Loved all the places we rode, Hero’s square was epic, the bridges and navigating the city streets was all very fun! So much variety and our guide was very knowledgeable. My bike had some issues but all worth it!

Getting to know historic Budapest

Ride baby ride!

Due to issues with original tour I was kindly upgraded to e-bike tour & was glad I was! Krouily or guide was very knowledgeable & very safety aware for such a big group . A superb tour of the main sights of Budapest that gives a great overview of the city. Just as enjoyable was the amazing e-bike which was super fun to ride! Thanks for an awesome tour!

The best way to see the...

The best way to see the city! Sharing the road with other cars is a bit scary, if you are not used to it. But bike lanes are always marked and the city is very bike friendly

A great experience

An excellent way to explore Budapest. Out guide Raymond was very knowledgeable and friendly. He went at an easy pace making it overall a very enjoyable experience. Much better than a coach trip.

We were lucky to be upgraded to E bikes. What a revolution! They were excellent. Guide very informative. The riding is easy even when on the roads. But most of it on easy cycle ways.

Great tour!

Nice stroll across the city with stops at its most notorious attractions points. Nice explanations from our tour guide Balent. This is a great way to tour the city without walking for hours and just going to the point.

We had a fantastic tour from Bilant. We learnt loads about the city, heard great little stories about Hungarians, and saw all the sites. Bilant was a fab tour guide, knowledgeable, polite and his English was v good. Would highly recommend.

Very Informative Tour

Our guide was really good in giving us the history about Hungary and its many changes over the years. The bike ride itself is not what I would consider easy because of the city traffic. You have to concentrate on the traffic to a degree that you miss enjoying the sights. The sights themselves are truly worthwhile but I would recommend planning a walk to more fully take in the views.

A must do when in Budapest!

A great way to see key sites and learn about Budapest’s history, while getting some exercise. Oliver was a great guide and customized the tour to meet our interests. (It’s an easy and enjoyable ride as the city has an abundance of bike lanes and fairly flat terrain). Highly recommend!!

Interesting Budapest bike tour

Our guide was excellent. He was interesting and informative. We learned much about the Budapest history and a bit about current life in Budapest. However, our group was much larger than the 10 person limit advertised. It was difficult riding the city streets with 16-18 bicycles.

Great way to explore this great city

Covered a lot of ground on the Pest side of the Danube. Very knowledgeable guide who was passionate and dry when required. Its a city with very dark and light sides and these were superbly explored. Easy biking,just keep your eyes open. Budapset drivers are very gracious so you don't feel the city is out to get you.

E-bikes are on another level - highly recommended to use it as an option. Totally worth it the experience.

A stunning city by bike

Our tour guide was unavailable and I was upgraded to the ebike tour. I believe they're mostly similar. Given I was only in Budapest for 2 days this was one of the absolute best ways to experience this beautiful city. The tour guide was very friendly and took great photos. He had a strong knowledge of the city and showed a passion for it and Hungarian history that I appreciated. Budapest has some small sore spots in terms of how bike able it is, but it seems like the drivers are very aware and I felt safe during the ride.

Great experience to discovery Budapest!

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour and was a great intro to Budapest while saving your feet. Our tour guide was authentic and provided us history and culture information throughout the tour. He even included small fun facts that people could easily miss! The bikes were in good condition and the route was also well planned to avoid the group being split up. Overall, I would highly recommend this experience within your first few days in Budapest.

Great way to see Budapest!

This was a great way to tour Budapest!!! We had a great, very knowledgeable tour guide for this 3 1/2 hr trip. The four of us, one in her 60's and three of us in our 70's, were able to do this tour even though it was 90+ degrees!! So glad we did this bike tour!!!

Incredible Experience - Amazing Guide

We did a 3.5hr bike tour with Dori, on a scorching 32 degree summer day. The tour was incredible, Dori gave a great background to the countries history, and clearly described the history behind the city and its many architectural and culturally significant sites. She also did a fantastic job of keeping us in the shade all day, and allowing us time to stop for photos in hotspots. Highly recommend this tour if you’re in Budapest and looking for a great half day experience to get a general view of the city. Really helps to know what you’re interested in returning to for the rest of your trip if you do it in your first few days in the city! Thanks so much Dori!

Highlight of the holiday

We, 2 of us, had a 4 night stay in Budapest, in May, arriving on Friday. We booked the saturday morning tour, which was perfect. It covered most of Pest and some of Buda, and was a great way to see a lot of the city in a reasonably short time. The equipment was good, we were well looked after and felt safe cycling around Budapest. Afterwards, we had lunch and then went to Szechenyi Baths to relax! Highly recommended

A must do

Great experience with a great tour guide who is not only knowledgeable about all the sights but also very passionate. I learned a lot about Budapest in this trip and I enjoyed riding the bike especially on the bridges and the city park. This trip is a must.

Great way to get to know Budapest

Really interesting and enjoyable trip. We saw all of the key sites on the Pest side and cycled along the river on the Buda side, looking up to the castle area. Loads of cycle lanes made the trip feel much safer and more enjoyable. Our informative and warm guide helped us learn much about Budapest. Would definitely recommend

Great bike tour

A great bike tour. I was able to see so many tourist attractions in 3.5 hours. It is reasonably slow paced and safe (mostly bike paths). Thomas is a very knlwledgeable and friendly tour guide. Highly recommend.

Excellent guided tour

We had a wonderful three and a half hour cycling tour with our guide, Karily. He had extensive knowledge of Budapest and it’s history and provided information in an interesting, well paced and thought provoking way. The cycling was mainly in cycleways so it felt very safe and the bikes were in excellent condition and easy to ride. Helmets were offered but were not compulsory. A great introduction to our time in this fascinating city.

Dori, our guide, was exceptional. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and considerate. She answered a myriad of questions regarding Hungarian history, culture, politics, and lifestyle. We could not have asked for a better guide.

Fabbo!

A great way to see Budapest. Dora was fabulous and very knowledgeable. Our ride was started at 10:30am and finished around 2:30pm. Some of us need either lunch or a small snack for energy around 12:30 to 1pm, especially if you are older. Maybe integrate a coffee/snack stop with a “partner” cafe along the way?

Dori, our tour guide took very good care of us. She has tremendous knowledge of Hungary’s history as well as its current events. As a bonus, she provided us with the names of restaurants and explanations of dishes and libations which are part of the Hungarian diet. Lastly, Dori did a great job taking care of all her “chicks”!
