Disappointed

Terrible company they canceled on the day which left us with nothing to do … I even tried to confirm for days but no one gets back to you. Warning do not use..

No show waste of time

It didn't happen! We turned up at the designated area about half hour before and no one was there. We waited half an hour and messaged the company but didn't get an answer, waste of time and still waiting for a refund! Not very happy!

Unprofessional to the maximum

They didn't communicate with us that the tour was cancelled. Thanks for nothing. I don't even know if they ever have a real tour. And the phone number on google maps and tripadvisor is outdated so we accidentally called a poor woman in Melbourne who always gets calls that were supposed to go to this garbage company

Think twice before you book it! It's a scam!

I should have read the last two reviews before making the booking. It's a scam. Dont even try to the number listed in their HELP page. It won't even ring. I called the mobile listed before you go page. No one picks up the phone. I've tried the email and it's still pending for someone to reply. I am just hoping they will refund my money asap. Think twice before you book it.

Frustrating & disappointed. Scam. Payment made and no show. Don’t book. Called phone numbers provided. Emailed. Sent messages.

They didn’t show up so we were not able to go on the tour and still haven’t heard back from them. We went to both locations listed where the meeting point was and tried contacting them multiple times with no response.

Nobody show up when we arrived the gathering place. Nobody answered my phone call and we waited for 30 minutes and then left. Though the organizer finally refunded the participation fee, it really jeopardized our holiday mood and I wouldn’t recommend my friends to join this tour. At least they should inform the participants in advance if they intend to cancel the activity. 當我們按照集合集合時間到達集合地點，發覺沒有負責人到場，等候十多分鐘後致電主辦單位，但是沒有人接聽，最終等了30分鐘便離開。雖然最終都收到退款，但是旅遊的心情已經受到影響。

Great for the whole family.

Excellent host - had our 6 year old feeling confident and flying around in no time! Lovely, family activity, as we often find kids need to be 8 or 12 for segway, but these adapted versions were brilliant, Nd meant we could all participate and enjoy.

It was great! enjoyed it thoroughly. And also our trainer was really good . We would love to do it again

Awesome day, awesome tour, awesome guide - and great value

What an amazing day… We arrived a little early, but everything was all set up for us. We had a good training session, as none of us had been on a Segway before. Extra attention and care was spent with our son, which was appreciated - but he turned out to be the superstar rider out of us three! There was a lot of patience, a lot of dialog and highlighting areas on the tour, just an all around amazing experience. SO MUCH FUN, and really, a great value for this personalized ride. If you’re looking to step into something different and have an adventure - GO FOR IT!

Fantastic Family Fun!

Ruben was a fantastic guide, very friendly and helpful (with a great sense of humor). This was our first Segway experience and we were very unsure about it! We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it, thanks Ruben!

Yes, yes and yes again!

Picked this tour as the smaller segways allowed my 11 year old tp use them but was a little dubious as to what we would experience. Well, that was blown out of the water as soon as we met Reuben at the clearly desugnated meeting place by the Swan Rovwr. Helpful, friendly, and immediately reassuring, we had a well explained practice run before we set off. We went both ways along the riverfront in the time we had. What an excellent way to explore South Bank and the machines are more powerful than what I expected. Enormous fun and would highly recommend.

Great family fun!

Lots of laughs with the family. Reuben was great with the kids while they got the hang of handling the segways.

Great ‘craic’!

Travelled from Sydney as we moved there recently from Ireland. Great tour and great tour guide, made it so fun! Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Brisbane!

First time users and were not disappointed

I have wanted to try using a Segway and this seemed an ideal way to give it a go. We brought our student along as well and were not disappointed. The guide was good fun (I think it was Rueben from Tanzania) and swapped our Segways around depending on the speed (our student ended up with the faster one) and ability. Definitely recommend it for a fun outing.

SCAM. Xwing Segway Tours Brisbane..Reuben. LOL!!

SCAM! Purchased and Booked for a party of 8, over a year ago ($400). Multiple times they have cancelled on us forcasting rain, either on the day or day before. When trying to reschedule, can't get through via two mobile numbers previously used. One number reissued to someone else. Won't reply email either.0!

Rolling with Reuben!

We enjoyed trying the mini Segways. We have always been on the full size ones on other tours. It was sometimes difficult to hear the guide as we were rolling. He was very kind and informative, but we missed much of it. Maybe a wireless headset set up would be beneficial.

Terrible

Never left a review before but felt like I had to warn people. Brought a scoopon voucher but for 5 weeks left messages to book the tour for a family of 4 and the guy I spoke to never booked us in or repnded to texts/emails. I put a complaint in to scoopon as they never answered their phone or emails. Finally getting a refund! Would understand if they were fully booked oe had closed due to covid, but they are still currently advertising. I have never had this experience. Surprised they have had good reviews!

Unforgettable experience

Ruben is very friendly and considerate. Though our original booking is in the morning and was missed due to the covid staffing issue, he proposed to offer us a sunset tour just for me and my son. The tour was so great that we didn't even want to stop. Strongly recommending this to family with young kids who want to experience the Segways.

So much fun!

This was just great! Myself and my 13,11 and 9 year olds did this today with Reuben and loved every minute. He was so kind, patient and fun, making sure we were comfortable and had a good time. This is a brilliant way to see our beautiful city. Would recommend to anyone. Request Reuben :)

Amazing tour

What a great time we had. Ruben could not have been beet, he was excellent. This is a great tour to try.

