Great way to spend an evening!

Adrian was a wonderful tour guide! It was fantastic to try authentic Catalan tapas as well as vermouth, sangria, cava and more. We loved exploring this part of the city with Adrian’s recommendations snd great storytelling.

So much fun!! We went to some local spots that we would of definitely missed without Adrian. There is plenty of food and drinks! Adrian was very knowledgeable and knew a lot of history about the bars we went to.

Great tour, Great Huide

This was one of our favorite tours. Great food, Great wine and an amazing tour guide. Adrian was very knowledgeable and informative. He took us around to some of the best kept secrets. He was so warm and welcoming he felt like a long lost friend. Ask for Adrian if you take this tour, you will love it.

Excellent insight into hidden gems of the city

An excellent evening spent with Adrian and his trainee Caroline. We spent a beautiful evening walking round Barcelona, learning about the history of the neighbours, buildings and the food and drink. Gave us the opportunity to try some new food and drink that we would have not tried otherwise, and eat and drink inside some authentic Spanish places. A very laid back evening, and we were lucky to have a really small group. Would definitely recommend

Excellent Overview to Spanish Tapas!

We were lucky to have our own personal tour guide Adrian! He took us to several local haunts and exposed us to traditional tapas early on in our trip. He had a wealth of knowledge on food and wine. We booked his “sister” tour in Madrid as well. Great way to go deep into uniques places in a city in an intimate way. Thanks Adrian! Beth and Kevin Skinner

Last-minute owner canceled. Very unprofessional.

My daughter had this tour scheduled for months. It was confirmed in March then less than a week before the owner messaged her to tell her that he was going out of town and that we needed to reschedule. Our itinerary doesn’t allow us to do the tour on any other day and when she told him that, he told her to cancel the tour instead of cancelling it from the company’s end. Trip advisor’s rules and regulations specifically state “if the owner needs to cancel your booking, they should do so themselves via our platform.” Very unprofessional, and regardless of how good the tour is, I wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody based on his business practices.

An enjoyable evening tour. We learnt a lot. Tour turned into a private tour and Adrian was such a great host.

Marina was our guide and she was delightful - full of fun and interesting historical stories. She introduced us to lots of yummy tapas & wines and a wonderful Argentinian restaurant. We would highly recommend her. Thank you Marina!

Great tapas tour!

Great evening Barcelona history and tapas tour with Adrian. Tried many different tapas and wines. Enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Informative food tour

We were a very small group and enjoyed various very tasty foods and great wine. Just a hint for our tour guide: make sure the meeting point is very clear. The restaurant where we should have met has not signs visible from the street. Our Australian friends had problems finding the meeting point because they came from the other side. However it was a very nice and informative food tour and we enjoyed many laughter and new friendships.

Our tour guide talked about himself the whole time and showed no interest in our group. He was rude and critical of tourists. Plus, the food was not fresh and very heavy.

NO SHOW from the Tour GUIDE

Got a confirmation the day before from tour guide / Viator telling details of where to go and meet. We spend Cab money and went all the way down to meeting point and I called the guide and he told me he "tried to reach me" to cancel it because it was his birthday and the other guide broke her foot. I understand the broken foot but that happened a week prior with NO notice from guide--even though he said he "tried to contact me". SO they had my phone number and email to send confirmations / payment info but not to cancel. Tour Guide said he cancelled a week ago and if that was true ...why did I get a confirmation the day before ? Viator when they were called said they had also received no communication from guide on cancellation. Viator said they would credit....but that is not the point when you are in a foreign city that you probably wont be back to and plan around it. WIll not use Viator probably in the future. Last point, I have had to work many birthday's--not an excuse for cancelling on someone.

Fun way to eat and drink and get a history lesson at the same time

What a fun tour. Adrian (our guide) knew the best places to take us in Gothic District. He created a fun vibe for the whole group. He took us to several places that have been in existence for over 100 years which was so fun. The only problem was that we did not pay attention to our surroundings and when we went back to the Gothic District to go to a couple of the places, we could not find them. So much rich history. This is a must do tour.

Great overview of fantastic restaurants

This tour is fantastic for new-to-Barcelona visitors and returners alike. Adrian has a pulse on the city and took us to a wide variety of local gems with amazing food and generous drinks. He’s really knowledgeable about the history of the city, and we learned a lot of new things even though we had all spent time here before. Highly recommend!

