Great cruise up the Brisbane River, perfect way to see the city and learn some history. The crew were friendly n helpful. Highly recommend

Money Worth ??

I really felt ripped off when I booked these tickets and being charged in US$ when it should be AUS$ . Wasn't really worth the money when converted

Great time River Cruise

A great cruise 90 mins. We had not booked walked up and were welcome to board. Paid on board very reasonable price. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good and interesting information on the history of the River and Brisbane Would highly recommend it

Very enjoyable

Very enjoyable experience the captain of the boat kept making funny jokes! When he did the math for stuff he did it in both metric and imperial measurements! Very knowledgeable about the local area as well.

The staff and the cruise were absolutely amazing. The staff were accommodating and allowed us to come on the tour even though we had not pre-registered. They were all so very friendly and helpful

Great way to see life along the river

We took this cruise as we had a day to fill in. It was lovely..relaxing cruising the river with a bubbles. Staff were great, commentary was informative, comfortable and lovely scenery.

Relaxing cruise

The captain gave a very interesting commentary. The views are spectacular. This was our first visit to Brisbane so the cruise was a great introduction. All the crew were very pleasant and helpful.

Nice boat ride

It was easy to board the boat. Comfortable trip that gave me a small look and information of Brisbane.

A must even for regular city travellers

A perfect way to view the city, take in the sites and some Brisbane history. Nice to see how the others live and the go to places for a meal and a view.

Nice morning on the Brizzy river

This was actually quite a good river cruise with good commentary. It’s a good way to see the city and suburbs. The only thing is I have problems with walking up and down stairs so I missed out on Devonshire tea and a cup of tea even though the stu walked passed me twice with trays of Devonshire and she didn’t even ask if I wanted any and they did tray service to all the other passengers as well. Something to think about eh ladies. The Captain was very pleasant and really took care of everyone. Overall it was a good morning on the water

From the river to the sea.

Loved the tour. It gave us a real appreciation of the city and its s history and how important the river is to its residents

Don't Buy Ticket in Advance

This event did not happen for me. Parking is underneath the Queensland Museum, of which there is poor to no signage about directions to the River Cruise. I didn't see any. If you're not from the Brisbane area, you will not know or see the river from the underground parking garage. This is the first tourist attraction in Australia that will not refund or credit towards a similar or other attraction from the company. If there is any chance that you will not make it to the exact location, on time (traffic jam, car problems, insufficient directions), wait until you get to the dock to purchase your ticket. I gave them a 2-rating because they did acknowledge my emails Hopefully, the directions from the parking garages will be remedied soon.

Solo traveler enjoyed river cruising.

I was a solo traveler and nothing much to say. But i enjoyed the 90mins river cruise and also saw some wonderful houses along the river. Mind soothing.

So good I did it twice.

Great value for money, friendly crew with an exceptional recorded commentary telling you everything you need to know regarding the history of Brisbane and life on the river. There is a licensed bar on board with upper and lower deck seating. Payment is by card only. Pre-booking is not essential as you can purchase tickets onboard.

Very scenic. Enjoyed the commentary. Story bridge and expensive houses of billionaires were good to see. Nice small boat built in 1966 still being used for the purpose it was built.

Was a relaxed and very interesting cruise along the Brisbane river. The commentary was full of interesting facts and history along the way.

Site seeing tour

Excellent staff and weather conditions on a lovely warm April day. Boat is basic but comfortable. Audio commentary was ok. For the price you pay this is a very worthwhile trip to get around Brisbane.👍

Excellent Relaxing

We were well taken cared off the boat ride was comfortable and the crew were amazing. Add to that the sconce tea and coffee was a nice touch.

Nice view, good vibes and relaxing

It was our first evening in the city of Brisbane. We wanted to explore the city from the river and see a different perspective. After a nice late lunch at a riverside restaurant, we waited for our cruise boat. It was not boring because we had a lot to see and snap a few pictures of the sunset. We enjoyed it.

Very relaxing boat ride. The sconce that was served was delicious. Informative tour of the history and facts about brisbane. The crew was also friendly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and enjoyable cruise

Beautiful cruise, very informative and enjoyable! Staff went above and beyond to ensure a lovely experience for all. The scones were a nice touch for morning tea. Not overcrowded and very relaxed - loved it!!

Had an absolute blast on...

