Brighton i360 Sky Bar Flexi Ticket

A fabulous evening, in spite of the thick sea fog!

I prebooked a sunset slot when the forecast was showing clear skies following a sunny day. Sadly the forecast changed dramatically and we couldn't even see half way up the tower due to mist & fog! We were offered to return on a clearer day, but we decided to go ahead and found we were the only 2 customers aboard. The staff could not do enough for us, ensuring we still enjoyed our experience. Both Claire & Mamadou were really helpful, answering any questions and explaining how they operated the abseil etc They even played a rock playlist for me - perhaps the first time the pod has had AC/DC blasting out! We really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone - whatever the weather!

Not what I expected

Hmm. Not really overly impressed with this experience to be honest Wasn't even half an hour Views are good but hard to get photos of some areas Was expecting it to rotate but it doesn't Would I go again? No not really

Great views and fun experience really helpful staff - recommend

Amazing views, fun staff and really made the experience special. We had the whole pod singing happy birthday which really made it special 50th birthday for our friend to remember after a difficult year.

Chilled experience

The experience was so relaxing with chill out music throughout. We were given this as a couples gift and added our two boys too. The views were lovely, sparkling wine was delicious and other food and beverages available from the bar during trip. They take photos of the family before boarding and you can get a lovely keepsake book and keyring etc for £20.

Great views, great staff

Absolutely fantastic experience as the sun went down. The English sparkling wine was as good as any champagne. The experience was made even more special by the quality of the staff, especially Shannon and Sam M. Brilliant ambassadors for the i360

Fabulous memories to treasure forever

Wow what an experience. Staff were fab and because of the weather and no body else was on board (and we were early) we got the pod to ourselves. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the members of staff asked us what music we wanted - fabulous people service and amazing experience. Would definitely reccomend xx

Ideal for any age . Stunning views

Pre booked . On arrival we went through a security check then to a lounge to wait for the pod .. We had the most beautiful day for November for our ride. Views were stunning & there are cards on the hand rail to inform you of points of interest. A lady also gave some information over a microphone about the ride. 452 feet is how high we went up. A great experience for all ages .. bubbles were included in our price, but nibbles & drinks can be purchased at the bar in the pod

Loved it!

Bought a gift voucher for my mum for the flight and afternoon tea, which we did today and it was brilliant! Loved the i360, really fun, great views and a glass of fizz enjoyed during the flight. We then had afternoon tea, which was lovely. All the staff we so friendly and it was a great afternoon, definitely recommend.

Amazing!

What a way to spend a birthday! Not cheap, but a fabulous experience. The day that we went was sunny and crystal clear so that the view from the top was amazing. At 450 feet high you could see for miles. Drinking English sparkling wine at 11.00am seemed a bit decadent, but birthdays only come once a year!

Good experience

A good experience when you visit Brighton, gives you a good view of the whole place. They also serves a good selection of cocktails which you can enjoy while watching the view or chilling at the beach bar.

High flying fun at i360

Smooth service, fun experience. West beach bar/cafe enjoyable too. Travelled up in day and night time. Best on a clear day.

Amazing experience!

An absolutely awesome experience!. Fantastic views over Brighton and the south coast with good service and commentary. A definite must when visiting Brighton.

Absolutely amazing crew were so polite and kind

Litrily had the best afternoon tea I've had in ages last week on the nyetimber bus so for £47.00 you get beautiful views of the old burnt down peir and the new one a free glass of sparkling wine and beautiful afternoon tea was literally the best and the crew were so friendly polite and kind looked after us very well and you get treated like you a British Airways business class passenger so if your ever in Brighton and the bus is there get yourself an afternoon tea booked on the nytimber route master cause ya won't forget it

About £1 per minute per person

£17 pp so about £1 per minute. Choose an evening sunset time and perhaps it would be worth it. Not sure though.

Loved it

Really enjoyed this whole experience. Was it value for money? Debatable. Was it spectacular? Yes. Was the champagne lovely? Yes. Just make sure it's a clear day!