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!

We LOVED this tour! Adrian is fantastic. He has a great personality! Fun, interesting and knowledgable on food, culture and history. We loved the restaurants he took us to. The food was delicious and plentiful as was the wine and cava. He really knows his stuff as well as knowing all of the locals. We had all been to Barcelona before but learned things we did not know, experienced food we never had. Whether it is your first time this beautiful city or have been before, we highly, highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic afternoon!

Had an awesome afternoon. Generous offering at each restaurant and our guide Marina was outstanding and made the afternoon fun and informative. A good thing to do when you first arrive in Barcelona to get great restaurant and bar recommendations from a local and have a great afternoon at the same time.

Excellent intro to Barcelona

I booked this for me and my 21 yo son for the 1st night of our 4 day visit to Barcelona as I thought we'd be tired from travelling and would need an easy and fun evening. We met the group at 5 and were thoroughly entertained by our host, Adrian. He knew the city inside out and was a real foodie. No shortage of delicious food on this tour, the patatas bravas were historic! We were a bit worried there were *too many* alcoholic drinks scheduled but over 3 hours of eating and walking it was just right. Highly recommended.

Authentic Catalan food and drink experiences

We enjoyed a wonderful evening exploring different Barcelona neighborhoods and cuisines on this tour. Our guide Marina did a fantastic job coordinating the outing for our multi-generational group of 9 from four countries. She curated a series of authentic Catalan food and drink experiences that were truly off the beaten path. Marina also shared the history of Barcelona as we walked through the Barceloneta, Born and Gothic districts of the city. A memorable outing and a great introduction to Barcelona!

Great experience to find your bearings in Barcelona

Marina created a wonderful atmosphere in our tour group of 6 and provided informative knowledge of the area. The food choices were delicious along with the drink pairings especially the clara beer (surprisingly). Great tour to do on one of the first nights of the trip as we knew what to except from tapas when we went again.

Best part of an outstanding vacation

Adrian was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun! He allowed us to make very brief detour to his favorite place for olive oil. The food and drinks were amazing! Excellent all around!

An evening with Marina

Marina was our wonderful host for this Tapas and Wine tour. It was a group of 8.....6 USA students on a high school graduation trip and a senior age couple ( us). It worked out wonderfully, as Marina bridged the generation gap and we could not have asked for better companions!! All 4 restaurants were local places with the BEST food and drinks! Even with my vegan diet, I was easily accommodated. Easily walkable between locations. Highly recommend!

Super fun and delicious tour!

This tour was SO much fun!!! We had an absolute blast wandering through the beautiful and charming streets of Barcelona with El and our fellow tour-takers. El is a Barcelona native and was incredibly knowledgeable about both the history and the food history of Barcelona. She took us to several different neighborhoods and had a cool spot picked out in each one that was ready and waiting for us to come in and sample delicious food and drinks. The tour was exactly the right length (not too short or too long) and we were all very full by the end of it. El was so kind and answered any and all questions along the way! She even provided us all with an amazing and comprehensive list of restaurants and bars throughout the whole city that we used during our remaining days in Barcelona. We did this the night we arrived and it was the perfect way to stay awake and combat our jet lag. Highly recommend!!!

Great food, great wine, fun group

El was a great guide, and we had a fun group. She was very knowledgeable about both the history and the way the food was prepared. My wife and I love these food tours which we take in most cities we visit, and this tour one was high on our list. Thank you Elvira!

Great fun, food and drinks with a heap of history with an excellent host

Brilliant experience, El our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a great host at each stop and in between. Would thoroughly recommend as one of the first things to do in Barcelona to set you up for the rest of the visit

Food, fun and history.

This is a great fun and relaxed way to get a taste - pun intended- of Barcelona! We are a family of 6 ranging from 22 to 62 and we all enjoyed the food, the places, the insights into Barcelona and more. A great way to spend an evening. And Adrian followed up by giving us very useful lists of good places to go in Barcelona.

Great introduction to Barcelona.

Adrian was friendly, knowledgeable, and high energy. He showed us some great sites, and all of the food stops were excellent. It is a great introduction to Barcelona's history, food, and the Gothic Quarter.

Fun way to learn about tapas!

