It was awesome! Adam was great! Really enjoyed the experience. I would recommend it to others and would like to return for the night time lights.

Worth doing even if you’re nervous.

The climb was a wonderful experience. My first experience of climbing a bridge. The guide could have spoken a bit slow (tough to catch the Aussie accent). The weather was good not too exerting. The view from the top is awesome. A good test for one's physical capability.

Climbing a steel mountain…why wouldn’t you?!?

The Story Bridge Adventure Climb Experience ROCKED! I never thought I would do this. It wasn’t even on my radar to do. I climb real mountains, never steel ones. It was interesting though, my first day in Brisbane I walked a loop around the river and ended up at an awesome Italian Food Festival at Howard Smith Wharves. I walked the board walk and kept taking pictures of the Story Bridge. As I was doing so, I kept noticing people on the top of it and would stop to watch them climb up and over. Honestly still not thinking a thing of it. YET for some unknown reason I was working the next morning on my computer and have literally no idea why, but looked it up. I found The Story Bridge Adventure Climb Experience and remembered a friend who lived here for a month told me about it but said he was too chicken to do it. I randomly checked tickets and there was an available ticket for 3pm. I just said yes! AND yayyyy for me. It was an amazing experience. The people in my small group...2 brothers where 1 brother surprised the other, and 2 sisters where 1 sister surprised the other…I mean…what?! Why was I there?!? Haha. I love it. They were awesome and GEMMA was AMAZING!!! So much energy and positivity and she just took us through everything with complete ease and grace. She is a fabulous story teller and was caring for us while training a new colleague…which was cool to watch. They all take our safety and the safety of every user of the bridge very seriously. The pace is easy to keep up with and the experience is unique and fun and worth the views. I mean…why not climb a mountain made of local Australian steel that is the symbol of Brisbane and is the largest steel bridge designed, fabricated and constructed in Australia by Australians. Not to mention this Story Bridge Climb is one of only three bridges you can climb in the world.  Interestingly, all three bridges just happen to be ‘Down Under’ in Australia and New Zealand.  The three are the Brisbane Story Bridge, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the Auckland Harbour Bridge. So seriously, why wouldn’t you???

Views of Brisbane - amazing!

Adam led us on a fun and informative climb of the Story Bridge. Great views of Brisbane and loved hearing all the facts and details about our history (bridge and the city). Absolutely recommend a hike up the bridge - do it!

Brilliant Afternoon Adventure 🤩

Absolutely sensational. Chap took us safely to the top of the world and shared so many interesting stories on the way. I live 100m away from the Story Bridge and had no idea about its history. Great fun with a great guide!! Thank you 🙏🏻

Twilight was a highlight!

What a fantastic experience! Absolutely beautiful views combined with some very interesting facts about the history of the bridge. Loved every second!

Great views and a cool experience, but beware of having to pay for photos….

Our guide was awesome and good at keeping the group engaged and had plenty of history facts about the bridge. The views were really good and the walk not super challenging so most people could do it. All the staff are really friendly and look like the genuinely enjoy what they are doing. The only thing that stops it being 5 stars is that I feel it’s quite overpriced for what it is. Understandably, you can’t take a phone up there for your own photos, which obviously is for safety with drops, but then any photos that are taken of you, bar a group photo, which let’s be honest who wants a group photo with random strangers, is charged at $29. The price realistically should include all photos taken, as otherwise it feels a bit price gougey.

Amazing adventure. Adam is so patient and informative and made it a thoroughly enjoyable time. View is amazing. Safety is paramount so there's no chance of any accidents.

Worth it!

My partner and I have wanted to claim the bridge for years. We finally booked a climb and it was so worth it. The view was incredible! Our tour guide, Mike, was awesome. He shared a history of the bridge and Brisbane city. He also laughed at my jokes so he’s now one of my best friends.

Professional, courteous and well explained all the way through. Excellent clean equipment. The view was amazing and Nicole our guide was superb.

A brilliant climb

A fantastic and informative tour, Nick made everyone feel as ease and was so knowledgeable about Brisbane. Learnt a lot about my home city and now have even more places to explore. Very impressive structure and a true Queensland icon experience. Highly recommended

Tour on the bridge

The tour was professionally done. Great views and the pace of the climb was good. At the top of the bridge, there were a series of photo's that you could buy at a good price

Our tour leader Jess was absolutely amazing and being both 80 years old, she looked after us like a “Mother Hen”and made sure we never put a foot wrong! Even though it was steep at times we felt very safe and the views of Brisbane were amazing. Highly recommended and especially to our fellow “seniors “, whatever your age, but make sure you arrange a rest the day after

Twilight Bridge Climb

Great experience compared to having done climbed the O2 in London. Downside you can’t take own camera so your stick purchasing their package. Price is good, but I’m still waiting for it to be emailed to me.

A must do in Brisbane!

Despite the pouring rain, the climb was fabulous! Gemma was enthusiastic, engaging, friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend!

