job! Highly recommended.

Absolutely recommend it!

Laslo provided us with the experience of a lifetime. Going around Budapest in the less trodden road in his lovely vintage jeep, listening to the audio guide in our native language - mind you not everyone speaks English in Budapest even less so Spanish - while enjoying some home made hot wine and 'palika' made us forget about the rain and cold weather. If you have reservation due to how unpredictable the weather can be, do know that Laslo comes well prepared with blankets and delicious drinks to keep you warm.

Fun way to see the city!

Fun way to see Budapest! Over the course of three hours we were able to see several locations across the city, with four 20 minute sightseeing stops at the Great Market Hall, Citadel, Buda Castle district, and Heroes Square. Our driver was friendly and had Coke and water for the kids and palinka and mulled wine for the adults. While we didn’t learn much on this tour (short bits of information is shared via a recorded audio guide as you drive by each location) it was nice being able to see all the key spots in a short period of time. We ended up having decent December weather, but the jeep was well equipped to handle bad weather as the clear cover and provided blankets made for a warm interior. I would recommend to anyone who isn’t expecting a historian tour guide but a comfortable fun ride to all the key sights.

Best city tour

Best city tour we have ever been on, driver was fantastic, tour of city with 4 stops, getting to places the big tours can’t. 60year old jeep was so fun. 2 stops for drinks included. The local palinka drink was warming. This really is a must do, we will would do again if we visit in the summer.

Russian jeep experience

Loved the jeep, usual andunique way of seeing the city. Driver took us on a whistle stop tour of the best places to visit. Also provided was a small glass of palinks / very nice! Tour was given by an automated guide, but driver had limited English so unable to provide much more than that.

A great Sightseeing tour

Great ride to see the a lot of Budapest Very informative. Recommend this if you want to a lot within a 3 hour ride.

We were on our yearly weekend away Ladies Wine Club trip, we had a wonderful day out with friendly knowledgable drivers, seeing the beautiful architecture of Budapest, bringing to life the history and having fun on the way.

A Must do 1st thing..

Great way to get your bearing around this beautiful city! Recommend doing it 1 st thing when you arrive. Our driver, Noah, was a great kid and very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time. Enjoy

Budapest in an open top car! WOW!

Zsombor, our guide, is a true history scholar who drove us around all the key sites of Budapest. He gave a succinct modern view of the history of Budapest in near perfect english. This is a fun, must-do tour for small groups up to six people. Absolutely loved it 😀

Fun, informative, great value & Depeche Mode 🖤

Our driver picked us up promptly and we had a 3 hour tour of the city, taking in Heroes Square, Market Hall, Buda Castle complex and Fisherman’s Bastion. What a great way to see the main sights, and we had water, Palinka shots, beer and prosecco included with accompanying commentary, extra information from our guide & plenty of opportunities for photos and exploring. We hit a little traffic on the way back to our hotel so our driver surprised us with some Depeche Mode songs on the sound system as we are visiting from the UK for their concert. What a fantastic introduction to Budapest, not to be missed! Very highly recommended.

Fabulous City tour in an old Soviet Era Jeep - Budafull!

Great way to see Budapest! Lasslo was terrific and riding in the old soviet jeep was a real experience! You get a nice commentary played whilst you are travelling around the city and we stopped at 4 places getting 20 mins or so to wander around each place. That doesn’t sound much but it’s enough to get a sense of each place and take some photos. The tour was about 3 hours in total with pick up from hotel and drop of wherever you choose. It was about £180 which for 5 of us we thought was great value.

best way to see Budapest

I was attending a conference with colleagues from Vienna, and came across this tour. Really happy I chose it: it was a great, relaxing way to see Budapest, with plenty of stops and pleasant breeze (a welcome change from the sticky heat!). The welcome drinks (thanks, Laszlo, especially for the palinka :D) and the goodby gift were a nice touch. Laszlo is a fantastic, calm driver, and a charming guide - 100% recommended!

Wonderful tour with a very nice guide through the most emblematic places of Budapest. It was a good weather day and an unusual and diferent way to know the city. Teens and parents loved it!

Incredible jeep tour around Budapest!

I have been traveling to Europe for many years. I have often travelled to Hungary many times as well. This was by far the best tour of the city that I have taken in Budapest. The driver knew his way in and out among all of the streets, including plenty of shortcuts. Information was given in English and many questions were answered. We were able to shop in the market and eat at a local rétes /strudel restaurant. Even though it was raining, the jeep’s plastic cover provided an excellent view of the panorama of the city. We had many stops and viewed many of the sites within the city. I would recommend it to anyone with children, for couples, and for families. It was incredible. In the future I would love to ride in the jeep again, but do a night time city tour.

Riding in an open air jeep with a group of friends through amazingly beautiful sites with our charming driver was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. So much fun! Highly recommended.

Seeing Budapest in Style!

What a unique and exciting introduction to Budapest! Our driver/guide Zsombor picked us up at our hotel shortly after we checked in, and proceeded to show us the city’s highlights in a fantastic and fun way. The open vintage Jeep was surprisingly comfortable and offered awesome 360 views as we zipped through town to several prime locations. (Honestly, a big part of the fun was the reaction of other tourists as we rolled right up to a prime stop like VIPs from some 1960s war movie, LOL). Zsombor was an excellent host, with helpful info, a few special surprises, and a fantastic dinner recommendation at the end of our tour. Would absolutely do this again!

Family jeep tour of Budapest

We had an awesome time with Laszlo on the jeep tour. It was a great way to see the city without walking too much! Laszlo is very knowledgable and spent three hours showing us the sights of Budapest.

We really enjoyed our tour with Laszlo (our guide) and his fabulous jeep! He's an excellent driver and we felt in very safe hands. Had loads of opportunities for pictures and with the jeep we could visit the many sites where no tourist buses are allowed! Warmly recommended

Perfect start to our mini break & a really memorable experience

This was the perfect way to start off our visit to Budapest. Laslo our driver was so informative we learn about the history and got our bearings. It was very cold and started to snow during our trip but the jeep was warm and blankets were also provided. The Palinka shot and warm mulled wine were a really nice touch.
