Novelty way to visit the Spa

Beautiful Spa with the beer bath in the heart of the building. Everything is well organised with somebody meeting you, explaining all the facilities and showing you around. If you forget a towel then you end up coming home with a nice souvenir for approximately 15 euros. The beer baths are great fun and brings a novelty to the visit - plus the beer is very nice and you get lots of practice pouring the perfect pint. Afterwards, you are free to roam around the many inside pools and go into the main external public baths in front of the stunning architecture of the spa. There are also free lockers outside.

This place is amazing. Our host was so friendly and accommodating the experience is a must. You can easily spend a day here.

Great way to start our time in Budapest after a long flight. Soaking in the tub felt great on the body and drinks were a bonus.

Don't miss this amazing experience!

Fabulous experience, both the thermal baths and the beer spa! An enormous, architecturally significant complex, which felt cavernous despite being busy. I was there in December, but was fortunate to visit on a sunny (somewhat) warm day. The outdoor baths were a perfect temperature, neither too warm nor too cool. The Beer Bath experience was a delight: I had a room and a keg/snacks all to myself. Changing rooms were roomy and were safely locked with a key which was easily kept, even while in the pools. Couldn't have been better!

Relaxing and Fun!

We went with another couple and shared a room for the beer spa. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very relaxing and then we enjoyed some of the pools.

Worth the money!

A great experience! Staff were very friendly and attentive, I’m not much of a beer fan (a present for my partner) so the staff gave me some ice tea to mix with the beer and it was much better! The thermal baths after were a lovely way to spend an hr or two!

A must do if going to the baths

Such a good experience with access to the baths too. The guide explains everything to make your experience easy and the set up is excellent.

A beer-tastic, fun, relaxing experience!

A fantastic experience from the very start to the end. Clear directions for where we needed to go to sign in. Greeted by friendly member of staff who showed us around and where we needed to go for the beer spa, changing rooms, and main spa area. Had our own changing cabins where we could keep all our valuables throughout the day, locked using a wristband we were provided with at the start (so no need to bring coins etc.!). Lots of different spas, sauna rooms, and steam rooms to try. Had our own tubs in own room for the beer spa experience. It was clean, lovely and warm, and lots of beer on tap. Highly recommend!

Great day out

We booked the Beer spa and skip the line for the thermal baths We were looked after really well in the Beer spa, and was a perfect way to relax with the hot thermal baths afterwards, and getting skip the line is a great idea when the weather is good as the baths was very busy, Went in April and the weather was really hot, so the hot spring baths were good as well. But not sure what they will be like if going in the winter months, But well worth the money

We would 100% do this again The staff were lovely and really informative the baths themselves were clean warm and relaxing and the beer was good too If you’re going to do this then definitely book in advance

Beer time and chill!

The beer spa was brilliant. The beer was nice. We got a snack too. And the fact that you can go and use the thermal spa as well is a plus! We went 2 hours before our beerspa time to use the rest of the facilities. A beerspa staff arranged to meet us back in the changing rooms 5/10minutes before our time and escorted us to the beer spa. Well worth it

Great fun but expensive

Great fun but not great value for money. The experience lasts only 45 minutes and lacked atmosphere but unlimited beer and a very warm bath compensated.

Unique and so much fun!

It was a really unique experience with the family. So different than anything we have done. Everyone said that they would definitely do it again! Very organized and fun. Felt great!

Great experience

Great experience. Well worth doing this as well as the main spa. This really made the day feel special. We had unlimited beer for 45 minutes and a packet of pretzels. The staff were amazing and really attentive, checking that the water was ok and informing us of what was going in.

Relaxing day in Budapest!

This was my second time enjoying the beer spa and I will continue to repeat this experience wherever I am in. Budapest. The hosts are friendly yet professional. And the beer is really tasty.

Beer Spa

This was a fun "couples" thing to do in Budapest, but I would probably say overpriced for the 45 minutes in my opinion? Contradictory to other reviews this is very easy to find if you simply follow the instructions and we were shown very clearly to our private cubicles and then where to go for the beer spa. The spa itself is very lovely but for the price it would have been nicer to have a little longer for the money and to have a private space rather than being lined up next to others. The experience was still however fun and the staff couldn't have been friendlier I would still recommend.

