5* experience of a half day in Bergamo!

Wow! It was the first time I’ve used a self guided audio tour and I fell in love with the concept! You do it at your time and your own pace! Matteo chose places that are off the beaten track a bit(some of them) so you get to see gems you maybe wouldn’t have gone to yourself. I had 1 afternoon in Bergamo and I feel like I saw so much and I know I would never get to those rare spots myself. What’s more, you get a super helpful Live customer service experience-after activating the tour Matteo was in touch to recommend restaurants and cafes and again-I’d never been in more authentic , unique places if I was to design my day in Bergamo. The access to the tour was very easy and intuitive to navigate. You just need to make sure your phone is charged(it is mentioned in the tour description 😃) 5* experience even though it was a rainy day!😃 Grazie mille!

Great tour through Citta Alta

This tour took me to all the cool spots in the Citta Alta in Bergamo. The audio files are great as well (eg. clear voice and not too long, but also not too short). Furthermore, the guide (Matteo) is very friendly and accessible via WhatsApp.

An excellent walking experience through the old part of Bergamo with digital guidance from Matteo! I just loved it! The tour is conducted in a very professional and relaxed manner, with Google Maps guiding you from one stop to the next using voice, text, and photos of each place Matteo introduced us to. It was neither too long nor too short. A big plus is that we could do the sightseeing at our own pace, without being part of a large group.

Fantastic day in Bergamo

I was fantastic experience !! The audio guide is very good prepeted. We used a lot of recomendation - were we can eat, drink fantastic coffe or taste unbelieveble ice cream.

Last minute Digi-tour of Bergamo

Very useful tour, it gives you the main informations about the Città Alta of Bergamo, without overwhelming you with too much information, and it is very dynamic and easy to follow. I would surely recommend it.

Bergamo tour

After figuring out how to download it, it was decent tour or the area. My phone was losing power fast so I was a bit nervous that we would miss the end.

After another tour was cancelled on me And didn't know what to do I found this audio tour and it was very informative and gave great food recommendations.

Excellent guided tour in Bergamo Old Town

I had booked the tour but unfortunately Matteo was unable to attend because of other obligations out of town. Instead I got offered a link to a web page with audio and text in Italian, English and Spanish. We followed the itinerary for Città Alta and learned alot about this beautiful town. Thank you. Our kids says this was one of the highlights of our trip and it suited our family great to be able to listen in different languages since I wanted to practice my Italian. And I think he’s right! Of all the gelaterias we got to try Carmen was the best… and he had even fixed a discount through the guide. Ottimo! Grazie mille per tutto!

Absolutely worth it!!

We absolutely LOVED the digital guide with all its GREAT tips and detailed Infos about Bergamo! You can really tell this is done by a local, Matteo, who knows his way around and through the voice messages made it feel very personal. It was also cool to just pick the areas we were interested in and leave the rest for another day. You should give it a shot!! You will not regret it! Also his food insights ans suggestions were amazing!

Excellent digital guide.

I had some time to myself in Bergamo and wasn’t sure what to do. I looked into doing a walking tour and discovered this digital option. I’m so glad I did! What a brilliant idea! Just charge up your phone and pop in your earphones and you’re off! Integrated maps make finding each location easy, then at each place there is some narration to listen to, plus a photo and written explanation. I did a half day tour but could happily have done an even longer one. Highly recommended.

Money worth Digital Guide

This is the account of my great vacation to Bergamo. I had no plans when I came in Bergamo. In fact, I landed at 11 p.m. When I checked into my hotel, I began looking through some of the free walking tours available for the next day. I came across Matteo's website and signed up for a physical tour. Unfortunately, Matteo was unavailable to conduct the tour, so he advised I use the digital guide instead. I was initially hesitant because I had never used such services before, but I decided to trust my instincts and give it a shot. Matteo sent me the password to view the digital guide. It was incredibly convenient. All it need is a solid internet connection, a web browser, and a set of earphones or headphones. The guide was simple to follow. I felt as if I were being led by a real tourist guide. Every area was fully addressed. Not only that, but the recommendations section was amazing. I tried the gelato that Matteo recommended in his digital guide. The most essential thing is that I can tour the city at my own pace. I may pause the tutorial to snap photos, then resume utilising it as needed. I highly recommend the Digital Guide provided by Matteo especially if you prefer to explore the city on your own but needs some guidance.

Excellent value and experience

I love walking tours and have taken MANY. However, in Bergamo none fit my schedule. I was fortunate to find a digital tour. You need a smartphone and service. You can go at your own pace, any time of the day. It was perfect for us and allowed us to take our time and make a full day out of a 2 hour tour. The maps helped stay on course, photos confirmed where we were and background information made the experience very enjoyable. Helpful hints about food helped us find the best gelato we had in Italy. Overall, best value of all my experiences this trip.

Great way to see and learn about Beautiful Bergamo

The digital walking tour was excellent. It included very easy directions to follow, along with maps with the click of a button. I LOVE how pictures were included and the written dialogue that went along with the audio. I am a very visual learner so I really appreciated that aspect. The stops included were beautiful and well thought out and the information given was excellent, without being too overdrawn. I loved being able to do the tour at our own pace and stop the tracks along the way to take advantage of other points of interest along the route. I really appreciated the food recommendations given as well.

Bergamo alta virtual tour was a great way to see the old city on a very rainy day!

Well through no fault of the tour or guide...it poured throughout the day. Luckily we chose a very time-independent tour...from the ability to arrive whenever we wanted (had a hard time finding a parking spot close to the funicular). At the top of the funicular was the starting point of the tour. Our interview was not really working and unfortunately, we didn't download the app (as instructed) and get it ready to go for the the tour ahead of time. We ended up calling the tour guide who sent us a direct link through WhatsApp which worked great and was very much appreciated! The tour was perfect for what we wanted out of it given the poor weather and the instructions on where to go were very good. The cost of the tour was very appropriate too. Would recommend using your own phone headphones vs. holding the phone to your ear throughout the tour (also helped because we had to hold our own umbrellas throughout! grazie mille!

Better than a live tour guide

This is the first time we use the digital guide and we love it! It was very clear and contains useful information about the city its culture. Also love the food Tipps. You could do it on your own with whatever tempo you like, have any breaks as long as you wish. Highly recommend!

Great walking guide

We had visited Bergamo once before but on our second visit we wanted to learn more about the city. This guide was perfect as we could take it at our own pace and we learnt so much, found things and places we never saw before. We also tried out some of Matteo’s food recommendations, I won’t spoil it by naming them here, but yummy definitely recommend.

The Tour was really great. I really like all of the stops we had on the road. We could do a break whenever we want to and hear funny and important information about a lot of sightseeing spots. Great idea on getting the best out of a city

This is a great idea of how to see a city at your own pace . You download the information on payment which is really quick and easy . Then use the guide to help you make the most of the city and its sights . We were able to hear all about the sights visited just by clicking on the picture attached to the guide . Great idea and well worth the money😊

A MUST do if in Bergamo!

This was by far the best thing we could have booked!!! We traveled to Bergamo on the recommendation of work colleagues, and did not have anything planned. I found Matteo’s walking guide with a planned itinerary and we fell in love with Bergamo. His insight, tips, anecdotes, and jokes made the tour even more enjoyable and it felt like we had a true local guide. He even reached out to make sure we didn’t have any questions and ensure to be available with any concerns. We loved it so much we booked the Venezia walking tour with him. It was an amazing tour! We learned a lot about the city and the food recommendations (specially the ice cream place called Carmen) were amazing too.
