Our tour guide, Lina was absolutely amazing! She is a former student of the Basel area and was extremely informative. She went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, and to show us sights we would have never seen. She showed up on time for our departure, and met us in our hotel Lobby. I would highly recommend her if you are planning to visit Basel!

Most informed Historical Tour of Basel

Our Guide Jonas was very courteous in letting us know he was running a bit late but made up for it with a very knowledgeable heritage tour of old Basel. We really enjoyed our leisurely evening tour (as an extra due to a double booking). It has been a memorable tour which we were fortunate to have Jonas as a guide. For 2 older sightseers he catered to our abilities very well. Thank you Viator and Jonas filling the extra booking!

Huge Disappointment!

The tour operator canceled the night before my tour without an explanation. I had booked this tour 4 months ago and don't appreciate the lack of consideration and customer service. Do yourself a favor and find a reliable company.

Must Do - Walking Tour of Basel

We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour with Jonas. He has a great deal of knowledge about the city and surrounding area. We saw beautiful sites and learned a great deal. Basel is an amazing city, having a guide like Jonas is a great way to better understand the history and way of life.

Save your money not worth being on this tour

Not worth the 250 dollars we paid for two hours. The guide was ok. We had extra time at the end do we could have walked inside the church or she could have taken us somewhere else. Really not worth the money we paid. Buy your sell a book on Basel and save your self the money.

Knowledgeable and accommodating

Mina met us at a pre-arranged place at the Basel train station. She was early. She walked us around Basel and gave us very interesting information not only about Basel's history but about life in Switzerland today. We had never been on a train before so she helped us figure out how to get to our next destination. She is very knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating.

A seamless, customized experience

We had an amazing experience with our guide Lina. She picked us from our river cruise in Basel and then we headed to the train station to store our bags. We then took a tour around Basel, of which she was very knowledgeable. We tasted cheese from one of the oldest cheese stores in Basel. She also assisted us in getting an antigen test so we could fly home the next day. After the tour, we went back to the train station and grabbed our bags, and hopped on the train to Zurich for the afternoon. She assisted us the entire way. We then dropped off our bags at our hotel and then Lina took us around Zurich for the afternoon. We tasted chocolate in an amazing shop! Lina made the whole experience seamless. Don't hesitate to book with this company. They can customize to fit your needs!

Best start of our Basel trip!

This was our very first visit to Switzerland, this tour was our ideal introduction to our experience, Lina is a true encyclopedia of info/tips/insights she answered all our questions and we hence enjoyed our stay in Basel much more.
