Memorable Food!

Great time, good food, great guide. Pizza and the coffee ice cream were my favorite. If I didn't get so full, I would have ordered an additional pepperoni slice. I wish I got one to go home in retrospect!

Fabulously Full!

Matt was our guide. He is just fabulous! Very knowledgeable about Delray and all the wonder people who fed us! The food was spectacular. I for one will go back to each and every restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful day Matt!

Great food in Delray

I really wanted to rate this tour higher, but there were a couple things that I feel could have been improved. The food and drinks were excellent. I couldn't even pick a favorite. There was a lot of food, and it was all delicious. The on-line description says the tour is three hours. Ours finished early, approximately two hours and ten minutes. I feel that with this amount of food and drink, we should have spread it out to use the full three hours. It felt a bit rushed and at times I felt hurried. It was difficult to eat that much in two hours, so I think if we had spent an extra ten minutes at each location it would have been more enjoyable. Also, it would have been helpful to have somewhere to sit at the pizza shop. It was a bit much to stand on the sidewalk and eat a large pizza portion. Finally, we would have enjoyed having more history of the area. The guide was lovely and very friendly, but could have educated us further on the history or uniqueness of Delray.

Enjoyable afternoon

Julie was the perfect tour guide. All of the stops were fantastic!! I would highly recommend the afternoon tour.

Great Delray experience

Our guide, Anthony, was a great host. He took us to places that were off the beaten path, none of which we had been to before - even after many visits to Delray. There were no stops nor food nor drink tastings that we didn’t like. We would highly recommend this tour to both new and seasoned Delray visitors.

Fab Craft Food Tour!!!

Anthony was a great tour guide. The food & drinks were fantastic!!! We had brisket quesadilla , margaritas, Chinese street food , fabulous wings: pizza/ beer/ espresso& more!And had so much fun !

A MUST TO DO IN DELRAY

We were given a gift certificate to Delray Beach Craft Food Tours from family when we moved to FL. Best gift ever!! Anthony was our guide and we were not disappointed! Excellent food and drinks from the HIDDEN GEMS of Delray. Definitely booking the dinner tour and checking out the others near by. We are hooked!!

Great Day in Del Ray

Matt was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. The places he picked for us to go were a little off the beaten track and varied, and the food at each place was fantastic. I can’t wait to bring my husband on this tour the next time we are in the area.

Highly Recommend - Exceeded Expectations

I was super excited to try out Craft Food Tours. We had our company retreat in Delray Beach this year and offered a private food walking tour as an activity. Living in Delray Beach for the past 8 years, I wasn't quite sure what to expect and I have to say, I was blown away. Our team had a blast, the food spots were amazing, and our guide was nice, informative and appropriate. Great tour! Highly recommend.

Best food tour I’ve been on

We had a great time on this tour. The food was amazing. We had a brisket quesadilla and margarita, risotto balls and chicken wings and a beer, Detroit style pizza, ice cream with espresso and jian bing (may be misspelling that). Definitely hot as to be expected, park on the street if possible as it’s a lot cheaper than the lots. Anthony gave us a great time and will do their other tour in Fort Lauderdale soon.

What fun!

What fun! Julie was a great guide. We live in Delray and were excited to find delicious food off the beaten path. Just the right amount of food and drinks. Pace was perfect and Julie’s stories kept us entertained.

Great Time!!!

We really enjoyed our 3 hour tour of Delray! Everyone sees the sights on Atlantic Ave. It was so nice to find some hidden jems! Being a new Floridian to the area it was nice to see some great spots we will visit again for sure! Julie was an amazing guide who really engaged with everyone in the tour. There was only six of us so it was felt we got even more attention. If you are looking for something new and refreshing to do in Delray, I highly recommend Craft Food Tours. Fabulous food and fun

This was so much fun! Three of my friends and I went on a tour this weekend and it was just so well done. I enjoyed going to places that I probably would have never known about, loved walking in between stops and I can't say enough good things about Anthony. He was full of fun information about Delray and the restaurants we visited and is an all around fun guy. Very considerate when it came to dietary restrictions. I also loved when we arrived at the restaurants, the food came out right away. I am going to pass this on - great gift idea too.

A fun and delicious tour

What a great way to spend an afternoon exploring Delray Beach. We had fabulous food and drink at 5 different local establishments. Goodies of Delray was a great surprise with delicious asian street food. Loved meeting Coby Wexler, chef/owner of Death by Pizza. What a delicious slice of Detroit style pie!! Our guide was Craft Food Tour owner, Anthony and he was great at speaking about the history of the area and the individual restaurants we visited. He was quite knowledgeable. Delray has a lot to offer and we'll be back to try it all again!