Riley did a great job leading the tour. The tour was longer than I expected which was good thing as we walked half the bridge - both sides. I enjoyed the stories and the history of Brisbane and the bridge

Night time bridge climb

Mike was the absolute best tour guide! He couldn’t have done a better job if he tried… what a fabulous night of adventure. Give that man a pay rise.

A must do in Brisbane!

For the adrenaline junkies, great views from the top of the bridge, lots of stairs but not too steep. Everything was explained well, great commentary at the top which probably was a little too long, a lot of details were repeated and as it was raining we probably could've done with a shortened version. All in all though an enjoyable experience that is a must do experience when visiting Brisbane.

We did the climb with our American cousin to showcase our beautiful city whilst she holidays with us. We had a wonderful and very informative tour and the cityscape was so beautiful at night….amazing Would definitely recommend it to anyone to see our city from above.

Am amazing experience - highly recommended

We had an awesome time with our guide Reilly. It was just the 3 of us for the 6.00pm climb and it really was such a treat to have the evening to ourselves. The views were spectacular and we really couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Reilly took the time to check our safety and look after us. Fantastic way to see and learn a bit about Brissy Culture

We did the sunset climb and it truly is the best time to go! The heat of the day is gone and watching the sun set makes for awesome views and photos. Our guide Chap was fantastic, very knowledgeable and knew how to have a laugh. I’d absolutely recommend it.

An amazing climb! A must do!

An amazing experience I got to enjoy with my mum, partner and best friend. As someone afraid of heights it’s was challenging but with our host Ange’s support and energy and fun facts about how steady the story bridge is I was able to keep on going. An unbelievable view and a must do in Brisbane. Thank you Ange for the energy you brought to our climb.

Stunning Brisbane Views

What a trill to climb the Brisbane Story Bridge! We had an amazing night climb. We love the night-time view of downtown Brisbane. Jen was a wonderful guide. Our only recommendation is ghat a better camera (better technology) be used for the nighttime photos. The flag trend to blur the beautiful background. Otherwise I would highly recommend this tour.

Story bridge climb - what a story!

Fantastic trip on the Story Bridge this afternoon with my husband, brother & sister in-law. Our guide Mike explained in depth the history of the bridge and we thoroughly enjoyed his trivia style games. It rained on and off during our climb, however Mike made us feel safe and comfortable the entire trip. Mike we just love you and your energy. Thanks a million! x

Awesome Climb Experience

Our guide Emily, was a sparkplug! She made us laugh and she gave us wonderful insight into the building of the Bridge! She was very funny, pleasant and above all, she made us feel safe!

Great adventure with some amazing views

Fantastic and different way to take in the city views, our guide Mike was amazing, very knowledgeable. Doing the twilight climb is a must, the colours of the sunset and then the city and bridge lights makes for a memorable experience

Went to the day climb on story bridge. It was truly amazing. Stunning views, facts and stories about brisbane and amazing guide! I strongly recommend this tour to everybody with 2-3 hours to spare in Brisbane! I might come back for the twillinght or night climb as well!

Disappointed honeymoon climb

The climb itself was wonderful and the guide was excellent. The reason I’m giving two stars is because the price of the climb was supposed to come with a group pic. Unfortunately, the company lost the pics from my climb, so not only did I not get my team pic, but I had paid for extra pics which I did not receive as well. This was very disappointing to me because we were visiting from the US, and since we were not allowed to bring our phones, we have no proof of doing this climb. The company did offer for us to come back and redo the climb but they called me days later after I initially emailed them looking for my pics and at this point our flight was the next morning which made it unable for us to do the climb. It would’ve been nice if they offered us either a partial refund since we did not get our team pick which was supposed to come with the price of the climb or a Credit for a new climb when we come back to Brisbane but unfortunately they did not. I understand accidents happened, but I am very disappointed. Going home with no proof of climbing this bridge. 😞

Dawn Climb was worth it!

The view is beautiful and I really enjoyed watching the sunrise at the top of the bridge. It was worth getting up before 4am. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. They don’t have ear pieces to hear the guide like the Sydney Harbour Bridge which would be my only suggestion on how to make it better.

The climb proved to be much more informative than I had expected. Gemma was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the climb and the city below us. The climbing was quite easy with numerous stops and safety was a priority at all times. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We climbed the Story Bridge in the rain with Alison. She was great! She was careful to ensure that everyone was comfortable and climbed at a pace that was suitable for all. She was knowledgeable and made the experience authentic and enjoyable.

Great experience. We were led by Riley, who was super friendly and should be made an honorary Australian due to her knowledge of Brisbane. For those with a fear of heights, it's not that bad. You get used to it pretty quickly. I would highly recommend it

Overcome your fear and do it!

It was an achievement for me as I'm nervous about heights. The guide, Sep, was very knowledgeable and interesting, but also helped me with my nerves. Recommend!
