We loved this tour! We gathered friends and family to spend some time together walking this tour and enjoying pizza. Our tour guide was entertaining and informative. The pizza was delicious! We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Fun, informative, tasty

Even the chilly weather couldn’t dampen our fun on the Pizza tour. Scotty was knowledgeable and entertaining. Pizza was good and the canolli was delicious! It was a great way to learn about the north end community and various stops on the Freedom Trail.

Fun and informative - plus you won’t leave hungry!

Fun and informative tour around the North End of Boston. Make sure you are hungry as the pizza slices are generous! Scotty, born and raised in the area, was an excellent guide who sprinkled his tour with humor and fun facts as well as the general history of the area.

Great Tour Run by Locals

Scotty was great! Very knowledgeable of all things interesting about Boston. Great pizza of course! We went to three different places for pizza and got cannoli for dessert. Bring your appetite. Walk was pretty easy and we sat down at the restaurants when we got pizza. Choose this tour! Local small business run by local folks.

Halloween Boston 2024

Big Al was a great guide with a lot of information about the city history going all the way back to before the revolutionary war. He was also knowledgeable about the current city’s food scene & places to visit. The pizza choices he made were on point & the personal conversations he had with each guest made it an enjoyable time that we wish we could have extended past the allotted time. If we are ever back in Boston, we’d do the tour again. Thanks Big Al!!!!

We had a great time on our pizza and history tour! Our tour guide Scotty did an amazing job telling the history of the north end. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys learning about American history. The pizza is a nice bonus as well!

Great food, great history by a great guide

Alex did a wonderful job explaining the history of our country from a Boston perspective. I learned a lot and I thought I already knew a lot. The food was fantastic too. We had so much food left over, we made two more meals out of it.

Fabulous tour

This was a fabulous tour with "Big Al." He was very friendly, knowledgeable, & quite funny/entertaining 😄. The pizza was amazing & the cannoli was delicious! Highly recommend this tour! My 2nd time on this tour!

What an informative tour!!! Scotty was knowledgeable and charming — what a great sense of humor he had! Of course the food was excellent— literally the best cannoli I have had in years!

My son (13) loved the pizzas and the history lessons! His two favorite things. I loved the cannolis at the end! Soooo good. Save room!

Big Al was a great tour guide, the pizza was excellent & we got to try places that were off the beaten path. We brought umbrellas & ended up needing them, the tour is rain or shine & it can get a little chilly in September.

Great tour, great guide, great pizza!

Margo was a fabulous guide! Very knowledgeable and engaging. We started at Modern Pastry with some pizza, pepperoni and/or cheese - very good. Walked around Paul Revere’s house and his wife Rachel’s park. Next stop was the original Regina Pizzeria. Incredibly good pizza, a little burnt. Toured through North Church, Copps Burying Ground on our way to Ernesto’s Pizza. Very good pizza. Margo was great, interacting with everyone on the tour. We came full circle to Modern Pastry for an AMAZING Cannoli that we ate while sitting in Rachel Revere’s park. Would do again!

Interesting tour, great walk around Little Italy

The guide was very knowledgeable and we had wonderful weather on our tour. We got to see many wonderful historic sites.

What a great tour! Come hungry. Martin was our tour guide, and besides getting ample great pizza, he gave a great historical tour of the North End of Boston. A fabulous tour if you like Pizza, walking and lite history!

Alvin is a 10/10 as a person and guide..so likeable, so knowledgeable, so fun and friendly. We enjoyed that he put his own spin on the tour. Pizza was awesome! Arrive on an empty stomach! Would recommend 100% no question! We really enjoyed our tour and Alvin was one of the best guides we've had!!

Great pizza tour with Scotty

Scotty was our tour guide. He was super knowledgeable about Boston history and made the entire trip fun and enjoyable. We went on other Boston tours which were great, but this was our number one favorite. Delicious pizza, and cannolis!

We had an excellent, knowledgeable tour guide. There really wasn't one single thing the stuck out. It was overall a fabulous tour with some great pizza and don't get started on the cannoli. It was incredible.

Boston 2024

Our tour guide Big Al was great. We learned a lot about the North End while walking to the different pizza stops. The pizza was amazing and the cannoli was yummy.

Very good pizza!

This was an enjoyable and tasty way to enjoy a tour of the North End. The 3 pizzas we tasted were delicious, and Martin did a good job of explaining North End and colonial history. I would like to have learned a little more about the pizza at each stop. I'm a foodie, and learning about ingredients, flavor profiles, and styles would have added another interesting element to the tour and tied it all together.

Best tour ever!!!

Martin was an amazing tour guide. The piazza was amazing, the cannolis were delicious. So knowledgeable and hilarious. It was a 2 hour history lesson full of laughs and great company. If you are looking for a great tour i highly suggest this one or one of martins other tours. Me and m boyfriend took his recommendations and got the best coffee at this coffee shop. The whole day was just amazing. Ev en jet lagged and tired we still very much enjoyed ourselves.

Must do experience

Amazing guide and beyond awesome pizza. Got the feeling that other tour groups were jealous of us when we were eating pizza next to the statue of Paul Revere or when our guide was acting out the battle of Bunker Hill. Must do tour if you’re in Boston.

Entertaining and delicious

Great small group tour with Al as our guide! He gave us an entertaining oration of local history as well as referrals for other things to do while in Boston.

Excellent tour!

We did this tour 9-28-24 and it was wonderful! So much history and so much pizza (I could not finish all of it) and a cannoli at the end (we brought ours back to the hotel for breakfast tomorrow). Big Al was an amazing guide and as he said, a “history nerd”—you can tell he enjoys his job! Most of the history was about Paul Revere and very interesting. Also walked to a point where we could see Charlestown, the USS Constitution, and the Bunker Hill Monument. It was an excellent way to spend part of a day in Boston. Definitely recommend!

Great tour!

Al was great! Such a kind soul and kept us entertained. He took us to several historical locations in Boston and pointed out important places along the way. It was a beautiful walk with great pizza.

Great Pizza in the North End

Great experience. We have taken lots of food tours across the U.S. (and the city of Boston), this is one of our favorites. Three great stops and the slices at each were different from each other, but all good. Our tour guide (Big Al) was really, really good. Very enjoyable time.

Best pizza plus a slice of Boston history.

In addition to sampling some of the best pizza in Boston's North End we followed part of the Freedom Trail and learned a lot about prelude events leading to Revolutionary War plus Boston history and culture.
