Tablao de Carmen Flamenco Show with Tasting Menu or Dinner

Must see when in Barcelona.

The show was excellent and the food was really good. I highly recommend this show, great for all ages!

Book this as a Special Treat when in Barcelona

Perfect way ti experience local cuisine, traditional Flamengco show, and explore Poble Espanyol ! We scheduled our dinner si that we could spend a day in Montjuic to do the cable car and castle, culminating in a perfect evening. Buying tickets for the dinner and show allows one to enter Poble Esoanyol for free from 4pm. We booked the 8:30 show so we had ample time to explore mini-Spain grounds. Food was excellent and flamengco group was very passionate ,,, it made me hold my breath several times. Mesmerizing experience!

Awesome dinner with a show!

Our table was situated perfectly beside the stage elevated so we could see all the incredible foot work these dancers displayed. I think it’s worth the extra money to insure great seating and service!

Very good

Great music and energetic dancing. Dinner was very nice and plenty of Sangria. Service was polite and quick enough without feeling rushed.

Dancing was fine; tapas...

Dancing was fine; tapas not good. Probably could find a better show with better food in town. Wouldn’t recommend this particular venue.

Most enjoyable and cultural evening.

Great experience of traditional flamenco dancing. Such passion and emotion displayed in the dancing. The accompanying guitar players and singers were fantastic. Served with a delicious dinner. It was a memorable evening. Come early prepared to walk around the wonderful Poble Español

Show is nice, but tapas nooo

The show was nice, but tapas very disappointing, we didn't even finish them. Would advise anyone just taking a ticket with drinks only. In general, an experience for tourists, way too expensive for what you get.

Excellent show!

Wow! The show was excellent!! The dancers, the music, and the costumes. Inherently authentic! What I would change: The food was definitely native to the country's palate, so I could have done without the tapas, but I enjoyed taste testing. I had a young child with me, and the space was tight, so that was a challenge.

Flamenco & Meal

Booked for the meal as tapas wasn’t available. The Flamenco dancing was very entertaining-good atmosphere and the food was okay.

You Think You Know Flamenco? You May Not.

We loved this! My adult son and his husband spent some time with me on my extended stay in Spain. I signed us up for VIP tickets to the show at Tableau de Carmen. The owner, an absolutely lovely woman, brought us a glass of cava and gave us a short tour of the village in which this venue is housed. Then she explained to us what Flamenco truly is, and how her life story played out to bring her here in this moment, in this time. I’n not going to spoil her story by telling it here. Get the VIP tickets and learn from her yourself. You won’t regret it. And I haven’t even mentioned the dance itself or the music! We left this place after having been transported to a culture (after all, what makes a “culture” a “culture”? It’s music, dance, art, and literature). It was an experience we thoroughly enjoyed and would do again if given the opportunity. You really don’t want to miss this.

Wonderful evening at Tablao de Carmen Flamenco show with Dinner

We had a Great experience at Tablao de Carmen Flamenco. The dancers and singers / musicians were most excellent If you have never been to watch Flamenco dancers then this is the place to come! It’s a “must see” experience !! We bought the dinner package The food was exceptional We ordered one of each entree and split them. Delicious. Our waiter Ridu is “the best”. He was very uplifting and eager to help us understand the menu. The service was fast.!

Perfect evening!

What a great evening! Walking around the beautiful Spanish village and then the show. Incredible dancers and so passionate. The food was also very good. We chose the dinner and we were very pleased. The wine, and the service with the food all just perfect! And meeting the owner and her story was an added touch! We would definitely recommend!

Worth it overall

Amazing dancers. Food was just okay. But definitely worth it for the passion and talent of the singers and dancers and the whole atmosphere.

Interesting

The dancing was interesting to watch. The food was just okay; the fillet mignon was chewy. We would have liked to have had something or someone tell us more about the art and history of flamenco dancing. We also enjoyed walking around the Spanish village. It’s nice that that is included in the reservation.

Performers good food and service bad.

The performance was the highlight. So if you go. Do not buy food. The performers are clearly excited and happy to share with the audience. However we would have liked a little explanation or a program so we could better understand history of flamenco and what to expect. The food is ok at best. It might have been better but some of the food including stew and potatoes were cold. This was definitely not worth the price paid. If you go just go for drinks and the show. Otherwise skip entirely.