Great way to try out new places.

We had the best time ever and I'm looking forward to going again. Anthony, our tour guide was wonderful and really took care of us. We went to 6 restaurants that I had never been to before and now I will be going back to each of them. There was plenty of food and drinks and I would recommend this tour to anyone. Loved it.

Great value and worthwhile tour - even and especially for locals

We had a great tour of Del Ray - even as locals, we learned about a ton of new places in town that we will definitely go back to. Andrew was a great host and guide - super friendly and accommodating. This tour was well worth it from a value perspective as well. We had 2 alcoholic drinks, a ton of food at el camino (really enough for a normal lunch!), pizza, and more. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or local to get some new places for the restaurant rotation and to learn more about the town. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Delectable Del Ray

I recently participated in the Del Ray craft food tour along with my wife, sister, brother-in-law, niece and her boyfriend while we were visiting them in Florida. while we anticipated a fun afternoon, the tour far exceeded our expectations. Julie (another northeast Ohioan) was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the history of Del Ray, which by the way, is a wonderful destination for a foodie. And it is exceptionally clean. Each of the food stops offered delectable treats. Many of them being off the beaten path which we never would have explored otherwise. From Mexican quesadillas and margaritas, to an Asian wrap, unusual beers with wings, the best pizza we ever had, and finally a coffee shop. All were delicious and we had ample time to enjoy each stop. And they accommodated my sister's and wife's food allergies without a fuss. highly recommend this tour. We will definetly do it again. Thank you Julie!!!

Off the Beaten Path with Christina!

We took this Food Tour recently and so glad we did. Christina was a wonderful hostess and educated our Group on all the stops along the way. We visited 5 different locations and ambled our way along, behind and beside Atlantic Avenue at a really nice pace. We really enjoyed getting off The Avenue to discover some of those hidden gems that we normally wouldn’t have found on our own. We absolutely loved El Camino as the first stop and also Death by Pizza - just delicious! Note: our Tour was booked for 11am and it actually didn’t start until 11:30am so there was 30 minutes of waiting around with several other couples who also had paperwork stating an 11am start time - a bit irritating and unnecessary. Several other Tour attendees has 11:30am on their paperwork so the Company needs to clarify on their website to avoid confusion. Overall it was a fun Tour and something we would recommend. I will add that the food was a good amount: one small quesadilla triangle and margarita, a nice size Asian crepe, risotto balls and beer of your choice, a rectangle slice of pizza and then a coffee ice cream to wrap up. One recommended change - have an alternate for the coffee ice cream as some in our Group were not coffee drinkers so there was just plain vanilla ice cream with no other options. Always an interesting way to spend a couple hours learning about a new area and also a wonderful way to support local small businesses. Go do it! 😀

DelRay Delicious!

We loved every minute of this food tour…. 5 different stops and never did it feel rushed. If you went to all these places on your own on a busy Saturday, you’d probably spend as much time waiting for a table as our entire tour took! Every spot was different, and we were so full and content we can’t wait to come back and do it again! Matt our guide was super friendly, educated us on the history of the area and the restaurants we were visiting, and had most of the restaurants give us a one on one demonstration of their offerings. Go!

Great Food- comfortably full

I would highly recommend the Craft Food tour in Delray Beach. We met 2 other couples, friends we have not seen for a while and decided to take the food tour. We had plenty of time to catch up, and enjoy the food along the way. This was my fifth food tour, and I would rate the Craft tour as one of the better ones. We ended our tour comfortably full. Christina was a great tour guide. There was some confusion on the time of the tour due to booking through Trip advisor, but was rectified by Craft the morning of the tour.

We had a great time with Christine on this tour. The tour was very well organized, easily adjusting to two vegetarians in our group. We found all of the food was delicious. We especially liked getting to hear the back stories from the owner of Deke’s coffee and the owner of Death by Pizza. The afternoon was leisurely, informative and yummy.

Make this tour on the top of your list while in Delray! Matt is an outgoing, passionate and knowledgeable guide. We met amazing people and sampled delicious foods and drinks.

