The best cooking class experience we have ever had! Kevin was the head chef, and kept the energy high the whole entire class. Alejandra ensured the cava was continuously poured - when they say bottomless wine - they mean it! Kierra offered a lot of knowledge about paella & kept the class fun as well. We will be recommending this class to all of our friends!

Must do in Barcelona!

We highly recommend doing this while you’re in Barcelona - we had an absolute blast! The instructors were phenomenal - they did an amazing job of helping us create delicious paella, but they also made it fun and engaging, and everyone felt like family by the end.

If you’re looking for an authentic and fun experience this is the cooking class for you! My partner and I took the class and had the best time! Chef Bautista, Kevin and the staff’s energy was unmatched! We cooked, we danced, we drank cava and made so many fun memories with our classmates. 10/10 we will absolutely be back to take the class again!

Fabulous time!

Fantastic night, great food. The chefs were so much fun. Where else can you try six different flavors of paella as well as tomato bread, frozen sangria, and a delightful chocolate mousse dessert. Would do it again 10/10.

A must-do for a fun lunch in Barcelona!

This is a must-do while in Barcelona. We had a blast with the amazing owners who make it so much fun... while we learn how to make delicious food! The Cava was bottomless and music pumping! We had a small group of 4 family members and the mushroom, black truffle Paella was the best I've ever tasted. Not to mention the tomato bread and dessert made for us. Don't miss it- perfect for all groups of people! It's a great location and fun atmosphere!

Best date night

Singing, dancing, cooking and laughing all together. This is a special group of people. Truely the best date night I have ever had with my husband. They make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Food was delicious, but the entire experience was an absolute delight.

Great cooking experience

We had a fun class at The Paella Club. Instructions were clear with lots of information provided along the way. Wine and music set the scene. Loved that we got the recipes so will be recreating at home.

My favorite part of my trip! This is a must do, the food was excellent and the whole experience was a lot of fun, good wine, dancing to the oldies and having an awesome dinner with family and “new” friends. I loved it! Very cool vibe-great evening out

A Must-Do Experience in Barcelona!

One of the primary experiences we were hoping for in our tour of Spain was to have a classic Spanish paella. This experience more than met our expectations! From the minute we ntered the space until we left there was amazing energy and excitement and the results of the cooking were delicious. My ONLY complaint is that the music was blaring too loud and that made hearing our teacher difficult. I am thrilled to have the recipe book from the club and brought home a lovely bottle of olive oil and a jar of their saffron seasoning mix. We intend to entertain our dinner group using the recipes from the club.

Absolute best fun, yummy and you’ll learn along the way

This was so much fun but also so positive, I picked up lots of ideas to improve my cooking, they gave us a wonderful cook book which reminds of all this and more. Our group was a mix of all ages. So worth doing.

Recommended paella experience

Our family of four (two adults and two kids (well behaved and well traveled) ages 9 and 11) did the amuse bouche class today. It was a highlight of our trip. The team at the paella club, led by Lucia, was engaging, helpful and most importantly fun! We learned many cooking tips, all of us were entertained and enthusiastic to participate and very much enjoyed the entire experience from start to finish. The fact that the paella lunch was absolutely delicious was icing on the cake for such a wonderful and enriching experience. For context, we are a well traveled family from NYC that loves food (we thoroughly research where we eat in advance!) but environment and people are of equal importance! The paella club not only checked all boxes but did so above and beyond - highly recommend!!!

The best experience in Barcelona

We had the most amazing time at The Paella Club whilst on my hen party in Barcelona. Bautista and his crew were welcoming, fun and kept our cava glasses full at all times! We learned loads about cooking in general as well as making the perfect paella, and a highlight was getting to sit and share a meal with everyone at the end. The class wasn’t just a boring sit and watch, but was fully interactive with music blasting & dance breaks!!

Good way to spend the afternoon in Barcelona

Excellent way to spend 2 hours in Barcelona. We were greeted with a glass of Cava (Spains sparkling white wine). After washing our hands, we put on an apron and started cooking our Paella. All the ingredients were prepped so we just followed instructions on how to put them together. Our instructor was very personable and well organized. She played music and communicated well throughout the experience. We had a class of 16 with 2 per station so you end up with 8 paella dishes. The cooking took about 1-1/2 hours afterwards we enjoyed a seafood paella, mushroom truffle paella, squid paella, pork paella and chicken paella all cooked by the student chefs. Very tasty and the local wines were very good.

Much More Than Learning to Make Good Paella

This experience was a lot more than learning to make Paella. Of course, Bautista and team teach how to make Paella and what makes a good Paella a good Paella in a fun filled manner. But the whole experience is about meeting people from all over the world and sharing life stories.

Best way to immerse yourself in Spanish culture with friends, family, and customers.

