we have done several cooking classes in different countries. This place just brings the fun. The chefs were entertaining, and informative, and most of all fun. Lots of music. You had a conga line at the end. This is a great time!

Fun and Tasty

We had a wonderful experience at the Paella Club! The chefs made it a fun night where we learned to make and taste different types of Paella. The meal was delicious and the dessert was extra tasty. We would highly recommend this cooking lesson experience when you are in Barcelona.

This is an experience not to be missed in Barcelona! So much fun! We had an excellent time at the Paella cooking class. The paella was excellent, so many varieties were made and shared. Cannot recommend it enough. 10 out of 10.

One of the highlights of our trip!

We had such a great time from start to finish. I had read the reviews so I was expecting a fun experience but it far exceeded my expectations. The young people who run the operation did an outstanding job of making us feel welcome, explaining how things would work and their lighthearted, funny nature was contagious. I would highly recommend this class.

Great class, delicious food

This cooking class was tons of fun! Our glasses of cava were never empty and the paellas our clas made were delicious along with the other tapas and dessert the chefs were prepared for us. Would highly recommend!

Learn, cook and have fun!

Fantastic experience and so much fun! The chefs were welcoming and funny while teaching us so much. Each couple made their own and then we sat to a lovely dinner tasting each other’s dishes. Lots of wine or other drinks . I am dairy free and they accommodated my needs. What a fun night and a must do! .

High energy fun that has completely changed our understanding of how a good Paella is made.

We had a really fun time with the gang from the Paella Club. High energy and plenty of Cava flowing we set about making our Paella and whilst we make a version back home, this was a very different animal! Rich and complex and really a totally different process to how we have made it. This knowledge will be put to good use upon our return home. Thx guys, lots of fun

Fun Food Experience

Best excursion Ever

This was probably the most fun excursion I have been on in the last 20 years. My expectations were that we wouldn’t really be the cooks. I was so wrong. There were 20of us from our cruise ship, we paired in 10groups of 2. I also thought it would take a lot longer to cook. It took an hour. Our experienced chef was excellent with instructions. We had great music playing, wonderful wine and so much fun. Then we got to sit down together and try the 5 different recipes. You cannot go wrong with this tour ❤️

We had such a great time at the Paella Club. The Chef’s made the experience interactive and entertaining, while also imparting their knowledge & skills to cook Paella. Very generous pouring of wine all evening and a delicious dinner at the end. I would recommend Paella Club cooking class to anyone while travelling in Barcelona.

A must do activity in Barcelona

One of the best experiences in Barcelona. It was super fun and the paella that we made was the best I have ever had. That staff are fun and upbeat. We want to bring family back here to have this same experience. It is totally worth it.

A delicious night of food and fun!

We spent 10 days in Spain and our cooking class with The Paella Club was one of the highlights of our trip. We planned this outing with our adult children and paired off to cook several varieties of paella. Great music, the hosts were so fun and engaging, and our cava glasses were never empty - we spent the night cooking, dancing, learning, and laughing. Ended the evening sampling everyone's dishes and chatting with folks from around the world. This class would be fun for families, couples, and anyone who enjoys good Spanish food!

Must do in Barcelona!!

This is an absolute must-do! So. Much. Fun. Drink wine. Dance. Drink more wine. Cook. Dance some more. Seriously one of the most memorable things we’ve done traveling. Catering mostly to Americans, Fernando, Kevin and Alessandra were the best hosts and chefs. Do this! You will enjoy the entire experience!

What a great way to spend an afternoon. The chef was great and the group we were with all enjoyed themselves. Got to make and eat a decent meal as well as enjoy some Sangria

Outstanding!

This place is an absolute must when visiting Barcelona. My family (kids aged 14 &16) had the most amazing experience learning how to make Paella with Alex and team. We enjoyed this experience with 11 other strangers and came out of the night making many new friends! Its a combination of great music & great food. The chef (Alex) is so engaging that it is near impossible not to have a great time. No matter if you are a vegetarian or meat eater - they will accommodate all.

Hecho con amor!

We came to Barcelona to meet up with our daughter, who is studying in Madrid. We thought that this would be a unique and fun experience. Well, it surpassed our expectations!!! Rocío and her culinary crew were warm and welcoming from the minute they said “hola”, and the class was fun, engaging, and easy to follow…even if you never have lifted a cooking utensil!!! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun, and we had an instant connection with Rocío, and we fortunate enough to have the opportunity to chat with her. Everything the staff do here is done and made with love. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough!!! It was the #1 highlight for us!!!

Sooooo Much Fun (and some really good food)

This is such a great experience! We did the dinner experience (which is the one that I would highly suggest because they will ply you with cava and wine the whole time you're there so you're not going to be able to do much afterwards). Alex and his team have an infectious passion for the food and wine. The class makes several different paellas to try with a variety of flavors. Alex is the ultimate high energy host and makes sure that everyone is having a good time.

We had an amazing experience, yes you learn to cook great paella but we also got to have a great time with our instructor and all the other guests. This was without a doubt one of our favorite highlights from our time in Barcelona. It’s a must do!