Expensive and Disappointing

Better customer service needed. Not offered the expensive glass of champagne until descending. Commentary muffled. However, enjoyed this part of the experience. Afternoon tea - it was disgusting! Sliders are apparently little burger buns - they served them with pulled beef in gravy or Tofu - both ugly and not to our taste. We asked if they did sandwiches and they did not. The scones and cakes were lovely but this whole experience was expensive and not worth the money. So disappointing as this was a rare Mother and Daughter get-together.

Great to do but disappointing customer service

Myself and my daughter enjoyed this activity it's definitely worth doing, it was a lovely sunny day and the views were spectacular. Things unfortunately that we found disappointing we're the attitude of some of the staff, we found the person who should gave done a meet and greet was not friendly and welcoming and the bar staff didn't seem to understand that we had booked the flight with sparkling wine which we did through booking. Com If you are going in this trip I would suggest you get there a bit early and there are toilets at the bottom as asking the staff you get a sarcastic response

5 ⭐️ experience!

A really “feel good” experience. I was wowed by the professional and friendly staff (particularly Claire and Fran), by the design concept and engineering which was only surpassed by the truly spectacular views. Thank you for a wonderful “flight” and fizz. I’d totally recommend this as a “must do” activity.

Birthday celebrations on the 360i

We travelled on the i360 flight as part of a birthday celebration and we had an amazing time - Lynn who checked us through security was helpful and efficient and Aimee with her talk on the flight and her general friendliness - she was a breath of fresh air and we enjoyed every minute of our visit to the i360.

An amazing thing to do, we went for a friends 50th birthday and had sparkling wine whilst going up, very nice and the views were amazing and the staff were so friendly Highly recommend

polite/professional service

Due to a temporary tower breakdown on Sunday we had to wait a while for our time slot to be rebooked. I would like to thank everyone for making this an enjoyable occasion and especially Gianfranco for his polite professional manner in re arranging the many booking times. The security was fantastic, making us feel safe and looked after. A memorable trip and well worth a visit - thanks guys

Amazing experience

Taking off was absolutely brilliant, I throughly enjoyed it and highly recommended . Shame it couldn’t last longer . Had a cheeky cocktail onboard .

Nice experience!

We really enjoyed the flight, it was actually even better than we were expecting, and the sparkling wine was really good too! It would be better if the flight was a little bit longer though - we had to gulp down the rest of our glass of wine!! The views are great - I saw some reviews moaning about reflective glass - not sure what they expected really?! I actually liked my photos with a slight reflectiveness in them! There are also nice views of the West Pier from slightly higher up while you're waiting to get on - would be a bit annoying having to wait around if its raining though as there was no undercover bit.

Perfect service

Had a really good experience from booking through to the flight! As we were a group of 10 booked directly with the team who were extremely helpful, couldn’t have asked for more assistance, particularly from Sam who also liaised with west beach bar & kitchen with our lunch booking ! All went well on the day, including the weather giving us nice clear views on the flight! Everyone was very friendly & informative ! So a good time had by us all - Nyetimber was a perfect accompaniment to our experience 🥂

Company will short you the promised experience just to save a few bucks

Knowing the sunset was to set at 6:03pm, we purchased the 6pm tickets. At 6:05 the viewing tower was still up in the air from the 5:30 ride. Shortly thereafter, an agent told us they would be combining the 6pm and 6:30 rides. They apologized but said the duration would be extended. At 6:25 we went up. At 6:45pm we came down. So not only did they pull a dirty trick of making us wait so they could combine two time slots - without letting us know in advance - they then shortened the ride. All we got was a "thanks for your patience." I don't want to be thanked, I want to be reimbursed for what ended up being an incredibly frustrating experience. At the least, I want replacement tickets to try again. This was supposed to be a perfect start to celebrating my boyfriend's birthday week, and instead it left us a bitter taste in our mouths about having our experience shafted so a corporation could save a few bucks.

Great views - really happy occasion!

