We spent 2 days with them covering all the sites of Battambang - biking, bats, killing cave, bamboo train, local crafts people, excellent food recommendations. First of all, if you want a unforgettable day tour in and around Battambang, go book with Kim!! We found him on Facebook and he is really responsive. He did a pick-up at the hotel in the morning and he really makes a special tour to our request. (No tourist traps) Kim is very friendly and has a good sense of humor. He will tell you a lot during the trip. From local market products, Temple Information, Cambodja history, animals, fruit, farm life etc etc, he knows a lot and knows his way around really well! He is very eager to learn and his English truly is on a very good level. We had an unforgettable day.

He was super helpful the whole day and an excellent guide that explained the recent dark history of Battambang and Cambodia, as well as the more ancient history with the various temples we got to visit. Wow what an amazing day we had! Kim is a super friendly and knowledgable professional tour guide and his English is perfect. He told us lots of interesting stories about Battambang, old traditions, the countryside life and also about his personal familys life during the Khmer Rouge’s movement. Excellent Battambang guide

We were recommended Kim by our accommodation, and we were so pleased. We ended up having a couple of days with Kim exploring areas around Battambang. Kim was very flexible, understood our interests, and was great company.

Unbelievable Awesome Day with Kim.

Kim was amazing from the very first meeting at the bus stop when we arrived from Phonm Penh. He welcomed us enthusiastically and cheerfully drive us to our accommodation. We had not booked him to do so, he recommended a lovely place to eat that evening, took us and bought us back to our home stay and met us the following morning, entertaining our boys all day. We trusted he would set a good itinerary for us, and he did. We saw EVERYTHING . From 8.30-7.30 he guided us in perfectly good English. This day was captured by photos and etched in our memories as we ride the bus on to Siam Reap. If you book Kim, you will have the best time, so must better than any tours on offer and so reasonable with rates too. Thank you Kim, our boys will remember you for always, as will we.

Great tour , highly recommend!

We booked this tour after Kim brought us from the bus station to our hostel, we didn’t know what to expect but we’re delighted with it. Our guides name was David and he was very nice man, very knowledgeable of the area and with excellent English was able to tell us all about the history and culture of Battambang. Being brought to small villages surrounding Battambang and being shown their family business was a great experience and felt like we were being brought to the real Cambodia. Would definitely highly recommend Kim’s tours!

Full Day tour of Battambang

Both my wife and myself had a wonderful insight of the activities at Battambang especially the Bamboo Train Ride, Secret Bat Cave and the Old Cottage Industries and the wonderful scenery of the countryside.

More like a friend than a Tour Guide ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Mr. Kim picked us up at our hostel and took us nearby to grab some water. He kept the water cold all day and gave to us as we requested! He is very knowledgeable about the history of Battambang and found it very interesting to learn about how Battambang got its name. The restaurant for lunch was reasonably priced and allowed us to relax for a bit as it felt 46c/115f that day. He also joined us for a chat about Cambodian life and his experience during the Khmer Regime after we ate. It was like sitting with a friend instead of a tour guide. We weren’t able to go to the temple on top of the killing cave because we didn’t book a car and we hiked too slow. I also think because we asked a lot of questions, we ran short on time as well. He explained a lot of the history of the killing cave before we viewed the site and corrected or answered our question about what we had previously learned about this time period. I’m a history person and liked that he could give us some personal experiences as well as facts. The secret bat place he takes you to is very calm and away from the crowds of other tourist. It made for a very peaceful sunset! He stopped on the way back so that some of us could try the Rat BBQ! It’s been 3 days and I’m still healthy so I think it’s a safe place! Haha Choose Mr. Kim because he is a safe driver, knowledgeable and funny!

