A Simply Amazing Wine Tasting Tour

Wow, what a tour! We could not fault it in any way. Joe was super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. He is so knowledgeable so we learnt a lot on the tour. it was so much fun and we didn't want it to end. We will be recommending Barossa Wine Tours and Joe to as many people as we can. We will be doing this tour again, next time we visit the Barossa!

Excellent small wine tasting tour

My partner and I were looking for a small, personalised and fun wine tour for our first trip to the Barossa and that was exactly what we got. The tour bus was a premium and very comfortable vehicle, and our tour guide, Joe, was the perfect mix of knowledgeable and entertaining. The other couples were lovely people and we spent a very enjoyable day together tasting. I cannot wait to go back and I highly recommend this tour company to anyone wanting a more sophisticated and comfortable but still fun tasting experience.

Fantastic Tour

We very much enjoyed this tour. The wineries were well chosen and we received a lot of information about the wines. Lunch was very delicious. Sofia is a very knowledgeable host - thank you!

Great tour with a knowledgeable guide

Sofia knows the region inside out. She took us to 5 wineries across Barossa, ask her to take you to Cimicki! She shared photos after the tour. She was 15 mins late and it was cold outside, that's why I rated it 4 not 5 stars.

Best. Wine tour. Ever.

We wholeheartedly recommend Barossa Wine Tours! Sofia was an amazing tour guide taking us to 4 outstanding smaller wineries whose tastings were hosted by friendly and knowledgeable wine experts. Lunch was a generous and delicious meat and cheese platter with the most mouth watering arancini balls I've ever had! We even had time at the end of the day to go to the chocolate factory. I would hands down do this tour again, and again. And again!! Thank you so much Sofia for such an enjoyable day!

Great day with Sophia at the wheel

My fiancée and I had a great day on the road with Sophia. She is talkative and thoughtful. The tour was flexible and crafted to our tastes. Sophia has a good relationship with the wineries and we were looked after everywhere she took us.

What a great day

Sofi was terrific. She will collect you from your door in the Barossa area. You will visit some very unique wineries for personalised tastings. Awesome share platter for lunch. Sofi knows the region & her wines. We had lots of fun. Best wine tour we have done!

The perfectly tailored day out.

An outstanding day. Sofia was able to tailor to our boutique tastes in a world class wine region that can be overwhelming for quality and choice. Excellent value for money and comfortable, clean, modern vehicle. Sofia's friendly approach and comprehensive knowledge of the district and independent of any mass producer made the day entirely about our experiences - she was able to work out some options and made sure that we had quality time with each producer. We cannot recommend Sofia and Barossa Wine Tours highly enough.

Fantastic day with great company

Sofia is the perfect guide for a Barossa wine tour! Great company and a wonderful selection of wineries! I did this solo and also had little to no wine knowledge. It was perfect for a beginner and got to meet some lovely couples as well! Thankyou Sofia for a great day!!

The wine tour you should take

Sofia was so lovely and has a fantastic knowledge of the Barossa. She cusomised the winery stops for us and the other couple on the group tour, and was really good value for money. Would highly recommend.

A real highlight

The highlight of our Barossa trip. Having done some wine tours before - I cannot recommend this trip enough. Sofi has an incredible knowledge and passJon for the area, and this is translated wonderfully to the group. She selected a great range of cellar doors which suited our group perfectly. Definitely do not need to know about wine to enjoy this trip. Every winery was so friendly and you felt like you were family due to the great relationships they all have with Sofi. We did this tour our first day and it really set up the rest of our holiday as many great recommendations were provided for our following days. We are already planning our next trip and will 100% choose this tour again. A must do! Thanks Sofi.

A grand day in the Barossa with an exceptional host, Sofia! From the first winery throughout the entire day, we enjoyed professional service and interesting information from someone who knows the valley and its wineries well. Sofia selected a great variety of wineries and we experienced a great range of wines at various price points. Her good relationships at local wineries translated into excellent tasting experiences for us, and we felt warmly welcomed at each place we stopped. We were never hurried, nor were we ever pressured to buy. Our day with Sofia was well worth the price, and we'd say it's a "must do" on a visit to the Barossa. Highly recommend!
