All-in-One Berlin Shore Excursion from Warnemunde or Rostock Port

Good as ashore excursion option.

We came off a cruise ship and the meeting point was easy to find. We were concerned about timing and getting back, but we were back on board with plenty of time. The tour itself was very good and covering the vast history of Berlin, not to just the Wall and WWII, it was nice to understand and see it's long history. Our guide was very good and look after the group well. The walking section was at a good pace for everyone.

Shore excursion to Berlin from Norwegian cruise terminal . Awesome guide! Johnathan was knowledgeable and funny . Great driver! This was worth every penny ! Covered a lot of ground as there was a lot to see but also allowed us a little time for shopping !

All-in-One Berlin Shore Excursion - worth the price

The driver was great and made sure to stop for bathroom breaks. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our guide made sure to allot time for a quick lunch and shopping, however, the shopping mall was high end, so we did not find any of the usual souvenirs/mementos we shop for. We were able to pick up some keychains at a 5 min photo stop though.

First time here? This a great tour!

Wow! What an amazing day! The bus met us at the peir and drive us 3 hours in to Berlin. The driver stopped at a reststop/ convince store for a free bathroom stop and any snacks. We were met be our tour guide at the Sachsenhausen memorial for a very informative tour of the Concentration Camp and then on to city of Berlin which was a 45-minute bus ride. We could keep our non needed items on the bus because the driver always stayed with the bus. Great walks around the city with may opportunities to use free bathrooms. However, we did have one stop by our choice were it was a donation box to drop your .50euro coin in the box, not monitored by a person or electronically. Nick was a wonderful guide with a vast knowledge of historical information. He should create podcasts to share that amazing knowledge. The best tour of our entire vacation. The driver safely returned us to the cruise ship terminal after a 12 hour day. It wasn't as exhausting as we thought the long day might have been for the four of us in our little group among the larger full group.

To see history before your eyes is impactful.

We enjoyed being immersed in the history and seeing it up close.. the tour guide also had pictures from the war and how the area looked before/during/after the war. This also put things into perspective and showed the deviation and rebuilding! Daniel our guide was excellent informative and knowledgeable.

Excellent tour - History of Berlin in a Day!

The private Berlin Tour was excellent. The car came to the cruise port and drove us (5 adults) into Berlin to meet our tour guide. Mikhail our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable and took us to all the must see sights in Berlin. One of our family members is a big history buff and Mikhail definitely was able to answer and give in depth explanations to make this tour memorable. Then we wrapped up and the car drove us back to the cruise port ( 3 hours each way)

Summer - Viator All-in-One Berlin EXCELLENT tour guide

Summer is an excellent private tour guide!!! Being a transplant to Germany from California she was able to relate/translate many sites/historical events in comparison to US history/events. Summer shared a wealth of knowledge covering art, architecture, political/religious history as well as daily life in Germany. She also had a folder of pictures that she displayed to reflect the changes over time in the areas we visited as well as their geographical location to where we had already visited. Our party of 9 was very pleased with the extra stops Summer was able to take us to with a smaller group. She seamlessly coordinated the stops with our small bus driver as well as the big bus driver that took us back to the port. We all enjoyed spending the all-in-one Berlin day with Summer!! We give her 18 thumbs up!

Great experience

Excellent tour guide- very informative, funny and pleasant. Smooth bus drive and comfortable seats. Process of purchasing tickets and receiving information leading up to tour all very helpful

Horrible service.

Horrible service. I didn't see anything on this tour, just walking and walking....dark streets and trees. We didn't get inside any site! Neither, they provided audio headsets as it is stated in the description of the tour. They don't apologize for their mistakes and the guide behaviour was quite rude. You can take a freetour, 10€ donation as you will see everything. This tour is ripping off Americans , Australians as they don't know about these free tours. Avoid it!

Awesome Berlin

OMG OMG Walud was outstanding. Great speaker with outstanding knowledge of Berlin. All tour administration was flawless. Finally, Wolfgang our Driver did an awesome job in trying traffic conditions.

Very good tour for the length and money. Good bus ride. Good tour guide. A great way to see the highlights if you've never been to Berlin before.

This Tour Group Was Very Helpful!

While looked forward the tour to see Berlin, when we arrived at the first stop we came to realize that we had joined a tour would return to our cruise ship too late to board! The rest of the bus full of travelers were on another ship with a later departure. So I can't comment on how the tour was. What I speak favorably about is how the tour group immediately guided us as we found an alternative return to our ship. They even alerted our ship about our potential late return. A private taxi for our family of 5 expedited our return just in time for departure, and the tour compensated for the missed tour and return travel. We will be more careful about our booking in the future, but would trust this company to take care of us.

Great Trip with very Informative and Interesting Guide

This was a very informative and going by bus was much less stressful than by train. We booked this for half the price the ship was offering and got to do more than those from our cruise ship. Our tour guide was very educated on everything about Berlin. We got flicked off by some local but that’s ok. It was kind of funny. We were able some extra time to get some extra time to buy some souvenirs and arrived back to the ship faster than those on the train.