Had a great time in the i360 - came across it whilst visiting Brighton, which was a bit of a surprise as we didn't know it existed! We went up at dusk, which is a great time to do it as Brighton was just starting to 'light up', and the sun setting was a really lovely experience. For us, the visibility was pretty good with reasonably clear skies, though there was a bit of haze out to sea. We also had a glass of English fizzy wine (well you have to don't you!) which made the trip go well - there were so many happy people as well taking photographs. Thanks to the group of girls who took some of us, hope your evening went well! All in all, a very enjoyable experience!

Don't like heights?

A little apprehensive as I really don't like heights but was convinced to go on during our 4 night break in sunny Brighton. Was well worth it, what an amazing experience and a big thank you to Roger for your great hospitality whilst on board, in fact all the team there were great, my fear of heights has been cured!!

Not so good for photos at night.

I was in Brighton when they first broke ground on this project so I was glad I could come back and take a “flight”. Boarding and check in was excellent. The flight itself was amazing and with the reduced numbers was easy to move around. Unfortunately there was only one member of staff at the bar so by the time you had queued to get your Dring I was almost at the top so missed the upward party. The view was astounding however this was the last flight of the day and as it was dark the on board lighting and TV screens made it difficult to properly see out and made taking photos almost impossible. This was made worse by the very clever curved glass but reflected the interior. Worth the trip but not at night if you want photos!!

It was a very nice experience, glass of sparkling wine in hand and a having a bird's eye view of the world under and around you in a futuristic vessel

Enjoyable & memorable experience seeing Brighton in all it’s glory.

My boyfriend booked this for the two of us to attend as part of our first holiday together in Brighton & this did not disappoint! Our flight was at 20:00pm which was perfect as we caught the height of sunset & it made the Brighton views even more amazing. The wine experience as an additional purchase (which was reasonably priced with a 10% Young Person discount) made the time up in the sky more romantic & memorable. The staff onboard were very friendly & accommodating when we asked for photos & on the whole, made us feel very welcome. Overall, this was a very unique & enjoyable experience which we will have the pleasure in visiting again!

A must do if you visit Brighton

A great attraction to visit, a little pricy but well worth it being a unique activity. Super views all round. A well managed site and efficiently run.

Ok, it’s not cheap, so you have to decide whether you’re ok with the price. If the ticket is too much given it’s around a half hour - just don’t do it. Walk up the pier, paddle in the sea. And, and with reference to some of the other reviews here and some interchanges I observed while waiting to enter, FOLLOW the instructions. Arrive in advance of, not AT, the time is your flight. So, it’s not for everyone. It is for me though. I loved it, as did the rest of my group (ages early teen - 70+). Exhilarating, fun, amazing views. Worth the price of entry and the Nyetimber was excellent - competitive with many champagnes.

I don't really do heights so I booked it to build my own confidence up and experience life at its fullest and The sparkling wine was an added plus making its a more Sophisticated classier approach to seeing the vase landscape Amazing its a must !

We met Pete exchanging our tickets who also then became the best host ever for the experience Once though the doors a mini bar greets you once you’ve had photos taken Sun was shining friendly buzz and more chatting with Pete not just first class cabin crew in the air on the ground too The view is of course fabulous the pod cleanness is spot on and even more friendly hosts in the pod make sure you say hi to Tim

Fantastic!

What a fantastic experience! The whole team at the i360 were superb, friendly and welcoming. The views of course, are spectacular and with an interesting and entertaining commentary provided by a real person! The staff really make every effort to make this a special experience, Aimee and Kelcy ( hope I’ve got your name right) in particular were great. We would highly recommend this experience…. Sunset!

We chose the sunset timings and didn’t regret it. Fantastic views, very professional staff! In the current climate they made it seem like you were boarding a flight! (I wish).

Best BA Flight …

Treated other half to the I360 flight with a lovely glass of Nyetimer. Very impressed bu all staff, BA trained, felt like you are off on a BA flight ! From security to exiting ! The experience was great, you don’t feel anything going up, fantastic views across Brighton and behond! Plenty of time allowed to take in everything. Definitely recommend even if you are local like us. Can’t wait to do a sunset/night flight.

