The perfect Barcelona food tour - highlight of our trip!

Such a great, authentic tour! Libor showed us around the market, and then a mix of small hole in the wall spots and iconic, must-see spots. We learned a lot about Spanish cuisine as well as Spanish history, which was a pleasant surprise. It set us up to eat well for the rest of our trip. We would recommend this over the large tour groups any day - thank you!

Outstanding Experience with Libor!

Libor was outstanding! Provided us with incredible information all throughout the tour. The stops were perfect. Plenty of excellent food and we love the group we were with. Well done Libor!

Delightful!

Ibor was a fantastic guide and very accommodating. It was a really memorable evening visiting places and meeting people I would have missed if left to my own devices. I highly recommend!

We expected better

The guide was very nice and friendly. The places, food and drinks were not what we expected. We bought a cat in a bag. We think the money would have been better spent visiting a high class local restaurant.

A great evening with a superb guide

We met Libor and spent the next few hours being entertained and superbly fed and watered. Libor had a fund of knowledge and shared it in a highly entertaining manner. Each bar had a history that was the backdrop to a variety of tapas and some excellent wine, cava and more. We made some new friends and saw and tasted things that we would never have come across had we gone under our own steam. Don't miss this tour!

Amazingly fun!

Libro was an absolutely amazing host, and the group we were lucky enough to be paired were fantastic company! What a great night. My family and I had so much fun that we didn't want the evening to end so we continued drinking in the Gothic Quarter long after Libro left to tend to his wife at home who is expecting any day. So kudos to him for having the dedication to taking us out despite his wife being home for the evening! The evening started in the Mercado of the Gothic quarter, with an explosion of sound and colour. It was truly breathtaking. From there we continued deep into the tiny streets of the neighborhood to some hand-picked bars and historical locations that gave us a true feel for the area and a fun memorable night to boot. Libro was so friendly and informative about the area, we felt like we were with an old friend the entire night. And speaking of friends, the strangers with whom we started the evening became close friends by the end of the night. What a great concept and fantastic outcome to a memorable night in Barcelona! We had so much fun and highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stroll around the Gothic Quarter and explore what the night has to offer with new-found friends and an informed local.

Amazing - delicious food, great company!

The BEST! Libor (hope the spelling is right) was our tour guide and we could not have had a better time. This was the best way to learn about the food scene in Barcelona. Libor was incredibly knowlegable and just great to hang out with. He gave us alot of info about Catalonian and Spanish history which really helped to contextualize where we were. You have to do this. The best.

Tapa tour tops out

Some “attendees” arrived too late and missed the beginning of the tour. One participant fell and hit his head on the pavement. And yet, our guide, Naomi, on her very first night as a guide for this company, facilitated comraderie amongst our diverse group that left us feeling like family by the end of the evening.

The Bodega Tour was one of the highlights of my Spain trip. Libor is a 5 ⭐ tour guide. The bites were delicious, the wine of incredible. Also met some fun people on the tour. The Bodega Tour w/ Libor is a must of you're visiting Barcelona. Relax and let him show you the best spots!

Super evening with Libor

Amazing food tour with Libor. The restaurants and bars were great and Libor gave us so much information about the city and its culture and history. I recommend it.

The best tour ever

Ellie was our guide and she was amazing. She is a born and bred Cataluyna and had all the best inside information. The food and wine was excellent and the other guests were tremendously fun. If we weren’t tired with jet lag we would’ve stayed out for more fun. I wish I could give it more stars.

Taste of Barcelona

This tour waz fabulous. Our guide was energetic, knowledgeable and friendly. We met the nicest couples and had a great time! The foods we tasted were plentiful and delicious as were the alcohol pairings. Very happy we chose this tour out of all of them!

Amazing food and wine experience

Elisenda was an amazing tour guide on this food and wine adventure. From the Mercat de La Boqueria with all of the stalls of food and spices to the wine we shared at one of the popular tapas places. He took us to some of his favorite spots that had been in the families for generations. Definitely go again

Excellent food experience touched all of our Catalan food desires.

Eli was delightful and engaging and our small group of nine guests were all thrilled to be able to partake in our Born and Bread Tapas Tour. For us it was an outstanding introduction to all the wonderful Catalan tapas, wine and vermouth that we had been reading about prior to our tour. What better Tour guide to have than one who was born in the neighborhood and has walked and spent time throughout her life knowing the stories and culture of the food and those who live and run the small establishments. Great enjoy!

We had us a time! As they say in old Spain, "It was a great enjoy!!" As the rest of the group said it was even better than expected.

A great way to experience the area of LaRambla in Barcelona and the delicious food and wine with an excellent guide!

Lidor was an excellent guide, informative and fun. The tour was relaxed and we did not feel rushed. We tasted many different tapas and were told the story behind how they were created. Everything about the rainy night was magical and I am sure that the people that we were with played a big part in that. I suppose that the way we all clicked even though we were from four different countries was my favorite part of the evening.

Can't miss Barcelona food and wine tour

This food and wine tour is amazing and Eli is an excellent guide. The tapas are all delicious (and from restaurants with deep local history) and the food is plentiful. Eli also creates such a warm and fun environment that the 3 hours just flies by.

What an amazing experience! As a food tour owner myself in Colorado, our passion is to support the industry while trying different foods. Barcelona Born & Bred was the best food tour we’ve been on. The samples were plentiful and the drinks amazing. Even more important, we learned so much about the history of Barcelona that we now know much more about the city compared to when we arrived. Vicki was a fantastic tour guide who was personable and knew how to incorporate each guest into the tour. You can tell she loves this city and giving tours. Great food, great route, great guide

Food was awesome, Ellie is a great guide, and the restaurants/bodegas are exactly the kinds of spots you wouldn’t think to go in yourself but pack a big punch for flavors and local history. Loved it and would definitely recommend.

Nice walk through Barcelona

This tour was a lot of fun thanks to our wonderful guide Nikki. She was extremely knowledgeable and charismatic. A bonus for some of our tour partners that she spoke several languages including German. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our only complaint would have been that the group size was a bit big, making it difficult to fit around some of the tables at the places we stopped. Otherwise great. Highly recommend.

So Much Fun!

Was so much fun! Eli was a wonderful guide taking us to some great places for tapas and wine. She was so personable and knowledgeable. Was a great way to start our time in Barcelona and get to know parts of the city.

This is such a fun time! Eli is the perfect guide. Loved the food and wine and seeing different parts of Barcelona. We have done it twice now, and both times were great.

Excellent a must do.

Excellent tour. A great introduction to some of the best Tapas Bars and food in Barcelona. We visited some of the oldest and most tradition Bodegas in the city away from the normal tourist traps. Our guide Eli was not only full of information about the food and Barcelona but her enthusiasm and obvious love for the city and its cuisine was amazing. Highly recommended, a must to do during your visit to this wonderful city.

Eli was incredibly easygoing, funny, superprofessional and an excepcional story teller. We really enjoyed the tapas and the different drinks we drunk so all in all, I strongly recommend going with her to discover another Barcelona that we don't know. Thank you Eli!