Best Berlin Tour Experience

This was an incredible tour. Our driver Tomas was in fabulous. Spoke perfect English. Was super safe and very knowledgable and personable. And our tour guide Nick was the best! He is Nat geo/history/travel channel worthy kind of tour guide. We saw so many places and was really great to see Berlin today versus 30 years ago when I was there last. It’s really a beautiful city. I highly recommend!

First time booking an independent

Our tour guide, Matt, was knowledgeable and entertaining. The bus picked us up from our ship and got us back in plenty of time for our departure. First time using an independent tour operator, will certainly do it again.

Berlin wall tour

Walid, our guide was very informative. I learned alot from him . There was a good balance of walking vs driving. Overwhelming amount of history. Appreciated the Eastern site of the Berlin wall!

The history of the Cold War and WW2 was really interesting. The tour guide, Matt, was excellent. Good value for the money. Really well organized.

Wonderful experience...

Wonderful experience although we were, at first, a little leery about booking a full day trip before returning to a cruise ship renown for leaving passengers behind. Couldn't say enough about our tour and the tour director who we were very lucky to have on the bus trip for the whole time. Got back in time. 10/10

Walid did a Marvelous Job

Walid from VEXPERIO did a superb job as our guide! The whole experience was perfect from beginning to end! The rep from VEXPERIO met our cruise ship exactly as described. We left on time. Toilet stops were well planned. Walid had a great sense of humor. The tour moved at a good pace and we covered all of the important sites. I am extremely pleased with the entire experience! I highly recommend this tour as an alternative to the higher priced shore excursion offered by the cruise ship.

A great tour of Berlin for cruisers!

We were on a cruise and came into the port at Warnemunde. The bus picked us up at the port and we made the three hour ride into Berlin. The tour was amazing and we saw all of the highlights of Berlin and more. Lunch was on our own at a shopping mall food court with a lot of choices. Our guide, Daniel, was very knowledgeable about the history of Berlin and shared historical photos of places we were. He did a great job of taking care of us and sharing a wonderful day in Berlin with us. The only thing I might change on this tour would be adding a few dollars to the price of the tour and having the guide pay for guests to use the restrooms, as we were on a cruise that went to several countries and we didn’t have coins to pay for toilets. They tell you upfront that you need to get money from an ATM, but we didn’t have an opportunity to do that until the mall at lunchtime. Kudos to a wonderful German woman who gave us a euro so we could use the restroom. I pray God richly blesses her for her kindness to strangers.

Berlin with Guide Daniel

Amazing tour due to an amazing guide, Daniel. Talk about knowing your history!!!! He was well prepared with several folders full of information. Seeing photos of the past right beside the current buildings or missing structures was vital to understanding what we were seeing. The way he explained things was thorough and understood with ease. The ride for the cruise port to Berlin was spent hearing about many things one would want to know while visiting a new area. Bus was comfortable and one stop was beneficial for stretching. Highly recommend this tour. We never felt we were in danger of not getting back in time!

A must do tour!

Great excursion! A must do! Air conditioned bus and a great informative guide we met up with. Much cheaper than cruise ship for same stops.

Not worth it

Our driver Kay (not sure of spelling) was pleasant and arrived on time. However, our tour guide, Gali Jaffe, looks irritated every time we stop and take photos, and often will say, “we can do that later, I will show you the best spots to take your photos”, but of course, that didn’t happen because we did not return to the same spot. I called her attention at the beginning because we were driving around and she will just mention the names of the buildings. I told her we need to stop because our group loves taking souvenir photos. She agreed. However, she would rushed us during stops because she said there’s a lot more places to see. We also felt that the tour which started at 10:30 am was cut short at 4:30 pm (with one hour break in between). For more than $2000 that our group of 6 pai this tour is not worth it.

Warnemunde to Berlin

Even though it was a 3 hour bus ride from the port to Berlin then back it was a worthwhile tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable in the history of Berlin during WW2 and the Cold War. We visited the holocaust memorial, check point charlie and what remained of the Berlin Wall separating East and West Berlin. The tour itself was approximately 5 hours and fairly fast paced making for a long day. I would highly recommend this tour, it was amazing.

Steeped in Berlin's Troubled Past

Passing by the site of the banned books burning, standing over what was hitler's bunker, and seeing the remnants of the Berlin wall allows one to personally experience the the reality of a shameful history that could easily be replicated in the USA. The placement of the halocaust memorial near hitler's bunker was unnerving to me, but necessarily poignant in that we must never forget! This tour is steeped in history. It was not the generic old time/modern day rundown one usually expects. It is a three hour trip into Berlin which should have included narration and/or music.

Amazing history coming to life

Awesome trip on a comfortable coach, very good driver. Takes right at 2.5 hrs with a potty break. If you don’t have euros, there’s an atm in the rest stop to pay the 1 euro fee to use the potty. The actual tour (Tobi) guide joined us in Berlin and he was amazing. He uses a speaker so all our group could hear him. Extremely knowledgeable about the city.

The tour guide Scott was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was interactive with the group, answering all questions that arose. Very responsible person, checking on group size on several occasions.

Great Tour!

This was such an amazing trip. Yes it is a long ride to Berlin, but our guide Ann made the trip. Ann was so knowledgeable and made sure we had enough time at each stop. We saw so many historical aspects of Berlin that day, it made us want to book a full trip to Germany. I am so glad I booked this tour and got to see so many things in one day.
