Matt knows his beer and took us through a knowledge rich tour of some of the best breweries in Brisbane. He gave us insight into the history of the IPA, ingredients of beer, styles, proper techniques of tasting beer, took us behind the scenes into the production areas of the brewery, tasted grain, enjoyed the aromatics of hops and even hooked me up with bday cake (cheers Matt) But also beer, so much beer! What a fantastic afternoon! As an avid brewer myself, Matt's knowledge of the brewing process was bang on and delivered in nugget-sized bites which were easily digested by our party. Great beers, good conversation, and an excellent choice of breweries were complimented perfectly by Matt's affable and easy-going style. You'd be mad to miss it!

This has been my second tour with these guys first time for a bucks party and this time with workmates for a Christmas breakup and I will go again and again. The tour guides are so informative and I learnt more stuff on my second time round plus going to different breweries as well it's amazing how many breweries there are in Brisbane and I want to try them all but only ever with these guys. Another great afternoon

This was my 3rd tour with Hop On, and like the others it was excellent. Matt made everyone so at ease that our disparate group of drinkers were exchanging friendly banter immediately and enjoying a collective experience. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon (and early evening)! Matt (and Joselyn from a previous trip) are very informative and create a fantastic rapport with the group and brewers alike. We tasted a variable range of beers at 3 craft breweries just outside of Brisbanes' CBD. Both the day and half day tours are highly recommended.

Matt was our guide and he did a great job. The afternoon was filled with not just beer but also interesting information. We learned a great deal about the craft beer culture of Brisbane.

Matt, our tour guide, was very well versed in the history and current craft beer culture in Brisbane. He gave us plenty of different beers to taste and enjoy. We both had a good time for our afternoon and came away from it with a good appreciation of what is available in Brisbane.

The whole experience was relaxed , fun and totally enjoyable. Matt's knowledge of what he was presenting and sense of hummer made it a relaxed and worth while way to spend an afternoon together with other patrons. I totally recommend to anyone who enjoys a cold beer.

Fantastic beer day!!

What a brilliant day we had! We absolutely loved the tour and Matt made it fun and exciting. I was very impressed by the knowledge Matt had with regards to the brewing process and anything around beer really! The breweries we went to were also fantastic. We recently relocated to Brisbane from Sydney and we weren't sure Brisbane would have as many good breweries, but we are now convinced! I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in beer!

Fabulous Tour

Matt was a fantastic guide, full of great beer information and really took an interest in what each of us liked. We actually learned some things about beer on this tour that we have not learned on any other beer tour we have been on. It was a small group (only 6 of us) so it was really quite personal and Matt ensured he catered to all our likes. It was super fun and OMG, the beer was terrific and plentiful. I could not have asked for better. This tour was gifted to me and I will definitely be doing another one with Hop On Brewery Tours along with buying gift vouchers for others. Great day out, Joc was a superb well informed guide for the day. Started off at Newstead brewery then on to Green Beacon, lunch at Milton Common then rounded off at White Lies in Sumner. Couldn’t recvomend this more if you are a beer lover, enjoy 👍🍺

Awesome Brissy Day!

This is a great day out. I learnt a lot abour beer and the brewing process. It was a slick operation...getting a bunch of progressively drunker people in and out of venues and on and off a bus...but he didn't lose anyone and we all made it home :) Great way to try different tastes and styles.

Date night

We chose the activity to get out and see more of our own backyard. Glad we did as we had a great afternoon of fun. The beer info was interesting, the beer tasting was great and the company was awesome. Thanks Matt for a great afternoon!

Crafty Boys!

Great tour, excellent beer knowledge. Matt was the best! Our whole group had an excellent time. The locations were great, with a different feel at each venue. The Crafty Boys Untapped highly recommend to anyone wanting to know more about out local craft beer scene in QLD.

Highly Recommend - Great Afternoon out and about!

What a great afternoon! Fabulous Christmas gift from our daughter. Matt was a lovely host, and had a great knowledge of the breweries and their craft! An informative yet pretty chilled and relaxed afternoon. Was also nice to visit a brewery that we'd not heard of before ... opened a new door there! #miltoncommon. Whether you live in Brisbane or are visiting, this is a great way to spend the afternoon ... and the beers were very tasty! (would like to do the lunch tour next!) Would highly recommend this tour.

Awesome day out exploring the Best of Brisbane!

We celebrated my husband's belated birthday yesterday on Matt's Best of Brisbane tour and loved every minute of it! We learned so much about beer...and Brisbane! And Matt dispelled so many myths for us. Plus, the beers were super delicious too! Matt even dropped us off at home at the end! Great day out with a knowledgeable and likable guide. Would definitely recommend! 🍻

Beerzies, Breweries and Banter

What a great way to knock off a few hours in an arvo, Matty the host is an absolute legend with amazing knowledge across venues, history and the nuts and bolts of beer production. I cannot recommend enough! Thanks Matt, from the kiwis / Hauraki team!

The guys had a great day out.

We organised a "menz club" outing from our retirement village. We were taken on the complete tour and it was very impressive. We learnt a lot. Everyone was looking forward to the beer tasting. Some were very good, others not so. Who puts fruit into beer? We ended the day with a great lunch at the in house restaurant.

What a great time we had! Picked up on time and transferred around in style. Joslyn knows Brisbane and knows beer. We learnt about making beer, the craft beer scene in Brisbane and some quirky history of Brisbane. There were plenty of samples to drink at the 3 breweries we visited.Well paced, we never felt rushed but finished on time. We will all be back with the next generation of beer drinkers, our sons.

One of the best days out, our group enjoyed the great variety of craft beers and the vibe of the brew houses. Fantastic tour, very knowledgeable, great beers

I took my Father and Father -n-Law on the tour with Matt (co-owner) and had a great time. Picked up in Fortitude Valley and a short mini-bus trip to the first of three great microbreweries. We learnt more about beer and the brewing process in one afternoon than a lifetime's worth of sitting in the pub. Fantastic range of beers sampled, each with its own story. Plenty of time at each place to soak in the atmosphere and then a short journey to the next. Great attention to detail and even pretzel's and water between each venue. I'd highly recommend the tour and may even return for another. Cheers!

Perfect way to spend a few hours

What a fantastic tour we had, Jocelyn was very friendly and knowledgeable. We visited three craft breweries and sampled many lovely beers. If you love beer, and are visiting Brisbane, you can’t go wrong with Hop On. I would definitely recommend this tour.
