Very good and interesting tour, would recommend Saw lot's of tempels, traditional rice paper and sticky rice making, fish market and plenty more.

A great way to see the gems of Battambang!

Mr Lychee’s tour and exceptional knowledge allowed us to see and understand the history of many of the gems of Battambang! It was a great, jam-packed day filled with lots of new experiences that were enriched by Mr Lychee’s engaging demeanour. We highly recommend choosing this tour if you’re visiting Battambang :)

Amazing Battambang cycling tour!

What an amazing day...! I’m not going to lie, I am not a great cyclist, and 45km was a bit intimidating - if you’re in that boat too then let me reassure you that Cambodia is really flat and the pace of the tour means that you will barely register that you have cycled that much! I really recommend the full day! Sambath met us at our hotel with the bikes, all good quality and with little pouches on the front to hold our phones, water and suncream. We also got helmets :) Sambath is a friendly and knowledgeable person, he took us around Battambang and answered our every question, though it felt more like friends chatting than a guided tour. It didn’t feel like a cringy tour, it was just the three of us so we were able to converse well and not be dominating when visiting locals. We got to taste local Cambodian snacks, and Sambath explained to us how they were made and the workers daily routine which was fascinating in the extreme. The bamboo train was very exciting but probably the most touristy part of the tour- not that it mattered when you were on the train and speeding away from everyone! Sambath, thank you so much for this perfect day. We hope more people join you on one of your adventures as it was the best way to experience Cambodia as locals see it- away from the tourist hot spots! Xx

Battambang chemin bicycle

Amazing experience!!! We first booked for half day tour, but because we were having so much fun and we were so interested that we did the entire day!! It is so interesting and enriching, we have learned a lot about the cultures, the villages, the food, the habits and the specialities of the local population. Sambath explained us a lot of stories and has brought us to super nice places! He really knows what he is talking about! His French is really good so if you want a French tour, do not hesitate! Otherwise of course his English is perfect. I truly recommend this tour, because it is not one of this agency tour where the guide only care about making money and are not interested by what they are doing. Sambath gives his heart to this, he is passionate and he truly cares about the people. Not only us but especially the local population, he really does that to help them as well. This is the best tour ever, we are tasting the rainbow!!!!

Had a great day with Sambath. I booked after receiving a recommendation from a friend and was very glad I did. Sambath is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares a lot about his guests. He taught us so much about the food, culture, and history. Definitely recommend. Can't go wrong with the half day or full day.

A beautiful day around Battambang

We toured the attractions around Battambang with Mr Lychee on the advice of the homestay where we lived. He speaks good English and he gave us qq explanations that were supplemented by visits (paid).

Battambang fietstocht

We hebben tijdens onze reis naar Vietnam en Cambodia veel geboekt via Tripadvisor, en het was steeds heel goed, behalve in Battambang! Daar moet iets verkeerd gelopen zijn, want we reden er op heel oude, kapotte fietsen; hadden betaald voor bezoek aan tempel, die we nooit gezien hebben; lunch was ook beneden alles. Wij denken dat door het Chinese nieuwjaar, de persoon die normaal onze fietstocht moest leiden dit gewoon doorgegeven heeft aan een vriend die een paar fietsen thuis staan had. Dit was Theng, een heel lieve man, zeker niet zijn schuld. Maar we voelen ons wel enorm bedrogen die dag, hebben ongeveer 250€ betaald (4 volwassenen) en hebben er werkelijk niets voor terug gekregen. Het was zo erg dat we eigenlijk echt ons geld terug willen, want de betaalde fietstocht is er gewoon niet geweest. Dank voor uw feedback. (ciska@werquin.com)

Excellent tour !

Sambath est un très bon guide. Il parle très bien anglais et même un peu français. Superbe aperçu de la vie et des paysages locaux ! Avec de magnifiques photos faites par son ami Ly Sambo

Expérience inoubliable !

Suite à recommandation d'une connaissance, j'ai réservé une journée avec Sambath (Battambang Chemin Cycling), de 8h à un peu plus de 15h. Et cette expérience fut tout simplement l'un de mes meilleurs souvenirs du Cambodge ! Sambath est un guide exceptionnel : durant toute la journée, il est à l'écoute, va à votre rythme, adapte le parcours si besoin, et est surtout un guide passionné. Il donne de nombreuses explications tout au long de la journée sur ce que nous visitons, sur l'histoire du Cambodge, et réponds volontiers à toutes nos questions ! Durant toute la journée, Sambath est "aux petits soins" : il fournit l'eau tout au long de la journée, il y a dans la matinée de nombreux "en-cas" afin de goûter plusieurs spécialités du pays, et le repas du midi (délicieux et encore une super découverte !) est compris. Sambath s'arrête volontiers au gré de nos rencontres, envies, et nous n'avons absolument pas l'impression d'être dans une activité "commerciale", mais plutôt avec un ami qui nous fait visiter son pays au plus près de la vraie vie Cambodgienne. Les nombreuses conversations avec Sambath tout au long de la journée sont de plus très enrichissantes, et nous avons beaucoup rigolé. Allez-y les yeux fermés si vous souhaitez découvrir le Cambodge au plus près des locaux, si vous souhaitez goûter des spécialités locales, et mieux comprendre la vie dans ce beau pays. Sambath, merci pour ta sympathie et toutes les photos et vidéos prises pendant la journée ! J'ai de super souvenirs en tête grâce à toi. Continue comme ça !!!

Le meilleur des guides 😍

[guide Battambang] Ce n'est pas dans mes habitudes de recommander un guide mais là j'ai eu un guide exceptionnel à Battambang ! Sambath Battambang est formidable ! Il m'a fait découvrir la campagne au plus près des locaux ! Au programme: bamboo train, fabrication de chips de bananes, de pots en argile, visite d'un village de pêcheurs ! Il était aux petits soins, l'eau était comprise tout au long de la journée ainsi que le repas et il m'a même offert une coco ! Il propose des tours à vélo (donc ecolo 😉) à la demi journée (plutôt orienté nourriture: fabrication de feuilles de riz, alcool de riz, chips de banane...) mais aussi à la journée entière et bientôt sur 2 jours avec une nuit chez les locaux! Il s'arrête au gré de nos envies et rencontres c'était formidable ! Le plus: il a immortalisé ces beaux moments tout au long de la journée (photos et vidéos !).
