AWESOME TOUR

If you want to see a lot of Barcelona in one day, this is the trip to go on. Alberto, our guide, was fantastic! Knew a lot about the history and told some funny stories. There is a lot of walking, but he kept a good pace and made sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. We walked through some beautiful areas, stopped at a chocolate shop, and had a wonderful lunch. Sagrada Familia was spectacular!!!! Thank you Alberto for a very memorable tour. And thanks to our friendly bus driver who navigated the streets of Barcelona like a pro!!!!!

Highly recommend

Alberto was one of the best guides I have ever had on a tour. He was knowledgeable and energetic. We saw lots of amazing sights and had good food at a local restaurant. It is hot and there is quite a bit of walking involved but you make up for that with all you get to see in just 8 hours. Would recommend to anyone that wants to see all that Barcelona has to offer and even a few things you wouldn’t know to look for.

Barcelona in one day

We paid over two hundred dollars for two people. We’re picked up an hour later than expected from our hotel. The vehicle was very nice. The tour was booked in Spanish; it was mixed with English speaking people. Boring listening to every thing twice when you speak both languages. We got a driving tour, then a walking tour in the old town, pretty cool. Then we went to park Guell; huge place. We got like 45 minutes to go in there; not enough time. After that we went to Sagrada Familia Church where you have to pay €36.00 more per person to get in. By the time we got there we only had a little bit over an hour including the time on the line at the entrance. No point to go there with that little time. We saw just a fraction of what we were offered. Not worthy. Lots of different ways we could spend that money. I don’t recommend it. Almost forgot; the guide was very nice but he was cursing a lot. Not a very nice thing.

Using Viator helped us have a terrific experience in Barcelona

Our guide, David, was very thorough in providing us with detailed information throughout our tour of Barcelona. He was personable and well spoken. You can tell that he enjoyed being our guide and loved his city with all its history. We have used Viator in Italy, Greece and Spain and highly recommend them.

Our tour guide was very knowageble but was very disappointed that our segrada tickets were no good and we couldn't see the inside of the cathedral

Great tour if it’s not raining.

The tour was great! However, our tour guide was not licensed to park in the old city Gothic area where our hotel was. She had to park in another area and walk to our hotel. We then had to follow her back to her car, which was about a 12-13 minute walk. It wouldn’t have been so bad except that it was pouring rain and our shoes waded through some deep puddles. This was the only bad thing. However, the tour advertised a hotel pickup and Viator should include that pickup is not available in the old city.

Barcelona Tour

Our tour of Barcelona was very enjoyable, we had a a very knowledgeable and personable guide, Alberto, who brought us to many of the highlights in the city. Unlike most tours we did not feel rushed and were able to truly enjoy each stop. Alberto was great and made the tour all around a great experience. We will certainly use them again.

Giovanni made this tour extremely worthwhile!

Giovanni was an amazing tour guide!! He was so patient, kind, hysterically funny and extremely knowledgeable about the city. It was obvious that he truly loved what he does and he’s really good at it. We felt like we learned so much and hit most of the major landmarks/city highlights we wanted to see while here all for an extremely reasonable price. My family and I really enjoyed our tour with him and we would absolutely recommend him to others.

DANIELA and team went out of their way to fix issues and tailor the tour to what we were interested in learning / doing.

Daniela was knowledgeable and thoughtful. She fixed an issue and gave us time to explore a bit and grab a snack. We had a personal tour but she would be good for a group as well.

A perfect Barcelona day!

Alberto was a wonderful tour guide. He was so friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. He kept everything on time and made sure to account for all the details and everyone in the group. Alberto shared interesting facts and stories about each sight that time seemed to fly! I would highly recommend this tour and Alberto! The mini-bus was also clean and driver drove safely.

Barcelona One Day tour

We only had 1 full day in Barcelona. This an excellent tour to give us a great overview of the city & allow time to see a couple of the 'must-see' attractions. ALBERTO WAS GREAT! He was very informative & helpful with tips & recommendations for things to do after the tour.

Although it was pouring rain, Daniella made the best of it and was super flexible to accommodate our wishes. She is a fantastic driver!! Delightful personality and added personal life experiences to the tour.

Daniella was outstanding. She even showed us a couple of other sites of interest that we asked about. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain, so we elected to skip the walking tour of old town.

Exciting views of Barcelona

This was a wonderful adventurous day. Giovanni is a great tour guide. He adjusted the program to the early morning rain, so everything else was uninterrupted.

Alberto was an amazing guide! Very informative, funny, and overall pleasant to have as a guide for the day. 10/10 would recommend this tour! The bus was comfy as well and there was just enough mix of walking and bus time.

Wonderful and very informative tour of so many great spots. We enjoyed the views and photos opts, lunch was delicious and Alberto was fantastic. He was so engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. He made the tour such a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend doing, additionally, our daughters enjoyed themselves.

Great time in Barcelona!

We only had a day in Barcelona before our cruise shoved off for other exotic ports, so wanted to get some highlights in. We chose Barcelona One Day due the high reviews that were posted. Alberto did not disappoint! Friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about this city that he loved. Took his time explaining the sights and some fun stuff that aren’t found in the tour books My wife and I are on the older side of life and we had a great time! Got back to our hotel in time for an early dinner. I Highly recommend this tour group and this guide in particular. Don’t miss Barcelona! Ask Alberto, he knows!

A perfect day of exploring Barcelona

We highly recommend the Barcelona One Day trip with Alberto! It was so nice to be picked up at our hotel and taken to all the Best Barcelona sights by air conditioned bus. Alberto was very knowledgeable, funny, and kind. We are grateful for the chance to have spent the day learning but also with some down time to go eat and shop.

Beautiful sites, decent tour, but no hotel pick-up as advertised

This tour was satisfactory for getting around to some key sites in the half day timeframe, specifically the Sagrada Familia, the Montjuic Olympic Park, and the Gothic Quarter. The tour guide was nice but I found that he didn’t always provide enough information unless we asked about something in particular. Unfortunately hotel pickup was only provided to one visitor staying a bit further than the rest of us in the group; everyone else was told that morning to meet at the Plaça Catalunya in the afternoon due to traffic problems. While I can understand that traffic congestion and road closures would be a problem within a 4 hour tour and we needed to meet the ticket window for the cathedral, the company should not charge people extra for hotel pickup and should be more upfront and realistic about the timing and what is advertised (especially for people that may have a disability or need to save their energy for the walking parts of the tour). It would also have been nice if the guide had introduced us to one another and learned most of our names.

Great overview of Barcelona

The minibus was comfortable; Alberto gave clear directions and colorful commentary on the city, with lots of opportunities for pictures.

Beautiful city and Alberto was awesome. He was engaging, knowledgeable and funny. The day was well planned and he did a great job making sure everyone on the tour had a wonderful day. He shared a lot of interesting history we would not have known had we gone on our own. Highly recommend.

Jaw dropping art

The most beautiful church I’ve ever been in. The stain glass was incredible, the artwork on both the front and back of the building was gorgeous. The artistic styling with the columns to let in more light was very unique and pretty

Excellent Sights and Views, Wonderful Insight Into Culture and History of Barcelona

Wonderful tour! Being picked up is nice instead of finding your way around an unfamiliar city. Then off to see wonderful sights. Beautiful views of Barcelona, including key landmarks. Make sure to bring water and comfortable shoes, there is a lot of walking. In the summer months, maybe a fan too.