Gray time. Guide was knowledgeable and the food intriguing. Had lots of fun. It was a safe way for a foreigner to get introduced to Tapas.

A good sample and overview of Spanish tapas

Overall the tour provides a good exposure to different types of authentic Spanish tapas. We went to were the locals go, so we got to experience the real deal. We visited 4 places, each in their own unique way and the food was good. Favorite was the 1st one were we got to try the traditional tapas with Jamon Serrano, manchego cheese and sangria and the others we tried patatas bravas, pan con tomate, sardines, sausage and wine! It had a good variety and we learned a bit of history along the way. The 3rd stop was Argentinian and I did not care for it much, other than for the wine and the eggplant sample. A good tour for a high level overview to Spanish tapas!

Such a tremendous time enjoying all of the wonderful food, drink and enchanting history of the beautiful neighborhoods. This is a must do activity as it provides so much more that just a quick bite. I have such a deeper appreciation for Barcelona and its people. Adrian was an excellent host/tour guide.

Good Company and Good Food

Food is best when it's enjoyed in the company of those who appreciate the pleasure of simple, quality food. Adrian guided us to four tapas bars off the beaten tourist path and showed us how to enjoy fresh Catalan food. It was a pleasure to be able to learn about the differences in Iberian ham and how to enjoy a meal of ham, cheese, and Cava. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Adrian was fantastic. He knew his stuff and had the reservations for each stop ready to go. We walked in and drinks and food were ready in a matter of minutes. Food was amazing!! There is so much and such a variety. Drinks were great sizes... Adrian even emailed after tour places to visit if we had time to extend our experience. Highly recommend this tour!!

What a treat!

This was a fantastic experience with our wonderful guide Adrian. Our hope was that we would experience Barcelona tapas like the locals and our expectations were exceeded. Fantastic food, and plenty of it, authentic locations complemented by an interesting introduction to the history of the areas we visited. Not to mention the comprehensive food and bar recommendations Adrian kindly sent us afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Great

I had originally booked my tour on Thursday. Adrian reached out to let me know I was the only one that signed up for that day. He offered to move me to Friday which turned out to be much more fun. The food and drinks were plentiful and tasty, more than what we could finish. The sights were interesting, always nice to include a bit of history to understand the culture!

Enjoy delicious food & wine - YUM

Adrian was great! Lots of energy and facts. The food was delicious, the tour was just at the right pace. Our group asked a ton of questions and he was very patient. OMG - papas bravas were AMAZING!

Terrible tour!

Very bad experience. Too many people on this tour. Adrian walked too fast and those of us in the back couldn't hear him. We got lost walking down the narrow streets and had to walk single file at times. Adrian seemed rushed and not very pleasant. We told him that our friend had asthma and couldn't walk fast. He didn't seem to care. Tapas were just okay and Adrian's history of the Gothic quarter (when we could hear him) was not great. There was a smoker in our group of 12 and Adrian didn't ask her to not smoke. We had to move away from the cigarette smoke. Overall, the tour was very disappointing and not worth the money. We don't recommend this tour!

Food and fun in Barcelona

Great Barcelona food tour, with some history thrown in. We enjoyed the food, the drinks, the other participants and our guide Adrian. A great intro to the Catalan good culture.

A great way to spend 3.5 hours in Barcelona!

I booked this for my first night in Barcelona as I thought this would be a great introduction to the city. Met up with fellow travellers from across the world, we had plenty of delicious food to eat and plenty to drink whilst learning about the history and culture of 3 areas of Barcelona. Adrian is a great host. He has lived here for many years a d took us to the places he5 been going to since even before he moved there. This experience was enjoyable and well worth it

Adrian was the best!

I highly recommend this tour with Adrian! We had a great experience learning about the history of Barcelona, and trying tapas and wine at small, unique bars. Even better was the list of recommendations that we got from Adrian after the tour, which we used throughout our trip. We even came back to one of the tapas bar from the tour on our last day because we enjoyed it so much!

A great way to discover amazimg tapas within Barcelona .

Great tour!

Tour was great, food was great, company was great. This was our first ever food tour, so we weren’t really sure what to expect. By the end we all had full bellies and quite a few laughs with new friends. We are history buffs, and learning about the city was very enjoyable. We would highly recommend this tour and our guide, Adrian.