Bamboo train and bats

Kim is a very knowledgeable and proud of his country’s history. He will explain all. We started the tour in the city. Visiting the market with very fresh products. Fish, snake, frogs, bats, eels, to name a few. Then we went to the French quarter and on to the bamboo train. Fantastic experience riding on the train track. A big train came and we had to remove our bamboo train. We visited a Swedish made swing bridge. Had a local lunch. Traveling to the bat caves we past though the countryside and were pointed out all the rice field at different stages chilli’s, mango, peanuts. At the killing caves we saw what the Khmer Rouge did to people and visited the temples. Saw and fed monkeys. We then watched millions bats exit the cave at dusk. I would highly recommend Kim’s tours fantastic day I will never forget.

Kim was so passionate and knowledgable about his country and battambang.. he gave us an in depth insight to life in Cambodia and the battambang city and nearby villages. Our favourite tour of the trip by far!

Amazing Country/City Tour

Great tour and guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly explaining everything along the way. I would recommend everyone to schedule this tour to see the country side and meet friendly locals along the way. I would recommend bringing a mask for going through some of the areas, and also brining some candies or treats for the kids along the way. Everyone is happy to great you and say hello! on the tour.

An amazing day out in Cambodia

Kim is such a brilliant guide! He took us on a triple around Cambodia History, monuments, temples, nature and we also had fun singing on the tuk-tuks, on the train and watching and amazing and surprising sunset close to a batcave. He is such a caring, dinamic, kind and supportive person! I traveled with a group of people and one morning I was so tired that I left my wallet (with all my personal documents, credit card and money) on a taxi and I noticed when I was in Thailand, after leaving the Cambodia border...I was so worried! The group leader phoned him and they sent it to their office in Bangkok THAT SAME EVENING. We picked up the following morning. I would recommend him 100% again and again for being so professional, patient and good person! Bless him and enjoy his wonderful trip 🥰 You won't regret it!

This is hands down the best tour I’ve ever taken anywhere. We went all over Battambang. Not only to some can’t miss tourist spots, but also to less well know areas that I would have never seen otherwise. Kim is an incredible guide. Full day tuk tuk tour

We had Nana (sorry if the spelling is wrong), Mr Kim's brother as our guide and we found him charming and humble. It was a fantastic tour and we felt we learned alot about the history of Battambang and also the livelihood of the local rural people. The countryside is glorious and the tour is very diverse. We were not sure about doing the bamboo train as had heard mixed reviews but we loved it and thought it great fun. The bat cave at the end is truly spectacular. Thank you for a lovely day, we enjoyed the tour and your company.

Fantastic tour of Battambang with Kim

My day tour of Battambang was fantastic. My guide, Kim was very informative and friendly, and he took me to see the best sights of the town and the countryside. I loved seeing the French architecture in Battambang, and hearing about its history and culture. I also enjoyed visiting the mushroom farm, where I learned how they grow different types of mushrooms and tasted some of them. The bamboo train was a fun and unique experience, riding on a wooden platform along the old railway tracks. We had a tasty lunch at a local restaurant, where I tried some traditional Cambodian dishes. After that, we went to a rice wine distillery, where I saw how they make this local drink and sampled some of it. The highlight of the tour was the mountain trip, where I saw the beautiful views of the landscape and the temple on top. I also learned about the sad history of the killing caves, where thousands of people were killed by the Khmer Rouge regime. It was a touching and emotional experience. The tour ended with a visit to the bat cave, where I witnessed millions of bats fly out at sunset. It was an incredible sight to see. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover Battambang and its surroundings. It was an unforgettable and enjoyable day.

Battambang tour

Mr Kim was the best tour guide I encountered on my trip around Cambodia. His tours were excellent and he was very informative about all areas of Cambodia and the history. The bamboo train was great fun as were the bat caves. If I travel to Cambodia again I will definitely contact Mr Kim again! I also met his brother whilst in Battambang who transported me to the station he was also great!

Only way to see Battambang

Would 100% recommend Kim’s tours to any backpackers in Battambang. His knowledge of the area is excellent teaching us things we would never have otherwise known. We have previously avoided tour guides travelling SEA however we’re glad we took up Kim’s offer to explore Battambang at a very reasonable price.