X-wing Scam alert

Wow. SCAM ALERT. Arrived for our tour, rang to confirm we were at the right meeting place only to be told tour cancelled due to covid protests - No prior warning and found out this was a lie. No covid protest in botanical gardens. Was suspicious when Reuben pressed me for payment to confirm booking. Asked for confirmation email twice and then got told wrong time. Has now asked me to never book with his company again as he has zero tolerance for abuse - like I’m ever going to give him a second chance to fleece me. Very unprofessional.

Zero customer service

Never got to do it as they never showed up, would not recommend them and I am still waiting for my refund 10 days later. No communication from them and because I threatened to give them a bad review they then called me and told me not to threaten them. Enjoy your tour if you get to do it but don’t hold your breath

So much fun!

This was so much fun! We did the Brisbane tour with Reuben who was an excellent guide. It was my sons birthday and Reuben made it a special day for him! We were all beginners but it is so easy to learn and we were zooming along in no time! We are definitely going to do this again.

Fun day out

I went in the tour from Kurilpa Park with my 2 daughters, aged 10 and 12. We had a brilliant time. Reuben was a great guide and the location was ideal for first timers as it wasn’t too busy. We’ll definitely be back with visitors to Brisbane as it’s a lovely way to experience the Southbank area and have some laughs along the way.

Fantastic fun tour

My daughter and I had a fantastic tour today with Reuben!! He was so helpful and lots of fun and with his help we got the hang of it quickly and had a fabulous time. Thanks so much! Would definitely recommend and hope to bring my other children with us next time we're in Brisbane!

Fabulous afternoon with teens

We had a fabulous afternoon with Reuben riding the segways by the river. Such a great family activity with teens and tweens. We have done a similar ride overseas but loved our Brisbane excursion just as much. It’s a must-do!

Brilliant segway tour...HIGHLY recommend!!

Brilliant hour with Reuben travelling around Brisbane city and Southbank. For 2 uncoordinated adults, it was surprisingly easy and we loved segwaying through sites we have never visited. A fun guide, with local knowledge and gave us lots of laughs. Highly recommend this for tour for any age. Huge amount of fun!!!

Brisbane mini segway tour must do!

Wow our family had the best time on our tour with Rueben. He was so patient and a great instructor and tour guide. We had a weekend in Brisbane and this was a great way to see the city with a limited amount of time. My daughters 9 & 13 had the best time as did my husband and I. We highly recommend this company from booking to keeping updated with weather due to rescheduling really professional and easy to deal with - Thank you.

Great Family Fun!

Great surprise present for my two boys! Our guide was extremely patient and encouraging with our beginner skills. Highly recommend to anyone wanting something different to do in Brisbane.

Took my girls (14 & 11) out to Clontarf to try out the Segways. We had a fantastic time! Reuben was a great teacher, and the 3 of us were speeding along in no time! Definitely recommend 😊

Great experience for an 8 year old and his nervous Mum! We both had a blast with Reuben a patient and reassuring guide. It was a very easy booking and confirmation process from our initial enquiry right through to the event. We are keen to experience some of the other tours.

Highly recommended - very enjoyable

Our 60 minute tour around the river with Reuben, was awesome! The segways are easy to handle, and our 10 year old loved zipping around. Reuben is a great guide. Very enjoyable experience.

Reuben a true treasure

Perfect for a 10th Birthday

I booked this for my daughters 10th birthday with a group of friends. The instructor was great and so patient with those that were a little nervous riding the segway for the first time. By the time they came back from their 45 minute tour they were all so happy!

This is the seg-way to go!

We had so much fun on our segway tour with Reuben! There were thrills and laughs, adventure and excitement. We would definitely recommend this activity to visitors and locals alike. 😊

Lots of fun

I gave Mum and John a voucher for a segway tour for Christmas. We did the one hour tour in Redcliffe with Reuben who took great care of Mum, who wasn't as confident on the segway. These are smaller segways than I have been on before so didn't feel quite as sturdy but were easy to keep balanced, even with the wind on the peninsula that afternoon. It was great fun and the hour went so quickly.

‘Fun’... kind of 😂

Four 40-50 yr women thought this would be a fun Sunday activity! Yes it was, thanks to Rueben who had to assist me most of the tour but was super encouraging and reassuring. The others got the hang of it enough to have a fun and challenging 45mins trying to master our machines. We laughed a lot between bouts of panic but Rueben had us under control.. except when we weren’t ...lol. Sutton’s beach was a nice relatively easily location to try it. Def recommend this to most people.

Fun experience

This morning my family and I did a x-wing tour for 75mins with Reuben we had a fabulous morning. Kids 8 & 10 loved it. Reuben was very knowledgeable of the area and a terrific x-wing instructor fully recommend a tour as a great activity for the family. Thanks Reuben

Fantastic tour of Brisbane!

Did a tour this morning with a 9 and 11 year old. Reuben was a great teacher and we were off in no time. Kids and adults had a fantastic time. Would never have convinced the 9 year old to do a city tour any other way. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic introduction to Segways

Reuben took the time to give 2 middle aged men the confidence to take off, at a safe speed, and have a great ride along beautiful Clontarf foreshore. Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Thanks again Reuben, Brian and Wilsen

Great fun and good way to see the city sights!

We had soo much fun today on the X-Wing mini Segway tour around Southbank. Rueben was very accommodating and provided personalised service. Kids and adults had fun, ages 12 and 15. Highly recommend doing this tour if your visiting or live in Brisbane. Plenty of humour, fun and some speedy competition!
