Perfect tour in Berlin!

Our driver Thomas and tour guide Johana were the best. Johana has an amazing knowledge of Berlin’s history. Best tour we have ever had in any city. Highly recommend!!

Berlin bus trip excellent!

Although there was a lot of walking for someone with mobility issues, it was very interesting. Our guide Matt was so personable and informative. I do wish he had used a microphone as I was usually in the back of group due to slow walking with rollator. Was hard to hear him. The driver was excellent and got us back in plenty of time for all aboard at 9:30 pm...and safely!

A very full day but extremely well managed by the Tour operator

We visited all the main historic sites and received valuable onsite from our Tour guide Matt. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and provided us with some detailed outlines of historic events that impacted each area we visited. We were picked up at the Cruise Terminal on time at 7.30am and arrived back at 8pm, well before Onboard time of 9.30pm. Our biggest fear booking this long day tour to see Berlin was making sure that an independent tour operator would get us back in time . The Viator/ Experio team were very experienced and well organised . Our bus driver Uli, kept us safe and got us through some heavy traffic delays we left the City. A long but wonderful day. There is the Berlin Wall.

Campbell did a fantastic job. He really went all out his his history, stories and photos. He seemed a little rushed and we didn’t really have time for questions. He gave us some free time but didn’t really explain to us where we were. He also forgot his umbrella and seemed a little miffed when people couldn’t find him.

Highly Recommend this excursion to Berlin.

It's a long bus ride from the port, but our guide made it fun and informative. We stopped for bathroom breaks. The tour of Berlin was very interesting. I feel like we had a good overview considering we only had one day there. Highly recommend.

Seeing all the sights and the whole trip was very informative and they looked after us from the port and back to the ship on time.

Excellent Berlin trip

What a great time with Matt in Berlin. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge of Berlin’s history and gave good insights of Germany during World War II and the aftermath. Loved seeing what was left of the Berlin Wall and checkpoint Charlie.

Great day in Berlin

We had a great day exploring Berlin with our tour guide Scott. The tour left promptly at 730. The tour was a good mix of walking a breaks on the bus. We saw most of the major sites of Berlin and learned a great deal of history. I would highly recommend this tout.

Wonderful tour

Our guide Scott was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, entertaining, and aware of the needs of the group. He provided unique insights and was clearly well informed. His artistic perspective provided an illuminating view of this historical tour.

Great tour, highly recommend!

The tour was great, our tour guide, Matt, was very knowledgeable and humorous. The only negative was the flat tire on the bus on the way back to Rostock port. We waited over an hour for replacement bus and just made it back to ship in time. The tour company was very concerned. Nd kept in touch with us throughout the ordeal and even gave us a partial refund. Highly recommend!

Nice tour

There was frequent communication before excursion. Pick up at cruise port was on time and easy. Driver was very aware of timing to ensure we got back to ship ontime. Tiego are guide was wonderful. He was very informative and kept us on schedule. This was a great tour to pack in a lot of Berlin history.

Great tour!

Tour was great. Very knowledgeable just talked a little bit too much. On the way back we experienced a flat tire getting us back to ship late but they waited for the 39 passengers onboard.

Excellent Guide Excellent Itinerary Excellent All Around

July 12, 2024 Perfect Berlin Shore Tour - The tour guide was phenomenal she was very informative, knowledgeable, pleasant, she gave us information/history on every inch of Berlin. She made sure we had bathroom breaks, she made sure we got to see everything that was promised on the itinerary. The bus was very comfortable and made sure we got safely back/forth to the cruise port. I highly recommend this tour, but specifically this guide because she was excellent, I wish I can give her 10 starts not 5.

This was the best tour I’ve had in a while. Jonathan was very k knowledgable and put a little comedy in with his tour. Driver was great. Would highly recommend !!!!

It was a great way to spend the day in Berlin especially if you are coming from a cruise. Matt was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Ryan was an amazing guide and Ule was a very good bus driver! Ryan was very knowledgable and made the most of all the time available. Overall a great day, wish we had more time.

Fabulous tour

Anne, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable of Germany's history. She was able to convey this information in an interesting, easy-to-understand way. We were all impressed with the way she told the story of the country.

Great City to Visit!

With a group of 6, this was a wonderful way to see Berlin when coming in from the cruise port. It ended up being cheaper than if we had scheduled a bus trip with the cruise. Communication prior to the trip was great. The driver was there on-time and ready to go for the 2 1/2 hour drive into Berlin. Our guide, Benjamin, was also very good. He told us a lot of interesting history about the sights we were seeing, and even though there were a lot of unexpected events happening in the city the day of our tour, we were able to see a lot and get back to the ship on-time. I would highly recommend this trip!

A historical city that should not be missed!

We opted for this tour instead of the cruise's outrageously expensive tour, and we were very pleased we made this decision! The tour bus picked us up as soon as we got off the ship. The coach bus was clean with plenty of space and we stopped halfway at a gas station for a chance to use the bathrooms. When we arrived in Berlin, we had our private tour in a van with Walid who worked So Hard to show us as much as he possibly could in the time allotted. The weather did not cooperate as it rained that day, but Walid made sure we had our raincoats, he helped us find a specific food for lunch that we wanted to try (Döner Kebab), and stayed very patient and upbeat even when we hit unexpected traffic. He was extremely knowledgeable and we learned an extraordinary amount about Berlin. He delivered us on time back to the coach bus, and we arrived back to the cruise port in plenty of time. Berlin is a big and busy city; this was definitely the best way to see as much as we could in one day and Walid was excellent.

Seeing the icons of Berlin led by Daniel who has an extensive knowledge of the history of this remarkable city. A long unavoidable drive from the port to the city it well worth the long day.