Good fun, good beer, good wash

Brilliant experience. We got there a little early but the women at the desk explained everything thoroughly and we managed to start our experience 20 minutes early. Beer and snacks were great.

It was a present for my husband. We both really enjoyed, it really was a great experience. The receptionist guys were amazing and so nice. We did stay at Szechenyi spa after this that was great too. It's perfect for a whole day out. :)

Great day with family at the spa in Budapest

Very fun experience to do with family, the outdoor pool is really something, staff at the beer spa was very helpful, they let my kids participate in the beer spa, we had a great time, the beer was good and the kids enjoyed the ice tea!

Not keen on the air in the beer making such a huge head. Spoilt the experience a little. Other than that a fun experience. Would go again.

A fun & unusual experience

The beer baths were a fantastic experience. The staff were great & explained everything to us about the ingredients. The bath itself was the perfect temperature & extremely relaxing. It’s such a fun experience to be able to pour yourself your own unlimited beer! It’s worth the money, and the great memories!

A nice place very crowded a lot of international tourists could do with going after 3 30 and maybe book online save waiting in the queue

This was an amazing experience. My husband and I were very pleased and impressed on how polite and accommodating the staff were. In particular Alex was very nice and has exceptional customer service skills and so does Joel who I believe trained Alex. They have made me want to go back very soon. Thank you.

Just great

Staff were super friendly. We really enjoyed the spar and beer and then onto the main spar. The outdoors was the most enjoyable part, especially in the winter cold. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Lovely but very busy

The beer spa experience is fun and you are very well looked after during it. Finding where to enter the building is difficult, so definitely research beforehand (it’s not the main entrance so don’t queue!!). The spa itself is lovely but very busy and a little tired. We enjoyed it, but the amount of people could be quite stressful for some. We didn’t get to sample some of the steam rooms and saunas because they were too full.

Beer Soaking

One answer only. Just do it…. When else can you drink beer while soaking in beer? Unless you’re the cast of Beer Fest. Our cabbie dropped us off in the wrong place at Szechenyi so we had to walk all the way around the building, so we were late by about 15minutes. They didn’t really care.. after all we coming to do some beer drinking/soaking. Super laid back. You get a private locker to store all your junk and your ticket includes any of the baths on the property….all day if you want. Worth the stop in Budapest.

Beer Spa is worth it!

Love the Beer Spa. Great staff, lot's of fun. The Szechenyi baths themselves is/was not as appealing. Kind of like going to a water park in the US - way too many people, not all the cleanest. I wish they had more smaller baths. But we would do it again just for the beer spa! The locker rooms were very good as well. Felt safe leaving everything in them while enjoying the baths. Suggest bringing throw away slippers and a good size bath towel.

Thermal Beer Spa Day

We had a great experience. The beer guide showed us to our own private locker rooms where you can leave all Your things securely. We then had a wander around the amazing indoor pools and then we went up to the beer spa at our booked time. We were shown what hops and malt etc that are put into the thermal spa waters and then we hopped in. If you book for 2 you get a tub each or you can just both hop In one. We chose to have a tub each! Then we basically poured our own beer for the next 45 minutes and enjoyed the lovely warm water. Lovely calm and fun atmosphere ! We then spent the rest of the afternoon outside in the 28degrees thermal pool! Brilliant day and amazing experience! Wish we had this in the UK! Would go back to Budapest just for this!!

Amazing beer spa experience

Got this a birthday present for my boyfriend. The staff were so friendly and made sure we were comfortable which made the experience a positive one. We had a private room and we’re provided snacks to go along with the beer, 10/10!

Unique, enjoyable and relaxing

A really relaxing enjoyable day from start to finish. Staff were so warm and friendly in the beer spa. Shame the staff in the main spa were not as nice. They were cold unsmiling and not at all welcoming I would have no hesitation in recommending a visit to the beer spa We could have sat in the tub all day. Lovely and warm. The beer was good too Skin was lovely and soft after It was one of the best aspects of our visit to Budapest just loved it Set in an area with some beautiful walks Our day was made better by the lovely sunshine. We lay sunbathing on a subbed by the main pool. A pleasant surprise in October