Best Barcelona Paella Experience

This was a one of a kind experience. First the venue is beautiful but the staff is outstanding. Welcoming, fun, music, great food and wine and creating a real comradie with the group There were 17 of us, 9 Paella, vegetarian options and everything was delicious A highlight of my Barcelona experience!

The paella club does not disappoint! Alex is the penultimate host who makes the evening both fun and delicious! That was our favorite paella by far! Highly recommended!

Energy, music, paella, fun!

Alex’s energy and love of paella really ‘got the party started’! The music and atmosphere was great. It was really fun meeting the other participants. The food was delicious!

A really fun evening and delicious

This class was a blast! The team was really fun and they did an amazing job not only helping us cook a delicious meal, but helping the group of strangers bond. By the time that cooking was complete and we all sat down together to eat, it felt like a group of friends. Of course, the bottomless drinks were a part of that! if you don’t want to walk out quite drunk, do be careful to watchyour intake as your glasses are continually filled while you are cooking.

We had the best time at The Paella Club! The chefs did an amazing job with walking us through the steps for making the dish and made the entire experience from start to finish one to remember. My husband and I came here with a couple of friends on our last day in Barcelona. It was the perfect way to wrap up our trip. Such a fun interactive activity. On top of learning something new, we met new people, and also got to try out some delicious appetizers and dessert that was prepared. We would highly recommend it!

Great fun and informative!

The Paella Club is a cooking school offering a great evening of entertainment and delicious food made by the group. We were one of eight groups of two. Each group of two uses an induction cooktop. Our excursion was for four courses. We learned to make real paella! First the vegetables, then the protein and seasonings, then the rice and broth. We did the “shakey shakey” dance to settle our rice in the paella pan, joining in the salsa dancing with the knowledgeable staff. While they baked our paellas, we had gazpacho, then olive-oil toast, at the family style table. Cava and wine flowed freely. The staff served our paellas near us, then took care of shifting the hot paella pans. We all tasted each other’s: chicken, seafood, squid, and vegetarian preparations. We finished with chocolate mousse on which floated a thin layer of rich olive oil and black sea salt. The whole experience was FANTASTIC.

Literal can’t miss experience

If you love cooking, love eating, love music or love wine, this is a an absolute can’t miss experience in Barcelona. The team here is fabulous, the food was delightful, and the cava pours were never ending.

Actual fun for teenagers

My family of 5 had a blast (kids age 20, 17 and 15). All enjoyed. My 15 and 17 year old were paired up and I worked with my 20 year old. My husband was paired with another guest and enjoyed it as the hosts set a really fun vibe so that everyone is having fun together. We all tasted each other's paella (8 types total). Delicious!

Barcelona cooking class

This was a great experience with Alex. It was so much fun and Alex's energy was infectious and made for a memorable time. It was well organized and high energy.

Really fun experience and great food!

My mom, daughter, and I had a fabulous time! We enjoyed cooking our paella and then sitting down with the other 13 guests to eat a 4-course meal. They were very generous with the wine and cava. The chefs walked us through each step of making paella (made it fun too) and it was great to meet all the other people visiting Barelona from all over the world. The food was amazing and it was such a fun night. I think this is a don't miss experience!

Amazing experience on so many levels

Alejandro was fabulous. So much enthusiasm and energy from him and his team made for an amazing experience. From the welcoming cava to the accommodations for dietary requests, amazing creations seemingly happened with fun and just the right anount of instruction!! Our group of diverse folks all united over food wine stories and music.Alejandro needs to come to the US and unify the divisiveness with paella!

Amazing Paella cooking class. A must do when in Barcelona!

This was a wonderful experience, from the very interactive exciting staff to the great couples that made us feel like a family for the evening. Unlimited Cava and and easy steps to remembering how to make various types of Paella. We all sat together for the ultimate meal together. This is a must do when in Barcelona!

Paella experience

We signed up for a 2 hour cooking course. We left having had a home cooking class with family. The hosts treated us like family and our class became like family. The whole experience was one of the highlights of our time in España! The wine was wonderful! The cooking experience itself was exceptional! So many tips to help us when we did it on our own. But the best part of all was sitting down as a family of, formerly, 9 strangers and enjoyed all the dishes that we had just created. I highly recommend adding this experience to your trip to Barcelona!

Best Night of Barcelona!

We went in not knowing what to expect, but we had the best night! The music, the wine, the food and the new friends! You all go in as strangers, but by the end of the night, you are drinking, laughing, sharing a meal and creating memories together! We even went bar hoping with our new friends from London and a couple that recently moved to Germany. We were in town for a week, and this day was by far the best time I had during the visit! I will do this class every time I go to Barcelona and will recommend it to everyone!

Best Cooking Class EVER……

I’ve taken cooking classes in several other countries, and these have been “classes”. The Paella Club was a wonderful cooking party!!! The staff were amazingly friendly and high happy energy. Older teens, parents and old folks will all have a wonderful time at The Palle Club. I am almost deaf and the staff made sure I got a little extra attention to ensure I knew what was going on. They made me feel welcomed. I will be back to The Paella Club when I get back to Barcelona.