Fun night out

The show was great. The food was not that great. The meat was not cooked as requested. The crème brûlée tasted like lighter fluid. Th best part was the 8 year olds birthday. She was so cute.

Great experience, a must see event.

What an amazing evening we experienced on May 6 2024 at Tablao de Carmen Flamenco show. We purchased the VIP tickets and the experience was well worth it. The owner and one of her daughters greeted us and we were given a pirvate tour of the building, its history and the story of Carmen Maya, all with a glass of champagne as we toured the beautiful courtyard. We had an eight course dinner and the food was excellent! The permormers including dancers and musicians and singers were 10/10 If I am ever in Barcelona again I would definately attend this event for a second time.

Great experience!

Lovely experience for my first flamenco show! It was a little confusing finding it at first, but we ended up getting there right on time. Food was decent. Sitting on the upper level was perfect!

Historic venue for flamenco

Fabulous flamenco in a small intimate restaurant. The best part for me was arriving early and whilst wandering the lane way, hearing the guitarist warming up. Arrive early and enjoy the Spanish Village before. The meal was quite good and sangria plentiful. Could use the Barcelona Busturistic to get there and taxi back to Place Catalonia was about €8 (May 2024).

Fabulous show in an amazing location

A truly amazing show and a fantastic venue. The staff were wonderful. A night to remember and certainly a highlight of our trip.

Fun evening with good food

Make sure you get here early to check out the Spanish Village--both because it is a fun place full of interesting shops, and the restaurant is a bit difficult to find. Having free admission to the village included in the flamenco show and dinner is a great bonus! The food served was very good, and the dinner was very well timed with the show. I do wish there had been a little bit of an explanation of the culture of flamenco dancing, or a description of what the songs were about. The performances were very passionate and the dancers quite skilled. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

Wow!

I have been to many Flamenco shows and this was the most passionate and inspiring show I have ever seen. I/we were immersed in the dance and music. The presentation was captivating and the singing was perfectly executed and motivated the Dancers to perform their best! Great performances, we’ll be back, Si Dios Quiere, and we will be sure to see the show again! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing and breathtaking.

1. Our meal was very good, the beef tenderloin was tender and flavorful. The wine was great. The appetizers were also great. We just had no had experience with tearing the heads off the shrimp - while it was messy, it was also fun. Poor shrimp. 2. We’ve been to flamenco performances in Santa Fe , New Mexico, USA, so flamenco was not new to us. The performance at Tablao de Carmen was even better! 3. We especially enjoyed that the owner of Tablao came over and spent at least 20 minutes talking with us about our meal and flamenco. In particular she explained her vision for flamenco performances at her venue and truly enlightened us even further about the history and various styles of flamenco.

The younger dancer was great but the older dancer was outstanding. Plenty of good food and beverages. No one left hungry.

Awesome experience!’

Food, service, dancing, ambiance was fantastic. My only recommendation would be to replace the straight back rush seats at the dining area. Very small, uncomfortable for an adult, even a small adult. What a wonderful cultural experience!

Great show.

Great show. Did the tapas and had more than enough food and drinks. Very enjoyable for all ages. The dancers were amazing and the little girl at the end stole the show

Surprisingly high quality & fun night at flamenco show

Show was fantastic! Music and dancing was top quality. 3 course meal was top quality and wine enjoyable. Was dubious about the whole experience but if surpassed my expectations, would highly recommend. However explore all parts of the Spanish Village, we arrived at 6pm and were worried how to spend 2.5hrs before show started, as most shops were closed, by museums, fiesta show and town hall all open, with lots to read and view around the historical village.

Don't miss the Tablao de Carmen Flamenco and Dinner Show!

This was the greatest Flamenco show we have ever seen! The excellent dancers married beauty and passion in their performance. The guitarist, singing and rhythmic clapping added to the excitement. The food and drink were delicious, served in a beautiful restaurant that is located in Poble Espanyol, a Spanish village built for the 1929 Barcelona Universal Exposition.

My family loved the dancing and the atmosphere of the location. The music was lovely and everyone did a wonderful job.