We wanted a special experience for both our team as well as our customer. The atmosphere was both welcoming and exciting. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by passionate staff. We were handed drinks and immediately knew this would be a special night. Very well organized and the food we made was excellent. Most importantly, we had the best time of our trip in Barcelona eating, drinking, and celebrating our time together in a truly unforgettable way. I would recommend this to anyone going to Barcelona and will sign up again for this class when I come back.

Was one of the best things we did on our trip to Barcelona. Very clean fun environment with a high energy staff to make sure that the group gets into the event. Learned how to make Paella four ways. 16 people in the class (2 per cooking station). I would highly recommend this to any couple, family or solo traveler. Delicious, Memorable Experience!

Don’t miss this!

The experience was a food highlight of our trip. We were greeted by Alejandro, who was so passionate about music, wine and paellas! It was me & my husband and our two adult daughters. We instantly became friends with all the other guests, 17 in total. Two people per station making a paella, guided by the staff (nobody could go wrong). Vegetable, seafood, chicken and pork paellas were made while the cava flowed freely. Our glasses were never empty! Finally we sat and shared our paellas family style with our new friends. Before it was over we were singing and dancing all together, and ended up going out together after our experience. Highly recommend this paella cooking experience!

It is all about the Paella and the People!

My husband and I had one of the best night ever while in Barcelona. The Paella.club was so fun! Not only did we make killer paella but we met so many nice people that attended the class too. The chef and assistants that run the class were unbelievably nice and fun. So fun I wished I could hang out with them everyday and be their new best friend. Also the local ingredients and items made by locals that are used and sold in the gourmet shop are very good! Love how the Paella club promotes others. Everyone wins. Don’t miss this experience, you won’t be sorry!

Good Time

We had an amazing experience! We learned how to make different types of paella and got to try them all. The staff had great energy and were all very nice and friendly. I was celebrating my birthday and they made it special for me. I would definitely go back when visiting Barcelona. I had a great time!

Great way to spend an evening with a difference

A fantastic evening. The Paella Club ensures this was a fun enjoyable experience from the moment we walked through the door. Very knowledgable hosts who were able to share their product and cooking expertise, but this was more than just a cookery lesson, it was a Spanish experince with lots of fun and laughter. The paella's we cooked were delicious as were the other dishes served at the end of the cooking experience.

Paella Club Cooking Class

We had an amazing experience at the Paella Cub Appetizer tour. The chefs were fun, organized, experienced and guided us through every step. There were 8 people total on our night and we worked in teams of two to create four different Paella dishes. The shop is adorable and trendy with great music pumping throughout the whole evening. Cava was flowing freely and the lively environment made for a great night out meeting other travelers. After creating our masterpieces, we sat down to a community table to share chef created appetizers, our shared paella dishes, red or white wine and salted chocolate mousse for dessert. 5 stars and a must when visiting Barcelona!

Best time ever! The Paella Club!

By far the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. We went as a family with our two college age sons and their friend. This experience with Alex and his team was so much fun, energetic, great music, amazing food, all the wine you can drink and we met others sharing the same. We did the 8pm session, then hit the bars afterwards with a bunch of others that we had just met. Highly recommend for all ages.

I will start by saying this was my husband’s and I 2nd time going! (Yes we enjoyed it so much the first time, 2 years ago) This is a must-do while in Barcelona. You learn how to make authentic paella hosted by the wonderful Alex! Alex and the chefs take you on an incredible journey of food, music, friendship, and my favorite cava! From entering you are greeted with a glass of Cava and the Cava keeps flowing throughout the class. You also get an opportunity to interact with others in your class so it’s great for individuals as well! Each person/couple receives their own paella station and set up and at the end you get to try each other’s paella dishes. The class is fun, entertaining and the food is delicious! There is an appetizer, paella, pallet cleanser and dessert! I highly recommend. My husband and I are already planning to come back every time we visit Barcelona!

We had so much fun! Enjoyed the music the people making and eating paella together! We were 3 families with kids 15-21 years old and everyone loved it!

SO Fun!

Husband and I went along with our daughter studying in Barcelona. Alex and his crew had a detailed and well oiled evening of wine and paella ready for us. The group that night was large, which meant a lot of paella varieties and meeting a lot of new friends. Our night was upbeat and fun, the wine was endless and paella delicious! Just go!

Wonderful experience! It's a great for anyone looking to learn more about cooking or just have a great time and make new friends. Everyone from the Paella Club was incredibly friendly, professional, kind, and passionate about cooking. The mission on sustainability, Spanish and Catalan culture/history, and building community is really unique and makes it more than just a cooking class or fun activity. I hope they expand soon to other cities/countries. Looking forward to returning and trying another class when I'm in Barcelona again!

Best activity during the trip!

This cooking class was a great mix of fun and culture! The people who run the class genuinely want attendees to enjoy themselves and really care about the experience. There is also a sense of camaraderie amongst the group which gets everyone talking and connecting. We tried 7 different types of paella and all of it was delicious.
