We arrived at La Sagrada Familia on time and could not find our tour guide. So we missed the tour and could not get in at all.

Sagrada Familia

Victor was our guide. He was knowledgeable and spoke clearly and easy to understand. This was probably the best tour of our trip.

DO NOT MISS La Sagrada Familica!

Experiencing the Sagrada Familia with a knowledgeable guide is the only way to go. The sheer magnitude of the symbolism in the Basilica is overwhelming. Without the guide giving us such wonderful detail and pointing out so many things we would’ve missed our experience would have been much less satisfying. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and moved at a pace that we could handle. He walked us through the steps of entering the basilica through the security check and getting our earpieces so that we could all hear him regardless of wandering a little bit of distance from him. The guided tour was only about an hour and a quarter long, however our guide pointed out the other areas that we could explore on our own time. Our only complaint was that the company did not provide us with any anyway to identify the guide. We were told to meet the guide in front of the gift shop and we arrived about 40 minutes before our tour time. We had no idea what would be used to identify the guide so we kept approaching anybody who looked like a guide to ask if they were the correct person . Our guide was carrying a small plain red flag and was dressed in normal street clothes so there was no identifying shirt or hat or flag that indicated he was from the tour company. In addition, we were told to show up about 30 minutes in advance of the tour time, but he showed up about 20 minutes in advance , so we were concerned we might have missed the guide. However, once we did connect and he got the certificate to take us in as a group the experience was wonderful. We spent another hour and a half to two hours in the basilica and gift shop and museum after the guide was finished with the tour so allow quite a bit of extra time. Do not miss La Sagrada Familica!

Juan Miguel had so much information to share! It was an incredible experience and tour. LA sagrada is beautiful beyond belief, inside and out! It's a must see when in Barcelona.

Meeting point was not clear. It was a complete disaster. When we try to call to ask for better directions, nobody answered the phone. A very disappointing experience.

Skip the Queue Guided Tour of Sagrada Familia

Excellent guided tour booked through trip advisor. Guide was excellent and spoke very clearly. He knew his subject and gave us lots of tips for after the tour was finished. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sagrada Familia. Would highly recommend. Skipping the queue was very helpful.

A Must see when in Barcelona

Sagrada Familia is a magnificent structure full of history and stories. Our guide was articulate and thorough. But there was a lot of standing around which became tiresome.

Spanaird's Accented English Lacking

Signed up for an English speaking tour. Our Spanaird Jaime's accent was so thick and fast, I missed 90% of his talk. His audio microphone also static. Disappointing.

Great tour

Learning about the different sides of the Sagrada Familia and knowing what I was looking at gave the tour so much more meaning. This was a tour that was on my bucket list and it as worth the effort to make. Christine was very knowledgeable. I also liked that it was not jam packed with people so that we could see everything. We didn’t get to go in the gift shop because it closed at 2:30 on New Year Day.

Great Church / Guide and Tour !

Great tour - Nicholas was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the church - it was easy to find him as he always held up a red flag including at the meeting area in front of the church. Sagrada Família is such a beautiful work of art and this tour showed you just how much detail went into the architecture of this church. The headphones allowed us to hear what our tour guide was saying at all times even if you were standing a distance away from him.

We recommend this tour to all.

Juan Miguel was an excellent guide. We learned more about La Sagrada Familia than we had learned on two previous tours with cruise boat excursions.

Not happy

Terrible! Could not find the guide. He called and I told him I was standing in front of the cathedral repeatedly and his reply was: No, you are not! He never returned our calls or got back to us to reschedule even though we repeatedly called.