Lovely place and good show

This place is located in Montjuïc which is very beautiful. I would recommend you get there early as the place is a little difficult to find, plus there are inside individual shops that I would have liked to have visited but by the time we got out of the show, the shops were closed and we had the early show at 6:00pm! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the show was great. We had dinner with our show and honestly I could have done without dinner, maybe just tapas as it was pricey and I cannot say it was delicious, just average tasting. The Dancers were great (Especially the male) and so were the Singers! At the end of the show, the owner's granddaughter (about 9 and in training) showed her moves. Very cute! My only critique would be that the dancers did not use castanets, so for me, it took away from the full Flamenco dance experience and I'll add that their dresses could have been more fashionable for the artful passionate dance.

Best Barcelona Experience

Wow! We had a fantastic time at the Tablao de Carmen Flamenco show. First the Old Spanish Village was a pleasure to walk through with beautiful little shops of art and pottery. The restaurant was charming with a mezzanine and tiered balconies so all the tables had a view of the dancing. The food was Excellent from the green olives tot he Fillet of Beef to the delicious and rich desert. We also enjoyed their tasty and large pitcher of sangria. The dancing was remarkable, professional, emotional, exciting and riveting! It was topped off by a guest performance of a little girl studying to be a flamingo dancing, she brought the house down with applause! We highly recommend it!

Very happy with the performances, the atmosphere, the food and the wine. Also loved the town where it is located Poble Espanyol. Everything was excellent.

It was so good!! An absolute must do! The dancers were so amazing and the experience was so fun. The singers were also so good. They serve you a lot of food before and during the break and it was all pretty good.

An experience not to be missed!!!

Absolutely amazing! I cannot rave enough about this experience. We got to meet the owner and hear first had about some of the history of the theater. The food was amazing. Really exceeded all expectations! And then the music and dancing!! Wow! Clearly a family of artisans who love their craft and have been doing this together for a long time. We were truly moved by their amazing performances. Even my 17 year old son was blown away. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is looking for an authentic flamenco experience in Barcelona!

Perfect First Night in Barcelona!

This was the perfect way to spend our first night in Barcelona. The food was good and the show was amazing (I have a crush on the young male dancer with the long locks!). An added bonus was seeing the little village where the tablao is located that includes replicated architecture throughout Spain. We even saw some Picasso pieces in a museum!

Magical

The evening included a buffet and a flamenco performance. My expectations for the buffet were low. But they were blown away. The food and the service were excellent. The show that followed was passionate, moving, enthralling. I highly recommend this experience.

The evening was a magical one indeed! From the moment we stepped into the Pueblo Espaol Museum to dining at the Tableau de Carmen Flamenco show, the entire experience was breathtaking. The ambiance was lively, energetic, passionate, and inviting. The staff was attentive and cared for our every need during the performance. The dancers and singers were phenomenal; their performance was intense and exciting. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this event to anyone visiting Spain.

Short performance but very good, very well done. Food was good, staff very friendly and the dancing was great. Really also enjoyed the intimacy of the restaurant / theater.

We received the VIP treatment! It was wonderful. The food, drink, servers, dancers were all fabulous! It is a little tricky to find (Google Maps- was not helpful). Go early & shop around inside the walls & near the performance theater. We brought our 21 yo daughter & she loved it too.

Dance the night away!

I really enjoyed the show! Nice seating, right by the stage! Appetizers were amazing, salad was delicious! Entree we got the filet we asked for medium rare but it seemed a little overcooked but flavor was still good! Dessert was crème brûlée which is my MOST FAVORITE dessert ever but it wasn’t my favorite! The entertainment was exceptional! Definitely would recommend going!

A Great Place To See Traditional Flamenco Dancing

I booked the Tablao de Carmen Flamenco show with 3 course dinner for my daughters birthday. We had a fantastic time, the food and service was excellent. The show was exceptional and the dancers where brilliant. I would definitely recommend the Tablao de Carmen Flamenco show.

Excellent Musicians and Dancers

The program is definitely geared to tourists (there were a couple tour groups in attendance while we were there), but it really is a good show. The food is good and the performance is a lot of fun. All the performers had a lot of energy and appeared to really enjoy what they were doing. It is an especially good family activity with younger children. Our eight year old daughter really enjoyed it and loved the food (which was a big win). There are late night clubs that cater more to couple out for the evening but for families with kids, this is a great way to see some Spanish (if not exactly Catalan) culture.

Amazing vegan tapas with amazing service and a spectacular show! The music and dancing were so intense and artfully executed. A highlight of the trip!