Had an absolute blast on this river cruise, the captain "tiny tim" was really funny and made it very enjoyable.. it was abit drizzly on the day we went but that didn't matter with such great hosts

Highly recommend this cruise

Great cruise, friendly staff, excellent commentary, and of course, beautiful day. Morning tea was supplied for both upper and lower decks.

The trip was great and we have a lovely weather. It was veey relaxing and excellent commentary on the sites along the cruise.

Plenty to see!

A very enjoyable river cruise. The staff were very obliging and the accompanying commentary was informative. The top deck of the boat was under cover and so shaded from the sun.

The staff were really friendly, and we enjoyed the scones for morning tea. The commentary was interesting but sometimes we couldn't hear it over the other passengers chatting.

Fabulous informative experience of Brisbane and its iconic river

The crew and captain were friendly and great at their job. Commentary was super interesting and we loved some of the humour. Morning tea scones were yum! Fantastic way of obtaining a history of Brisbane while travelling along the iconic Brisbane river. Loved the experience and thank you.

Cruise Brisbane City 2024

A good trip up the scenic river through the city on a nice sunny day. The scones for morning tea were great. Met a nice newly married Brisbane couple enjoying their honeymoon and had a good chat, thank you..

Tim the captain was amazing as well as the two other ladies on the boat who served us drinks. The commentary was great, the weather was great, and the whole experience was just amazing. Perfect little boat ride down the river on a nice day.

Lovely cruise, be aware that prices are USD

Cruise was lovely and I enjoyed listening to the captain. The breeze was nice on a hot day. The prices should state it is in USD. I'm from Australia and was expecting to pay $68.90 then had $111.00 taken from my bank.

A great way to view Brisbane

A good way to see Brisbane from a different perspective, most enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the journey. I would recommend this as as essential as part of a holiday to Brisbane.

A different perspective of the city

This was a great trip from the South Bank Cultural Centre down stream to just beyond Breakfast Creek and back. It gave an opportunity to see the city central area from a different viewpoint as well as noting the work being carried out to create new pedestrian bridges to connect the CBD to South Bank and Kangaroo Point. Beyond the Story Bridge it was interesting to note the many industrial buildings which have been converted to housing. The journey was smooth with a helpful commentary as points of interest were passed. The light refreshments provided were appreciated. Highly recommended.

Comfortable and Informative

This was a lovely introduction to Brisbane and a great way to see and hear how the city developed over the years. The biscuits were amazing and the boat was very comfortable.

Not happy

We missed the cruise as was unable to locate where it left from. When contacting the mobile number & advising what had happened I was told that I couldn't be refunded. It was extremely disappointing.

Wonderful morning Cruise!

the cruise was wonderful ! Stuffs were so kind and view from upstairs was so comfortable and nice view from the beginning to the end! I recommend you! And the scones with strawberries and whipped cream you offered us for free was really delicious. We loved them,Thanks!

Tight on time - great way to see Brisbane!

We were only in Brisbane via cruise ship for a very short day and the river cruise was a great way to see the city and get a sense of how beautiful it truly is. We really enjoyed it.

Good trip on the water

Brisbane gets hot and a river cruise is the best way to get out on the water and get some freash air. A good day out to see the sites.

Brisbane River cruise

Enjoyed the cruise & the commentary. Staff were very helpful & responsive in rolling down weather covers when we encountered some rain on the trip. Catering, tea/coffee & scones, were nice touch. Happy to recommend.

Not always sure what I was looking at!

Enjoyable overall but felt pre recorded commentary was a little out of date and could have included more information on names and use of tall skyscrapers and history of bridges other than Story. New bridge being built not mentioned! Liked photos on the free map which showed how riverside has changed. Staff helpful and friendly.

A nice experience which I highly recommend

Very relaxing cruise...we can see the city from another perspective and it is very nice. I took a lot of pics as the weather was great. The comments were interesting too; I learned quite a few things.

Enjoyed the tour. Loved the sights and musics.

Great river cruise

Great River tour. Informative and interesting. They even had a map to point out some of the history of the buildings and bridges. Crew were friendly. Would highly recommend this tour

Great tour, affordable price!

We had a group of 7 in our family take the 90 minute city cruise in January 2024, including ourselves, our parents and 12 year old. It was fantastic! We got a good look at Brisbane from the river, the guide pointed out lots of interesting facts along the way and morning tea of coffee, tea and scones with jam and cream was included. There is also a bar downstairs where you can purchase alcohol, other beverages and snacks if you want. I would definitely do this again. It was very relaxing, well paced and the guide was knowledgeable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