Lovely food, drinks and an entertaining evening all in one package

We had such a wonderful time on the Delray Beach Happy Hour Tour! there were twelve of us on a Thursday night. We took an Uber to the meeting location for the walk, but there was a parking garage within sight of where we met. The four places we visited were extremely good and smaller spots that as a casual tourist you might miss. We had several delicious items to eat at each location and one signature drink. One person was unable to have gluten, another was unable to have alcohol, but both were accomadated with no feeling of missing out on the experience. Highly recommend. We had perfect weather and stayed outside at most locations, but it was clear that if it was a bit rainy or cold this tour would still work just fine, since every spot had inside seating and the walk between each place was minimal.

My first Food Tour

It was our first Food Tour ever. Great experience, Highly recommend! We stopped at 5 food places, and our whole group was "stuffed" by the end. At each food stop we got a little education about the establishment, food, or both. My family of 4 (ages 54, 52, 24, 21 years) really enjoyed it, and would definitely take the tour again, if it consists of 5 different food stops, making it a new experience. Two things I would improve on: 1. One stop was a brewery, but no one in my family likes beer. Better experience if we could customize our tour a bit(even willing to pay extra to do so). 2. Bring cash to tip the Tour guide. I recommend the tip to be $10+ per person. I wanted to give $50 tip but did not have enough cash with me.

Food was excellent so is the company enjoyed it very much.

We had a great time on this food tour all the restaurants and stores we visited were great the tour guides were excellent. We enjoyed everything from the quesadillas to the desserts at a Japanese restaurant and of course the sparkling sake was great. We also met some very interesting people who were along on the tour with us trying to convince us to move to Florida from California love Florida but it’s not gonna happen

Amazing and fun!

This was my third, yes third, time taking this tour. Each time there is an added nuance to the places we visit. Matt, Anthony, and Julie could not have been better hosts. They are full of local knowledge and the stories along the way made the experience even better. The get-to-know-you part and the introduction sets the tone for the entire day. The stops were amazing. The food was so well prepared and presented. It's just a great amuse-bouche that made me want to come back for more of those delicious restaurant partners. This being my third time, I knew most of what we were going to experience but this time I brought my 17-year-old and my brother who is visiting from Canada. I felt such joy sharing this experience with them and when my sister-in-law visits this spring, we are going again! Thank you to the Delray Craft Food Tour for the wonderful experiences and for the opportunity to show my family the awesomeness that Delray Beach has to offer.

Good Eats

I enjoyed each place we went on the walking tour of Delray Beach. A combination of Mom and Pop restaurants and hidden gems, with a little behind the scenes peek into each place. Just the right amount of walking, and a I was full by the end. The places I discovered because of the tour, I plan to visit again.

All of it was fun. There is a garage to park in. We did not know that and spent $50 in parking. Hopefully they will let you know where to park. Other than that it was great!

One of a kind tour - Must do for all foodies!

Very unique experience! Well worth it in every regard. I would not have been exposed to some truly great restaurants and new food experiences without a tour like this. Every part of the tour was well thought out and quite enjoyable. I was just blown away with the visit to Deek's Coffee. So cool. I Highly recommend this tour. It's one of a kind!

Great Food Tour Rain or Rain!

Weather in Ft. Lauderdale is unpredictable but in spite of that, our guide made us all have a fun time. The food, cocktails were generous and no one left hungry. The restaurants had a great vibe and were welcoming to our group.

Great way to experience the truly great places!

Great experience with Matt this past Friday! I’ve been coming to Delray for more than 20 years, and I thought I had found the great restaurants. I was wrong! Best places I’ve ever been to were introduced to me by this tour. Definitely recommend and will be looking into the Fort Lauderdale tour next time I’m in the area!

Super Sunday!

We had such an enjoyable experience with Christine. We were a small group which made it much more intimate and fun with getting to know the other couple. Christine was adorable, very enthusiastic! The food choices were delish! Probably the brisket quesadilla was my fav along with the best margarita ever!!! The Chinese "hole in the wall mom and pop" place was also an unexpected surprise. It was delicious. The specialty coffee place was particularly great bc of the owner was so proud of his business, such a young and accomplished entrepreneur. Hats off to him. Everything added up to a very pleasant afternoon. I have been on several food tours, and this ranked up there with being a favorite. I am a local. I guess if I had one suggestion, I would like to have had more history of Delray. It is an area very rich in history and interesting stories....our sister city is ??? I always like to learn about the area I'm in even though it's by backyard. Definitely a must do for locals and visitors!!

Nice way to spend a few hours

Anthony was a great host/tour guide. We were also lucky enough to have an amazing group of people that day. We love doing these food & cocktail tours in new cities. I will add on this tour you get ample amount of food some tours provide only a bite. Everything was tasty (my wife is picky) and diverse offerings. Fun afternoon.