What a lovely trip from the ship Sky Princess it was seamless from booking in UK to picking us up in Warnemunde to Berlin it was a long drive Our guide Anne was excellent and Olaf our driver was very entertaining. Anne was probably one of the best guides that we have had. She gave history from an East German perspective and as a young Federalist German. She really made this trip worthwhile with the smooth driving of Olaf. Well worth the money and compared to the price charged by the cruise company it was a bargain.

To Berlin and Back.

So enjoyed having a guide who grew up in East Germany. She knew Berlin like the back of her hand. So full of info during the walking tour and the riding portion of the tour. Great tour. Long ride to and from Berlin but worth it.

Great tour but….

Overall good tour but just be prepared if coming off a cruise to spend 6 hours on a bus. There is no WiFi or charging so bring your own entertainment and charging abilities for your phone. The tour was good with a great guide but it was very rushed at each stop. The half way stop on the return was for restrooms only but it would have been nice to have a stop that offered refreshments.

Not enough time actually visiting attractions

It was a 12 hour tour. We were back in 11 hours. The bus was 6 hours in travel time no problem. But after that we were off the bus for a 40 minute lunch, 15 minute bathroom break and maybe another 30minutes in walking around. Basically a bus ride. Would not recommend this to anyone.

A Good Survey of Berlin.

Preston was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide. This is a very quick "survey" of the sites in Berlin. You'll see the major high points, but you will have very little time to digest them. For a cruise ship thats 2.5 hours from the city and you only have one day in port, it is perfect.

Long ride from the cruise port but driver was excellent. The tour itself was informative, Preston was very knowledgeable just wish there was more time for lunch and to buy souvenirs. But saw lots and would recommend.

Excellent guide in Berlin

Matt was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide. Pickup at dock in Warnemunde was on time outside terminal building. Bus ride was smooth. Saw quite a bit in 6 hours.

Absolutely fantastic excursion - make sure to ask for Ryan

I have to say that of all the excursions we took that week this was by far the best. Not sure if you can request a specific guide but if so, make sure you ask for Ryan. He was so knowledgable about all things Germany and took us on a journey thru history that was very engaging, fun and informative. My only complaint was that things felt rushed at times but there is not a lot they can go about it if you want to see everything. You will not be disappointed, fantastic Country and a phenomenal tour!!! Thanks Ryan, you were the best!!!

Far exceeded our...

Far exceeded our expectations - Berlin is a fantastic city with so much history. One day was simply not enough to explore Berlin!

We were impressed with our tour guide, Matt Robinson. He was very knowledgeable of Berlin & it’s history & was a pleasant/nice guy! I would have preferred it to be a bit longer than 5 hours though.

To Berlin from Cruise Ship

The bus ride was very comfortable. I enjoyed our very knowledgeable guide and getting us to all the stops even though we got a late start because of the cruise ship being late. So happy I got to see Berlin and all the historic landmarks I’ve read about!

Absolutely the BEST

Boris made this trip extrodinary..he moved along at a great pace was so doggone likeable and made the history come alive!! couldn't believe how he put so much of the history in perspective. Learned way more than we anticipated. we would highly advise anyone going to Berlin to take this tour worth twice as much as we paid! There were children on this tour who flocked to be near him as he was so engaging! Thank you Boris

Berlin sightseeing with a walk through of the gay area

The tour guide Walid was excellent. I would rate him a 5-star. He was extremely knowledgeable about the city, friendly and funny. He provided a lot of history about the city of Berlin and the various number of monuments and sights he took us to. I only gave 4 stars for the overall tour for two reasons - (1) there was no WIFI on the bus as advertised as the modem was damaged by some kid the day before, and (2) I thought the walk to the gay bar for drinks was not necessary, could have used the time spent there for more sightseeing.

Great trip - yes, it’s a long journey from port to city but very comfi coach and worth it - guide Wali most informative, flexible and entertaining - Berlin has a rich history and many interesting landmarks - recommend

Boris, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. You could point at any building and it seemed he had something intetesting to share. He gave a multi- view description of the different sites without too much unnecessary information but highly relevant to time and place. Great grasp of history of the region. I would highly recommend Boris and the tour. Six hours flew by quickly.

Highly Recommend

We took this tour with Boris, who turned out to be the most enthusiastic, knowledgeable, personable, patient and all- around terrific guide. We were immersed in the beauty and culture and awe of this amazing city. We learned history unlike any taught in school and felt very lucky to be in his group.

Fantastic experience!

One of the best excursions we have ever experienced. Mostly because of Boris, our passionate and well informed guide. Add to that a great driver, Olof and a beautiful city - absolutely fantastic! As it is quite far from Warnemünde Port and therefore result in a long drive of 3 hours (times 2), it was still worth every cent and every minute. The lunch stop was great (not included in the price). Thank you all! It is a great deal.

Berlin stay too short

the trip is not as long as Viator claims "5-6 hrs in Berlin if there is no any traffic delay". Our trip had no any major traffic issue but still took over 4.5 hrs to get to Berlin and over 3.5 hrs back to cruise. We actually had only 3.5 hrs in Berlin which included 40 minutes lunch. I would say it can't be 5.5-6 hrs in Berlin under any circumstances.

our driver and tour guide Taylor provided us an amazing tour of Berlin , interesting places, HItler's history , death and place he killed himself. The tombs of Jews he killed , Berlin history, Berlin Wall , one stop Charlie , etc. he is a knowledgeable tour guide with expertise of Berlin considering he is from Australia. Great tour and we gained so much knowledge of Berlin history . Thanks

All in OneBerlin Shore Excursion with WIFI

Drive was great although its 2-3 hours driver drove safely in the rain. Once we got to Berlin experience was great. Learning all the things that happened during that time was an experience of a lifetime.