Amazing views

Although I am scared of heights and I was very nervous I really enjoy this experience and I would definitely recommend this experience.

Once is enough, social distancing zero, mask wearing not enforced

This was a 70th birthday gift for my husband. What caused us some concern and disappointment was that although there was a clear notice that wearing of masks was a condition of entry to the flight deck, several people entered without a mask and were not challenged. The commentary is difficult to understand. £10 for a glass of sparkling wine is a little cheeky especially as it's served in plastic glasses, I ordered a can of sparkling water and got quite an incredulous look when I asked for a glass. Surely customers should not be expected to drink from cans, especially considering the current covid climate. A lot of people were walking around without a mask, again not challenged and disembarkation was a joke with zero social distancing being controlled by staff. However, the views and outline experience were well worth the visit but once done, it's done, not something we would repeat. The lady serving the sparking wine on arrival was lovely, attentive, friendly, worth a mention. Staff onboard not so much.

Worth doing

This was a really good experience and gives you a really good view of the area. There weren’t many people in when we went. Not sure if this is by design and they don’t let many people on or if it gets busier. But you could walk about easily and it was nice and cool despite the red hot day. Definitely worth doing.

It is a giant lift, not a trans-Atlantic flight, but meh! I love the showbiz involved

We were down visiting family and my girlfriend's cousin booked us on the "flight" up the Brighton tower or, as I like to call it, "The huge erection on Brighton beach with a big mushroom head when fully erected" . After reading conflicting reviews about it, I was initially ambiguous to the whole experience...but...BUT! Upon walking down the Brighton promenade, the tower looms mighty above the city. Brighton's beach front is its shining glory and the placement of the tower is perfect. So, we waited in the queue and the most joyous of guys greeted us (the guy that wears a badge saying he is exempt from wearing a mask, I forgot his name sorry) and his ridiculous exuberance got all of us excited for the ride. So, we advance through security (which is done like airport control)...and then we are in the waiting area, a top deck overlooking the beach and old pier There is a bar serving alcoholic drinks, which are reasonably priced compared to the immediate vicinity...I was expecting crazy prices but they are comparable. And so...we board the "flight" and the pod is like an oven...it was around 23C that day...they have air-con on but it blasts from the edges and the middle is like a sweatbox (I pity the guys serving on the bar, one of them was literally dripping in sweat). Anyway, I digress as usual, the pod ascends and the views are amazing...you can see so far AND, due to the curvature of the earth and all that, from the top you can just make out the coast of France.....the people below become ants and the world becomes very smalI...oh, and I couldn't see Brighton's football ground (but maybe it was the heat and over indulgence in the delicious English sparking wine Nyetimber (no idea how you pronounce it) which was as good as any sparkling wine from the north of France) So...I have waffled too much...but all I can say is "If you have ever thought that this was an overpriced pointless thing to do in Brighton" then I can definitely advise that, as a one-off, this is something that MUST be done. 'Twas my first time in Brighton and I saw so much....well worth the money...give it a go guys...forget about the cost, just enjoy the experience...

fun in the sun

fantastic experience! felt like we were going on a flight....passed security, got a lovely chilled glass of bubbly, delicious! very well organised. smooth ride, didn't notice take off! actually quite spacious inside the capsule (for any claustraphobes), and there's a bar in case you need a top up ;) and seats on the inside, but we spent the whole time enjoying the amazing panorama - and spotted the local buildings with the painted roofs for us to see :) and so lucky with the weather: we could have been looking out over the carribbean, the sea was an incredible blue colour. the staff were all really helpful and friendly and all in all it was a great fun,a must do activity if you come to brighton.

Sunny views

I was lucky enough to take a flight on a spectacularly sunny day and the whole experience was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and efficient both at check in and at the bar. I have lived in Brighton for 30 years and it was great to see our fantastic city from another viewpoint. If you haven’t tried it yet, do it!

What a fantastic experience! I went with 5 other girls and opted for the sparkling wine choice and it was delicious. The staff were so friendly and accommodating I can't thank them enough. Highly recommend it's a must! Thank you so much x
