We had a lovely tour with Sam. Lucky for us, it was just the two of us. Sam gave exactly the right amount of history, humor and insights without dominating our experience. It was the perfect way to get to know this beautiful city.

Fantastic experience, Arash is the man!

Myself and my partner booked the 2.5 hour cycle tour of the city, and we were both over the moon with the entire experience from start to finish. Our tour guide was Arash, who was extremely informative and knowledgeable of the city. The overall experience was very relaxed, with plenty of sights to stop by and opportunities to take photos. The tour covers lots of landmarks on both the Buda and Pest sides of the city, and the route was very easy to navigate with Arash leading the way. If you’re planning on visiting Budapest for sightseeing, this is a no brainer.

A great way to get an overview of Budapest

Great itinerary and flow to the tour. Arash was an excellent guide and gave us many facts and insights to make the tour fun.

We were lucky because we were the only two persons in the group; so Arash was our privat guide. He led us through the flat part of the city, Boeda and Pest. Eventhough he was a man from Iran he knew a lot about the city and our questions didn't remain unanswered. We had a lovely afternoon and learned and saw a lot. Worthwhile.

Very fun and accommodating bike tour

My family (a senior 65+, and two young adults) took a bike tour led by a very friendly and personable guide named Beka who had excellent English and a great sense of humor. He led us to key tourist locations throughout Budapest and provided important information to each respective stop. Beka was very patient and was adept at maintaining our attention through the various facts and bits of information provided. He also was very accommodating to our Dad who was a bit less confident on the bike and needed a route that he felt confident riding, which Beka did a great job of doing. Would recommend this tour and its guide to others. Thanks Beka!

Great way to see city highlights

We did the 2.5 hour bicycle tour. Arash was an amazing guide that knows alot about the city. I wish we had time to do the 4 hour tour. This is the best way to learn the highlights of the city. It helped us plan our itinerary for the rest of the weekend. Would definitely recommend.

Great way to get to know Budapest.

Our guide was very informative and friendly. He was patient in allowing us to get used to electric bikes. Budapest is very safe and easy to cycle in.

Free upgrade to the Segway tour - Beka was fantastic!!!

I was the only one that signed up to the bike tour… To avoid 2.5 hours of awkwardness, I was given the option of a refund, an E-Bike tour or a Segway tour that already had others booked. I chose the Segway tour with Beka as our tour guide. He was absolutely fantastic, very knowledgable and funny. 10/10 recommend!

Great tour to get the layout of the city. It was an easy ride from location to location. We had perfect weather, which made for a great way to spend the morning.

Budapest by bike - great tour & guide!!

Our guide, Beka, was wonderful! He is so knowledgeable about the area in general as well as so much of the history. Our tour was customized somewhat to what our group of 4 wanted to see which was very nice. We so enjoyed this bike tour and definitely recommend it to anyone looking to do a bike tour of Budapest. It’s great!

Overall City Tour for Active

Wow! Our guide Becca was beyond amazing! On bikes we covered so much of Budapest in a scenic and active way. Becca’s history, culture, and sense of humor was greatly appreciated. You’ll need a fitness level especially to get up the grade to Budas castle. Several stops to catch your breath, get some water and scenic photo. A high light of our short stay to see many attractions. Nice to cycle and get off your feet from walking. The location was a little hard to find so allow extra time.

Excellent tour and tour guide Hafa was wonderful

Wonderful tour. Great new E-bikes. Our tour guide Hafa was very knowledgeable and provided valuable information. The entire staff were friendly and helpful. Upgraded our regular bikes with E BIKES for a minimal fee of 10 euros. Highly recommended.

Our guide was Elias. He did a great job covering lots of history. Enjoyed seeing so many sights along our route. Especially enjoyed our ride around Margaret Island. Had a great experience!

Great way to see all the sites!

Loved the tour - we got to see a bunch of sites including the Buda castle, Parliament, St. Stephan’s Basilica, the holocaust memorial, the World War Two memorial and subsequent protest for the memorial, and many more! Beka was a great tour guide as he had a vast historical knowledge of the city and he threw in a bunch of fun facts which the group loved. Thanks so much for a great day!

Fun way to see the city

This was fun. Our guide spoke perfect English and provided a good history and background of Budapest. We rode e-bikes. So if you can ride a bike you can do the tour with very little exertion.

Good.

We enjoyed this. We saw everything we expected to see. Our guide (Naour) was very pleasant and gave us some info on the major sites we saw. It's pretty easy to do all in all, the only hard bit being the uphill climb to fisherman's bastion. most of it is on the cycle paths so is pretty safe, but you do go on the roads a bit. It was okay though, the traffic can look a bit crazy at times but it was actually okay.

Don’t assume you’re going to be on the bike.

It was a good tour. It felt like a little bit of a scam. I showed up and the bike tour goes with a Segway tour. There were no bikes visible. They told me there was lots of uphill parts and if I was comfortable with my health, then I could take the bike. Otherwise, it would be an extra €20 for a Segway. They also didn’t take credit card. I enjoyed the Segway; I just feel like it was a planned upcharge.

Great bike tour

Best thing we did in Budapest, Andrea was our guide and she was so helpful, polite and knowledgeable. We had the electric bikes which takes some of the strain off the legs on a hot day. Good routes covered with very little road use so we felt safe all the time. The tour we did covered a break and the the tour company covered a langros and drink which was lovely. Andrea also was very good at recommending different other activities which we did and were perfect. The bikes were in top condition and obviously well maintained too, good stuff!

Bike and See Buda and Pest in 4 Hours

Tour Operator provided clear directions to pick up the bicycles. She provided bikes that fit each person and even carried them up from the shop. She even let us use their bathroom before we went on the ride. Our tour guide Christina was right on time, and even spent an extra hour with us. She was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining every landmark and location. The tour included a stop at a strudel shop where we were able to observe and sample during our break. We logged over 11 miles in Buda and Pest with spectacular views of the Parliament building, Heroes Square, and both sides of the Danube River! This Viator trip is not one to miss!

Very nice and informative bike tour through this beautiful city

We booked the bike tour with seven friends (19yo). The guides were very friendly and knew a lot of interesting facts about the city. We learned a lot, but it didn’t feel like a history class at all. Our tour lasted 2.5 hours, and that was a perfect amount of time. We saw the highlights of the city in a chill and relaxed way. We had a great experience, so we really recommend doing one!
